Project Crashing vs Fast Tracking?

hi there and welcome to another YouTube video on my channel alright so for this project crashing and what is was it for slacking before I compare the two is not that either or both approach are enforced when the project schedule is messed up you are already risking the project now to the concepts both are a form of schedule compression technique where you want to catch up on the timelines the project manager accepts let something unexpected happened and we need to fix the she do so what happens when the project manager walks in and says hey I'm crashing the project guys that basically means manager is telling the team that more resources will be made available on the project and that would add cost to the project text on what if the project manager walks in and says sorry dude I decide to foster the project aking is the process of performing activities in parallel using the existing project resources looking at the critical path of the project shuffling and realignment of activities will be required to allow for parallel processing so tasks which were planned to be performed sequentially will now be done in parallel here's the catch guys I have worked in IT industry for many years and not I have seen neither of these being used for schedule compression instead the behind the scene logical forward time has adopted project resources would be of to work forex travels on weekdays or weekends to catch up on the lost time well this is bad unethical but you probably know what I'm talking about thanks for watching folks I'm starting a new video playlists category aimed at project management please subscribe and stay tuned Cheers
