hi everyone it's Rax bringing you another endgame guide for the abattoir of Zer the poison shred Druid this is one you guys have probably been waiting for if you have seen my tier list and we're going to follow the guide from MC fluffin who you should know by the way and you should get on his good side and follow him because last Epoch is coming out at the end of February and MC fluffin is one of the best last Epoch players in the world and he's written a lot of the guides so getting on his good side now he might make you some good guides for last Epoch as well I think other members of the Maxell team have helped like Moxy and boiler they all been talking about how to make this work so the interesting thing about poison shred is it is possible at the very end of the Avatar that it will be the most powerful build in the game I actually haven't set this up yet in game on my druid yet and I'm going to show you why in a moment um but I'm going to we're going to have to use paint here I think I'm going to have to use paint to show you the interactions and why this is going to be so Godly but it it's it's essentially double dipping with the new glyph that we're going to get which is going to make it absolutely Godly at the end of the Avatar so if you look at the uh tier list here both poison tread and also maybe stormclaw the max roll people are looking at maybe storm claws the way with some of the lucky hit procs um they may actually end up at the same level or possibly even beyond the hoto Barb and ball lightning sorcerer but it's going to start off a little bit weak so we're going to have to get our glyph up to level 50 before the double dipping is really going to start to become quite crazy but this is expected to be one of the best builds possible and probably the best option for the Druid okay so let's go down here and let's go to the Avatar and uh man I I've been debating about the exact way to do this um let's start with one of the most basic things here um it's that this build is not expected to be the greatest starter for the Avatar you get this glitch the tear of blood but it starts with a level four radius and then expands to a level five radius the whole thing that you're going to see here is we're double dipping on this glyph which is the most powerful thing in the entire game so you may want to level it up with a build that can just Farm the Avatar and get that glyph up to 50 something like pulverize or werewolf tornado Druid might be able to do that for you we don't think they're going to be able to maybe clear level 25 but they should be able to farm it up for you um let's start by I guess let's let's go to paint here I think that's the best way to do it and let's understand exactly what's happening here okay so there is a power called blurred Beast let me jump back here and show you what that looks like um blurred beast when dashing shred seeks out nearby poison enemies and instantly deals 150% of the damage to them so you lay poison and Diablo calculates how much damage the poison does including that new glyph then you dash with shred it's important Dash with shred and then it recalculates it all again and you get two of them that's that's the basic idea here um and another thing to understand is shred on the first attack does not Dash and then it dashes on the second and third attack attacks as you can see on the modifiers down at the bottom if I move my mouse it'll go a shreds second and third attack also perform a dash in addition so the idea here is we poison and then we move away or we get we get a hit in then we move away and then we attack with shred to Dash and then we move away and we Dash in and then it's going to take that poison damage lots of numbers big numbers boom gone and currently shred is able to hit hit without this glyph for 1 billion damage so we get the glyph the 1 billion goes way up and then we get another glyph and so 1 billion plus a lot plus a lot again is going to be a lot right so uh that's why that's the basic idea of how this is going to work so blurred Beast so we we apply poison damage okay poison damage we do 150% I got my little Che sheet over here to make sure I don't miss anything and it changes to a it actually changes to core damage shred is applying this detonation if you will this blow up of poison but it's actually not shred doing the damage it's just a Detonator but it does turn into core damage which is going to allow us to take one of the aspects later okay so then where do we get poison where does this come from well the best way to apply it that we've found is from Poison creeper little companion which is why when we go through all the gear you're going to see everything is to buff poison creeper plus four to poison creeper plus three to companion skills yada yada yada remember the look at this power right here core skills deal deal an additional percent damage for every active companion well why would we care about core skills when shred doesn't do the damage shred just detonates it blur Beast makes the core skill work and then we take other powers like we have additional Companions and we take poison creeper activates Landslide and trample now summons a landslide we'll get to that in a second but let's stay let's uh go one piece at a time so we need to apply lots of poison damage and we're going to detonate it with shred dashes right so we will do anything that we can to bring poison creeper back up we cast a poison creeper they're poisoned haha how do I bring it back up to poison them again and again and again so I can just keep detonating them and clear the map well there is a beautiful little um Spirit Boon down here for Druids called pack leader if you lucky hit and you crit then you have a 20% chance to reset the cooldowns of companion skills it's another one of these blizzard things once in a blue moon this happens but this is what we want to have happen we need a lucky hit and we need a crit and then we have a 20% chance to bring back poison creeper and this is going to magnify our damage tremendously if we can keep it up all the time this is one of the reasons why people are Theory crafting maybe stormclaw just hitting can proc pack leader to bring back poison creeper to poison to detonate the poison to infinitely do billions of damage right is the idea it sounds complicated it's it's really not the mechanics are complicated but then you actually just play the game and oh you just you know you use your companions you poison you move you hit with shred you move away and you dash and they die and then you TR you run around with trample and debilitating Roar is going to keep you alive so the game don't be worried if you're sitting there worried oh my God this is the most complicated build ever it isn't it's just got some wonky mechanics that I want you to understand oops what are we doing here go down oh know what are we doing here back to paint back to paint That's the uh Beacon uh Beacon audio mixer shout out to Beacon um okay so poison creeper this is one way to apply poison there's another way if any of you found an andariel the Uber unique and Dario vomits poison all the time when you lucky hit the interesting thing is like when you trample or when you use metamorphosis or anything or when you summon these landslides these will detonate uh poison explosions all the time as well so these are how we're going to apply poison to eventually detonate with shred and remember as we talked about we're scaling poison damage we're scaling poison damage we are not scaling shred damage keep that in mind otherwise uh you're going to gear incorrectly um so now let's talk about the landslide piece now why in the world why in the world would we have poison creeper throw Landslide and trample throw Landslide well these landslides that are going out are going to proc the going to have a chance to crit and lucky hit all the time they're going around everywhere we're just trying to reset our poison creeper so every time you trample around or anytime um that you use poison creeper all these landslides are hopefully going to bring it back for you is the basic idea um you won't use the generator at all shred is to detonate debilitating Roar is to stay alive and then you just take everything with the companions right um core skills do more damage for companion give us more companions summon the landslides to create poison or um yeah preset the poison creepers summon the landslides to reset the poison creepers four skills deal more damage Etc then the rest of it is exactly like you do for all the other abot our builds if you didn't watch the other ones we initially assumed that the highest monster level would be 179 if that's true then we would need 15,000 armor but we watched blizzard do their demonstration and the at Avatar of tier Level 10 the monsters were only 157 by that logic if it scales linearly the highest monster level at level 25 is going to be 160 which means you're only going to need about out I think he wrote it in here 13,700 armor so for the gearing you're going to do the same thing that everybody else does you're going to put Disobedience here it's actually 1.1% that's weird some kind of glitch here going to take a bunch of Dr everywhere and you're going to take the armor rolls everywhere that you possibly can with disobedience in order to reach that 13 mid 13,000 armor threshold remember if you don't have enough armor if you've been doing health Tides the the whole season to do durial you probably found iron skin Elixir I hope you save them in all the hell tide um runs that's really good it gives you 900 armor base so that's very nice and if not what you could do is you can consider putting in skulls here and drinking uh resistance Elixir that's another way to do it to get more armor and then uh from there uh it's everything here is pretty much just buffing poison creeper as you go through it look through everything um there was an interesting choice here versus uh the difference between Earth sign strength and Lupine ferocity remember the entire thing is about resetting poison creeper so um there there's there's been a lot of questions about that MC fluffin has answered those questions here for you if you want to read it I heard some people talking about it today um but in general like every other class everything is about this glyph so you're just going to allocate a massive amount of resources to this glyph everything that you possibly can and then you're just going to walk through and copy the board and pick up the key legendary nodes that you need and uh whatever glyphs we can pick up but it's really all about this one more warning we talked about this in the beginning is remember this build is supposed to do really good when this is fully pumped which has which is about at level 50 so if you haven't respect yet if you are waiting for this video maybe make the pulverized setup first or make the uh uh storm Druid for the um werewolf tornado first it's going to be easy to clear level one two three haha and level this up very quickly might even be able to do stormclaw if you're already poison shred I say you just go with it but this power is going to it's going to get way more than the other classes once you start to really level this up and that's when you're going to see it really shine um when we look at uh when we look at the powers here there a lot of things that you would expect um so undying is going to keep you alive metamorphosis is used in practically everything um see do we take talz will here we don't take tbal will that's interesting okay so this is going to help you um apply your vampiric curses and it's going to keep you Unstoppable um flowering veins the the increases the damages over time that's your poison of course feed the coven okay this is important to talk about um in this build we don't have a generator there's no generator here so how do we generate our spirit to even do anything trample will generate for you but that's not quite enough well what is this build doing the whole point of the build is to just keep resetting poison creep if we are successful in doing it then it's going to have a 60% chance to store 10 primary resource and it's going to give you increased to damage so all these attacks are hopefully just going to fill your spirit back up and then you're going to be just fine in terms of resource generation so there's another point there the Maxell team is very well aware that this particular build and Min maxing it and maybe finding out the optimal way to reset these poison Stacks to keep detonating them is critical for this new endgame so there might be some updates coming for this and there will be an Uber unique version that'll show the endoral that is coming as well might be a stormclaw version that might be even better so be on the lookout for that um but I wanted to just give you a lay in terms a basic rundown of how this build works Works cuz I think if a lot of people looked at this and just stared at this they'd be like okay I'm taking shred it's called Poison shred we put one point into shred we stacked poison creeper everywhere and we're throwing landslides everywhere what what the hell is this what the hell is this build and we take companions everywhere and my wolves and my Ravens don't do anything you why why would I play this build but now hopefully you understand fly poison you need to Dash with shred step away and dash to detonate it these are your sources sources of poison we're using the spirit Boon to reset it reset it all the time and that's how you're going to dominate all right very very cool setup these kinds of things are really only possible with Druids um I don't think the other classes and I've said this I said this before the game launched I said it before season one on season one on season two whenever they're designing the classes The Druids have the most crazy interactions between their powers that enable stuff like this like a werewolf tornado build and stuff like that I really hope that a lot of the classes move toward this direction so we can fi find more like crazy scientist diabolical ways to make these incredible builds anyway very cool build maybe start with it only after level 50 let me know how how this goes for you and check the guide for updates mck fluffin and Mox in boiler or talk they might be talking right now on a Discord call you might see something really cool coming out once they finally minmax everything um a lot I got two more guides to release for you I need to release bone spear necro and I need to release Rogue and then got the probably a massive stream on Tuesday 24 hours so I'm going to Giga blast and see if we can get level 25 down thank you
