Putting Stone On The New Road And A Free Day Helper

SO waiting on Stone first thing this morning so I got all this rolled in yesterday before I left nice little curvy Road through the woods I think that's going to uh that's going to look real good so going to start spreading Stone right here work my way all the way down there to the back uh we're eventually going to do another little path straight across to that one so he has access to come over here to use the dumpster just two or three loads through here to build a little path and then a nice little dumpster pad right there that he's going to build a little privacy block around but what I'm thinking is have it where the trash truck can come into the road right here and then back into that path and then be able to go straight up to the dumpster to dump it and then pull straight out the gate is kind of my plan for that or either come in that gate and then come over here straight to the dumpster but we'll figure that out once this is kind of put in and we kind of see how everything's laying out and first load of the day told them they can just start spreading right there at the front of the truck I think I just have two trucks today and uh make a circle all the way around [Music] this stuff should spread pretty good it's pretty dry from this Quarry [Music] that'll work so while they're up there spreading Stone I think I just got two trucks today they can handle that for a while and I'll run back up there and knock it down with the motor grader I'm going to take the excavator and load up a little bit more brush and work on clearing some more of this easement down here through the woods and uh hauling that over there to the burn Pile in between going up there and knocking down load the stone with the motor grader thank you [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] they got some more Stone put down they missed to start by about 10 feet but that's a lot better than the 50 Feet where the stone ended so that works out pretty good I'm gonna jump on The Grater back down there and uh roast some of this back this way and uh see uh see how it's laying in here I think uh I think this thickness right here this is about shooting for about five inches I think this is layer over top of it get the thickness just right oh yeah here comes truck number two [Music] [Applause] yeah I like the way that's turning out should be load number seven even cleared all the tree branches out so they could spread easily looking out for us [Music] it makes my life a lot easier when they can spread [Applause] about four passes with the motor grader and it's where it needs to be [Music] foreign [Music] right here spread out I'm going to take the grater blade it in real quick that'll be all the stone for the road right here it's turned out really nice it needs it to rain on it one time so I can roll it in and it'll pack real good but I'm sure it'll do that because it's got a rain before I can burn all these piles and then I'm gonna head back up there and load out a little bit more brush to finish out this afternoon so one right there we have a new intern today so we are uh teaching them the fundamentals of equipment longevity yep [Music] there's one yeah always grease your machine always grease your machines or you'll end up with what if it was an excavator it would be a sloppy hoe this is a this is a bulldozer so we'd have a sloppy blade clever all right and come around to this side they're all over here [Music] [Music] there you go so it's very nice with the air powered one it doesn't take long at all for it to uh for the grease to come out I got to get a screwdriver for the one down there [Music] looks like a state job over here [Music] let's undo the paper towel okay [Music] you didn't break the end of my grease gun did you that's why we can't have nice things [Music] I've got two take this tree down here side at first it knows what's going to happen is it's going to uproot it so it's going to follow me [Music] [Music] thank you there we go now that Hazard is removed [Music] being a white oak it was still pretty solid but you got to watch out for those top ranges because what will happen is you go and bump them and they'll uh it's awful break out and fall back down on top of it you got to be careful about that [Music] [Music] so really good progress for today got all the stone for the road in up there managed to get everything cleared from the truck back there and hauled out I've had to come down here in the morning with the chainsaw those are hickory trees very difficult to break up so I'll have to use the chainsaw and cut those up got another load of brush to uh haul over there to the burn pile and uh we're gonna call it a day come back tomorrow and get back to it you ready you ready to go home now I'm sorry this is only the first load you've hauled and it's 4 30 so let's at least get this dumped out and then we can then we'll discuss it
