68/6/6/3/2 on 60% shooting, no three point line, never needed to get his feet set to get his shot off, and was thrown out of the game by the refs on a bogus 6th call before he could break 70
one of my all time favourite players
Pistol shot 10-15 from three in the lone season he was able to do such. Imagine his college numbers with a 3pt line. Also lol of course it was against the Knicks.
Pete Maravich is underrated
Check the FT routine. He walks into it immediately after receiving the bounce pass from the official.
A lot of this looks like the modern NBA. The biggest difference is that a lot of the passes look comically dorky. That court looks naked without a 3pt line
The man that inspired Magic Johnson. Think about that one.
After every shot, you can just hear him say, "good."
Pete Maravich was a true basketball genius.
For those interested, watch the movie, "The Pistol: The Birth of a Legend."
This was against the Knicks who won 2 rings that decade. Clyde Frazier was getting torched too yikes
