Each page is summarised at the start of the "trick book." When shes on page 140 he's on about page 5 where I guess the number of paragraphs for each page are summerised and there's a few lines from the page he can read out. Of course when he shows the book to be blank we dont see the first 5 or so pages.

When you buy polarized sunglasses (from China at least) there is often a test card that comes with it, that shows part of a picture printed in regular ink and the rest of it printed with "polarized" ink which is only visible when wearing polarized glasses. As you can see in this screenshot he's wearing glasses with lenses in them, not as he claims glasses without lenses. The blueish tint is probably familiar to anyone who owns a DSLR and a polarization filter. The entire trick is based on him getting a book printed with polarizing ink and then switching his glasses or popping the lenses out when he last puts them away.

Still, pretty cool.

And here is a demonstration of this technique.

It's too bad they didn't keep Jonathan Ross. He was a much better host than flute girl.

Alyson Hannigan is a terrible host. Did they choose her by drawing random celeb names out of a hat?
