Probably Shouldn't Have Done This...

welcome to a very special episode of off the ranch kind let's leg that ranch because we're here in the vet clinic we're after our dreck for After Hours why are we here after hours Meredith we we bought the clinic so I have been working in this clinic for three years hey y'all getting cookies I'm like doing this big life-changing thing right now my kids are excited about cookies a whole big care about so I've been working this clinic just as an associate my dad was the owner and my dad has decided that he's ready to retire and I've decided I'm ready to be the owner so I today sign papers and bought this clinic from my dad so this everything here you know they say someday all this will be yours everything the light touches is our kingdom this box over here it's mine the junk on that that's mine that person calling right now that's my client now so anyway we're we just came up here just because we just signed papers we just wanted to kind of walk around in it because it's dollars now we're just excited this surgery table where I've been doing surgeries on now I get to do surgeries on it it's just like always nothing's gonna change actually a little bit better and she'll change it'll slow down a little bit for a while because I have to like figure out you know how to run a business and that kind of thing there's so many things that I didn't know existed and that's why I vet ranch has kind of been a little slow lately cuz we've been doing a bunch of stuff in the background going to make sure we get all the documents pulled up going to set up bank accounts and the new a new business and there's just so much junk that I didn't know about so probably in a month we'll get that ranch ramped up again but until then dr. Kerry is gonna be carrying the weight on her shoulders we also have come up here because we used to get dozer he was boarding while we were snow skiing yeah and he looks excited to see us oh look did someone slide these under the door let's see Aden vet ranch helped the animals with love from South Africa okay how did they thin that without it being folded up did someone from South Africa slide this under the door thanks for helping the animals South Africa that's crazy I wonder where that came from another thing that we want to do is figure out what we want to change like what since we are business owners now like what we want to do differently business-wise what we want to do just even small stuff like like for instance this faded picture we should probably should take that down that thing used to be black and white now it's blue there's also another blue one up there so a lot of a lot of little things like that that we'd like to change the kids sure like these doors hey dude are you having fun mayor just found out this bathroom here apparently she doesn't take much interest in the place I've been working for like four years I've actually never given anyone a tour of the vet clinic this is our small exam room we have a large exam room across the hall over there and I think probably I want to turn this middle room into another exam room because I want to ramp up business in the clinic so it'd be nice to have three exam rooms in here sis are very small this is not a big fancy clinic at all come on those it's just a small basic clinic she's good because just a basic guy Lincoln and Annie Annie is about turn four Lincoln is two and a half Annie is kind of small though for her age let's see how much they weigh Lincoln Annie come here thirty three point four pounds all right Lincoln you get on a knee you get off 32 so she's a pound and a half heavier so Annie is 15 months older and only weighs one and a half pounds more than Lincoln where you get on now yeah going to be shot full of holes for science no bulletproof glass no thank you Chris Chris Newman you the man there's a bunch of those is just like Plexiglas I don't know wasn't me Meredith yeah are you nervous you're very quiet Meredith's just kind of walking around like why did we do this can we do this is this a good idea mer is not a risk-taker and buying any business is a risk and we have it we everything figured out and now it's like we're taking this huge leap doing a bunch of stuff we don't know how to do yeah we're busy with work we're busy with kids and now we're like let's throw some more stuff on our our plate but I think it'll be good I hope it'll be good I'm excited I'm nervous you seem just 100% nervous and not excited I think you're doubting me and this girl's just worried about eating I hope you guys are excited about this as I am and then maybe even nervous for me I think I can do it my plan is to make vet ranch a bigger priority because we've been doing it on the side basically I'm a normal veterinarian I see clients every week I see dogs every week that have owners and I come in and they come in I do vaccinations I do all that stuff normal stuff and then I do vet ranched in my free time and so hopefully now that I am the owner I'll be able to get everything streamlined here so I'll have more free time and can do more variance that's the plan that's that's the long-term goal I don't know how long it's gonna take to get to that point right now I just gotta survive this first week which is starting tomorrow where I have clients coming in and I'm in charge of everything and I have to pay my employees wish me luck because I'm gonna need it back home now I want to get to something that is less scary then buy a new vet clinic working in my shop love this place nice normally quiet when there's not tiny people running around and I have something new today this is a bench vise that my dad got me for Christmas and holy cow I hadn't open the box until just now obviously so I hadn't seen how big this thing is this is a beast of a vise I need a device but dang this is a vise thank you Dad I think you want a mountain right there I don't have bolts to mount it right now so I'm gonna have to go get those at a later date I don't know I think it stinks because like you need to mount a vise down to a sturdy point you can't just like have it flopping around here that kind of defeats the purpose of it I think it would be okay here I'm just scared to put it there and then I regret it but I think this would be a good place for the old vise to sit we're a bench grinder over here with a vise here got a saw here a big saw here hey girl this it's advice is for pinching stuff you want me to pinch something yeah pinching stuff look you have a empty bullet shell yeah let's do it let's pinch it all right see how it's nice and round right now we are going to pinch it focus that works pretty good right here you go let's pinch a big one okay I don't think it is oh it's working it's working because I'm so strong I'm so strong yeah I'm stronger than every bad guy I have told my kids but they don't be scared of bad guys because I can beat up every single bad guy which is true right no bad guys gonna hurt my family cuz I'm stronger than them I can crush 50 BMG check that out that's cool so focus for you guys it's pretty neat right let's smash one more this is the 300 Meg alright your treasure is smashed that's cool cool all right have fun fields treasure I get a really nice spice and then I smash things with it and actually don't do any real work yeah it sounds about right I have an old desktop computer here it's not the greatest it's it's okay I actually used to edit all of my demo strange videos on this computer and I want to see now that I have a new computer what will happen when I hit it really hard for tennis ball move my camera back a little bit so it'll be safe enough arm away but can I hit it from here that did so far nothing with two fairly good hits maybe I need to throw it harder for mate I don't need to throw it at all let's try firing one right into the internals so you can hit that motherboard with a really fast tennis ball man honestly it looks pretty good we broke off a little bit of that fan I think we bent the graphics card a little bit one of them hit here and did nothing one of them hitting to the wires and did nothing pretty tough computer maybe I should have kept it it survived shots from the can cannon pretty well maybe we should get it real gun an old German Luger very cool gun I need to do a demolition ranch video on this gun we're gonna take out that computer in style sounds so good I put it on dye site guys guys shugart I'm very German pretty sure it means safe I was trying to make it through this I shot high so we went through just the front of their skimmed off the top same a little lower alright I'm gonna take the guys shoot dirt off it's so quiet out here that nine millimeters echoes let's see that was a much better shot straight through there and how you can see it right there in the back of the DVD drive that bullet did not go all the way through that's pretty cool let's shoot the motherboard now and maybe the power supply and the fan and the video card guys occurred off solid guy secret our thought on hey I have an audience that one way right into the power supply and stopped tried another side now that's pretty cool that's why oh cool look at this little tiny fan where did that come from I don't even know where that tiny fan was but that's pretty neat gesundheit off let's take her down [Applause] did it survive nein cool so we got little pieces ever oh they're so that fan came from that went on the graphics card they're cute little baby fan there's some radiator that took a bullet how it's still there that's really cool that is really cool so there's a bullet stuck in the middle this radiator bent some of these fins out and then tried to come through right there could not make it some of the fins broke off there's where it pushed a big dent into the motherboard there and then several went through the bottom up into the power supply some came out there at the top Doug nice holes in the dirt here I think we have successfully decommissioned this computer do hasta beach [Music] now Luger is pretty awesome is it not I feel like I am just now going from gun enthusiast to gun collector where I have plenty of 9-millimeters I don't need anymore 9 millimeters but a Luger is so cool I just want one and now I just feel like I need to have every variation of every gun that's ever been hello hey did y'all like that it was pretty pretty all right cool yeah do you want to go shoot it now not yet someday those girls would be shooting no I didn't really hit wires [ __ ] those bullet holes coming to the top yeah there's a bullet stuck right there in the middle of that thing you see it and it tried to come through right there pretty neat here's some bullet holes in the bottom there they're pretty good impressed how is the popcorn good bought a vet clinic shot some guns just a normal demolition ranch bat ranch kind of day while I was out there did you did you hear me out there well that was that they're shooting guns my beautiful wife who by the way as soon as she came home put on PJ's shorts my beautiful wives in here cooking dinner Wow looking good Annie they're a little too big you little skeleton Annie what is this yeah you look like you're missing a few bones oh yeah look her knees that's it that's a normal knee joint right there is on her ankle hey but you look great hey mayor thank you for cooking she made taco she's really good at cooking tacos and down in Texas we eat a lot of Mexican food so we're very excited
