hey welcome back to popcorn in bed i'm cassie and i'm watching the first indiana jones movie so i actually feel bad that i've never seen this movie because i've always known that it's been one of my dad's favorites i've just never seen it but i love the disneyland ride and i know harrison ford is in it and i know the theme song didn't it nope no oh my gosh dad no okay maybe i don't know the things i can like hear it five hours later right that's from the ride okay so that's all i really know and i think it's like you know he's a cowboy safari guy adventure man that's really all i know about it i think it's like national treasure or something with harry support we shall see but i'm excited to watch it i know people love this movie and my dad loves it so that will make it a little bit more fun and nostalgic for me let's get started with readers of the lost ark i lost it again okay here we go [Music] [Music] oh this is by steven spielberg too he has done a lot of the movies that [Music] that means something good right [Applause] oh my gosh oh that was disturbing [Music] looks like a very tiny plane who's this guy let me just take off my shirt come on the doc he's just been out of the plate i don't know i'm making this up as i go [Music] he's kind of a cowboy [Music] ah who knew archaeologists were such badays [Music] so he's driving the truck with the ark right oh but there's still truck behind him [Music] oh my gosh why is anyone driving on a cliff like that his smile he's so proud of himself like why why are they all still going [Music] oh he got shot oh that's gotta hurt oh my gosh stop oh my gosh no way did harrison do all his own stunts right back at ya get out of my truck like he's got the ark now so flip a huey [Music] so they don't want they're on his team now [Applause] just smashes his watermelon mr katanga these are my friends they are my family my cabin is theirs should we trust him i am already missing you that is for fire that is for your children and this is for you oh solo [Music] he's amazing they did it they're going back something tells me they're not in the clear quite yet wow well god damn it anywhere doesn't it hurt here this is sweet [Music] we never seem to get a break do we he just falls asleep after their kiss what the heck i would be deeply offended uh oh what is it engines have stopped moving with check what's wait did he sneak onto the other ship find him where [Music] how in the world [Laughter] at least still okay so now they have to do some kind of ritual with the ark oh there's the creepo hello jones is that a rocket launcher jones i'm gonna blow up the acronym your persistent surprises even me dr jones dr jones no sorry surely you don't think you can escape from this island all i want is the girl if we refuse then your fuhrer has no prize okay jones he knows he won't do it he can't destroy history like that indiana this is history do as you will oh no now they're just prisoners [Laughter] why is that guy laughing what was supposed to be in there the commandments or whatever [Music] what's happening he looked at it shut your eyes what is that some kind of ghost [Music] oh my gosh uh that was very gruesome where is the ark the ark is somewhere very safe i don't know what they've got there well i know what i've got here [Music] so they're not gonna try to use it or anything or research it it's just gonna go in a warehouse christmas lead into number two that movie was so fun i wasn't expecting like the comedy like comic book fighting like i love the romance i loved that marion was like a little spitfire not like your classic damsel in distress and holy crap harrison ford was this hunky archaeologist what they call him pursuer of ancient artifacts or something parts of it were very crazy like the face melting head exploding booby traps but i don't know it had a little bit of everything and it was just so fun i feel like seeing this as a kid especially like in the theaters at this time would have been like epic yeah i really enjoyed it i want to watch the second harrison ford was so good i feel like it reminded me a little bit of back to the future not like the story line but the the style and the little comedy bits that were thrown in there with the action and the romance i just really was entertained and thought it was great i wasn't sure if i was gonna watch all three of them depending on how much i loved this one um but i really want to now actually i think there might be four i don't know i'll have to look that up but i'm kind of in love with harrison
