Pro Nuzlocker Tries Pokemon Radical Red

wow that was hard do you hear the sarcasm in my voice what i actually meant is that it was easy [Music] all right couple things this is radical red this is a edited version of pokemon fire red it's got all mechanics and pokemon up to like gen 8. i'm going into this relatively blind however i will be looking up like boss trainers and stuff before i fight them so from what i've seen of this game and heard everyone's saying this is impossible you're not going to do it this game looks easy we're gonna destroy it um [Music] that's the plan uh okay so we're gonna play this with hardcore nuzlocke rules so obviously standard nuzzle rules only the first pokemon on every route may be caught if a pokemon faints it's instead we can't use items in battle we can't over level the next gym leader and we play on set mode which this game sets you to anyway this is asking me for a randomizer option i'm gonna not set this to a randomizer option we got the bulbasaur we got the squirtle and we got the charmander my general advice is always to start with a fire starter because fire types are rare and useful portal is the best for a consistent early game treasure is the best for the hardest fight in the game and bulbasaur is really inconsistent but untested i'm gonna go with my boy squirtle for blue kaiser's sake you know i don't know if it's the best option but we're gonna go with squirtle first rival fight boys okay okay okay everything pretty standard so far we do have that orenberry i don't know if he if he has one too but if he doesn't then we should be fine here okay nice animation i love it i love it got a little bite animation on that one nope he does not have an oranberry easy easy also no gen 3 battle mechanics there i think um the oranberry popped immediately as our hp went to die here the switching ai is so interesting in this game and now he's forced to ember which means we can again switch to like whooper or something nice oh that actually kills good i was confused i
