there are a lot of things that make Minecraft such a phenomenal game the building the mining the crafting and so much more go into making this one of my favorite games of all time one of the most popular aspects about the game though has to be the mobs these are either friendly or hostile creatures that bring the Minecraft world alive everything from the pig to the Ender Dragon and the Very iconic mule all count as mobs however some mobs are worse than others so today for my first purely Minecraft video in a long time we're going to be ranking them from worst to best now how exactly are we going to be ranking these mobs well I'm pretty much considering two things here first off is of course usefulness in survival mode does the mob allow you to get any important resource does it have a specific mechanic that makes it helpful in some other way if the answer is yes then it more than likely will end up placing highly on the list the second category though is a bit more controversial and that's just how much I like them up in general based on their design sounds and mechanics I know a lot of people will disagree with me on that one but I guess we'll just have to see how it goes one last note before we start I'm only going to be including mobs of Spawn eggs plus the weather and Ender Dragon sorry to all three illusioner fans out there this video was recorded during the 1.19 update so anything after that has not been added to the game yet so they won't be here if you enjoyed this video then make sure to leave a like subscribe to the channel because I'd really like to make more Minecraft videos in the future but with that said let's jump right into the worst mob I think this might just be the single least controversial thing I've said in any ranking video The Phantom sucks it has essentially zero redeeming qualities and it only exists to make life significantly more annoying to all of you that have been lucky enough to never encounter a phantom before they act as a hostile mob meaning they'll attack the player that's obviously fine the game needs enemies to make it more interesting what makes the Phantom so terrible though is their spawning mechanics instead of just spawning at night their spawning is based on if the player hasn't slept for the past few nights the more nights they don't sleep the more Phantoms will spawn they're also very annoying to fight since they're also flying mobs so if you don't have a bow good luck they also can spawn pretty much anywhere as well so if you're on the surface at night there's pretty much no choice but to fight these things um can't you just sleep in a bed to avoid them yeah sure you can oh unless you need to be out at night to collect resources oh and also sleeping can mess up your spawn point oh and also carrying a bed with you takes up an inventory slot which is very valuable in Minecraft oh and also why is the game encouraging you to not play through its hardest part you are literally punished for not taking the easy way out here which is so third the whole challenge of the Phantom is to never encounter them in the first place so really all they do is act as very annoying inconveniences there's another mob similar to this later on where the goal is not to fight them at all but that is done way better than the Phantom alright but after all that ranting does it at least drop something good no Phantom membranes can be used for a total of two things one is repairing the elytra which may seem good until you remember that mending exists plus by the time you not only have an elytra but an almost broken one you likely already have a mending book so the only real use for Phantom membranes are for Brewing slow falling potions this potion can be helpful but it's very Niche so overall the Phantom is less than worthless it's got absolutely nothing going for it okay well we can finally move away from the undeniable worst mob and start getting into some more that only suck a little 74 the traitor llama okay this one may seem bizarre let me explain when a Wandering trade responses to the world he'll come with two llamas which is cool I guess llamas can be used to get leather so it's nice to slaughter them for it however I need to share a personal story story so as of late I've been playing a lot of Skyblock with my friends which you'll be seeing some footage of in the background throughout the video we needed to get a source of leather because doing pigland barters was a bit slower than what we needed sadly the only way to get cows is to wait for them to randomly spawn which we weren't able to do however we came up with the brilliant idea to make a Wandering traitor llama farm so we set up a pen bred them a bit and the next day the babies were gone yeah so apparently unless they're tamed or on a lead wandering Trader llamas can despawn like Hostile Mobs that is so incredibly stupid yes I know it's so that they despawn with the wandering Trader but they could have at least made it so their offspring to also despawn chickens from chicken jockeys will also despawn but if you breed them their offspring will be perfectly fine so what's the problem with these llamas yeah I know this is an incredibly Petty reason to put a bob so low but you haven't seen the next entry yet 73 the Vex the Vex is summoned by the evoker in order to attack the player uniquely they're able to fly through walls which is a really neat mechanic they're one of the deadliest mobs in the game too because they wield iron swords while that can make them seem annoying to deal with they didn't have one thing that saved them I personally think that Vex was one of the coolest looking mobs in the game I just love the color scheme and the face was perfectly DBS but then they changed the design I'm not sure what the common consensus on this change is but I personally hate it it looks so much worse than the original yeah I know it was done to make them look similar to the alas but that's a dumb reason I'm sorry now they're an annoying and ugly mob so I think they deserve to place this low 72 the Zombie horse Okay so they're only here on a technicality you can't actually get them out all in survival yet but they for some reason still have a spawn egg you may be asking how that doesn't just automatically make them in last place well they simply don't make the game worse like the other three they just kind of exist 71 bats the bat is just an ambient mob for caves I would say I'm overall happy they're in the game since it makes it more lively but considering they're completely useless it's hard to argue they deserve to be higher 70 the ocelot if you're an old school Minecraft player you may be surprised to see this mob so low you used to be able to tame ocelots in order to get cats which are actually really helpful eventually though cats and ocelots were split into two different mobs so what do ocelots do now be annoying yeah they don't drop anything so the only real time you'll ever need to look for one is when you're trying to complete the 2x2 advancement which requires you to breed every breathable mob having a challenging mob for this advancement is kind of cool though and I overall do like their design more than bats so they got a slight Edge 69 ice bear definitely one of the more forgettable mobs in the game they act as a neutral mob in snow biomes attacking the player if they get close to their child again this one is really just an Ambience mob to add some more life to the world it got the edge over the last two though because it actually dropped something it's just caught in Salmon 68 silverfish these guys just act to be minor annoyances and Mountain biomes in the stronghold they are kind of neat to encounter but they don't really do that much unless you somehow get swarmed by a million of them at once what holds them back from being higher though doesn't really have to do with the mob itself it has to do with these the infested blocks I can't be the only one who used to accidentally build with them in Creative right I feel like I used to make that mistake every time I wanted to build with any type of stone and it got pretty annoying for the minor annoyance they somehow managed to cause me in Creative they got pushed down the list a bit 67 llamas I honestly just don't really understand the point of them yeah they can give you leather that's cool but instead of braiding with one piece of wheat like a norm normal animal that llamas decided they wanted to be fat so it takes an entire hay bale to breed them no I guess you can't ride them but you can't direct them so I have to ask again what's the point oh wait wait I forgot they could spit on you yeah llamas are just boring but getting leather is a good use so they aren't the worst 66 the glow squid yeah so I may be just a little upset that the vote was rigged because the iceology sounded awesome oh yeah both the glow squid and Phantom were mobs voted into the game during minecon's mob boats basically all the glow squid do is give you glow ink sacks and their only use at the moment is to make signs and item frames glow I mean the glowing versions look neat but they really could have just made glowstone dust do the same thing 65 The Strider to be honest I've never really used them outside of getting advancements but their use is decent enough they let you walk over lava which can be helpful if you don't have a lytra or Fire Res not the craziest use in the world but a decent Niche 64 the mule I literally don't think I have ever seen a single one of these in game during the over 10 years I've been playing Minecraft 63 donkeys these are basically just worse horses they're significantly slower and can't have armor put on them they can let you put a chest on but I really don't think that's too terribly useful when we could just hold an Ender Chest for a similar effect I did decide to put them over mules though for one simple reason they take less effort to get mules don't spawn naturally so while yes they are a bit faster than donkeys by the time you're breeding horses and donkeys together you could probably have in a later in shulkers anyway 62 the ravager first off the good I find the design to be pretty funny it's also got some pretty dark implications that these may have been villagers considering they have the same face their attack patterns are also not too bad either not being able to receive knockback is a cool gimmick the problem with them though actually has to do with their drop see these guys spawn during raids so you're most likely going to be trying to get items from the other villagers that makes it really annoying when your inventory keeps getting filled up with these guys Saddles since Saddles can't stack either it makes this mob as a whole a bit of a pain 61 puffer fish 60 Cod 59 salmon and 58 tropical fish these all give the underwater biomes a lot of extra life and I really appreciate that unlike many of the other ambient sort of mobs their drops are really helpful as fish can both be a good food source and can also be used to make Dolphins find structures picking them up with buckets is fun too and they let you transport them very easily of the fish the puffer fish is the worst since it could deal damage and isn't really a good food source yes it's good for water breathing potions but those are sort of Niche usage wise tropical fish are my favorite as well they aren't good food sources at all I love that they went through the effort to make a bajillion color compost for them 57 squid the original water mob is probably still the most useful of the passive ones as it gives you ink sacks this way to get black dye which is pretty important as black is a pretty common color when building you can get black dye from watering Traders and wither roses too but I hope we don't have to explain why those are worse also I've always thought the Squid's designs were funny along with them being broken in some way and almost every version of the game 56. Fox okay you all may be mad about this one despite them being basically useless I think they're really cute so I move them up cry about it there's even a white fox for snow biomes they're really rare but I love them both so much oh I guess they are able to attack chicken bye 55 Panda same deal as the foxes but they have more variations which are cool and they also apparently give the player slime balls I had no idea that was a mechanic before making this video so I guess if you want to make the worst slime farm ever you can use pandas 54 the go the main reason you'd want to interact with them is because of the goat horns which are pretty fun to use especially in multiplayer what really puts them up here though has to do with how funny it is to give them specific potion effects in creative mode 53 cave spiders they're sort of just more annoying spiders but I honestly kind of like that they could do everything a spider can but are smaller and can deal poison I honestly do like it quite a bit as an enemy exclusive to mine shaft it gives the structure a much more intense and unique feel I do think once you get good equipment they just become inferior to normal spiders but I do think they act as really strong early game enemies 52 rabbits this is honestly kind of a weird mob they drop three unique items being raw rabbits rabbit hide and rabbit's foot but they're all pretty Niche rabbit is just an okay food source and Rapid stew is just a waste like who would ever make this rabbit hide can be crafted into leather which is nice but that basically just makes this an extra slow way of getting the item finally rabbit's foot can be used to make jumpers potions which are honestly very very Niche I'm not even sure why you would ever really need them in survival one cool thing about rabbits though is how they change based on the biome they even have an exclusive look for if you name the rabbit toast with the name tag however the rabbits are brought down by one major disappointment when they were first added there was a very rare chance that a killer bunny could spawn which would attack the player and actually deal a lot of damage oh my gosh killer buddies this Easter egg was super funny and I wish you could still get it in survival the killer bunny is still in the game as a creative mode exclusive but man it in survival mode would have been great maybe they could have rabbits turn into it if it struck by lightning just an idea 51 parrots they're just undeniably awesome first off take a ride on your shoulder which is super sick secondly they can mimic mob sounds to warn you if a mob's nearby also kind of cool but the absolute best thing they can do is this I genuinely don't know how you could dislike the parent sadly they are technically useless but they're cool so they get a pass 50. the Elder Guardian this is the first of our four bosses on the list while that may make it seem like I dislike this guy I honestly don't they work well as enemies for Ocean Monuments and their gimmick of giving the player mining fatigue is both creative and also makes the structure a lot more interesting sadly though that mining fatigue can also be quite annoying if you accidentally ride past a monument while boating I'm not really sure what they could do to get around this issue but it is something that bothers me a bit if being able to jump scare the player though is kind of funny 49 Snow Golem these guys are just silly I mean look at that though look at that face on top of just being silly they do have some decent uses as well being the easiest way to farm snow as they spawn it wherever they walk they also throw snowballs at things which isn't really useful but it's very silly 48 Ender might trust me I wanted nothing more than to put this low on the list it's basically just a purple silverfish but instead of coming from blocks it rarely spawns when you use an ender pearl however it does have one massive use that makes it actually pretty important Enderman hate endermites for whatever reason and will thus run after them to kill any nearby that means he can use endermites to make really efficient Enderman Farms which are fantastic for XP this is a legitimately very good use so they had to be here on the list even if they look stupid and are annoying to get 47 the drown the first of many zombie variants and I personally think the gap between the drowned and the others is pretty big these will spawn underwater and act as decent ways to make those biomes a bit more exciting the most important thing about drowns though are their drops being copper ingots Nautilus shells and the big one tridents getting a trident in job Edition though is one of the most excruciating processes in the game for some reason drowns rare rarely spawn in Java only really spawning in Ocean ruins on top of that only drowns holding tridents can drop them that means without looting three only one in 188 drowns will drop a trident so while the drop is quite useful the process being as annoying as it is makes me strongly dislike this mob 46 Turtles similar to drowns they can also give the players some pretty valuable items but they take a while to get in this case the items we want from them are scoots and turtle eggs in order to get scoots we have to breed Turtles and wait for the babies to both hatch and grow up before we get one scoot out of the five we need for a helmet this process isn't as painful as the one for tridents though so I don't dislike Turtles as much oh wait how could I forget the turtle show could be used to make the turtle Master potion the most uh useful potion in the game 45 hoglin these guys just act as good ways to get food in the nether I also like how they still try to attack the player which makes the nether even more dangerous 44 zoglin this is pretty much just a purely Easter egg mob that honestly makes it pretty cool in order to find one you have to bring a hoglin into the Overworld where it'll then transform this also gives the monster's hunted advancement some extra challenge you're required to kill them 43 pigland brute and 42 Vindicator these are both ax wielding mobs that are used to make bastions or raids more dangerous I personally think they're both the most dangerous mob out of their respective groups making them pretty good mini bosses The Vindicator does get to place a bit higher though for two main reasons first off its drops are better allowing you to get some extra emeralds secondly if you name a Vindicator Johnny it'll actually become hostile to literally every mob in the game which is both a neat little Easter egg and also pretty helpful for some Niche Farm types 41 Olay while still a bit more Niche than I would have liked I'd say this is our first good mob to come from the mob vote you could basically give them an item and they'll go out and try to find more of that item to bring back to the player this is only really helpful for sorting non-stackable items but that's still a pretty good use I do also find it interesting that once you give them an item you can't kill them no matter what you try they're just gonna ignore you completely which is honestly kind of intimidating 41 Axolotl these guys can act as little underwater pets but you can tame by just putting them in a bucket they can even help you attack some underwater mobs which is a neat gimmick they also come in a ton of different variations the blue variant only has a 1 and 1 200 chance of spawning making it very valuable also fun fact based on the Pokemon Mudkip which is pretty neat 39 tadpole they're just baby frogs so 38 frogs I honestly really like their Design coming in three different colors based on the biome you find them in their main use is being able to get the three frog lights which are one of my favorite looking light sources the method of getting them though is really bizarre what you have to do is bring frogs into The Nether and then have them eat magma cues where they will then drop a Frog Light based on the Frog's color while this is super random that's honestly what makes me love frogs frog life Farms are such a specific and odd thing to build that I just can't help but like it the more unique things to build the better in my book 37 bees okay I'm gonna be honest I still have no clue how these guys work to this day pretty much ever since 1.14 my entire time playing Minecraft has been on multiplayer world so I have Oysters let my friends deal with them I do know that they're so source of Honey blocks one of the most important components of redstone contraptions as they're able to stick to blocks but they can't stick to slime blocks 36 wandering traitor now I know that these have got a pretty bad reputation for being mostly useless and while that is certainly understandable for a normal survival world do you remember how earlier in this video I said I've been playing a lot of Skyblock well in that game mode the wandering Traders are essential in getting a large majority of different items more specifically the different wood types since they can trade all of the saplings yeah it may not be fair to put them high up because of Skyblock but they are genuinely very helpful there so it felt wrong to bring them lower minor criticism though why can't they trade cocoa beans or bamboo that actually make them pretty useful in survival mode since jungles can be pretty annoying to find those trades fit their gimmicks so I really think they should be able to trade them 35 which these are definitely the rarest of the basic nighttime mobs which I think is pretty fair since they may also be the scariest they attack using potions which are extremely deadly regardless of the armor you have I do like having to challenge the spruce up the game though and they're also able to drop some pretty decent items like Redstone and glowstone 34 of the Magma Cube these guys have always been one of my favorite designs in the game I know they may seem stupid considering it's literally just a cube but the way it hops around in different segments is super cool they could have just made it hop the same way as slime does but this small difference makes me love them way more than I would have otherwise magma cubes will also split to a smaller size upon death until they're at their smallest this has always been a really cool gimmick and once again makes this a super interesting mob to fight also fun fact with commands you can actually create magma cubes and slimes that are much larger than normally possible you could do the same thing for Phantoms though I'm not really sure why considering they don't change size but whatever I guess the most important thing about magma cubes is their drop being Magma Cream while not as helpful as slime balls these aren't good for making magma blocks and Fire Resistance potions which are pretty important 33 the pig of Minecraft 4 classic passive mobs the pig is probably the worst but that doesn't mean it's bad it's a really good source of food and you can even ride though sadly both of those aspects are done better by other mobs but the pig's iconic City definitely helped it rise the ranks oh also it has this horrific Me costume to smash ultimate I just thought I'd mention that 32 the horse this one was really difficult for me to rank they're obviously used to right across the world and they could do a pretty good job at that seeing as they can move pretty quickly but lighters are better you only ever really use horses at the start of the game and even then it's not that hard to get an elytra plus horses and water do not mix at all making any small River an annoyingly tedious obstacle to get around horses are still a pretty cool mob conceptually it's just that they don't really have a place to serve in Minecraft anymore you know what's better than a horse though that wasn't supposed to happen 31 the skeleton horse unlike the Zombie horse from before the skeleton horse can actually spawn in the game it's sponsoring thunderstorms where a trapped horse will be set and if the player goes near it four skeleton Horsemen will appear this is one of the absolute coolest mob Concepts in the entire game which carried this a lot in the ranking while they sadly can't have horse armor nor are they as fast as a horse can be skeleton horses can actually be ridden underwater which I think is a massive Advantage I'm just a pretty big fan of everything about this mob 30 the cat okay last two mobile mob for a while I promise but cats are incredibly useful for whatever reason both Phantoms and more importantly creepers are terrified of cats meaning they'll run away from them if they're nearby this is helpful for not only Defending Your Base but also constructing creeper Farms which are very helpful especially late game cats also come in several different colors and there's even a pretty neat advancement for trying to tame them all 29 the spider one of the classic Minecraft Hostile Mobs these guys are the main source of string which is a valuable Resource as it could be used to craft bows wool and a number of other things on top of that spiders are one of the mobs to have a spawner making farms for them relatively simple to make what holds them back though it's just how annoying they could be to deal with as they're much bigger than the other default mobs and they can climb walls still the drops are really good and they're pretty iconic so it would have been wrong to not place them highly 28 Dolphins the Dolphins have two really good uses that put us so far above most of the other underwater mobs first off if you feed a dolphin a fish it will actually lead you to an underwater structure which is super helpful as those can give you really good resources including treasure maps the other thing they can do is affect anyone nearby with dolphin's Grace effect making them very quick underwater my favorite thing about this though has to be this setup where you can combine dolphin's Grace with depth Strider and soul speed to make this stupid fast platform to run on yes I did steal this from Etho and it's honestly the reason I put the dolphin so high on this list 27 the warden yes its drops suck we all know that but it's just super cool this is our second boss mob and acts as a major obstacle in the ancient cities it can't see so it will only attack the player if it hears them and you definitely do not want that to happen their attacks are so powerful that you're pretty much going to die if you anger it even if you have protection for another right armor so it adds a really neat gameplay gimmick to the ancient cities where you have to try and be as quiet is possible while looting them as to not alert the warden this is the mob I was talking about that actually does a fantastic job making you not want to fight them when I was talking about the Phantom earlier its gameplay is actually interesting and a fun challenge this is how you make a mob you aren't supposed to encounter the deep dark is one of my favorite finds in the game due to just how genuinely terrifying it is and that's all because of the warden I can't really place it any higher since it's not technically useful to players in survival but it'd be wrong to place it low on the list 26. the chicken this is one of the other classic passive mobs but it's a bit more useful than pigs on top of chicken being a solid food source they can also draw feathers and lay eggs feathers are good for crafting things like arrows and eggs are great for spawning more chickens since they could be launched from dispensers too that means we can have an automatic cooked chicken farm being a pretty solid food source 25 the cow these guys are basically just upgraded pigs snake is the same as pork chop food wise but they also drop leather which I've mentioned a lot in this video as it's a pretty important resource on top of that they can also give you milk which is good for getting rid of potion effects along with crafting cake you know what's better than a cow though 24 the Mooshroom these actors exactly like cows but are only found on mushroom islands and can give the player mushroom stew if milked with a bowl there's also a brown variant which can be rarely gotten from breeding or by striking a mushroom with lightning I also just find the concept to be pretty cool overall they did a great job on this thing 23 she easily the best of the classic four the Sheep are able to give the player wool which is a very helpful resource for crafting and building in general sheep could also be dyed 16 different colors one for each type of wool making them easy to farm okay technically you can also name them Jeb underscore or get a rainbow sheep but that doesn't count very cool Easter egg though 22. slime once again another simple Cube that I just really like the design of they act very similar to Magma Cube so these guys have corresponded swamps and slime chunks slime balls are also one of the most crucial components in Redstone as they're used to craft both sticky pistons and slime blocks I did sadly have to bring the Slime down though because of one annoying thing try making a super flat world and they spawn literally everywhere I know you could turn off mob spawning but it's still a minor annoyance how often they spawn 21 the guardian we have arrived at our final underwater mob being the main enemy to spawn in Ocean Monuments they act as a great way to get all the prismarine materials their attacks are also super unique because they shoot out a beam from their eye this makes for a fun fight against them as you have to try and hide from their beam before it's too late my favorite part about them though is making a farm it's a long process of needing to drain out an entire ocean Monument but it's more than worth it in the end 20 the husk and while we're at it's 19 the Stray these are both biome variations of the zombie and skeleton respectively I think it's really cool that they went through the effort to make these biome exclusive mobs since it really spruces up the world as a whole they don't act too much different from their counterparts the husk gives the hunger effect and the Stray gives slowness but they are cool additions regardless plus they've always really liked how the Stray looks 18. the ender dragon as the main boss of Minecraft I think it does a phenomenal job it's always great to go and fight it with a bunch of friends the fight involves having to destroy end crystals in order to stop that or you could do that too one thing I like about the dragon is the fact that it could just launch you into the sky and making the possibility of death always present upon killing the dragon you aren't given too much just a lot of XP the dragon egg and a way out of the end sadly the dragon egg only appears the first time you fight the dragon though that does make it pretty special the main reason you'd want to kill the dragon in my experience is to open up more game ways to the outer end Islands which is pretty helpful since that's how you get a light dress sugar boxes and so on it may not be the most hopeful use but that's not really the point it's meant to be the final boss and as it is I think it does a fantastic job 17. a voker killing one of these guys will give you a totem of undying which is one of the most powerful items in the game so will instantly revive you if you lose all your hearts also it drives me crazy watching any sort of Hardcore Minecraft video and they aren't holding a totem the way the evoker attacks is also pretty interesting as they summon vexes and Jaws to snap up from the ground they're probably the easiest Pillager to defeat in isolation but in context of a raid they can be quite dangerous speaking of a raid 16 the pillagers despite being the most recent illager I would say they're the main one as they're the ones you need to kill in order to get bad Omen bad Omen is of course Very powerful as it's what causes raids to happen in the first place those are very important for getting items like emeralds and of course toadons and may be sort of cheating to put these as the highest villager considering they're only really here because they give you access to the others but I think it's fair enough 15. The Blaze these are one of the most important mobs in the game as they're the only ones to drop blaze rods which are required to make Eyes of Ender defeat the game they also drop some of the most XP out of any mob making their spawners excellent places for an XP far I've also always really liked their design it's very different from anything else in the game they're quite dangerous since they can set the player on fire and you can't easily Place water in the nether yes I know you could put water in cauldrons in the nether calm down nerds but yeah I like pretty much everything about blazes 14. ghast while gas tears aren't nearly as useful as blazewell odds I do think I have to give the edge to gas in terms of the ranking they are one of the most terrifying mobs in the game their cries always fill the nether making it impossible to tell when One's Gonna strike their Fireballs can very easily knock the player into lava if they aren't careful however if the player is paying attention they can actually knock the fireball back at the gas to kill them which is one of the most fun things to do in the game you even get an advancement for it being one of my personal favorites the other gas advancement is great as well requiring you to bring the gas into the Overworld and then kill it the gas tears themselves are also decently helpful as they can be used to make regen potions and more importantly and crystals to respawn the dragon or you can also try using them in combat 13 wolf it's a dog what else could you want okay dog bias aside there are some legitimately good uses for these guys they can help you attack any mob and they also Target skeletons by default making them helpful for skeleton XD making them hopeful for skeleton Farms is tamed wolves killing skeletons will also give the player XP okay fine the wolf isn't the most useful mod in the game but they're cute give me a break 12. skeleton these are one of the main mobs you'll be fighting when it turns night their Bose movement can make them somewhat challenging to deal with early game I'm a big fan of basic Minecraft mobs in general role so they got to place quite highly here the main thing about skeletons is of course the fact that they drop bones and arrows and since they have a spawner they're pretty easy to farm while I do like the normal skeletons a lot I do have to say I like our next entry here a little bit more 11. the wither skeletons these guys will drop bones but they also have unique drops such as coal and of course weather skeleton skulls they're also much more intimidating than normal skeletons as they can give the player the Wither effect to sort of balance that and make them more unique though the Wither Skeleton is half a block taller than normal ones that makes fighting them a lot easier as you can run under ceilings they can't but you have to be prepared to set those ceilings up which once again makes fighting them have a special track 10 the Wither kicking off our top 10 we have the final boss on the list first off its design is fantastic it's probably my favorite out of any mob in the entire game the three heads look perfectly ominous in the body connecting them is great too as for the actual fight the Wither will focus on shooting out skulls toward the player which can give them the Wither effect they're also able to destroy blocks around them which even includes obsidian which makes the boss all the more intimidating I will say though I do wish this boss was a bit harder as he can be surprisingly easy to defeat especially if you do it underground with without any way for it to escape wait wait I'm talking about the Java one the Bedrock one is cracked for no reason do not make that one harder I repeat that thing does not need to be made harder outside of the fight itself the items you get from the Wither are also quite useful first is of course the nether star which are super helpful is they can make beacons players can also give the player with their roses if it kills a mob during the fight whether roses affect nearby Mobs with the Wither effect which can be fairly helpful for some certain Farm designs overall this is a fantastic boss that is definitely worth the fight had they made him a bit harder and uncheasable I think he may have been able to place higher but top 10 is still pretty solid 9 the piglet being the brand new face of the nether I think the piglens were a fantastic addition they make gold way more useful than it was before us they won't attack anyone wearing gold armor piglets will also barter for gold ingots and can give the player several different useful items some of which weren't possible to farm before them it's kind of nice to have a mob in the nether that's still dangerous but can be mostly avoided if the right precautions are taken the ACT is a great way to spruce up the whole dimension and especially their home to bastions I also think it was good to make them turn aggro at you if you open chest or mine gold as it makes Bastion still pretty stressful to go through speaking of gold though how are we gonna get the gold we need to barter well that's where our next mob comes in number eight the zombified piglet these are one of the most terrifying mobs in the game is if you make them mad every zombified piglet in the nether is going to turn aggro towards you they're very fast and the gold swords make them deal a ton of damage double fine piglets are one of the most common mobs throughout the nether which is what adds the extra bit of stress as there's almost always several nearby you never know when you might accidentally hit one and cause the whole dimension to turn against you zombified piglet are also very useful for both XP and gold farms for them function really well so it's one of the best Farms to construct in any given world since angry zombified piglet count is being hit by the player they'll drop XP upon death overall both of these mobs are the faces of the Nether and they're the reason the dimension is as good as it is 7. the shulker this is one of my favorite design mobs in the entire game they'll shoot out projectiles that will home in towards the player the player can simply hit them to destroy it but if they do get hit then the player will be given the levitation effect which can both help the player but also put them in a really bad spot this is such an interesting Dynamic for an attack and makes me love the shrokers even more on top of that their drops are also some of the most valuable in the game being the shulker shelves these are used to craft shulker boxes which are very important items like games that let you carry a chest worth of stuff and only one inventory slot all of that was enough to make it Place very highly on the list but what really pushed it over the edge was the unique way they can be farm for whatever reason if a shulker shoots itself there's a chance it'll duplicate there's nothing else like that in the game at all which makes these guys even more special than they already were 6. the Enderman being one of the two mobs to make it in as a playable skin in Smash ultimate is obviously one of the most iconic mobs in the game for the most part they will be completely harmless however if you look them in the eyes they will shake violently and as soon as you look away they'll teleport towards you and run very quickly to kill you they are also very strong making them one of the most intimidating mobs in the game they do have a few weaknesses though such as not being able to go in water and the fact that they're three blocks tall but they could still be terrifying to deal with regardless interestingly they're the only mob they can spawn in all three dimensions so there's really no escaping them if you manage to kill the Enderman then you'll be able to get ender pearls which not only let the player teleports but are also required to make Eyes of Ender to beat the game add-on that Enderman Farms are one of the absolute best friend XP and we have a mob easily deserving of being high up on the list 5. the zombie this being your other Smash Bros mob they're probably the most basic enemy in the entire game they're very simple they spawn at night attack the player and burn in the sun while that may seem like the end on the surface the zombies have a lot of interesting mechanics below the surface that make them worth placing this High baby zombies can also spawn being much faster and scarier versions of normal zombies zombies will also try and attack villagers which can actually be used to the player's Advantage as a cured villager will give the player much better trades zombies also drop some pretty good stuff too rotten flesh is a decent drop for getting emeralds from villagers iron ingots are obviously grades and carrots and potatoes are good for starting Farms zombies can even be turned into drowns to let the player get those drops as well since zombies are also another spot or mob they're fairly easy to farm but out of everything the single most important thing that brings zombies up this high on the list is that they say for the zombie villager this is the exact same thing as the zombie but they can be cured by using a golden apple and weakness potion that gives the player easy access to not only villagers but also good traits as well and yes these two mobs have different spawn eggs so they had to be separate three the creeper the face of Minecraft themselves of course had a place high on the list I promise I'm not just saying that because they're iconic though yes that obviously helps but they're iconic for a reason as well instead of attacking the player normally the creeper will kill the player by exploding themselves this deals a massive amount of damage being a one-hit KO in most cases add on the fact that creepers are completely silent until they start hissing and you have what might just be the single most terrifying mob in the game possibly even more than the warden the creepers had the advantage of spawning literally anywhere it's dark which forces the player to constantly watch their back or else risk their entire inventory these explosions also damage the environment as well making them perfect foils for a game all about building stuff that's just looking at the creepers from a design perspective they're also very helpful for the player if they're able to kill them gunpowder is one of the most useful resources as they can not only make TNT but also fireworks which are basically required late game in order to fly with the elytra creepers also have several Easter egg drops attached to them as well if you manage to get a skeleton to kill a creeper it'll drop a random music disc sadly it can't be either pigstep or other side the two best ones but it could be anything else okay well except for five but that's not really good my favorite creeper Easter egg item though has to do what happens when they get struck by lightning this will cause the creeper to become a charge creeper making their already deadly explosion much more so but more importantly if the creeper kills a zombie skeleton or another creeper it will actually make them drop their heads mob heads are one of my favorite item types in the game so I was super happy when this was added I honestly really hope they add heads for other mobs in the future these heads are the only reason you would ever really want to get a trident and the creeper is the reason it's possible so for being super iconic and also incredibly useful I think it's pretty fair for the creeper to land in the top three two the Iron Golem yeah iron Farms are the best farm in the game iron ingots are one of the single most valuable resources as they're used in just about a billion crafting recipes since Iron Golems drop iron it allows us to have an easy way to farm the resource if you somehow calculated the amount of time I spent AFK at farms and all of my years of playing Minecraft I guarantee you iron Farms have more time spent at them than any other Farm can buy while it may seem cheap to put them so high just because of that I will add on that I do legitimately like your design in general mechanics they spot in villages to protect them from mobs they will launch anything they can into the sky that may threaten The Village which is honestly really funny they're also super dangerous to fight against as they will gladly do the same to you unless you yourself built the golo but yeah iron Farms are definitely the main reason these guys are so high but what makes iron Farms even work well for that you'll need what I believe to be the best mob in Minecraft number one the Villager I'm sure most of you are expecting this choice but I genuinely don't see how they can't be number one first off let's start with their design I have always loved how they look the massive noses and foreheads the crossed arms and even more recently the new biome designs based on where the Villager will spawned the noise the villagers make are also hilarious not quite as good as the zombie bruh but the strange noises that come from these guys are fantastic that's just the aesthetic stuff though villagers are extremely useful in game first off they can be used to make iron Farms like I said but the main reason you'd want villagers is for trading there are a ton of different villager types ranging from Farmers to Librarians to the incredibly useful leather workers these treats can give the player some of the most useful items in the game Farmers give the player easy access to golden carrots the best food source in the game armorers weaponsmiths and toolsmiths allow the player to trade iron ingots for emeralds which is very powerful after constructing an iron farm oh and Librarians could trade just about every enchantment book in the game making this by far the best method to get mending they can't trade Soul speed though so what's even the point but yeah for having a fantastic design along with being probably the most useful mobs in the game I think it's fair to call the villagers the best mob in Minecraft but anyways that's it for this video were you all confused because I didn't say Mario a single time in this video up until this point let me know in the comments I really love talking about Minecraft and would love to make more videos on it I'm not really sure how well this video is going to do considering I haven't made a Minecraft video for years now but I hope you all do enjoy it anyway but anyways dry bones for Smash and I'll see you guys next time [Music] foreign
