We started five minutes late. So, we take another five off of the time we would have begun. So, we have sixteen minutes. The privilege is mine to invite the pastor, your past Let us stand together. Welcome the newest pastor in the district of Tobago, the pastor of the Lighthouse Tabernacle Reverent Terry Arthur and his beautiful wife, Hannah. Amen. God bless you. Praise the lord. Thank you so much. You may have your seats. Wow. This is the wonderful occasion that would have brought us together. Let me see a wonderful, good good evening to all of us and let me also thank first of all almighty god for giving me this opportunity. What god really does is that after having done in your spirit over a period of time and throughout all those ministries that I would have come on over these years now, God has given me the opportunity to really deposit in people that which he would have deposited in my life and I'm forever grateful. Let me also thank the people of Charlotteville the entire board, and the church for your overwhelming support and love and appreciation. for my family and I in terms of selecting us at this time to serve you and let me also give you the assurance that I'm gonna do that with all my heart with integrity and with honesty. I also wanna the district executive from the the the bishop right down to the last person this evening for the process and for making it fair and for standing all along the way to ensure that this vacancy would have been filled. Let me also thank the former pastor who is here, the assistant bishop for serving in this community and my observation over the past of months. is the unwavering love and support that you at Charlotteville would have given him and so, I would really like to commend him and his family for serving in this area for such a long time and would have been able to leave Charlotteville with his integrity and his character intact and that is one of the things that I would like to emulate. That is one of the things that I would like to practice living and impression upon you in terms of honesty and righteousness and so my heart and my desire based on my training that I would have received. It is always about Service in the kingdom. It's never about me even though I'm overwhelmed this afternoon, my My family and we are overwhelmed. We are we are joyful. It it it just brings me to a place of understanding and realizing how important it is to steer the course. It doesn't matter what happens to you. It always matters how you respond to what was what was done to you and so is my my vindicator this afternoon. Amen. And for that, I give god all the honor and the glory and so there are some people that I would really like to point out this afternoon. Amen. As I use that little analogy from the scripture where Jehoshaphat was up against the battle three different armies coming together against him but he resolved to do one thing that is to focus his eyes upon the lord and that is one of the key scriptures that I'd like to take away this afternoon that whatever comes our way, Our eyes are always on the lord. Very, very significant in scriptures. Amen. The eyes of the lord, amen is upon us and so I really wanna take this opportunity to thank over the past couple of months I've been able to come on some tremendous ministries in this district whether you believe it or not, we have tremendous ministries in this district that has helped more of the shaped my life and I go right back from Calvary Road to this point today and I thank god for the former bishop for really imparting in me certain principles that I could live with for the rest of my life. I'd like to thank also all the folks from the Maranatha Christian Assembly who took me in and really helped to mold and shape my life when the the the the pastor came in, he followed through with the same level sister Rebecca Roberts. sister Janet Ennis, and Reverend Fresco Woods. They are people who really took the time to instill values in me and for that, I'm forever grateful and so recently, I've had the opportunity to observe a man in the district at the People's Pentecostal Church, the reverend Doctor Glenn Frank, who has always been there with me. We have had a long long nights of conversation until sometimes I ask him if he's not sleeping late tonight because he took the to really speak to me and and centered me on wanting that Christianity really is about balance. while you balance the physical and the circular, you must never ever neglect the spiritual and so these are values and principles that I wanna bring to Charlotteville and so I challenge you this evening even as I was charged by my bishop and the executive to to to fight the good fight of faith to do the work of god like Jehoshaphat We don't know to do. We don't have any resolve but we know one thing. Our eyes are upon our god and our god will never disappoint us. Hear me. I like those Tabernacle. I am not want to be compared with any other. I am one original pastor. I am Terry and therefore, I give you the assurance that I'm gonna do everything within my power to ensure that this work go forward. because at the the end of the day, like Jehoshaphat, we turn it over to god. God is the one who will see us through. the enemies are upon us. Yes, the enemy is coming. Amen. The swelling is great. The insurrection is coming but at the end of the day, Jehoshaphat says, amen. fear not, fear not. Amen. For god is our deliverer and as they prayed and trust god and as they sang amen and rejoice before god. it confused the enemies camp Hallelujah. Because they that are with us are more than they that are against us tonight and therefore, arise Ava, all those who are here, I ask you amen to throw in your life. Amen. You are very very special and important to this work. Amen. Let me let you know as your pastor, I speak as your pastor tonight. Each one of you. Amen. I need you The work of god needs you and the people in our community needs you and therefore, we must think that we are in a little isolated area where we squeeze god down to a particular moment but if we understand how god works and how dynamic our god is, that is what Jesse did. He recognized that god is sovereign. God is powerful. God is mighty and therefore, if something takes place in Charlotteville, the people will come from all directions in the in in this community all directions to be because something is happening here and so Jehoshaphat call upon them and guess There were other leaders before him who divided god's kingdom who caused a lot of people to be turned away from god but he resolved to do one thing to turn the hearts of the people back to almighty god and so I challenge you this evening, Amen. This is now I'm I'm just getting a little warm here now but we will continue as we continue. God bless you. God bless you. We're good. I thank you. I love you. Amen. I will continue to serve you with dignity. God bless you as I turn you back over to the chairperson. Thank you so much, Reverend Arthur, the pastor of Charlotteville Lighthouse Tabernacle. Give him a round of applause again, I wanna make sure I pronounce his name correctly. We have come to the end of so I had to put on my glasses. That's what I mean. Alright. So, we've come pretty much to the end and I'd like to invite now sister Sharon Marcel to do this evening's vote of thanks. Thank you. Thank you, pastor Oliver.
