Disney World's Flagship Park is massive and it can certainly be overwhelming so I'm here to bring you 20 things you must do in Magic Kingdom it can be pretty hard to determine what all there is to do in Disney's Magic Kingdom and what's worth prioritizing especially if it's your first time here or your first time here in a while so I'm going to break down those 20 must Do's in this park so that you know where your priorities should be on your next trip all right our first Magic Kingdom must do is going to be none other than meet the main Mouse each Disney World Park does have a Mickey Mouse meet and greet but it's hard to find a more magical place to meet him than in the flagship Park itself you can meet Mickey right here at Town Square theater where he is dressed in his magician best typically there's a pretty long line in the earlier part of the day and it tends to die off a bit the best time to meet Mickey is during fireworks because the line goes completely away you can walk right into me Mickey so mean the mouse definitely a must do even if character meet and greets make you a little nervous this is one that I think is worth doing just from the memory perspective from getting that picture perspective with Mickey Mouse but backstage magic with Mickey Mouse this is where you want to head for our next must do we're going to talk about our first attraction so right when you enter the park you can head up these stairs and you will find the Walt Disney World railroad this is a train that circles the park it has three different stations there's one in Fantasyland at storybook circus there's one in frontierland around Tiana's Bayou adventure and there's one here on Main Street USA riding the train is absolutely a must do whether you're using it for transportation or just to do a loop and use it as an attraction the train comes every seven minutes so it's usually pretty easy to catch a ride and I think it's a great way to get around but I also recommend just riding it even if you're not trying to get around making our way down Main Street now for two more must Do's that are right across the street from each other we have Casey's corner you definitely want to stop by Casey's Corner during your trip now remember just because these are all must Do's doesn't mean they're all must Do's in the same day or almost use in the time that you come or even all must do is for you if you hate hot dogs you probably don't need to do Casey's corner but Casey's corner is going to be a baseball themed turn to the century style Corner Shop that serves up footlong and regular hot dogs as well as the corn dog nuggets corn dog nuggets are one of the authors team's favorite things to eat in Magic Kingdom we get them all the time we split them we get we pay a dollar to get some cheese sauce we do it all the time so definitely a must do for us let's get those corn dog nuggets they're just little mini bite-sized corn dogs um also Casey's corner has a piano and often there's a live pianist who plays out here so even if the way you experience Casey's corner is just listening to that piano music it's worth doing it's a must do just across the way our next must do is going to be Plaza ice cream parlor now this is where you're gonna find hard pack ice cream here in Magic Kingdom you can find Dole Whip and soft serve elsewhere but this is going to be your go-to that hard pack ice cream and like really elaborate ice cream sundaes and things like that our favorite time of day to get plasma ice cream is after the park closes most nights Plaza ice cream parlor will stay open 30 minutes past the coast of the park so even when the rides are all closed you can still come get ice cream my favorite thing that you can get here is the Reese's peanut butter sauce which you can get on I usually just do vanilla but it's also on the All-American sundae so hi everybody recommend stopping by Plaza ice cream parlor now don't get me wrong it's just Edie's ice cream like you probably have an ice cream parlor that serves it in your hometown but there's just something about eating ice cream while looking at Cinderella castle that makes it taste a whole lot better I'm also truly not exaggerating when I say that any time we are filming a video that ends at Park close here in Magic Kingdom we get Plaza ice cream a lot of times when I'm starting to drag during those really difficult theme park challenges I just start thinking about the plaza ice cream I'm gonna have it is such a must do it's delicious it's so refreshing especially when it's hot here in Florida which you know it is so definitely a must do maybe one of my favorite musties on our list before we head out of Main Street and the Hub the center of the park we've got to talk about Cinderella castle of course taking a photo with the castle is going to be a must do all through this area of the land you'll see these folks with green shirts those are PhotoPass photographers you can talk to any of these photographers to get pictures taken of you and those pictures will be available in the My Disney Experience app so if you purchase Memory Maker where you get to keep all your photos or just want to purchase the photos individually you can do that there otherwise I still feel cut it you do not have to pay to have a great Cinderella Castle photo and with that you're going to want to walk under the castle this is a must do and it's one that you can only do at certain times of day as you can see right now there's a show going on at the castle so you cannot walk under it but later in the afternoon they open up that tunnel under the castle between Main Street and Fantasyland and you can actually see the most beautiful Cinderella mosaics one of my favorite details in Magic Kingdom and absolutely worth seeing it looks like it's gonna rain and I didn't bring a range jacket I had to hide from the rain but it's over that's not a must do you can walk in the rain if you want I just didn't bring a rain jacket because I'm a goofball uh but this next must do I'm going to talk about is actually kind of an interesting one because this one I can't show you because it's not nighttime but for sure I must do here in Magic Kingdom is see happily ever after that's the fireworks show at night it is about a 20 minute show that has amazing fireworks projections on the castle and all down Main Street it's so amazing I'm not even that big of like a fireworks fan and I love it now when you come to watch it you'll probably notice that the Hub and all of Main Street gets super super full of people just make sure when you come that you're listening to customers directions they'll get you to the best spot to watch it that's available when you arrive but definitely worth seeing the fireworks some of my favorite places to watch them are right at the train station and actually from behind the castle in Fantasyland where it feels like the fireworks are completely surrounding you it's so magical but yeah fireworks are almost too fireworks might be like one of the most must do that said for me when I once I've seen the fireworks show like every once in a while I pull it off my messages list because during the fireworks is going to be a great time the best time to get some of the lowest wait times of the whole day so I'm a big fan of riding rides during the fireworks too and that's okay if that's what you want to do too now if you do decide to ride rides during those fireworks might I suggest writing some of the coolest rides to ride during the fireworks my favorites are Dumbo the flying elephant I love riding people mover during the fireworks and I love Riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad but any of those outdoor rides that give you a view of the sky are probably going to be pretty fun to ride during the fireworks because the rain is like completely gone it just cleared all the way out now it's a beautiful day again ah Florida our next set of must use is going to be over in Tomorrowland so put your future pants on we're going to space kind of space Flash the future I don't know well we will go to space you'll see our first Buster here in Tomorrowland is going to be head to Star Command headquarters and become a Space Ranger at Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin this is the shooter attraction here in Magic Kingdom where you get your own little Space Ranger Blaster and you get to blast of Zerg it's a very fun very competitive ride where you gain points you can compete with your family and if you get that Max score of 999 999 points you get awarded the title of Galactic hero this one's super fun because it's so interactive all to say it's definitely one of Emma's absolute favorites she gets that every time we don't ride Buzz Lightyear Space Rangers thing so it's a must do for sure another must do here in Tomorrowland as you can tell by this line is the People Mover this is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority people mover and it's such an attraction that takes you on a tour throughout Tomorrowland both indoors and Outdoors you actually get to go inside some of the other rides you see the gift shops through windows and a bunch of Diaries Thomas it is super relaxing super classic and a favorite for many despite being a favorite it typically doesn't have a super long line either even this line right now that looks pretty long is probably going to move in about 20 minutes it's a very high capacity ride a lot of people can ride at a time so that line moves quickly and it's a super relaxing experience highly recommend riding people mover at night as well I usually like to make time to do it twice a double must do some might say it is loud in Tomorrowland speaking of long lines our next must do is going to be to conquer the mountains Magic Kingdom is home to a couple of mountainous attractions one of those is Space Mountain the other is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and formerly Splash Mountain which will soon be Tiana's Bayou Adventure when the new attraction opens in 2024. Space Mountain is going to be a roller coaster where you hurl through space it's very dark it's kind of rickety but super super fun and a favorite for many certainly I must do but be warned it is dark it can be intense it can be scary uh but it's not gonna be the fastest roller coaster you're not going upside down so really your bigger concern is just that it's pretty dark big Center Mountain Railroad is over in frontierland and is my favorite of the mountains it is a speedy ride on the wildest ride in the wilderness uh through an abandoned mine town and Mining Mountain it is a very fun roller coaster it's on the long side for a roller coaster just a total blast and then Tiana's body Adventure will soon be a dark ride slash log flume combo that takes you through a story following the events of the Princess and the Frog you can learn a whole lot more about Tiana's Bayou Adventure over on allears.net so if you're curious about that new attraction go ahead and check it out and yes they have installed the first big theming item over there with the Tiana's water tower which is super cool as well now we certainly we're not going to go through this list without talking about Tron light cycle run this is the newest attraction in Disney World it is a launched roller coaster that takes you into the world of Tron on your very own light cycle it's a very cool ride vehicle that you sit on kind of like a motorcycle and you're leans pretty far forward which makes the ride feel a little more intense the launch is very fast almost 60 miles per hour and it is indoor outdoor so you launch out under this really cool canopy that's even cooler at night with all the lights and then you head inside for a race against team orange on the grid it's a Super Fun roller coaster focusing complain that it's a little on the short side but I will warn you those seats are pretty uncomfortable so you might not mind it's on the shorter side currently the only way to ride Tron is with the virtual cue 7am if you have a Park reservation or 1pm if you're in Magic Kingdom using the why Disney Experience app or by paying to ride with the individual lighting Lane which will also help you skip the line it's usually about an hour away so with the virtual queue and I waited about 20 minutes with the individual lighting the other day hey we're in Fantasyland now for our next set of must dudes if you're into main characters then you're definitely definitely going to want to meet some princesses here at princess fairytale Hall in Fantasyland you can meet Tiana and Rapunzel Cinderella and a visiting princess it's usually Elena or we've seen snow white so if you want to meet some princesses you're going to want to come here this is another one that gets a little less crowded as the day goes on if you see the line outside I would maybe wait or use the lightning Lane for it before you hop in line because it might get a little shorter but you definitely want to meet some princesses now these are not the only princesses you can meet either you can also meet Ariel back by Under the Sea journey of The Little Mermaid at Ariel's Grotto you can see Belle and the enchanted tales with Belle storytelling experience and of course you can see princesses at Cinderella's Royal table so if you want to book a table service restaurant Cinderella's Royal table could get you to see a couple of princesses while you dine and of course that's dying in the castle so if meeting princesses is certainly a must do at least once maybe if you're here with little kiddos or maybe if you just want a nice photo of you in Cinderella a really fun suggestion that Sage wanted me to share with you is that if you are going to meet a couple of characters it can be fun to ask them what they would like to tell in other characters like if you know you're going to meet Cinderella and then meet Tiana later you could ask Cinderella if she's got anything to say to Tiana and be kind of like a messenger for her uh Sage suggested this I think that's super cute and I think your kids will love that it also can be awkward meeting characters so just having something in mind like that to talk about can make things a little less us offered a little easier our next must do is to head into the mines we talked a little bit about mines already with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad but here we have Seven Dwarves Mine Train this is one of the most popular attractions here in Magic Kingdom it's a snow white themed roller coaster where the cars are actually swinging mine carts that you sit in and they swing back and forth while the coaster goes it is a very fun roller coaster it's on the short side it has dark ride elements like you can see the dwarves working in the mines and singing hi-ho and hear more iconic Snow White music it's a very fun ride it tends to have an extremely long line so I recommend riding this thing first thing in the morning that's called rope dropping come straight to it when the park opens another option is to save it for the very last minute at night if you get in line as a minute before the park closes you will get to ride the ride as long as nothing goes awry so if the park closes at 10 and you get in line at 9 59 you are good to go the other option is to purchase the individual lightning Lane for it which is typically 10 to 11 dollars another must do is to watch a show or two shows around Magic Kingdom include Mickey stillhar magic here in Fantasyland Country Bear Jamboree in frontierland the Enchanted TV room and Adventureland monsters and glass floor and Tomorrowland and Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland these shows have air conditioning which is a great plus and they tend to not have very long lines because they can seat a lot of people so I recommend taking the middle of your day out so maybe go see one or two or all of these shows every single one of these is delightful my absolute favorite is Mickey spell heart magic it's a 10 minute show that's 3D and delightful and takes you through some of your favorite Disney movies with Donald's kind of having some trouble you know Donald gets into some some sticky situations in this one all right our next must do is going to be ride something the whole family can enjoy there are a couple of options for this and you could even do all of them Peter Pan's Play It's a small world and Dumbo the flying elephant are the ones I had in mind these are all classic and iconic Disney attractions that are worth doing um similar to some of the other things we've talked about those weights are going to drop a little later in the day like right now Peter Pan's fight it's 80 minutes oh uh but these are certainly must use for most people okay General Magic Kingdom has a lot of must do rides uh which is pretty cool but uh you gotta do at least one of these you can pick it's up to you with that we've made it to Liberty Square our next land um our biggest must do here you might be able to guess is the Haunted Mansion this is a dark ride here in Magic Kingdom that takes you through as you might guess a haunted mansion where there are 999 hunts but room for one more it's an omniver attraction but Haunted Mansion is absolutely a must do very good timing because our next must do it's gonna be Sia parade but you can see Mickey and Minnie coming through Liberty's fair right now during the Festival of fantasy parade this parade usually happens twice a day and it's a total blast I love watching from frontierland or Liberty Square where the crowds are a little lower so fun you have to see a parade if you've never seen one before in Disney World all right we are cruising through frontierland with no new must use but just a reminder that one of the shows Country Bear Jamboree and one of the mountains Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is over here and soon it will be two of the mountains when Tiana's Bayou Adventure opens there's that new Tiana's Foods water tower too with the crown fun fact those stars on the crown the little tiny stars are supposed to be a ray and Evangeline and at last we make our way into Adventure Land for our final masseuse the first of which is going to be right up here on our right and is probably my biggest must do and that is Pirates of the Caribbean Pirates of the Caribbean is a slow-moving boat ride that takes you back to the Golden Age of piracy you'll see characters from the films the films that were based on this ride including Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbosa it's a super fun and relaxing ride with some really fun animatronics and scenes there's smells to it as well absolutely after I Pirates of the Caribbean this is probably my favorite ride in all of Disney World I know the splash mountain is closed so I'm a really really big fan of this one and I think it's certainly a mustu but those are ones that the whole family can enjoy speaking of Pirates Captain Jack's wandering around our next bus too is going to be to hear some jokes and the place to that is gonna be Jungle Cruise jungle cruise is a boat attraction where you are guided through the rivers of the World by a very funny Skipper who tells lots of extremely punny jokes uh there's animatronics and things like that but really the appeal here is kind of the fun theming and the jokes the Skippers tell it is one of the more popular rides in Magic Kingdom and actually if you're going to use Genie Plus in this park and you want to ride jungle cruise we recommend making that your first one to book of the day at 7 A.M because it does tend to fill up faster than the other rides our next must do is going to be swing by Aloha Isle Refreshments for some Dole Whip Aloha aisle refreshments and sunshine tree terrace are both Quick Service locations or counter locations and eventually on the serve up Dole Whip Aloha isle is going to have the classic pineapple as well as some other flavors whereas Sunshine tree terrace is gonna have a bit more of a focus on orange flavored Dole Whip but regardless this is definitely a must do if you've never had Dola before I highly recommend trying it I'm not actually a huge pineapple flavor person but the pineapple dolip is one of my favorite treats you can get in Disney World so you gotta get to live you have to try it it's one of those things that's historically associated with Disney World Super refreshing on a hot day and mostly classic joint flavors are non-dairy so that's awesome whether you can't have dairy or if you just want to maybe eat a little lighter so you don't feel super like back during your Magic Kingdom day regardless you gotta have some double whip and that takes us to our last must do you're going to want to hear this one our final let's do is to sit down for a meal Magic Kingdom does not have the best table service restaurants in Disney Worlds but there are some pretty awesome ones the two best in this park according to our team and our viewers are Liberty Tree Tavern over in Liberty Square and Skipper canteen the jungle cruise themed restaurant that has a rather adventurous menu and some pretty tasty eats table service reservations are a great way to get a break from the heat if you do them for lunch or to like cool off before that final push after dinner Skipper canteen is my favorite restaurant in Magic Kingdom I think it has amazing theming amazing food but I love Liberty Tree Tavern as well other to check out our Crystal Palace if you want to dine with the Winnie the Pooh characters buffet style or Cinderella's Royal table for something a little elevated where you actually dine in Cinderella castle in a character experience that includes the princesses it feels very Regal I think that one is probably a must do as well at least once in your life if you're a big Disney fan and with that we have circled the park and gone through 20 must-dos here in Magic Kingdom if you like this video go ahead and like And subscribe and now go see our 20 musties over in Epcot I'll see you there
