you [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right I'm on this project here today the plan is to put in a new driveway so it's going right here so there was already someone else in here about a month ago doing tree work and this guy did a really nice job he cut down a bunch of trees and cleaned up everything but then left all the logs and nice clean piles so there's a pile of sawmill stuff right there and then there's a couple piles of hardwood so my job is to take out all these stumps coming up through here and the driveway goes up a hill right here so I got to cut this in at a little bit of an angle they were gonna cut this big tree down here but then decided to leave it so we're gonna go to the left of it so I'll kind of have to fill in this area right here and dig that down and then we're coming up through here and then ending the driveway up here and then the build site is gonna be just past this area here so my plan for me right now is to get all these stumps out of here we're gonna lose the stumps as a hole in the woods over there to lose them in and then I'm gonna bring in some gravel the surface this road especially that area right in front of the machine there because that could be muddy all right well let's get to work on these stumps [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you [Music] [Music] you [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so the stage I'm at right now I'm ready to start putting in stone so I got a load of my truck ready right there and I got Road fabric now we weren't gonna use Road fabric here at first but one it's been raining a lot but the other thing that's making me want to use it now is usually this whole area is all rock but the ground here there's not a rock in it it's just pure dirt kind of clay mud so the purpose of the road fabric it keeps the stone from sinking into the mud and ultimately it does help a lot especially in muddy areas I think here it will save this guy a ton on stone all right so let's start right here the plan is to scrape this down right on the edge of the road that way there's a little bit of stone they're not just mud and roll out some fabric and then get the stone on [Music] you [Applause] so this road fabric let's just look at it quick so it's kind of like a tarp material now this isn't to keep weeds down and it doesn't stop water water still goes right through this far as pricing I just picked this up they didn't have any residential this was commercial so this roll is twelve and a half foot wide by three hundred sixty feet long and after tax it was five hundred thirty-five dollars the residential stuff is a just over a dollar foot so it's a bigger role for less money you know sometimes spend an extra on material is worth it you know this is a pretty strong material here [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] alright the core is closed for the day so that's as far as I got so let's finish up digging out these stumps and then move this pile of stumps where they're gonna stay [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] all right so I got all the stumps out and I just finished smoothing out this area so now I want to deal with this pile of stumps all right so luckily this property has this big hole in the woods here so that's a perfect place to lose some stumps [Music] [Music] you [Music] and I just had a track come off over here see if I can fix it okay so you can see it's only off on the front it was off there too but I got it back on but see if I'm kind of limited on space in here too [Music] alright I finally got it that's not the nicest way to do it to the machine but [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you [Music] you [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] hey your containers here why you [Laughter] well I enjoy it you can guess I'm not gonna make it very far you [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Paul you know I run this [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] if you can just put the front here that's it I mean I'll take it as far back as you want to get it yeah if I can get it back further like but I mean it's up here I'm amazed [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] perfect all right I mean that's like it just perfect perfect all right [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] you alright man I guess I should have backed up the hill like I had been doing oh well I mean the ground is like pretty hard too but this thing is just so heavy you think sinks alright let's say I fix this [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you for coming help me okay [Music] all right so I got that area looking good again so the truck was able to drive up here forward but I couldn't turn it around but I got a plan for the next load because I can't draw I can't back up this almost I almost could if that was packed down better I would be able to but let's try something here [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right so I just finished up putting in this driveway so let's go check it out all right so this is good nice and wide especially what you know when you're going up hills and have turns and stuff it's always nice to be wider but you know I brought in this this was four inch - this gravel so this could always be you know in the future when you're resurfaced in it maybe next year I load of something smaller I could go on it but when since I tracked it and with that machine it's pretty smooth so this is kind of the area where it starts to flatten out at the top of that hill well kindness so this area here with these marks this is kind of marked out as the primary septic system a potential one let's see this is good this is what the guy wanted so now he's got a driveway coming in here and now if this shipping container he's got it a little bit of storage but this property it doesn't stop at this wall he's got ten acres here and it goes way back further and he's not totally sure where he wants to put the house yet because there are a bunch of potential building sites here so now he's at least I'm at least now he can drive into the property he's not parking on the road and he's got some time to think about it and figure out what he wants to do right Levi so here's that shipping container guy got a really good deal on that so it was like 2,200 bucks Levi Levi come here all right well we're all done here let's go machines on the trailer and it's going straight to another job [Music] [Music] [Music]

This is the guy that built the shipping container castle I think. It's a solid channel, he does some janky shit sometimes but overall quality work.

That's no kid. That's Andrew. Spend some time watching his videos. He can do anything it seems. He is currently my favorite person to watch on youtube.

My uncle - a farmer - used to do something like that to start a tractor. He had two tractors, but one had a bad battery so it wouldn't start and he was too cheap to buy a new battery. He would always park the bad battery tractor in an open area and when he needed to use it he would pull start it with the other tractor - by himself. He'd hook up with a long chain, and set the pulled tractor ready to start in low gear. Then he'd hop on the front tractor and pull until the rear tractor started, and it was in gear and running so it's now moving slowly with no operator. He'd stop the pulling tractor and run back to the pulled tractor and stop it.

Awesome to see an Andrew video here. Been following him for a long time, the jetski repair one is awesome. That thing should have been junked.

Reading the comments, I get the idea that this guy knows what he's doing pretty well, and that excavator was moving super slow. But man, watching him stepping on and around a moving track made me nervous.

STRAP IN BOYS, IT'S CAMARATA TIME!

The artisan/slow-TV/fixing/digging/building hole of Youtube goes pretty deep, and is very satisfying. It's all I watch nowadays.
