Possessing The Priceless Treasure of the Heart of God Pt 2 - Joe Sweet

last week i brought a message called possessing the priceless treasure of the heart of god i shared earlier as i was exhorting encouraging us that was paul's heart toward the end of his life his heart was i want to know the lord and i want to know the fellowship of his suffering you know when you read that on the surface you think who wants that who wants to suffer but what he was saying was i want to know god's heart i want to know his heart and he said i want to be conformed to his death which is death means the love of god romans 5 8 the love of god was manifested on the cross god didn't write with his finger in the sky i love you he came down the word made flesh that's how he wrote the word became flesh and the communication of god was on the cross not written in the sky but in demonstration he's here's what jesus was saying to the world who's turned their back all we like sheep have gone astray all of us everyone has turned his own way says their feet are swift romans chapter three to shed blood under their tongues is the poison of asp they backbite they're selfish and on and on they lie it says all we like sheep have gone astray john the beloved said the whole world lies under the sway of the evil one all of us have sinned all have fallen short of the glory of god the wages of sin is death the second death is the lake of fire jesus came down as the word of god made flesh on the cross and here's what jesus was saying with his demonstration of his love he's saying to the whole world i would rather die than that you perish that's why when he rose from the dead he called his disciples he said go into all the world preach the good news to every creature and if you read luke chapter 24 he told us what to preach he said repentance and remission of sins to all nations beginning at jerusalem there's the heart of god god is not willing that any should perish peter writes but that all would come to repentance so jesus came and he reveals the heart of god and we want to know his heart and i believe god's heart is what i shared last week i'm convinced of it second chronicles 7 14 if my people which are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my faith they'll turn from their wicked ways that wicked means the ways that we have that are not in agreement with god he said they'll turn from those ways i'll hear from heaven i'll forgive their sin and i'll heal their land this is the cure for every city every state and every nation turn to god seek his faith humble ourselves pray seek his face and so uh to as i said last week to seek his face and to see his face is to know his heart from the face the heart is made manifest from the faces where we speak and jesus said from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks so when god's saying seek my face he's saying i want you to look at me and listen to me what i have to say i want god saying to us i want you to see the mood it's on my face i want you to hear the words coming out of my mouth god desires that we know his heart that's his desire that's what we need to know it's we need to pursue and every time god reveals a little bit of his heart to us if we receive it we're changed and so we talked about that about knowing the heart of god i believe that the greatest treasure the greatest gift god could give any of us is to fill us with his love and to make us not just when i say fill us with his love not just to know that i'm loved it's not always i'm loved i'm loved i'm loved i am loved you're loved but to fill us with his love means i become a channel that his love can shine through that's the greatest gift jesus said himself it is better it is more blessed to give than to receive and of course we have to receive if we're going to give so we want to know the heart of god when we know the heart of god everything falls into place the things that god wants us to do will happen when we have his heart if we don't have or we don't understand god's heart we don't understand his perspective we don't have his love we don't understand his viewpoint and but we just try to do what he says it's hard it's just a drudgery it's a burden it's like why but when god reveals his heart to us and then we he imparts his heart and we have his heart doing his will is our bread it's our meat because god has now caused us to have his heart it's not a burden anymore it's our passion so the greatest need that i have and that we have is to have the heart of god it's my ongoing prayer is god reveal to me your heart i want your heart for my wife i want your heart for my kids i want your heart for this church i want your heart for whoever i come in contact with and i'm not there yet but i'm on the way right it's progressive it's progressive we grow in the knowledge of god but that's what i'm after i believe that's what god wants us to be after he wants a people after his heart and i said last sunday that's what david was david was a man after god's heart and if you read acts 13 verse 22 here's the result of having god's heart he said i found david a man after my heart he will do all my will so god's not looking for people first that will do all his will but people that will first have his heart because if we get his heart we'll do his will so we want to focus on uh praying as a lifestyle lord i want your heart when i find myself trying to do what god says and and i'm not you know maybe it's hard for me all i got to do is get his heart when i have his heart it's not hard anymore even if it involves suffering even if it's physically painful or emotionally painful it's still not hard because when you have his heart it's not hard i mean he heard the saying we have he ain't heavy he's my brother because you got the heart for him so the greatest gift we could have god give me your heart we talked about last sunday sunday about how bobby connor had a prophetic experience and the lord told him that for the church to evangelize and bring the harvest in bobby said i felt so ill-equipped and unprepared i didn't feel capable of doing it the lord said you need my heart now please hear this i i don't think we can say this too much he said if you'll if you'll come to me that's for all of us if you'll come to me and ask me i will give you my heart that's got to be the most encouraging thing we'd ever hear because in any situation any relationship that's hard or difficult or we don't know what to do or it's painful or we don't know the answer all we need is the heart of god but it takes praying and waiting on him and praying and waiting and saying god i don't know what to do here but i'm asking you for your heart and as soon as we just wait there and we keep praying keep asking him for his heart and as soon as his heart is revealed we have the answer and here's the answer the answer is always love but that word is so simple to us but god's love is higher than our love so we want the heart of god when we have the heart of god the harvest will come in when we have the heart of god when we have god's heart when we can see our family our neighborhood our church our city the more god enables us to see through his eyes the more his kingdom breaks out because our heart will agree with him that's what we need i believe the most blessed place a christian can be is in the heart of god where god has given us his heart even if it means when i have his heart that i'm weeping with grief i would rather have the heart of god and be in grief in agreement with his heart then be over here and be light-hearted but disconnected from him because life is in him i don't want the surface vanity of the flesh but the life of christ i would rather be sitting next to jesus as he's looking over jerusalem and weeping and feeling his heart than disconnected having fun somewhere i mean no it's precious there is nothing more precious than having the heart of god and that includes not only for those that we love but and this is where it's hard for me i'm i'm i'm going to the lord over and over because in the natural it's i'm not i'm not just inclined to have warm fuzzy feelings for the people that are in the white house right now but i want god's heart and god does use the wicked for the advancement of his agenda all you have to do is read the bible god used egypt to discipline israel and uh if god says in his word he is not willing that any should perish that means any that means even the wicked and we should pray for their salvation as i said earlier in the prayer meeting i was convicted when i heard about christians in north korea praying for their government praying for their leaders not cursing them but praying for them to be saved help us to be like that that's having the heart of god we need god's heart i'm going to go on part 2 isaiah 55 verse 9 and 10 god said now to get before i read this to get god's heart if i want going to get his heart the first thing i have to do is is realize i don't have it now we all do in part because christ is in us he's in us his love is in us we all have his heart in part but to get more of his heart i have to realize that i don't have more because the common mistake we can all make i don't think i'm the only one is that we can look at a person a situation assess something and in our assessment of we presume that god agrees with us because i see it that way god must see it that way too so to get his heart i have to have a humility and say god i may not be seeing it the right way agreed here's what god said in isaiah 55 9 my thoughts are not your thoughts my ways are not your ways so when he said turn from your ways the word wicked means ways that don't agree with god so when god said seek my face if turned from your ways seek my faith my prayer is now lord will you illuminate me and i pray that we'll all pray this and show me the thoughts and the ways that i have that don't agree with you so god says my thoughts are not your thoughts nor are your ways my ways for as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts and your thoughts so if i'm going to get god's heart i got to go up i got to get out of me especially in relational challenges we see it down this way they hurt me he threw them there's and we got our assessments and our judgments but god's up here he sees it like this he sees the beginning from the end and he loves everybody so if i'm going to agree with him i got to go up i got to get out of me and go up and say god show me your heart and god says in isaiah 50 saying this to the ungodly he said you give your mouth to evil and your tongue frames deceit you sit and speak against your brother you slander your own mother's son these things you've done and i kept silent you thought that i was all together like you so god's telling us that when we sin and sometimes that's what sin does is the there's a phrase in the new testament called the deceitfulness of sin when our hearts are not right and we have a certain attitude it says jesus rebuking him the lord's rebuking me saying you thought i was like you when we judge someone we're angry at someone we think god must agree with me but god said i'm not like you so these verses tell me lord i repent i want your heart how many want god's heart are you sure it may cause you pain to the degree that you carry god's heart you'll have a you'll have a burden in your heart if you have god's heart you may not have rest at times because if you have god's heart you're going to care like he cares and it's not always convenient if our heart gets pregnant with his heart it changes everything changes our whole life do we want his heart i want his heart i'm going to tell you about an experience i had many of you heard it already some of you haven't but i feel so prompted so led by the lord to share this as appropriate for right now in 2002 i was reading john wesley i'm talking about getting god's heart i was reading john wesley who's to me is a giant of the faith his life and ministry affected europe and the united states my own family was affected my i'm i'm from five generations of uh charismatic horseback riding circuit preachers from the days of john wesley so and i don't know how far back it goes then so his ministry affected my family and i was reading his writing which i love i have his journal and other books in my office and i read something john wesley his movement changed history in europe change history and he said this he ordained hundreds of men to the ministry and john wesley said if i could before i ordained a man to ministry he said if i had the ability to do it i would suspend him for 24 hours over hell and let him look into it and after 24 hours of seeing the perishing and the damned in hell i'd release him and anoint him to go preach the gospel and i remember reading that and i just shut the book and i thought about it hell is real if hell is not real then the cross makes no sense and i said lord i remember i put the book down i got down on my knees and i said lord i don't even know if you'll do this i'm not like some of these other people i read about that have experiences and visions all the time i've had a few but i said lord i'm going to ask you to show me hell i don't really want to see it but i really do only because i want my heart to be impacted and uh so i was meeting at the time with three other men so mike midkiff daryl west and mark allison we were four of us were meeting every week for prayer together in bible study so i shared with him i said my heart has been so impacted i said i've never prayed for anything like this but i'm going to pray i'm just telling you guys i'm going to pray every day god will you show me hell because i want my heart to be changed i want my heart to care in a in a greater way and so and i told him i don't know if god will answer that prayer but i'm going to ask him and i did i don't know how many it wasn't very long maybe two or three weeks later i on a tuesday afternoon and at the time that this happened it had never happened to me before i'd never ever gone home to take a nap in the middle of the day but i found myself here in the office on a tuesday and i could hardly keep my eyes open and i remember i think i drank coffee or tea or something i still was so sleepy after a while i gave up i said i don't know what's come over me i am so sleepy so i just said i give up i can't get anything done and i came home i'd never done that before i walked in the door melinda heard me walk in she's in another part of the house she said what are you doing homeless this early i said i can't stay awake i give up i tried and tried i'm so sleepy i said i'm gonna go upstairs and just take a nap and i walked upstairs fell on the bed went out like a light and i realized looking back it was the lord putting me to sleep the bible says that god put abram to sleep and uh and i went into a prophetic dream but it could have been more than a dream because i found out that bob jones had the same experience that i did on the same day and i saw him in the vision and he saw me and we talked to each other i found that out later so in this in this experience i'm carried to a theater like a movie theater and you know how they turn on the lights to clean but it's still dank in there it's not really bright it's a little brighter than when the movie's on well i found myself standing in there it wasn't a big theater probably half the size of this sanctuary or less and there were 35 people standing around the theater there's no movie playing on the screen there are 35 people standing around the theater in groups of two or three some were sitting in chairs and when i found myself standing there don't ask me why but i was irritated because the movie wasn't playing something in me knew the movie is supposed to be playing and these people are supposed to be watching it i knew that and it bothered me for two reasons why wasn't the movie on and number two why didn't anyone seem to care if it was on don't ask me why i felt that but that's what i found myself and so it was it was vexing me and uh so i decided to take it on myself and look around the theater i said i'm gonna turn the power on and turn this projector on so i looked around the theater and i found on the wall a power switch then a thought came to me do you have the right to do that and so i thought well i better scan i thought i'd scan the theater and see if there's a manager anywhere and i could ask him please can i turn this on and please don't laugh when i say this the late prophet bob jones was sitting in one of the chairs i saw rick joyner sitting next to him i saw bobby connor standing next to him i saw paul keith davis i didn't recognize the other people i looked at bob he was wearing a uniform and it said manager so i knew he was the manager of the theater i i was i never had an experience like this it was like i was really awake and alive and really talking to him i remember when i woke out of this i ran downstairs and told melinda i said i just talked to bob jones no really i did and that's what it seemed like so i said bob i said uh shouldn't i turn this on he looked at me said yes so i turned it on as soon as i turned the power switch on you know you could hear the projector start the reels that sound well the the second everyone in the theater heard that sound they all scrambled to their seats and i did too i went sat on the front row and we all looked up in eager anticipation to see what was going to be on the screen and to my shock into my horror it was a depiction of people in hell i saw an opening in the earth i would say it was two or three times bigger than that screen uh it was a as a big door i knew the door you know in these prophetic experiences you just know things i knew this door was two or three feet thick of steel that i knew you couldn't drive a tank through it it's opened up i was standing somewhere in in the lower parts of the earth it was a dark cavern i could see what i was seeing it felt like i was standing when i looked into it like i was standing on the edge watching there was a dark dark cavern rocky cavern the walls and there was a a pool uh it was a cesspool it was urine and feces about maybe as big as this sanctuary and it was boiling and the walls of the cavern were dark and there were some flickers of flames and uh as the in in the in the boiling of this of the sewage were human souls and they were coming under coming up gasping and screaming and going back down under i saw the door open up and i saw a big blade like an earth caterpillar the big earth moving blade i saw it push in about 50 or 60 people and i saw the door slam shut and there was a 45 degree angle slippery slope and it was covered with some very thick green slime that was more lubricated than the greasiest grief if i knew that if you had claws like a bear you couldn't keep yourself from sliding down as i looked up i saw the i saw the door open up i saw the faces of the people that were lost these are people who just died on earth i saw the shock and the horror on their faces and i was made to know not one of them thought when they died they were going to hell i also saw the panic when when the second the door shut every one of them it was imparted to them they all knew you're here forever and you'll never get out i watched them start screaming screaming and they turned around they tried to claw like this and i watched them slide into the cesspool that was boiling and i watch them go under watch people come up and scream i so what i was seeing was a small part a small part of hell i knew that every s periodically every so often that door would open and people that died lost would be shoved in there and the door would lock shut i remember when i woke up i was i was really disturbed i remember my heart was beating i was sweating i remember i sat on the edge of my bed i said oh my god what just happened i said lord it seemed like i was there it seemed like i talked to bob jones i said lord what are you trying to show me and then not in words but in a knowing i can't explain unless you've had experience when the holy spirit's just there he imparts to you by knowing it's like a superior it's better than words you know what i mean so i just knew i said when i asked him a question i knew in my heart i said lord what are you trying to tell me this is what i what i got i want to show my church hell because i want them to do something about it but they don't want to see it they don't want to look at it they don't want to think about it so that was it i remember being traumatized and i remember when i was telling melinda i told her what what happened now two weeks forward paul keith davis uh came to preach here in 2002 it was his first he'd been he's been here a number of times since but that was his first time in 2002. he was going to preach sunday morning sunday evenings and monday night so that sunday morning just before church started he now he's a prophet and he traveled he and bobby connor the thr and bob jones the three of them did conferences together those three all over the usa for years so bobby and paul keith were like sons to bob they were very close to him they knew him intimately and they traveled together all the time so paul keith came in my office just before church is going to start and he said while i was in prayer he said the holy spirit spoke to me and told me to ask you if you had a dream i said i did he said do you mind telling me so i told him what i just told you he said that's very interesting i said why is it interesting to you he said bob jones had the exact same experience i said really i said i saw him and i said do you know when he did he said two weeks ago i said that's what i did do you know what day it was he said it was tuesday but in the afternoon he said bob went into a trance vision and was carried into a theater so he had the exp same experience he said he said will you write it down for me i want to give it to bob i want him to hear this which i did and later i met bob at a conference and we talked about it but here's what bob said in his experience the lord he saw the lord's when he was in the theater he saw the lord standing next to him and the lord explained to him what the vision meant and here's what the lord said he said the reason the projector wouldn't come on is because it's wired for 220 but the church 220 volts but the church is presently at 110. so you don't have the power he said the 220 is galatians 2 20. i've been crucified with christ it's no longer i who live but christ lives in me and the life i live now i live by the faith in the son of god who loved me and gave his life for me he said bob when the church will choose to live the crucified life and walk in galatians 2 20 i will turn the power on he said the power will be signs wonders and miracles he said it will be the greatest show on earth and the church will finally have power to stop people from going to hell now do we believe that here's first of all i believe it because i experienced that i had the experience but if you don't believe it paul keith who's probably one of the only people on the planet who knew bob because bob shared with him personally because they traveled together who knew bob's experience was here and paul was told by the lord ask me about it i told him bob had to say there's the three witnesses that every word be established the mouth of two or three there's me paul keith was told by the lord to ask and connect us in bob jones there's three witnesses it's the word of the lord so so the lord is saying uh in order for us he wants us here's what god's saying to us to the church he wants us to look at hell he wants us to think about it he wants us to see with the eyes of our heart damned people he wants us to see that now if you look back in church history at anybody who was mightily used by god to lead people to christ every single one of them was motivated in large part by saving people from hell reinhard bonke t.l osborne john wesley read about it but today we've taken it completely out the judgment of god damnation eternal punishment we've gotten rid of it because it's not socially acceptable and you will be called a hater and we don't want anyone to think ill of us we want everyone to like us so we throw the doctrine of god out the window to appease men so the lord was saying he wants see that's why i said do we want the heart of god or do we have our boundaries on how much of his heart he's allowed to share with us or do we say lord i want to know your heart you know i remember uh hearing jesse duplantis years ago one time he was taken up to heaven that i know of and if you heard his testimony and uh he said he was about to minister somewhere and all of a sudden he got an overwhelming desire to fast and pray he pushed his food aside went to his hotel room to fast and pray he said i don't know why i had that overwhelming desire god took him up to heaven he's the angel said the lord has a message to give you he thought man this has got to be some awesome revelation for god to take me up he said and the lord came and here's the message he said tell my people i'm coming soon and jesse said that's it he said that's the message tell him i'm coming soon so the lord was walking jesse back he said there was a there was something that he came up in similar to an elevator he said i came up and i was in heaven if the lord was walking me back i was going to go back to the earth and here's what jesus said to him he said he got all the sudden jesus got very sober he said jesse my worst day was not when i hung on the cross that wasn't my worst day he said my worst day is still in the future he said my worst day is the day that i'm going to separate the sheep from the goats the day that i'm going to have to turn to multitudes and say depart from me you curse it into the lake of fire he said jesse i dread that day i dread that day i dread that day see if we want to know the heart of god we have we have to be open to what he thinks and what he feels now of hell and damnation eternal damnation wasn't real the cross makes no sense at all for the sinless spotless innocent without spot or blemish beautiful son of god to be tortured stripped naked and hung to death on a cross doesn't make any sense except he's delivering us from eternal damnation by his own blood so that was the experience i had the lord said i want my people to look at hell but they don't want to see it i'm going to talk a little bit with us about hell but before i do i want to put it in perspective i want us to understand god's heart we all know john 3 16 god so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life god did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved to peter 3 9 god is long suffering toward us not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance ezekiel 33 11 god says as i live says the lord i have no pleasure in the death of the wicked but that the wicked turned from his ways and live turn from your evil ways for why should you die o house of israel so there's the heart of god agreed and he said uh i mean there's more you can read romans 10 21 god says all day long i've stretched out my hands to a stiff-necked and rebellious people there's a heart of god all day long and then we see the nature of god in exodus 34 verse 5. when when uh moses said lord show me your glory god said i will proclaim my name so his name is his character and his nature and that is the glory of god now when we say god we want your glory we get his character and his nature are you with me now when i read his character and his nature will understand why god has withheld his glory from the church until we humble ourself seek his face turn from our wicked ways then he'll shine his face in his glory because his glory is both sides of the coin behold the goodness and the severity of god watch moses said i want to see your glory here's the glory of god i'm going to read it god said i'll i will proclaim my name to you then the lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there and he proclaimed the name of the lord the lord passed before moses and he proclaimed the lord the lord god merciful and gracious long-suffering and abounding in goodness and truth keeping mercy for thousands forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin we want that don't we and we stop right there god's not done with his glory and by no means clearing the guilty let me put this in context we're all guilty because in the first part when he said i'm merciful i'm gracious that's to guilty people so that when he says not clearing the guilties he's referring to the unrepentant guilty the if we confess and forsake it says in proverbs 28 we find mercy so god said i'm merciful i'm gracious to the repentant but to the unrepentant i will by no means pardon them that's what he's saying watch mercy for thousands forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin but by no means clearing the guilty or the unrepentant visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children of the children's children to the third and fourth generation that is the glory of god so the glory of god is his righteousness his justice his mercy and his grace it's all of that so that's why god said humble yourself pray turn from your wicked ways and seek my face then his glory comes after we're cleansed and when his glory comes it does further cleansing it really does because he comes progressively it comes as much as we can handle then he gives more read malachi chapter 3 watch this the lord whom you seek shall suddenly come to his temple but who can stand his appearing he's like a refiner's fire purifying the sons of levi that they can offer him an offering that's acceptable that's what we want i'm like god come come with your purifying fire that's not a bad thing his purifying fire sure will get convicted sure will repent but the end result we are carrying more of god's presence we're all filled with love more love more purity more power more anointing to set captives free so god says now watch if i want that to come to the church it's going to come to those who seek him listen malachi 3 and to you who seek the lord he will suddenly come so if we're waiting oh god for suddenly we've got to be seeking him that's why right now we're in a season if you have ears to hear and i hope we all do god is calling every one of us to an extraordinary to seek him above ordinary above our ordinary habits and patterns to put some time aside seek him he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him and to you who seek the lord he'll suddenly come and he refines and purifies but listen it goes on but he said at the same time that's his grace this is goodness that's his kindness to come to us and purify us and so that we can uh contain more of his presence but he said at the same time i will be a swift witness against liars and adulterers and source he names the sins he's going to when he comes in glory both sides of his glory cub his kindness his graciousness his goodness and the part of him that won't tolerate the unrepentant so when we have unrepentance among mingled in with the body of christ god in his goodness withholds his glory from the church and we're dry i can't come any closer i'll have to start judging people why it's his nature he can't go against himself that's what's why the cross god the foundation of his throne is righteousness and justice but he's love and mercy and grace so his justice has to be satisfied so his love and grace provided the cross so that if we come to the cross listen the cross is not to save us from the devil the cross is to save us from god's justice from god's righteousness to save us from god's holiness because he loves us and so the cross is to pay the penalty and then cleanse us so that we can now live in his holiness so if we want to know the heart of god we have to understand why that there is an eternal judgment there is a hell there is a damnation and god himself the lord jesus christ himself would rather die and he proved it than one sinner go there hell was originally made for satan and his angels not for man but men will go there if they don't repent why god's nature he that's the nature that's the thing we don't understand we've made a cotton candy gospel we've made a cotton candy love we've gotten rid of holiness and righteousness and justice the our loving god who there are not enough words in any language to describe his grace his patience his kindness his mercy and his love it's beyond human description that same god cannot and will not it's against his nature to tolerate unrepentant rebellion it's his nature it's like you've read the chronicles of narnia aslan the lion was a represent he was the type of christ in the book they said he's not a tame lion he's a good lion but he's not tame he doesn't come under our control he's the lord god's heart is always if possible that mercy would triumph over judgment if god can find an intercessor to stand in the gap you've heard me read it from ezekiel 22. god said the princes are corrupt the priests are corrupt they're making widows they're shedding innocent blood they're doing abominations they have idolatry the princes are corrupt the priests are corrupt the people are corrupt the prophets are corrupt every strata society they're they're creating abominations they're provoking god's justice the part of god's nature that wants to drop the hammer is being stirred but his love does not want to do it here's what he says in ezekiel 22 when he saw that every single person every strata of society was absolutely defiant rebellious shedding innocent blood and corrupt here's the heart of god so i sought for a man among them that would stand in the gap that i might spare the land so when we talk about hell and eternal damnation we have to understand it's god's heart that nobody goes there but it's real and the reality is that there's a false gospel today it's a gospel without repentance it's a gospel where you receive jesus as your savior but you don't give him your heart you don't repent you don't hate your sin and turn away from it jesus is a lifestyle enhancement blessing rather than the king of kings and the lord of lords who's the righteous judge that we owe him our souls and we're all in debt to him with our sin we all owe him a debt that we can't pay and he and his goodness sent his own son to redeem us that we have to repent from our sins and get under the blood of the cross to be allowed to be a part of no but unless you repent you'll all perish or those 18 on whom the tower and siloam fell and killed them do you think they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt jerusalem i tell you no but unless you repent you will all likewise perish jesus did not read the american guidelines on how to be a pastor of a growing church when when there's a tragedy and people die we're supposed to say we're so sorry we know they're all with the lord even though they never served god never went to church and live on we know they're with the lord now don't feel bad that's the american pastor now what works of the flesh which are evident adultery fornication uncleanness lewdness that includes pornography idolatry we need to be more serious about pornography it's not a light thing jesus said if you should not commit adultery i say to whoever looks at a woman to lust for it's already committed adultery with her in his heart if your right eye causes you to sin pluck it out cast it from you it's more profitable for you to enter that one of your members perished in for your whole body to be cast into hell first john 3 15 whoever hates his brother is a murderer you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him revelation 22 behold i'm coming quickly my reward is with me to give to everyone according to his work i'm the alpha in the omega the beginning end the first and the last blessed are those who do his commandments that they may have the right to eat of the tree of life and enter in through the gates into the city blessed are those who do his command there's no such thing as i receive the lord but i'm not walking with god that's a doctrine of demons when jesus separates the sheep from the goats he separates them based on what they did and didn't do repentance is a requirement for salvation jesus said in luke 24 repentance and remission of sins must be preached to all nations repentance comes first remission comes next matthew 7 21 not everyone who says to me lord lord shall enter the kingdom of heaven but you does the will of my father in heaven now i want to say this i don't enjoy preaching this this isn't my favorite message it's not something like gee i can't wait to give this word but if god wants us to look at it then we better look at it and please don't look at the clock right now because i'm not done and if this is important to get god's heart then let's finish it i don't like to i'd rather preach on on your identity in christ i would i would rather preach on you being blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places that's what i'd rather preach on but if i want to know the heart of god i want to know the fellowship of his sufferings i want to know what he's bothered about and if i wanna if i'm gonna reach the lost i better have a heart for the lost we need to get the rose-colored glasses that have been put on the church by false pastors off oh they're going to be no they're not going to be saved unless they repent people are lost can i read this again this is from the lips of jesus this is the letters in red not everyone who says lord lord enters the kingdom only those who do d.o the will of god enter in and i'm not saying that angry i'm saying to make an emphasis we need to get the mind-blinding spirits off the church when our eyes are open to see people are lost they need the gospel we need the we need galatians 2 20. i need to live the crucified life where i am right now i'm by i'm seeking god i'm asking him for the grace i'm seeking it with all my heart i'm asking him god i don't do whatever you got to do i want to be a walking dead man that has your anointing to reap the harvest and we all should want that that's normal christianity let me just finish by reading a few scriptures i'm going to read to you things that are quotes from the lips of jesus matthew 13 42 jesus said the unrepentant will quote be cast into a furnace of fire in luke 16 23 jesus said the unrepentant will go to quote a place of torment matthew 25 46 jesus said it's a place of everlasting punishment luke 16 24 he said it's a place where they will cry for mercy and not be heard in matthew 13 42 he said it's a place where they will wail in luke 16 24 they it's a place where they will beg they'll beg for a drop of water in matthew 8 12 jesus said they will be there gnashing their teeth screaming wailing begging for a drop of water where they are tormented jesus said in luke 16 with fire again matthew 8 12 it's a place of weeping in mark 9 jesus said it's the place where the worm never dies and the fire never goes out now he says he personalizes the word worm he said their worm and the fire meaning the lost people have worms assigned to them and those worms never die now what does he mean the worm and the fire there's in in his day there were two ways of dealing with a dead person with their body their body was either buried in the ground where it was eaten by worms or they burned it and cremated it or they burned it with fire but jesus said the place the dam to go is a place of eternal death the worm never dies they're always dying and the fire never goes out they're always burning he said they're crying they can't get out it's a place of torment in revelation now those are from the lips of jesus other places in the bible revelation 14 says they will drink the wine of god's wrath where they are tormented with fire and brimstone this is not because god wants it he doesn't want that but his nature demands it when christ went to the cross he was saving us from himself he was saving us from his holiness from his righteousness to forgive us then wash us and if we keep repenting he'll make us holy like him so we can live in the glory there's it's a false message that says receive the lord and stay unholy that's a false gospel it's from the devil [Applause] read hebrews 12 14 pursue peace with all men and holiness without it no one will see god revelation 14 11 it says is a place where there's no rest day or night forever jude 13 says it's a place of blackness and darkness forever psalm 11 says it's a place of a horrible tempest there's a constant storm hurricanes of fire it's a cor it's a place of hot burning coals it's where jesus said if your eye makes a sin pluck it out if your hand makes a sin cut it off if your foot makes a sin he said cut it off and jesus said the whole world first john 5 9 lies under the influence of the evil one revelation 12 9 says the great dragon was cast out that serpent of old called the devil and satan listen who deceives the whole world the whole world john said is under the influence of satan the whole world is deceived by satan the whole world is headed toward damnation white is the gate broad is the way narrow is a way of life jesus is not a way he is the way. no man comes to the father except by jesus i'm almost done jesus and see that's that's what god wants us to do in that experience god is wanting us to look at this here and think about it because he wants to produce something in my heart he wants my heart to change so that i can see now the condition of men and that if i can if i look at this i'm going to start seeing people the way jesus does will start caring for their soul i'm going to pray for them to be saved i'm going to seek god for any way god please show me lord how to reach them god i'm going to ask god for more anointing not so i can have a better meetings with my brothers and sisters but i could have more power to save the lost we'll have better meetings because when one sinner comes to christ the bible says all the angels in heaven rejoice he said there's more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner that comes to christ than over 99 righteous so when the church starts winning the loss and bring him into the kingdom heaven will start rejoicing and you talk about having great meetings when god's rejoicing he pours his spirit out in the church but i'm not asking for more anointing to have a better meeting that's complete selfishness we're already blessed i want more anointing to reach people i want to stand before jesus on judgment day and say god i spent everything i had i spent all my energy i gave you my youth i gave i did i have give i gave god my youth i gave him the best years i want to say god till the end i've given you everything i had i'll give you all my energy i'll give you all my ability everything that's in me god i want to be able to say i spent everything god for the advancement of your will in the earth because if we don't do that we're going to regret it on judgment dave this is the only time that we can give him our all right so jesus came down from heaven and the cross is the demonstration of the love of god the cross is where justice and mercy kissed the righteous holy justice of god and the kindness of god kissed at the cross and it cost jesus his life jesus said in john 15 greater love has no one that this to lay down one's life for his friends john 10 11 he said i am the good shepherd i've given my life for the sheep first john 3 16 this is how we know what love is he laid down his life for us and we also want to lay down our lives for the brethren so jesus came and gave his life and then he commanded his followers he said after he appeared risen from the dead he was on the earth 40 days seen by over 500 witnesses before he ascended to heaven he called his disciples together and he said thus it is written and thus it was necessary for the christ of suffering to rise from the dead the third day and jesus preached to them that repentance and remission of sin should be preached in his name to all nations acts 17 verse 30 31 says truly the times of ignorance god has overlooked but now he commands all men everywhere to repent because he's appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he's ordained and god has given assurance of this to everyone by raising him from the dead so the word of the lord to the church to me to us is that when the church will walk in galatians 2 20. i'm crucified with christ it's no longer i live but christ lives in me the lord said i will turn the power on it'll be signs wonders and miracles to bring in the harvest the lord said it will be the greatest show on earth and the church will have power to stop people from going to hell galatians 2 20. i've been crucified with christ it's no longer i who live but christ lives in me the life which i now live in the flesh i live by the faith of the son of god who loved me and gave himself for me now we'll talk later about galatians 2 20. i've been praying for the last couple of years to asking god to give me understanding and revelation on how and grace how i can walk in that and how our body can walk in galatians 2 20. because until we do we're not going to walk in our destiny our destiny in christ is outside of the self-life it's in christ can i say this our flesh my flesh your flesh our flesh is a much greater enemy than the devil ever will be the devil has been defeated our flesh hasn't that's why jesus didn't say if the church can bind the principality over their city the revival will come he didn't say that if the church can bind the devil revival will come he didn't say that he says the church can crucify the flesh the power will come on they overcame the devil because they love not their life even unto death so what jesus did when he came into the world and he denied himself to do the will of god he calls us to do that he said if you love me follow me i want to follow him don't
