oh well you know the usual bills bills and more bills [Music] honey I don't think we can do Christmas presents okay um put the hairspray on the Q-tip and that'll act like nail polish remover okay Anna just second how's that ornament coming along it worked thanks Mom of course yeah this work too the Polish came off all right you got Christmas gifts but how I have my ways now everybody I know the holidays can be really stressful but we got this we'll figure it out right cuz what do I always tell you family always makes it work yes now who wants some holiday cookies me I want the first one you want the first one I called uhoh [Music] uh-oh who would have known that that was the last Christmas where everything was normal sorry I didn't mean to get emotional um here have my fries I'm not it's all his fault but your mother needs to be concerned with what's in your stomach my Mom's not around okay not that it's any of your business but since you keep making all these small comments I'll tell you you see one day last year we were all having our weekly family game night in the middle of it my mom told us she wasn't feeling well and was going to go lay down in her room on the Way She fainted I was so scared we had no idea what was wrong until we took her to the hospital and they ran a bunch of test I'll never forget the moment the doctor walked in and told us that my mom only had a few months to live I was heartbroken we all were even though she was sick Traditions were important to my mom and she wasn't going to let anything stop her so 4th of July we still had Burgers lit up sparklers and watched fireworks Works in our backyard for Halloween we still dressed up in matching costumes and went trick-or-treating we could tell she was getting worse last Thanksgiving was our last holiday with her my mom was always the best cook and did everything herself we all tried to help however we could that's when she collapsed [Music] again but this time the doctor told us she was gone and our entire world shattered that was the first first time I ever saw my dad cry after a few months my Dad decided to move us to a new city to get away from all of the pain I don't think any of us could handle being in that City anymore it didn't feel the same without my mom there so you see this is our first Thanksgiving without our mom and me and my sister tried to tell my dad that we could cancel but he said no cuz he wants to keep the tradition going with her mom but he doesn't make enough as a janitor so please just give him a break Anna we're at the checkout stand what took you so long sorry I went down the wrong aisle okay that will be [Music] $58.98 okay I'm [Music] sorry um do you need any help Dad uh no I'll figure it out I should have paid more attention when your mom
