Phishing Scammers to Help the FEDS

this box has 40 000 cash in it now the scammers we call all the time they'll have their victims send gift cards do wire transfers but when it's big money they'll go straight for cash let's pretend that i'm one of four victims that are sending a package with cash in it to a money meal in the united states and then that money mule is going to send cash overseas to the scammer so if you've got one that's going there's probably a good chance that multiple are going to this address so here's where i come in i call these scammers and get these addresses and then i coordinate with the feds to intercept these packages that have the cash in it now guys listen these people have been scammed they have no idea they've been scammed and the feds are able to return the money directly to those victims this video right here is with a call center out of high tech city and that's actually out of hyderabad india so i'm going to call these scammers up myself i'm going to use some fishing techniques to be able to get information out of them so i can give them to my connections on top of that i have an informant who's actually giving me really specific data on this call center so i'm going to call him up and scare him into shutting down [Music] thank you for calling nothing let me help you hi um my name is vivian rogers i was on the phone with you guys yesterday um you guys actually gave me 40 000 i just wanted to let you know i got the cash out and i have it in the parcel ready to send if you have the address i can send it to the parcel to the address so that's why i was calling you back do you have the address yes for me to send it to you because i can't hear anything that's going on it's so loud okay ma'am man you do one thing you do one thing just be in front of a computer just be i'm not i'm sitting in the car you told me to call you back when i had the parcel ready i put the parcel into the box just wait for a moment i'm giving you that all right so i want to break something down for everybody this is not your typical scandi call where you go from kind of beginning to end we're fast forwarding pretty much to the end where you're sending money to the scammer the goal of this is to pressure these scammers and force them into giving the information that you would try to get from a two-hour phone call with a scammer we're trying to get it within two minutes do you have the multiple address did you ready the powerful yes it's ready just like you said for me to do yesterday murphy now very shortly i'm giving you the address okay well do you have the other ones i'm giving you the you have the other ones no not other ones i'm giving you very shortly the address okay so i'm not supposed to be going to get the money yet for the other ones yeah yeah did you withdraw the money well i did but i'm supposed to be getting out the other uh the other 40 000 today like you guys told me how much you get ready for the box this one's 20 000 then there's supposed to be another 40 000 and you need to withdraw one more 40 000 right yes yes okay if you receive any call do not pick up any call apart from my number do you have my number yeah do i write down for rook for the name no no no no no just hold on hello yeah like are you getting a call from any unknown number one thing that i do want to pause and explain is this scammer versus scammer it's something that really puts the scammers that i'm on the phone with on their heels and it forces them and pressures them to give me information really quickly because they think they're going to lose out on what they call a sale there will be sometimes too where you'll hear me say specific scammer names and think of it like when somebody who collects honey they have to go and they have to spray the bees with the spray to disorient them so they can get the honey out the honey is the information that i want to get and the spray is like saying that there's another scammer involved or saying their names it's just meant to confuse them disorient them so when i'm trying to get information it's easier to extract that info somebody is trying to extend our company's money okay except for red is the reason i don't want you to answer any calls right now okay whatever the call which you are getting just simply ignore it okay right now i am just going to give you the new and the press only only farouk yes don't root no shaddik all right you just need to speak with me only because they are not the right person they are just like to steal our company's money okay so first let me give you the address all right i'm just gonna text you from the numbers okay hold on i lost them i'm still here so the scammers are a little bit anxious because supposedly some of them are saying in the background that anyone can come in and say they have the money so some of them are torn yeah hello listen listen i am i already sending you the address from the new number and it should be not a fedex it could be a ups all right it will not go through with the fedex from the ups okay so you have to visit the ups all right okay so they're picking it up at a ups store yes yes yes and it should be an overnight service and the signature will be required okay i'm just sending you uh like the what else you need to just put it over there yeah and where's the second one going to the second one will be also uh we'll go to the new address i'm just sending it to you okay and i'm gonna have to go by the bank to get the rest of the money out because i i've been taking a few minutes a thousand dollars per day i have i still have i still haven't got together because you're having me get up for five days i'm just saying you something but you were not listening to me well i was trying to tell you if you me first you missed him then you will go to your bed okay you need me to go to my bank yeah i can go there no no no no once you make this parcel okay the address which i gave it to you just go ahead and uh make this parcel through the ups all right i am on the line yeah for rook where's the second one going the second one is also going through the ups i'm going to send you the second address as well i understand farouk just give me a second okay i have arthritis in my hands it's very difficult to do all this stuff at one time you're having me write down stuff this is very nerve-wracking okay okay i understand never yelled at me like you do i'm sending you the second address now okay through the text message once you receive let me know okay yeah did you receive the text with the second address yes yes yeah and here's carol yeah that would be a second address all right so i'm holding on the line you just visit to the ups and once you're done do let me know all right man these scammers are uh really sloppy now i haven't had pierogi going after him for like a month and i just get on here and i call these guys up and tell them i have the money and we've got two havalas right now they're very very sloppy is another aspect of the scam bait is being able to listen and live to the scammers and understanding their language we're able to get insights into if they're suspicious of us where they're trying to take the scam to names of people at the call centers and what else is generally going on in the background and that helps a lot we even heard the name samrak bhagji being used by the scammers they were saying that one of the other scammers there was bakchi's dog they're connected quite possibly to samurai bakchi they're out of kolkata moving up to hyderabad to work so it could be possible that he's created a new call center up in hyderabad taking guys that he knew would be good workers from kolkata and moving them up to hyderabad who's our mom i didn't get you what you said who is our mom no one is there man who is herman i don't know okay i just heard someone cursing i heard armand cursing and talking about a dog and yelling about some dog no no okay hello okay i'm gonna call back hello i'm looking for armand um i have two addresses i'm going to be sending over right now now that i have the addresses i'm actually going to be calling back the scammers and trying to scare them with the information that i have from my informant but first i want to tell you why getting these addresses is important now scammers watch these videos so i don't want to reveal every single detail of our system but being able to have the connections that we do were able to intercept these packages and return the money to victims that were already scammed and would have lost everything this additionally creates a mistrust in the havala system because the scammers think that either the money mules are keeping the money and not paying them or fedex ups usps or stopping the packages and collecting the money themselves the scammers are also not using this method of money laundering as much anymore because of the work that we've done over the past couple years sorry thanks for getting connected with the walmart how can i help you uh yes um i actually have a package that's on the way to a certain address i don't know how that was sent do i need to give you the address what package are you talking about yeah it's being there's uh it's some oh my gosh i'm kind of nervous right now it's a 1300 order uh that's being sent to a hundred road in hyper bad high-tech city and i'm j i'm very nervous the name is to uh dave um and i don't know who dave is can you guys please help me no we don't know anything about this okay because it's going to information goes a long way and they're quite afraid after this call my informant let me know that the scammers it actually shut down their operation and we're in the process of moving to a whole nother floor within the same building now it's not that easy we're going to continue to track and follow these guys and i'm sure we'll be able to expose them if you want to consider becoming a member
