the new key into its Geo Tracker is giving mind-bending Pixel Perfect object tracks and Camera solves it just launched yesterday and had a couple examples I tried since then let's see how quick I can get a good object solved with no preparations I'll create a new geotrack I'll import the footage that I need to in the camera view you can see your footage I'll be tracking my watch in the scene an exact 3D model of the watch is definitely recommended but let's see how it does with a rough one I'll make a basic watch face with a circle and its radius exactly same as my watch I'll extrude it to give it a bit of Dimension let me also Mark the 12 6 3 and 9 of the watch face so that it does not spin in the track back in the camera mode I click on analyze footage it will do its thing let's now select the watch face as the tracking object I'll now enter my camera details you could also check the estimate focal length if you forgot yours let's enter PIN mode I'll Orient the watch face model with the footage at any desired frame I'll move ahead a couple frames and reorient the model to the footage after creating a couple checkpoints throughout the timeline I'll start clicking on track backwards and track forwards so the add-on can track the watch face if there are errors in your track you can fix the alerts by going to a particular keyframe and creating a new one by reorienting your watch face you can again click on track forwards and backwards for refreshing your track when your track looks mighty fine click on the refine button to well refine the track let the geotracker do its magic and there you have it a perfect object track you could also move everything to the world origin by going into scene position by object to world origin and also rotate it according to your needs now you can do whatever you want with the object and it will have a Pixel Perfect track I'll be honest I haven't played with the masking in smoothing settings I'm pretty sure masking is for you to mask out the areas that are bad for tracking and smoothing is for smoothing and refining the track even more I'll do some more experiments and let you know what they do another use case for this would be solving your camera Motion in case of this video I followed the exact same steps as before but in the end I selected geometry to camera and clicked on convert now you see the camera is moving and the object is static then I made the cube a passive rigid body added a plane below it turned them into Shadow catchers and lit a fractured Cube fall if you ask me it looks really good but with a little bit more time and refining it could look much better you can also use this to track various object surfaces and attach texture to them in post like in this case I tracked a cube box because it was much easier than the other ones then I use the Ian Hubert projection method to add a decal these were a couple of very basic effects that you could achieve with this add-on I'm sure in the coming days people are going to give you mesmerizing results with this add-on I'm very stoked to see them I'm going to try it even more myself but that's it for this episode thanks for watching until next time goodbye
