A Great Awakening is Upon Us - Joe Sweet

i want to share a word with you tonight i'm calling this a great awakening is upon us this is this message is good news god is in process of awakening the church and there's something about being asleep or let me say this when we're not awake we don't know we're not awake and so we need god to wake us up i heard a testimony yesterday of kevin zaidai he's a minister of the gospel he said he was walking in a hotel this hotel was on a bay near the ocean he says he was walking down the room to go check into his room he heard the holy spirit speak to him and he said kevin this hotel is not built right it's not built level he said i'll show you when you get to your room take the can of soda water that you have and lay it on the dresser and it'll roll off toward the so he said he got to his hotel room he said like you couldn't tell by looking he said i got in my hotel room and i put the can of soda water and sure enough it rolled off toward the window the lord spoke to me said my word is a plumb line he said you didn't know that this building was wrong until i told you and he said we need to hear what god says to us because on our own we can't tell things aren't right somebody say amen and so um god god is going to awaken the church he's going to show us things that we didn't know were wrong he's going to help us to get it right and this is the best news that we could have i said this is best news so i want to talk to us about some things and i want you to stay with me stay with me till the end because the end of this match it gets glorious okay it might not feel that way in the beginning but first i want to tell us show us from scripture to help us understand some things how god is the sovereign god over all the earth god can and does use our enemies god uses wicked government he uses evil nations to further his agenda in the earth then when he's done using them he deals with them you can see that all throughout the scripture god used joseph's brothers to betray him to sell him to throw him into a pit to get joseph where he needed to be and then years later when joseph who stayed faithful to god through his tribulations ascended to the throne and became prime minister over egypt and he was used to save egypt from famine and later and other nations when his brothers appeared and he made himself known to his brothers they felt deep grief and remorse and joseph said you can read about this in genesis chapters 45 through 50. joseph said you meant it for evil but god meant it for good to send me ahead for salvation and so god uses evil people he uses wicked governments to advance his agenda and uh that doesn't mean the people that he's using are going to get off the hook god used egypt to discipline israel and when he was done he then judged egypt and so uh it's not like god made egypt do it either all god has to do is lift up his restraining hand and let the evil government do what it wants to do and then he can intercede at any time so we need to understand the ways of god psalm 22 verse 28 says the lord is the ruler over all the nations and in daniel chapter 2 and chapter 4 the bible makes it clear that god is the one who raises up one government and puts down another proverbs 14 34 says righteousness exalts a nation and psalm 9 says the nations that forget god are consigned to shield the place of the dead so let's understand this that god at times will use a righteous nation to discipline a wicked nation we see that in deuteronomy 26 god sent his people into the land of canaan and he commanded them to destroy and evict other nations that was god's will in the in god's in the big picture it was god's redemptive plan to cleanse the land of satan worship idolatry bestiality and all kinds of perversion and and god will also use wicked nations to at times chastise a nation that's relatively better than they are and after god's done doing that he'll then deal with the wicked nation as recorded in second kings chapter 15 the assyrians came marching against the northern kingdom of israel 12 years later they did it again the capital city of sumeria was under siege for three years it eventually fell over 27 000 jews were taken to a serious captives according to second kings chapter 18 9-12 all of this happened to god's people because quote they obeyed not the voice of jehovah their god a little over a hundred years later judah fell as well so through the prophet jeremiah the lord said that he would send his servant nebuchadnezzar nebuchadnezzar was an ungodly king he sent them against judah bringing desolation upon the land and most of the people were taken captive into babylon this punishment according to jeremiah 25 was because you have not heard my words so we see that all throughout scripture that after god's purposes are fulfilled in his people then he'll deal with a wicked oppressive nation just like god drowned pharaoh's army in the red sea after god had used egypt to discipline israel so the lord is the sovereign god in the nations and um we see the same principle in the new testament and if this seems a little bit not too positive of a message for you tonight just hang with me it's going to end up really good god is at work in the nations and god's going to advance his will in his kingdom in the earth including the united states god's kingdom is advancing in the united states now in the in the new testament when the cup of iniquity was full of the nation of israel century after century they rejected the prophets of god jesus told the leaders of his day he said you've stoned the prophets you and your fathers from abel to zechariah that's from a to z and then they rejected the messiah and murdered him and hung him on a cross jesus foretold in luke chapter 21 verse 20 in matthew chapter 22 verse 7 that their city would be ravaged and burnt and and that happened in 70 a.d but god at the same time makes a distinction between those who love him and serve him and those who choose wickedness and reject him when jesus in luke 21 foretold that jerusalem would be ravaged and burned he told his disciples when you see jerusalem surrounded by armies flee and his history tells us that when that happened in 70 a.d over 1 million jews were killed their city was burnt their temple was torn apart jesus said you see this great temple he said not one stone will be left upon another he told the disciples that came to pass in fact historians tell us that when they came in because there was gold in the temple when they burned the temple the gold melted and gold got in between it fell in between the cracks of all the rocks and jesus said not one stone will be left upon another is what he prophesied seventy years later after they burned the temple the romans tore every single stone apart because they were going for the gold that dripped in between the stones so those those things happen god is still sovereign he still has his way in the nations and sometimes we don't understand what he's doing but god wants us to understand his ways and know this that everything that god does even the seemingly painful things are redemptive in nature god doesn't bring a judgment without lots of warning and lots of patience and lots of long-suffering you can read romans chapter 10 it says of the lord i've held my hands out all day long to a stiff-necked and rebellious people and so that's the heart of god he's very slow to anger he's full of compassion and his desire is to redeem and judgments are his last option when there's an obstinate stubborn people who refuse to listen to his word and even in that when there's repentance even in the midst of judgment there's great mercy because god would his his will is at mercy triumph over judgment but my message tonight isn't about judgment it's about the sovereignty of god working all things together for good to those who love him that's what we want to talk about god is still sovereign he still will use uh negative things to discipline and correct in the church in the new testament now that's just my introduction in the new testament jesus after his resurrection gave commandment to the church to fulfill what we call the great commission i'll read it to you out of three of the gospels in the gospel of matthew jesus came and said all authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son of the holy spirit teaching them to observe all things observe means listen and obey all things that i've commanded you so a true disciple of jesus listens to everything he says and seeks to obey all of it he said to his church go and make disciples of all the nations he said lo i'm with you always even to the end of the age that's matthew 28. in mark 16 after he rose from the dead he appeared to the leaven as they ate at the table and he rebuked them for their unbelief and their hardness of heart because the women had seen him risen from the dead and came back and reported the disciples and they didn't believe so when he appeared they were eating behind closed doors and he appeared to them he rebuked them for their hardness of heart and unbelief because they did not believe those who had seen him after he'd risen and he said to them go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature we call this the great commission he who believes and is baptized will be saved but he who does not believe will be condemned and these signs will follow those who believe in my name they will cast out demons they will speak with new tongues they will take up serpents and if they drink anything deadly will by no means hurt them they will lay hands on the sick and they'll recover so in matthew 28 he said go and make disciples and teach them to observe everything i've commanded you so whatever jesus commanded the 12 they were to command us to obey what he commanded them so they were sent to preach heal the sick cast out devils they commanded us to do the same so all the church is commanded by god to be involved in praying getting full of the holy spirit and seeking to fulfill the great commission by preaching the gospel passing out tracts sharing jesus in luke 24 jesus said to them thus it is written and thus it was necessary for the christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day and now jesus is going to tell them what the message is he said and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all nations beginning at jerusalem so the message of repentance and remission of sins repentance comes first forgiveness comes second today we just only preach mostly god loves you that's not the gospel message he does love you god loves you more than you know god loves you more than any human words could ever explain but the way to taste of his love is to repent believe repent amen so he said behold i send a watch when he said go and preach the gospel he said behold i sin the promise of my father this is luke 24 upon you but wait in the city of jerusalem until you're endued with power from on high so he's telling us as a church we need every one of us i do you do we need not just a one time we need to over and over fresh fillings of the holy spirit and we're told that in in ephesians chapter 5 in acts chapter 2 the believers that obeyed christ they waited in the upper room for 10 days they were baptized with the holy spirit and fire but in acts chapter 4 the same believers were all filled again so if a one-time feeling lasts forever they wouldn't have needed to be filled again in ephesians chapter 5 we're told be filled now in the greek it's an ongoing continuous tense so when it says be filled it it could be better translated in english to us be being filled over and over with the holy spirit then he tells us how singing and making melody giving thanks to god always so now that's the great commission we're going to look at how the deep god dealt with the church in the new testament then i want to share something prophetic about what god's doing right now to get us to where he wants us to be and the good news is god's going to do it god's gonna get his church where we need to be and god's gonna sanctify us and god is going to fill the church with the glory of god and uh we're gonna go there willingly or unwillingly i don't mean unwillingly god will honor your will if you're stubborn but i mean you can go there willingly or reluctantly but one way or another god's going to get us there now it says in acts chapter 1 as after the resurrection jesus told them to wait for him and they did and he appeared to them and he said being assembled he said do not depart from jerusalem but wait for the promise of the father which you've heard me say for john truly baptized with water but you will be baptized with the holy spirit not many days from now let me just pause and say this you and i were made to have relationship with god we were made for that we were made to be filled with the holy spirit and to be filled with the holy spirit means to be filled with love of god and the peace of god and the presence of god and also when god fills us with his spirit we begin to have the yearnings and the desires for his will to be done we were made to be filled with his spirit and have a close relationship with him so he said wait until you're baptized with he said as john said you're going to be baptized with the holy spirit and fire he said not many days from now acts chapter 1. therefore when they'd come together they asked him lord will you at this time restore the kingdom to israel and he said to them it's not for you to know times or seasons which your father's put in his own authority but you shall receive power when the holy spirit has come upon you and you shall be witnesses to me in jerusalem and all judea and samaria to the ends of the earth now notice they were concerned like many of us are and i'm also concerned about the future of our nation what about the government right now we have this is so grievous to see what's going on we have god-hating people in control of all three branches of government the left has taken over big tech they've taken over our universities they've taken over corporate america and that includes republicans and democrats and independents we want to know god what's going to happen to the government of our nation and i would say that's what they were asking something similar will you at this time restore the kingdom to israel because they knew that ultimately that was going to happen he said that's not for you to know let me paraphrase i my understanding is it was almost as if the lord is saying that might be an important question but that's not as important right now what's the most important thing is i told you to wait and get full of the holy spirit and go preach the gospel isn't that what he said see they wanted to know but we've been under roman oppression the romans hate the jews when are we going to get free of evil oppressive government don't focus on that focus on obeying what i told you to do get full of the holy ghost and preach the gospel now where did he say to go judea and samaria and the ends of the earth now we must today we must seek with all of our hearts to obey the great commission we must seek the lord for his heart and for a continual fresh filling so that we have his love his power and his boldness his his fruits and his gifts to preach the gospel now here's what happened the church in jerusalem had fantastic growth they obeyed god on the day of pentecost they were baptized in the holy spirit and fire you know the what happened they spoke in tongues people from many other languages were there and they could all hear them speaking in their own language in one day a church of 120 people that morning there was 120 people 9 o'clock in the morning is when peter stood up to preach at the third hour when they went to bed that night there were 3120 people in the church it's amazing what happens when the church gets a baptism of the holy spirit shortly after after that in acts chapter 3 and 4 when peter and john were on their way to a prayer meeting a man at the gate beautiful lame from birth was healed he was over 40 years old he was leaping and jumping and praising god a great multitude saw it peter preached to them and over 5 000 people were added to the church so the church is obeying god but here's what jesus said he said go go to jerusalem and judeans the ends of the earth it's clear when we read through acts chapter 7 and 8 that the church wasn't obeying very well we don't know to what degree but they weren't obeying well enough god's commandment to go and make disciples they were making disciples but they weren't going because when you read acts chapter 7 we see stephen who was filled with the holy spirit who was stephen he was a deacon the word deacon means a servant in the church he was one of the deacons along with philip who we'll see in acts chapter 8. philip and stephen were two of the deacons that were taking care of the distribution of food to the widows there had become in acts chapter 6 there had become uh sort of a little bit of a dissension in the church some of the greek widows were complaining they weren't getting their food distribution from the church and so the apostles said we can't give ourselves to this find out look out among you find seven men of good report and full of the holy spirit we're going to lay hands on them and anoint them appoint them as deacons and they can take care of the food ministry we the apostles must give ourselves continually to prayer in the ministry of the word that pleased all the people they brought seven men of good reputation full of the holy spirit and and they appointed him as deacons two of those were stephen and philip now stephen was full of the holy spirit and did signs and wonders and they stoned him to death and as they stoned him to death there was a a terrorist named saul who was a pharisee a legalist who hated christianity didn't understand it and he thought he was doing what was right he agreed with the death of stephen so we see that stephen was martyred in acts chapter 7. now in acts chapter 8 it says now saul was consenting to his death and at that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at jerusalem and they were all scattered throughout the regions of judea and samaria except the apostles now notice jesus said in acts chapter 1 to go to judea and samaria and preach the gospel and we'll see that they didn't go because when philip got to samaria over a year later after he told them to go over a year later philip gets there and he's they hadn't heard the gospel yet so god allowed god allowed persecution a great persecution to come against a church to scatter them until they obeyed the great commission now watch this as for saul he made havoc of the church entering every house and dragging off men and women committing them to prison therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word so the apostles stayed in jerusalem and the believers are to be the ones equipped to do the work of the ministry so the believers were scattered to judea and samaria they're now finally where god told them to go and the believers are preaching the gospel everywhere now philip he's a deacon he went down to the city of samaria and he preached christ to them and the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by philip hearing and seeing the miracles which he did for unclean spirits crying with a loud voice came out of many who were possessed and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed and there was great joy in that city come on somebody how many want to be in a city where the gospel is preached with signs and wonders many paralyzed or healed many demon-possessed are delivered and the city now has great not just joy the whole city had great joy because the gospel had come with power to their city so that was supposed to happen earlier but when we don't go and do what god says god's patient he waited but when it doesn't happen he will allow persecution to come to drive us to where we need to go and look at the end result the end result was better than philip staying in jerusalem after persecution was uncomfortable and drove him where he didn't want to go he ended up with a city saved and full of joy because the gospel and power had come now god uses the enemies of the church to squeeze us into obedience we see it in acts chapter 4. after peter and john went to the gate beautiful the man was healed who had been lame and he was over 40 years old and 5 000 people were saved that then the rulers uh arrested peter and john threatened him to not preach in the name of jesus anymore you could read in acts chapter four they went back to their own company and they prayed now what their prayer was tells us a lot about what was the highest priority of their heart let's be honest what i'm going to say now is not a criticism it's meant to let's be real if we are in threatened with persecution i can only imagine prayers going up like this lord remove those people from office that are persecuting the church lord we bind that spirit of persecution we come against it in the name of jesus i'm not saying to don't ever pray that but that's not what they prayed what was in the heart of the church when they were persecuted threatened don't preach in the name of jesus it was to come back and say god we let me paraphrase you can read in acts chapter 4 they said lord they've conspired and they quoted psalm 2 back to god the kings of the earth have conspired against you and against your anointed read it in psalm 2. and that's what's going on right now that's what the cancel culture is tear down the culture we want to get rid of christianity today they're calling christians evil they said they've they've joined forces against you and against your anointed now lord look upon their threats and grant to us boldness by stretching out your hand with signs and wonders that we can preach your gospel that's what they prayed they were persecuted by the government honestly most of the church can't even pray that prayer right now because fulfilling the great commission is not i'm not saying everybody in our church there's people in our church that are on fire and are seeking to obey the great commission i'm speaking in general to the body of christ most in the body of christ are not even burdened to fulfill the great commission they're not even burdened to obey jesus christ not even but this because the church was burdened to obey him their primary prayer was not get those evil rulers out and again let me put a little paraphrase in here i hope to god that we get righteous leaders back in washington but whether we do or not my primary goal is to be full of the holy spirit and preach the gospel amen and it ought to be it's a distraction to continually focus on politics i'm not saying don't be concerned christians should be concerned we should pray we should be involved we should vote but it's not our primary mission we can't get distracted from it and so after they prayed in acts chapter 4 the place was shaken where they prayed i don't believe that most of the church is even in a condition we don't even know how asleep we are we don't have the burden yet to come and fall on our face and fast and cry and say god we need your fire the burden's not even there but that was their burden and because they prayed that the place shook the bible says they were all filled with the holy spirit this included everyone that was in acts chapter 2 that had already been filled they got refilled and it says it says great grace was upon them all and great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection then you read multitudes were added to the lord there was so much anointing and power that they lined up the street people in the streets hoping that the shadow of peter walking by might fall on them so this is where the church needs to go now god allowed you see it all through the bible he allowed persecution to press them to cry out for more anointing and more power see before in acts chapter 2 they were all filled with the holy spirit and grace was upon him acts chapter 4 after they got persecuted and they cried out again it says it's the only place in the bible where it says great grace was upon them all and then when they didn't go to judea and samaria god allowed persecution to come against the church again and they were scattered and all the believers went everywhere preaching the gospel so i want us to understand what's happening right now in america i'm not saying i want to make this very clear i'm not saying god's done with donald trump i don't believe he is and i'm not going to interpret that he hasn't shown me what the future is but i do believe god's hand is on him and he'll keep using him in or out of the white house i hope it's in some day but god hasn't shown me that he never told me that he would get a second consecutive term i hoped that i believed other people who felt that they were told that i wanted that i prayed for that but god has better ideas and that might be hard for us to swallow but it's more important that the church awakens then that we get our way as i told you before on jan on november 1st when rick joyner was caught up to heaven and a face to face two days before the election the lord told him rick if the election goes away you want it the church does not have a great awakening she will be in worse condition than she is now and uh man that got my attention and uh and as the lord talked with rick he said the rick said the lord mentioned the geopolitical things almost as a uh by the way he wasn't even as focused on all of that or the election he said he was more excited the lord was about what he was going to do in the church in the kingdom of god on the earth now let me explain something i i hope i i've said this before in the last few weeks if the church will give god what he wants i believe god will give us our nation back but if we if our primary focus is to get everything lined up if we were to get all the right people in all the positions that we wanted in every state and every every uh federal and state uh office in america all the conservative all the it still wouldn't save our nation our nation is corrupt and needs a revival and i believe that god in his sovereignty will allow painful negative things to happen and they will they will get worse and worse and worse until we wake up but my prayer is i i mean god's got my heart right now i'm not that's the grace of god i'm in a place right now uh that i've only been in one other time in my life in in 1986 i had a visitation from the lord and he called me to a 21-day water fast to seek him with all my heart and i did i obeyed him and uh there was there's nothing god just has me in a place right now where not nothing matters to me nothing at all except being in the perfect will of god and of course i've always wanted that but god has me in a place right now where i don't care about anything else anything else i don't care i don't care about anything except getting closer to the lord and being in his perfect will and i wan i'm seeking god personally for a fresh baptism for a i'm seeking him for a face-to-face encounter by the grace of god i've seen him face to face once while i was awakened several times he's come to me in dreams i've seen him but i need a i need i i i need a fresh baptism and i'm seeking god into and i'm not going to stop by the till i get it and i believe with all my heart that everyone in the church needs to be in this place right now now if we can't if we cannot see what's coming that we're blind we have the most wicked people in all three branches of government there is moving as fast as they can to destroy our nation and turn it over to communist china and many can't see that and the ones that can are still blind and can't see that the answer is not keep getting upset about the government the answer is to fall on our face and seek god with all of our heart because if we don't fulfill second chronicles 7 14 that's the only hope for our nation if my people which are called by my name but here's the good news i said this would be if my people called by my name so humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will i hear from heaven i'll forgive their sin and i'll heal their land as i've said before we don't even know now the word wicked means ways that are not agreeable with god so when we say wicked ways a lot of people i'm not wicked that doesn't apply to me i'm a good person hold on a second i think that we have ways that are not agreeable with god in fact i know we do because if we were all in agreement with god the tangible visible glory of god would be filling the churches right now so there's something that we're missing and we need god to show us and give us a course correction if we don't have that humility to say god i know i'm blind somewhere and that's where i'm going after the lord lord show me my blind so i'm willing god do anything you want to me lord i don't care what he has to put me through uh lord do it i want to come out the other side more full of the holy spirit i want to share a prophetic dream and i told you this is going to end on a pla on a positive someone had this dream two days ago sent it to me i asked him for permission to share someone in our body a person who's loves the lord for many years they've been very faithful to god they're a seasoned person that but i asked them can i share their dream they said yeah but a little bit embarrassed or shy i said don't share my name i said okay i won't share your name but it's from a trusted person i want to read this dream to you i want to share some of the insights i got from it and it ends up very encouraging they said pastor i've been dreaming a lot about shekinah worship center in the past couple of months i've dreamed that we're moving to a larger place i've i can't tell you the number of people have had similar dreams that have come to me and told me that there are so well i probably could i could count but i don't know how many there are so many people and then the dreams are of the prophetic starting to flow in the church but the dream i had this morning was something that big had happened and it affected the church across all of america something was done and it affected the whole church and this something was not good the church across america woke up it was like they had tolerated things that had been put on them like restrictions and such but this time a line had been crossed the church instantly woke up and said now this is too far this is unacceptable we were all meeting together to come together and to pray and to speak out the feeling was that the church was mad like jesus in the temple kind of mad not hatred but just angered all different kinds of people came together in locations to pray and to meet and i felt i had a sense that these places of prayer were open 24 hours and now as i'm walking through the rooms where people are praying i saw pastors and the look on their faces were that they didn't even realize things had been that bad up until this point it felt like a sleeping giant had woken up and was surprised at what had just happened i thought now you've done it god will not tolerate this anymore i remember seeing people from our church and many others i'd been in the room there with them praying for hours there were young people deaf people old people and then i began to get very very hungry and everyone was going next door to chick-fil-a to get food we had basically taken over chick-fil-a and they were okay with it i walk up to the counter and i'm surprised to see the prophet bobby connor taking orders and then i see you pastor joe you're sitting down you're dressed up you're with other pastors and you're talking with them and eating it felt so real you know how in dreams the details are fuzzy but i was conscious of every detail like the counter bobby connor's face the menu i asked bobby if he had a certain item and he said no they only have this one other item so i agreed to that then he rang me up and i saw the amount as he said it it was 77 i could hear my husband making noise because he's thinking how are we spending 77 dollars for fast food but i said that's fine and i paid for it the feeling and the dream was what was so impactful i have never known a time when the church is ever united like this across america you know how a child will push and push to get his own way with things and then finally the parent says that's enough this stops now well that was the feeling the church was all united and they were on the same page the feeling of the potential of what the church could accomplish was amazing i believe that dream is from god now here's here's where we are where right now well i don't know if you're keeping up with the news i'm not trying to watch it too much because it's nauseating but i do want read the headlines and skim things but they're working hard to pass strict gun restriction laws they're giving our tax dollars overseas to fund abortions they've ordered a halt on the wall being built when statistics prove that wherever the wall is it stops the influx of drug cartel and ms-13 by 95 percent they're on and on and on they're they're doing their best to turn the country they're they're stopping the pipeline so oh what a great deal so we now have a clean pipeline and instead of that we're going to now spend multiple much more burning gas shipping it by truck as it goes to china and russia and we used to be energy independent we were put america first i'm not exaggerating the present administration is working furiously to put america last that is what's happening and many can't see it and the ones that can are only thinking of political answers god is going to allow restriction he's going to allow things to get so bad something's going to happen until the church says that's enough and guess what god's in it and here's what i want to say why do we have to wait why do we have to wait we don't why can't we just listen to the holy spirit and obey him why can't we say god i'll give you my life the bible says christ died for us and rose again so that we who live should no longer live for the will of man but for the desires of god why is that not why don't we say yes to that my understanding is that the lord is using the current evil government to wake up the church look at what happened all kinds of people were coming together pastors were coming together years ago i contacted numerous pastors in the valley and i asked him if we could meet regularly i can't remember if it was twice a month or once a month asking them if we could meet regularly and begin to pray together over our valley and we were able to gather 13 pastors and we begin praying i think we met once every two weeks at lunchtime but it wasn't very long only a couple months and one by one they all quit and i was so discouraged and then i realized as i sought the lord about it i don't have in order to do something like that you have to have the favor i don't have the influence with those guys god has not given me the influence but the day will come one way or another god is going to have his way if we won't listen to him he's going to get us there by pain but here's the good news uh whatever happens that's gonna i believe this dream is from god i've shared it with a couple of leaders uh outside the body nationally known uh and uh got their input and they both feel it's god i sent it to a third leader and asked you i haven't heard back from him but uh look at what happens all the church is coming together all the church is praying locations are open 24 hours pastors are united here's what i my understanding is the dream chick-fil-a is a christian owned and it's a national a chain and it speaks of the feeding the believers but who was in there was bobby connor now i i again i got some of this from input from others but uh i believe that bobby represents in the dream that he has currently the word of the lord that's the food for the church the price they said i want to get this item and his answer was no you can only have this item and the price was 77. seven is the number perfection and two means it's an absolute sure thing in other words the price of the meal that the church needs to get it can either mean this that the whatever happened to affect the church pressed the church to the place where we were finally going to pay the price to get what we really need to get and uh so i felt impressed last night i i did praying over it i felt lord what does that represent and i felt impressed every year bobby carter has visitation from the lord on the day of atonement and god will give him a prophetic words for the coming year so i downloaded his 2021 word that he received last fall in september october on the day of atonement and uh i read it last night he began his shepherd's rod word by taking some quotes out of the previous word that he'd given for 2020. in the fall of 2019 bobby received a word he published it i have it in my office everybody could read it he prophesied that plagues were coming in in 2020 bobby connor prophesied he's one of the few people that told accurately here's what bobby prophesied for in in the fall of 2019 for 2020. he said god's going to shake everything in the year 2020. how many know that happened he shook the government he shook our economy he shook the churches he shook everything and he said the shaking was intended to wake up the church and so he quoted in his word for 2021 he quoted that and he showed uh why he said here's what i wrote about the plagues coming and the shaking and the purpose of the shaking is to wake the church up so we can't we got shaken that means that we weren't all awake we have to be that humble we have to say okay god we we need to be corrected we still need illumination we can't say it was the other guy and then his 2021 word built on that so he said god's still shaking in 2021 and awakening us he said in god's purpose this year let me write it down i wrote down some of the things he said he said for 2021 this is a year to continue to wake up and now 2021 is a a year to repent it's to turn to the lord i'm writing what bobby wrote down we received from the lord with all of your heart you know i i just read this last night but last sunday my message was that we should turn to god with fasting with all of our heart and i quote it out of joel chapter 2. he said so that we can enter god wants the church to enter into new levels of the glory of god do you know what will happen when the church starts coming together and rooms are open 24 hours and people are desperate and they start crying out to god in one accord i'll tell you what will happen god will hear from heaven forgive our sin and release the glory of god into the church that's why i said this is a good message the the con the awakening is a is the best news we could ever have i don't want another two or three or four years of where we've been god take us higher so he said this is the year 2021 to turn to the lord with all of your heart so that we can enter in to new levels of the glory of god here's some excerpts that i wrote down from his book as i was reading last night jeremiah 2 19 the lord says know therefore and see that it is an evil and a bitter thing that you have forsaken the lord your god and the fear of me is not in you says the lord that's one of the words bobby gave we need to recover the fear of the lord in a nutshell the fear of god is his god means what he says and he says what he means in isaiah 66 god said this is the one i will look to the one that trembles at my word that when we're asleep and all of us are to degrees or have been when we're asleep we can hear god's word but somehow think it doesn't apply to us or not do it and not realize it but when god wakes us up he brings us back to his word and says hey listen to me so here's another word bobby wrote for this year revelation 2 verse 4 and 5. nevertheless i have this against you that you've left your first love remember therefore from where you've fallen turn repent and do the first works or else i'll come to you quickly remove your lampstand from its place unless you repent and bobby wrote for the most part the church has lost our burning zeal for the lord and for establishing his glorious kingdom lukewarm compromising actions will not sit well with jesus christ bobby said the church must repent of lukewarmness this is having a little fire but not a raging fire in our hearts then he wrote revelation 3 15 and 16. i know your works that you're neither cold nor hot but i could wish you were cold or hot so then because you're lukewarm neither cold or hot i'll vomit you out of my mouth so christians cannot repent of lukewarmness until we have an awakening just a few more scriptures he wrote job 22 23 if you return to the almighty you will be built up he wrote second chronicles 7 14 as a word for this year if my people were called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face turn from their wicked ways i will hear from heaven i will forgive their sin i will heal their land then bobby wrote bobby said he was told as he was waiting on the lord on the day of atonement in a bold a strong and a commanding voice with force sound the alarm awake the warriors then bobby wrote down joel 2 12-13 he said we must turn to god with all of our heart return to the lord your god he's gracious and merciful he's slow to anger and great in kindness and he will relent from doing harm then he he wrote this this is uh i'm almost done romans 13 verses 11 through 14 out of the message bible make sure that you don't get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-to-day obligations that you lose track of the time and you doze off to sleep oblivious to god the night is about over dawn is about to break get up awaken to what god is doing god is putting the finishing touches on the salvation work that he began when we first believed we cannot afford to waste a minute we must not squander these precious daylight hours in frivolity and indulgence in sleeping and anticipation in bickering and grabbing everything in sight get out of bed and get dressed don't loiter and linger waiting until the last minute dress yourself in christ get up and be about then bobby said you are called to be a history maker to change the world wake up hosea 12 6 so you by the help of your god return observe mercy and justice and wait on your god continually the reason i went and got bobby's word is because i felt as i was praying ask the lord what does this mean that bobby was the one serving the food i felt as as did others that it meant that this word for 2021 that bobby received is the word that the church needs right now and here's the good news god is going to wake up the church and i don't want to wait for trouble to be at our doorstep to seek his face i want to seek his face and be as full of the love of god the fire of god the presence of god i want to be as full of his holy spirit as i can be that he can have his way through me and so here's what we have to ask ourselves do we wait for calamity do we wait for the antichrist regime that's now running our nation do we wait for them to put the clamps on us or do we begin to turn to god with all of our heart with fasting with seeking him god is going to wake up the church so the question we have to ask is when do we want to wake up do we want to wake up now or do we want to wait in other words do we want to wait for the spankings to come to wake us up and uh that's the word of the lord that is i believe that dream is wall-to-wall god and here's the thing god said in the last days he'll pour out his spirit and when he does he said your sons and daughters will dream dreams and your men will have visions there'll be visions and dreams visions and dreams are the language of the holy spirit so we should be encouraged by this by this word not discouraged we should be encouraged the the things that look so horrible in our nation are intended to wake up the church and i'm i believe with all of my heart when god gets his way when the church is awake praying gets fresh baptism in the holy spirit we're reaping a harvest people are coming to christ we're about our father's business things will change in our nation god's not going to give us what we what we want in all the political offices when he's not getting what he wants in the church so um please i'm almost done i want to just ask every person who can hear me in this room and watch you online and whoever watches recording please seek the lord you go to the lord as i said sunday will you ask the lord lord do you want me to fast right now the reason i'm asking people to ask the lord about fasting is when the bible tells us in joel chapter 2 god told us to seek him with all of our heart god says turn to me with all your heart with fasting so fasting helps us put off the flesh and get hungry for him and as i said sunday i i i'm in a i'm in the midst of it when i'm in the flow of fasting i'm happy the first two or three days i don't like it usually like oh who likes to fast but once you get going and your spirit man starts getting stronger and stronger it's good so god says turn to me with all your heart fasting is a grace gift that the holy spirit uses to help turn our heart completely so ask the lord do you want me to fast ask him what kind of fast then ask the lord i i want to please hear this there may be people hearing me right now maybe you don't agree with me maybe you think oh he's just extreme that's just his opinion if you think that i'm going to ask you will you please take time to seriously get alone with god seriously pray and ask him lord am i fully awake lord am i fully awake lord am i on fire for you am i where you want me to be ask him please and ask the lord if if he wants you to seek him in an extraordinary way ask him lord if you do will you speak to me show me how to reprioritize my schedule every day and every week to have not to fit you in when i can but to put you first show me lord these are changes we can make willingly if we do it willingly we have the blessing of god if we drag our feet it's coming it's coming either way so um it's a good this is what i said is good news can you i can't wait i can't wait to be among awakened church i can't wait to be among people that are desperate and hungry and weeping and interceding and seeking god with all their heart because i know this when that happens it's it it is impossible to seek god with all your heart and not find him impossible god said in jeremiah 29 13 you will seek me and you will find me in the day you search for me with all your heart now's that time so if if okay my closing point i i know what it's like to be where you're sitting to hear a message like this and have feelings inside like oh that is not the message i wanted to hear i know what it's like what that means is your own flesh has so much control of your life anybody in the spirit if we're in the spirit we're denying self and we're in the spirit ours who wouldn't want to seek god with all your heart the only thing that doesn't want to is our flesh that's it but trust me when you get on a fast by the third or fourth day that's behind you it's over your spirit gets so strong you said okay i'm in it now lord i'm in the flow let's go that's where you gotta you gotta get over the hump and go anyway there's an old song it says the cross before me the world behind me how many heard that song the cross before me the world behind me then it says though none go with me still i will follow have you heard it that's how i feel right i want people to wake up and go but if nobody does i'm going it's time to wake up sorry i couldn't give you a better message for your flesh but this is a good one for the spirit man why don't we all give god praise lord help us is
