Racecar Graveyard (S7E16)

[Music] so when does the whole graveyard start when was the first part late probably around two thousand five or six I'm guessing that's about time the cupcake car came along and so we started keeping instead of chopping them up cupcake used to work out here at the farm and he thought he could drive a racecar all great yard get started whose idea was it part of the craft Dale's idea we start we've talked about the muscle cars out here making a whole graveyard with us like an oak tree like this one coming up here getting the engine and our whole listing is hanging the engine from the limb like the old cheap treat mechanics used to do and park a muscle car and then be a cool idea but everyone just started doing the tractor race car code we've got plenty of those [Music] take me through how you acquire one of these because normally the crew chiefs or shop foreman is a tech spell or called L and asked if he wants card and he'll put me on the text so you need to pick this card and then we just end up going to the shop and get me and now loaded up with the forklift there and once go it on a flat trailer and bring it to the farm normally take it to the farm we'll unload it at Clarke shop and put it on this old Chevrolet dump truck this is actually a dump truck we're going to use it the redneck way here sometimes little things slide right off sometimes it's ooh come on when one and done yeah one and die that's it no second chances is we really don't pick out a spot for the car it's just when we take it up with the truck or the Bobcat is we put place it we just find the spot there it is torian's up 24 car right here - rainbow car come up with Big Daddy's fish cam and more [Music] final resting place for the 24 car here 30 moves great yards [Music] [Applause] [Music] please

I love the lack of science to it. But considering the material they're working with...it's not like an extra bump's going to hurt it.

I wonder how far out of the way the Montoya jet dryer car is. Dale and JRM have been very good about keeping their word to Chip about not photographing it, far as I've seen. (I don't think they'd do it on purpose, but people are human.)
