Police Required And Closing The River Thames Magnet Fishing #107

[Music] right out today new location never been to this area before here with it's aaron and children and we're waiting for some others to arrive they're on the way down so as soon as they do i'll introduce them but let's give this a go see how we're getting today my first one a little bit of tubing we've got fishing lure fishing rod yeah i gotta use shotgun shell been used fired already uh part of an old manhole cover motor spike for a big nail i got an old square nail how is that just got that not quite sure what it is we'll give it a bit of a tap and get some of the rubbish off well i think it's either a door handle or a drawer knob weird a padlock as well wheel trim oh that's a nice one i know somebody will want that but yeah that's nice that is look at that all right so there we go there's the lock just give it a bit of a clean up except if you see that there we go it says vr patent on it so that just sort of shows its age it's a victoria regina but we'll keep that and get that cleaned up it's definitely a nice find that another square now some strange looking plate which i ain't got a clue what that is oh no what that is so there we go part of the lock gate that's just down there that's one of the wind-up bits but it's snapped off but part of the lock so aj's found that okay the remains of an old pen knife snapped off but old school i used to have one there when i was a kid first weapon of the day yeah first well the rust would kill you first well i've just found that ain't got a clue what it is around top don't know beat me i say um what do you call it fishing really getting it up sonic there you go it's part of official rig with an airy bit on the end and a big old hook well just had a bit of a joint effort on that aaron kept getting on it and we managed to get two magnets on in the end as you see like a big arrow got a lump of wood in there like a spike on the top whether or not it's a piece from the old wooden bridge i'm not quite sure but there you go something different there we go got a big old bolt now a dumbbell for aaron shouldn't say that he's bigger than me and there we go look some other weirdos turned up look we have mr nuts and mr dipper because he's only one today but there we go come for the he's come through his first dip in the thames steve's second so glenn's lagging behind again though well there we go we've got a nice stumpy pair of scissors that's our second weapon and this aj sounded well little grappling hook or somebody that's fishing for some very big fish the one and only magnificent guru on the thames on the thames scooter oh so there we go got myself a scooter that is it alright i think it's the question no the handlebars are stuck no i'll only be going around in circles but anyway yeah got a scooter so i got an old rusty ring we were thinking whether or not it's a like a whiskey barrel collar because it's got the holes in it not sure a couple of them i don't know whether their steps off the side of the water couldn't really tell you i know what they are pair of spoons we're all up with them part of an old great rim push bot wheel another big old bench rusty square now old metal strap morning brett nice used to join us some old bolts and some nuts all right so this spot we found earlier apparently it's an old plow spike so uh not to do with the bridge as we thought but you've been told it's an old plow spike would have gone on one that was pulled along by the cow can't think of the exact name but makes it even more interesting nice find that like when you're trying to pull it out another fishing life so i got another old battery fishing lure an l-shaped piece of metal and some random fixing something thingy probably the randomest square now thing i've ever found large top on it so yeah it's really strange that one and of course can't go anywhere without a scaffold pole so good old scavenge sorry at the end of the trial a radiator key and a big washer so as you can see see i'm alright i've got the microphone on poles being cut up so they can be loaded in the trailer this is the first location as you see the junk is starting to be loaded up so proves that things do get took away but there we go all right so we've moved on again been joined by dave rocky fish there we go you might have seen him on the live streams on a friday but new area water's a long way down look but lovely landscape look at that another section of the thames so let's see how we go on here all right okay there you go it's an old fire bucket handle recognize that's got the hoop on the top [Music] so we've got a cable isolated bracket now do you think i could get away warning stevenson i found a machine gun it's got that it's got the hand boy watch this steve look at that pushback frame [Laughter] [Music] we do from that distance i thought that's going to look good he's he got his magnet up oh god stephen left he's in the water again as he know he's like to leave the magnets in there that was good that was good that from a distance that worked didn't it [Music] so there we go got some front forks i've pushed back got steve i said machine gun and he came running but afraid not i'm one of those ones used to put into a light socket but yeah electrical box not quite sure what it is but isn't it different an old castle arm bracket a knife blade oh yeah [Music] is oh please flip in heck oh there you go at the same time [Music] oh oh [Music] now so steve here was doing well he pulled himself an anchor up earlier and well i just had a bit of chain and on the end of that chain was one two three anchors together now he's a bit annoyed he did get a good find himself as well but he didn't get three anchors on the same pole and there's some proper weight there all that shang as well there we go i've got a triple anchor sorry steven i can't believe those three together [Music] oh [Music] i got a bit of fence spike on the end yeah i got a scaffold clamp old square rusty nail aaron's got himself an old padlock and a wheel off a troy look at that old school so i just got that looked like a crucifix when it come up there's some sort of resin with a metal plate in it another scaffolding yep please come out first toolbox side of the boat okay [Music] it's always a minute mate soft shows to my camera so there we go except for all tool box look a little bit of a hole in the bottom but the old toolbox [Music] oh got one of them it looks like a snail's head i think some sort of mooring pole pole's gone off here probably wrong but yeah v shaped end on the pole i got an old bulldog clip only you could find one of these yeah so anyway i've just been fishing and i've just found a magnet and attached to that magnet is that um yeah so my magnet i've got away from that but it looks like a wukong thing but unfortunately look at that with a timer fuse on the end i can't believe i've caught a magnet with that on there maybe somebody i've decided they were going to let go of it they're a bit worried no you can keep the 5p but there we go so a chance finding i pulled up a magnet and the touch of that magnet is that we say world war two steve yeah it's definitely well there you go see all the time thing on there as well so we're gonna lower that back in the water and let's get on the phone pretty quick i think for that one yeah because i don't i'm not very comfortable holding there no right get it in mate magnet i'm going to stick it up i don't want it dropping off i don't want it to drop off that magnet leave it on no you've got to leave them on the mag now okay there we go so we're going to get away from it now i'm going to stop people walking around and get straight on the phone oh dear northampton strikes again [Music] so [Music] [Music] [Music] and that's there so we're stopping people coming on the footpath now because we can't take any chances so it doesn't matter where you go you can find all sorts find it on another magnet was unbelievable but uh i managed to get evolution off because it had only cooked the side of the magnet and um there we go another one to add to the tick list there we go you can see steve you can see it down there on the floor just there so just waiting on the police apparently he's category one as you can see he's down there zoom in a bit no it's not playing ball but there we go sitting down there still can't believe i found it on another magnet i think somebody must have pulled that and thought oh my god and she dropped the rope but not to worry doing the right thing getting it it's all phoned in now we're just waiting on the police not sure which way they'll come from but they did say is category one right so as you can see we're still waiting uh cool went into 999 an hour ago and yeah this is um okay that's the area where we are this is a category one um we've been waiting an hour now so stopping people from coming along still but not good not good waiting an hour going through the car so i think after an hour and 15 minutes the police have finally arrived they're over there so there we go hour and 15 minutes from to arrive [Music] hour and 15 minutes later oh my god oh [Music] what was that oh there we go so we've just been moved on as expected you see they're walking up with steve now uh one's there taking pictures of it sends but we're gonna move on now and it's done [Music] there you go so i've got somebody's magnet it's been in there a while but that's the importance of loctite your magnet don't come off [Music] there we go got myself a little magnet and that ain't got a clue what it is but castle on we've just had an update from steve who's waiting down there now for the eod apparently it's a world war one shrapnel bombers full of ball bearings and it's got a thousand yard um circumference of what it could do so unfortunately they've had to shut down the thames so um boats are being turned around now because it's got a thousand meter radius if it goes off they've shut the thames down and they're sending the boats the other way so if you're on the thames that day and you're watching this i do apologize i did not know it was going to happen but unfortunately it's one of the hazards of magnet fish and also i've never found one of them before and i'm sorry there's aaron sign there's aaron signing found have you paid and displayed obviously somebody didn't want to pay so they didn't display okay professional 10 pence what the heck oh best pro of the day saga a union jack weed pipe proud to be british okay look for old fashioned ever ready battery look hp 11 commonly known as the seaside's tool you youngsters remains for fishing look all right i've got an old padlock not really old one's been drilled at the side got the ring off a barrel it's the bottom ring off a barrel quite a thick one but that's a nice find got that there that's aaron's rusty ring and we've got the center of and also found that not quite sure what it is ring looks like the bottom of the missile but fortunately it's not but there we go got that as well there you go got an old triangle file as well not much of that left so there we go we've got a ben 10 scooter look at that that's pretty knackered that is spreading now right been another amazing day out um down on the thames unfortunately i do apologize for the shrapnel bomb unfortunately that's magnet fishing but um first time i found one of them they have shut the thames which is um unfortunate but it's better to be safe than sorry that's a really good finds the old padlock was good um the anchors just to one steve but because he was well happy he got one so to get three in the same pool well sorry steve it had to be done but anyway don't forget check us out on friday night for the live see who's on and if
