Pro Editor Tries The Hardest Kpop Edit Transitions on CapCut

this is one of the craziest transitions I've ever seen on a K-pop fan edit so let's try to recreate it in cap cut oh boy I got the original clip right here and I've already made an edit on the down be and it looks like we already have some like lens effects and a little bit of a flash in there already so that's nice I'm trying to figure out how to do this velocity part with speed I think we have to do a curve we're going to do custom it needs to be slower for sure I'm a pro editor for for traditional commercials and music videos but honestly K-pop fan edits they put me to shame I'm basically a beginner so either I'm going to surprise myself or this is going to be hilariously embarrassing how about try the second one I literally spent like pretty much the majority of the time just trying to figure out what time remapping curve would actually work yeah that's not it but I think we finally got there okay I'm starting to understand hit this little plus button add another little dude yep now we're cooking with oil let's go it turns out this was the curve we were looking for so we really want all those down beats to land right on the top of the waveform boom boom boom let's go praise the have to make this half look horrible and it already sounds horrible so that's good the funny thing was I was struggling so hard to make this footage look bad my first thought was to lower the frame rate speed it up 2x create a compound clip and then slow it down next let's try to make it look ugly I was looking for effects to make it look worse but unfortunately cap cut has effects that only make your footage look better wo that sharpens kind of sick don't sleep on the freaking sharpening okay but how do I unsharpen it so I decided to use an old trick which is just exporting it at a low resolution dude this doesn't even look that bad are you kidding me even cap Cuts exports are good at 480p you got to be kidding me at this point I had no idea what to do image Dehan oh goodness my only option was to start scouring the effects to see if I could find something that would destroy this video and then I found it pixel art yes freaking yes honestly this kind of works it's different but it works and lastly to finish the contrast we need to beautify the freck out of the second half we're adding some digital makeup to make her look even more stunning okay I think we've done it [Music] [Music] let's go and that was the easiest one freak every transition after this is going to progressively get harder and harder oh yeah by the way I'm only spending 30 minutes on each of these transitions so so [Music] yeah I am so scared so I downloaded the original Tik Tok and then I also just got some clips of Leno and we also have a logo and if you remember to my last K-pop edit video I actually made my own logo it's Clay poop so fun so we'll have to bring that in at the end and yes the title of this video is Leno hot clip so I grabbed my first clip and headed into the animation panel to create my first transition okay now let's see if we can do a little bit of speed ramping so I added a quick little curve and then you always got to make sure this is checked on your K-pop edits you got to click this smooth slowmo Optical flow essential and then we want his little to come on that snare okay let's look at our original again here okay then we got one one two okay we need a short clip and then a long clip these two clips honestly already sort of match so what if we just grab both of these so this first clip has to be super short and then we can do this and I'm going to add one more clip now that the clips are in place it was time to add the speed ramps let's do the same hero time type deal I don't really know what I'm doing here this is freaking hard dude let's take a look at the original and see what we need next maybe I should switch my aspect ratio maybe like a 3 4 and then this animation we need side swipe mhm what if we just try this woo n never mind what if we just do a little zoom in and then maybe let's reposition this so it creates more of a mash [Music] cut okay now let's add in our little logo Kay Pop I struggled for a while to make the logo look good but this is what we ended up [Music] with what would normally take me days to do in other softwares I can literally do with a click of a button in cap cut and we only scratch the surface with the amount of features that we used like their automatic captioning is literally so fire but before I get to editing the last one I have to to show you this edit that was sent to me I'm not even going to attempt because of the amount of V effects that are going into these transitions but dude check this out this is literally one of the craziest edits I've ever seen look at the 3D effects how are they even doing this every minute every second do no matter night I'll be Ling you right Frick this is maybe one of the craziest edits and it has the first half is just the [Music] intro [Music] wo that's disgusting that's absolutely disgusting all right so we're going to focus on a little tiny section of it so I have a few Clips assembled together they're not the exact same Clips as the original edit but we're going to try to make pretty much the exact same transitions out of them so my favorite part of the edit is this like finger hole finger this transition what is wrong with vbra first step of this transition is the zoom so I added some key frames so it starts really close and zooms out step two is to mask out the inside of the hand and this happened it tracks it automatically I love cap [Music] cut thank you cap cut thank you so much for doing that that was awesome dude I'm shook all right that's going to make me literally cry that is so beautiful okay next up we'll just do we'll just do a basic zoom in here I grabbed this shot this was right at the beginning of their edit it creates a nice wipe automatically just with the clip and then with this clip we're going to recreate a little rotoscope transition we're just going to do literally Auto cut boom and then we're just going to animate him in so we added a few key frames retimed things a little and it looked like this now I'm just playing guys now I'm just having fun with [Music] it uh and then on the in for this guy we'll do a little transition before I Gess myself up too much I had to check back with the original edit oh a lot of this is velocity actually which meant that I needed to add more speed ramps smooth slowmo Optical flow got to do it first of all I want to thank all of you guys who made these actual
