Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians 1 Bible Study

well god bless you people of the most high welcome and welcome back to our Bible study my name is Clarence pastor of United body of Christ Church and of course again we welcome you back to our Bible study always excited about the lesson and really excited about today's lesson you know we've been praying once we've concluded remember what I said in our previous recordings those of you that followed us through the books of that book of Acts that once Acts is completed that we will be able to somewhat being released to jump around in the midst of the Bible at least within the midst of the New Testament you know and so I've been praying to see what God would have us to go so here we are today we'll be starting in the book of Ephesians and it's it's short it's it's six chapters so because it's only six chapters we're not going to compress some of the recordings you know some those who have been following our Bible studies it would be like two chapters in one recording because the Ephesians short will do just one recording per chapter amen so really excited about it great lesson today those of you that don't have Bibles of course being that this is a Bible study wanted to require tools or one of the you know when you go to work your player has a dress code well one of the dress codes is make sure that you gots Bibles with you that's a required tool if you will those are you that don't have Bibles though we got to covered we got a uniform for you amen go to our website www-what don't you just click on once you get there click on the online Bible tab once you click on that tab it bring up a little box in the center of the page click within that field box drop down different books within the Bible select the corresponding book will be teaching from today that being Ephesians then you can also select the chapter and you the father was verse perverse also those of you that require prayer I can't stress it enough you probably getting tired of me saying it but it's my job to said those of you you that require prayer we should all require a prayer daily you know from one another we should have things that that we need to fix because we are all imperfect we're not where we need to be we that won't happen until Christ come therefore every one of us has something that needs to be worked on those of you out here judging other people remember we all have things that we need to work on but nevertheless those of you that require prayer make sure you would have a prayer life we'll pray with you go to our website click on a prayer request page it'll bring read through it believing it to being the will of God we'll take it to our prayer closets in prayer sometimes and and I started out like this when I first came in into ministry and I felt like you know so like the sky was the limit and I feel like I couldn't make no mistake I felt like I was divinely intoxicated if you will you know this feel like man islands how folk get tripped up by the enemy how do they get tripped up bahs bahs word you know the enemy has no word and folk are misled by his word how's that and you know this is when I first started out you know eventually it was easy to see I became victim end up falling you know like countless others before me and even after me and so therefore I understand there's a scripture that says let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he falls and so lets me understand that you have to you have to stay prayed up and then you have to have this wording and you have to always without fail pray and otherwise you you think you got this thing all sewn up to the point that the enemy using you to judge others amen so you got definitely want to have a prayer life and a prayer life helps you to be more vigilant if you will anyway as I said we'll be going on with the Ephesians as we move on to Ephesians let me say a couple more things here then we'll get right down to it we my wife has instituted what's called a faith challenge and all it does what it's for is to help you become more Kingdom conscience if you will our thought process is to make sure that we've come we gravitate from a Babylonian system and when we say Babylonian system we're talking about the devil system within the world his economy the way he does business within his kingdom with in the world making sure that when we come out of his kingdom no different than the children of Israel coming out of Egypt you know they had that mindset once you come into the kingdom of God that's a whole nother way of operation can you face challenges kind of conforms your mind to the way business or the way things are handled within the kingdom of God so you want to make sure that if you haven't already done so check out our website and hit the faith challenge tab and just you know I think there's so far there's probably about three videos up there or so far--and and that archive will be increasing as time goes but those little exercises five-minute videos have exercises that are designed to get you more Kingdom conscience amen anyway I've already opened up with prayer before the recording and so we can actually go in to the Bible study here amen open up your Bibles if you don't already have it there Ephesians and we're going to be teaching from Ephesians now let me give you some some information on Asians right here Ephesians was one of the books that was written by Paul and I believe this book was actually and it's not a book it's a letter it's an epistle it's a letter and I believe it was written when Paul was incarcerated within Rome remember he was he was in prison with in Rome for some two to three years or so anyway he had an opportunity to put this epistle together and it was believed that as you know if you go through somebody early your translations I believe but more specifically some of the Greek translations as this addressed is supposedly it was left blank who would it was originally addressed to we're talking about the Epistle of Ephesians it was originally addressed to the region the Asia Minor region the Asia region which there was you know the Church of the Ephesians there or the Church of Ephesus if you will I'm sorry and nevertheless what had happened is Paul decided to to encourage to exhort those churches that were established within the Asia region he decided to exhort them and so as these letters got public publicized or public you know throughout the publication I want to say as as these letters start to be dispensed they were able to write Ephesians within there or Ephesus for the Church of Ephesus because that Church of Ephesus actually set within that Asia region amen but it pal full epistle a man powerful letter from ball so we know without a doubt that Paul is the author and and and it is still addressing the the the Church of Ephesus and we've already covered we've already covered Ephesus the Church of Ephesus here within a book of Acts especially as we begin to to read some of the things that Paul had gone through remember when he called some of the apostle's together and they came out and they met him and he began to tell them some things that that will come about some things that was going to happen to him and and you know this you'll find this in the 18th chapter of Acts actually we go there real quick acts 18 chapter verse 19 and and he came to Ephesus and left from there and he entered into the Senate into the synagogue but if you read that whole thing it begins to talk about even going on here Paul at Ephesus even more in chapter 19 it begins to talk about what would happen to Paul and how he ended up calling some of the Apostles together Dornan cuz he believed that he wouldn't see them again so nevertheless Paul writes this gets this distributed so we are familiar with Ephesians Amen I know I took somewhat of a lengthy introduction to not really say much of anything but I just wanted to let you know that this is one of the churches that was the start established by Paul during some of his Crusades this is one of the churches in the Church of Ephesus and obviously the people being Ephesians and I believe if I'm not mistaken Ephesians is one of the areas and where they had that that that goddess there Diana and that was a big uproar there so we understand about some of the trials and tribulations remember when all the people was acting crazy and they were in this this theater Paul wanted to go into the theater and people forbid him not to go in there and and the blacksmith remember that they actually was a silversmith that made these silver shrines for Diana that was all centered around emphasis but nevertheless as we see here there was still some believers so without any further ado we'll go right into the lesson here beginning at chapter 1 of Ephesians Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God to the Saints which are at Ephesus and to the faithful in Christ Jesus now it says to the Saints which are at Ephesus and and and and then it said to the believers which is Ephesus event to the faithful which is in Christ Jesus it's talking about then and it's inclusive of you today because it's saying and to the faithful in Christ Jesus those of you that have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior you are among the faithful in Christ Jesus so this even applies to you amen he goes on to say in verse 2 grace and peace be to you a grace be to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ verse 3 blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ now he starts off blessing God He blessed the people and then he goes on to bless God and what he's doing by blessing God he is praising God because he understands that God is not only a physical provider of those physical nourishments but God is also our Father and provider of those spiritual things that we need he talks about that God gives us these spiritual gifts and and dispenses them through the Lord Jesus Christ amen you can see that here he says blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ so what you can look at the scripture as the saying is that in heaven you have a particular storehouse you yourself you have a particular storehouse and within that storehouse you would have faith wisdom charity which is love presence all within this storehouse a man that debts particularly has your name for that particular storehouse and then when a time comes when you begin to ask God for things that you need according to his will revelation knowledge faith charity presence understanding those things that you begin to ask him for then he lets the Lord Jesus Christ know release release faith unto Clarence you know that he may have it you know for his time of need and the Lord Jesus Christ complies and pulled that down as and it's just a kind of another illustration of how the system works all things are giving through the Lord Jesus Christ to you but is laid up in heaven and it's released according to your need and the purpose that he has placed upon your life and this is what Paul is saying in a verse here when he goes on to say who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places which lets you know what's in heaven dispensed by Christ and through Christ amen now watch this in verse 4 according as he had chosen us in him before the foundations of the world that we should be holy and without blame before him in love that's major let me read that scripture verse 4 this is heavy watch what he says here let me reread it according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundations of the world now watch this what description is saying here he's chosen you before the founders it says according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world before the foundation before the world was ever created the scripture is actually saying that we lived within him we lived around here we live by him we live for him and Evon scripture is saying before the world was ever created before he actually decided to relocate man to head to earth he said that man had an existence in him within heaven now you think my interpretation may be flawed I've got you covered go with me real quick keep your places here in Ephesians and go with me to Jeremiah the first chapter of the Book of Jeremiah Old Testament first chapter beginning at verse 4 watch this read this with me Jeremiah first chapter verse 4 then the word of the Lord came unto me saying watch this this goes along with what Ephesians said before are formed in the belly I knew thee let me read that line again before I formed you before you were ever conceived in the womb I knew you is what the Lord is saying and before thou camest forth out of the womb I'll set you aside to sanctify some something as to set it aside for a purpose he says before you came out of the womb I sanctified you and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations but take take special observation to the way verse 5 starts it starts off by saying before you were ever formed in the belly I knew you that means before you were ever brought down to earth as a seed we had a relationship in heaven I knew you and this is why I believe when you read the scripture here this is why I believe that there are so many people that are always searching but end up never think never coming into the understanding this is why I believe that people filled their clouded judgments with drugs alcohol with with a loose living they're always trying to find something to fill a void that they once had in heaven and let's be honest which nothing on earth measures up to what you've already experienced in heaven you were relocated from heaven you went from heaven to earth to one day go back to heaven to one day come back to earth to live with God when the time comes you understand what I'm saying so you you get relocated in this whole process just like the children of Israel you know they go from from from one area to Canaan from Canaan to Egypt from Egypt back to Canaan well that's kind of how we are if you understand what Jeremiah is saying with that well God is saying to Jeremiah we go from before we get relocated here there is a relationship that we have with our Father in heaven amen and so when he brings us to earth when he relocates us here we are brought here in purpose every person that's walking around today has a purpose the very reason why la pulls them out of heaven and pull them down here is because there is a purpose that has to be established everyone has a purpose everyone the greatest to the small I don't care if they're in jail I don't care if they're in the drug house I don't care if they're in the White House wherever there is man there is a purpose and that purpose was established by God no one here does not have a purpose and I think the devil's job is to get you off the purpose of God is to try to knock you around so that you don't fulfill God's purpose the devil wants you to fulfill his purpose and not fulfill God's purpose and what happens is a lot of people do get knocked off-course and they're lost the reason why they're lost is because they're trying to fill a void that only heaven can feel that's why once you begin to walk with God why you are here on earth he begins to satisfy he begins to fill the void that you got going on inside you amen once he started filling that boy you're no longer desiring all kind of things you're just desiring the fellowship with God and for your family to feel how you feel about God do you understand what I'm saying so Jeremiah go as we see here he sanctified they set you aside and he ordained you he ordained at least Jeremiah to be a prophet that was Jeremiah's calling but for God to take you from heaven and relocate you to earth he brought you here with a purpose a man and so to help you carry out his purpose as he tells us in verse in verse 3 there are spiritual blessings in heaven that are laid up that are designed to be released through Jesus Christ giving unto you so that you can walk in the purpose that was a minister to you to begin with okay now five now watch this watch this in five let me finish up four here he said that we should be holy and without blame before him in love because God is holy amen because he is holy and watch this what happens is when God relocates you from heaven to earth once he puts you down here on earth because you are born here you are born under sin you were holy in heaven but you are born under sin his purpose along with many for your life is to get you back and to clean you back up because you had to go through a dirty process to get into this world you know but his purpose is important so you had to go through some dirt to get into this world but once you rediscover him he cleans you up through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ that make you holy and blameless and you can't help but be in love with him and all the works of his hands that says our God is do you understand what I'm saying he because the process is the little filthy coming in because you're born into a world of sin when he brings you into this life here and then because you're born into a world of sin he's got to clean you up you know so so you can be as you were when you were in heaven full of love blameless you weren't born in the sand on earth when you were in heaven you were without lane so his job is to get you back to the way you used to be when you were there amen going on with this verse 5 watch what he says there having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself according to the good pleasure of his will so this is another have Ephesians altogether is deep well look at what he says there having predestinated us until the adoption of children what do adoption mean it is to transfer of a parental authority or parental parental lineage if you will adoption that means transferring transferring the lineage of parents from one to the next it means that if in our guessing in worldly terms here you sign over ownership of your kids to someone else to be caretaker and it's not to always say that that person is better than you are as a parent your dis transferring I don't want to sound like you're you're some kind of a object or placement when I say transferring ownership of one parent to the next that's adoption but that's what happens here in order you have to understand the process when it says he predestinated us once he brings us down into earth for a short time ownership of parents is misplaced you end up going from him to some parents that he's assigned you with to the devil trying to make you his child huh the table trying to make you his child and we'll cover that here momentarily to God wanting you to come back into his care by giving you parents that may walk with him so to make sure that you're protected and able to grow up in his will so as that having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to self according to the good pleasure of his will now Jesus Christ once we come down into heaven and we are born into this world here the only way to get back to our Father is to go through his son the Lord Jesus Christ once we go through his son we automatically become sons of God we are automatically established through adoption as sons of God do you understand what I'm saying so as a matter of fact go with me real quick to John 8th chapter verse 43 because remember I said the devil is trying to make you his child remember I said that and that's the dangers when God sent you into a sinful world to establish when he sent you into a sinful world to establish his purpose chances are because you're born into a sin a sinful world you're going to be carried away because you have been made with with flesh and the flesh day you wear as the suit craves the elements of this world you know and all the lusts thereof and so for time it seems that you are lost it seems like the devil is your father watch this go with me real quick as I said go with me to the eighth chapter of the book of the Gospel according to John beginning at verse 43 the eighth chapter of the Gospel according to John beginning at verse 43 now watch this this is Jesus and he seems to be talking here to the Pharisees or to some of the Jews I want to say watch this watch what he says here he says why do you not understand my speech is it because you cannot hear my words even because you cannot hear my word it says you are of your father the devil it says and the lust of your father you will do he was a murderer from the beginning a boat not in the truth or the truth didn't didn't dwell within him it says because there is not there is no truth in him when when he speaketh it's a lie and he speaketh of his own for he is a liar and the father of it and because I tell you because I tell you the truth you believe me not and watch this in verse 47 he that is of God here God words eat therefore hear them not because you are not of God so at some point in time you end up being born into this world because you're born into sin began to walk according to the controller and the ruler of this world you begin to walk according to his ways and the more you begin to covet and mimic the devil ways the more he began to mold you into his son if you will your children of the devil okay so what happens is he can't fulfill that desire that you had that that you have within you this is how God brings you back to the fold so you can establish his purpose God keeps a void empty that your flesh cannot fulfill or satisfy the devil tries to turn up these sensors in your skin to make you one and desire all the things of this world and what is trying to do is take your mind off of the void and have your mind focused more on the sensors that are throughout your skin to have you desire two things in this world but what happens is if he doesn't kill you because ultimately that's the plan he believes in killing it what what's deemed as his kids if you will those and when we say his kids those that those that begin to listen to him those that make him their Lord he be getting you know if he don't kill you off then what happens is you begin to gravitate over to God because the longer the closer you approached a certain time in your life the more you begin to desire or more than what this world can in view and it seems like all heck breaks loose in your life at that time but do you know why because you were predestinated it means there was an assignment wrote concern in your life before you were brought here and that assignment she may have said okay as far as clearance is concerned on December December 19th the date 2010 we're going to allow clearance to go to jail not that the God not that God Tim she would sin but he sees that he seems ahead and sees what's going to happen and he says okay him being in jail now I'm not saying that's what happened to me so don't y'all go run I'm saying I'm giving an example once you go to jail or once something bad happened I'll send my servant here to speak with him and that servant is going to talk to him and plant seeds that servant is going to minister to that void that I have been citing him you know that that void you know why all this is happening the the will of God that plan concern in your life because he predestinated is he wrote this thing out ahead of time before it ever happened so when it did happen components start clicking and coming into play and they start tapping you on the shoulder and start talking to you and they start to talk to the void and begin to fill that void up and as that void starts getting filled you're starting to design you're more and more of the original source of the filling of that Lloyd so predestination is I don't care what you do if you were chosen to have this thing happened to your it's going to happen because it was written out ahead of time amen no we took a long way to get there but but we got there and remember we're talking about you know predestination and how people are the children of the devil if you will somewhat but with me real quick to Ephesians 2nd chapter beginning that verse 2 and I just want to jump ahead real quick to it to Conner show you when it talks about adoption God gotta pull you away from the enemy amen because you you he sends you off into this world to establish his purpose and within this world because you're covered with flesh you're going to have you're going to want the desires of your flesh fulfilled by the source of all sinful desires of this world so you're you're going to want the source of the fulfilling of the flesh which means you'll be gravitating towards the enemy not because your predestinated eventually something is going to happen were as you desire more and more it's going to lead into big problems to where you have to call on God and he's going to have people come around to fill that void that was not filled okay now remember we're talking about the children of the enemy watch what he feeds in second chapter verse 2 says second chapter verse 2 it says here's where in in times past ye walked according to the course of this world according to the Prince of the power of the air the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience not in the adults in the children of the and what we're saying adults versus child we're talking about children of the most not children of the Most High children of the enemy those that fulfill the desires of the flesh are considered children of the enemy do you understand what I'm saying because they're fulfilling that desire and and you always think about a child how they won't stuff now how they won't stuff now even as an adult the the the enemy is trying to pop things into your flesh because he is the source of all the sinful desires around here he's the source so he's trying to pump that in and if the more you go to him the more he begins to provide death to you to to all kind of stuff and if he's your provider then he is like your parent and your parent is killing you if you're listening to the devil amen so I wanted you to see that verse there as to Conner you know Amen what I'm trying to teach you here we're in The Times Pass you walk according to the course of this world you know according to the Prince of the power of this end is talking about the devil the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience and when he's talking about disobedient those that rebel against their own parents and people that rebel against God who was the original father of all creation those that rebuild against him children of disobedience he allowed the devil to take you out from him only though until that time comes because God is not gonna force himself on you but what he will do is increase your desire to have that void inside you field and once you started looking to have it filled that's when you begin to discover God because he sends people your way said a whole lot some of y'all probably fast-forward through that but that's okay a lot of that needed to be said there I'm going on here with the Bible study verse six to the praise of his glory or to the praise of the glory of His grace where it he had made us accepted in the beloved in whom we have redemption through his blood the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace now what is Grace sung what is your idea of grace to me and grace is those things that heavenly gift one of the heaven heavenly supplies that allows you to be able to perform or to complete his purpose unspecial II under duress if you will say for example I'm gonna I'm gonna put it Paul talks about how there was some things that was going on that he sought God three times to change something about himself and and the Lord Jesus Christ said to Paul my grace is sufficient for thee my grace or the strength that I'm going to provide you will allow you to accomplish what I what I set out for you to do in the midst of what's trying to hinder you okay it's it's it's some kind of favor that's given to you to allow you to fulfill the very purpose that's placed on your life in spite of anything that's trying to hinder you from doing it it's it's it's called grace it's what's given to you it's almost like a divine energy drink to help you get through the hard time if you will do you understand what I'm saying I don't even I don't drink energy drinks nor do I cast I'm one of the people to do it but if you could think about a energy shot from from from God Himself a strength shot to allow you to accomplish and you know if you take energy drinks most people take those when they're it's so tired but they need to get through whatever it is that they have to do but there's the lack of strength is hindering them they drink their energy drink and then they're able to man you know get this thing handle but that's kind of how God's grace is it surfaces it allows you to be able to uh to carry through it gives you even the time to handle that which he accomplished for you to do so it's saying to the praise of his glory what is his glory glory is those the if you look around you the very the very the very fact that you can you can see you can hear you can touch taste smell walk talk reason that's his glory it is the it is the sing demonstration or the functioning of things that was accomplished by him that's all implication of us grace it is his Majesty according to those things that was created by him it is the testimony of those things the way they function is a display testimony and it's it's the glory of God when you look at the son how the Sun is glittering the heat from it that's his glory the stars that shine The Shining of the stars is his glory amen because they do exactly what he purposed them to do and they're working without flaw it is his glory it is it is his majesty only he can do it amen something that's done that he does that's working and that's powered by him and only done by him that's his glory amen so it says we are his glory look at this to the praise of the glory of His grace wearing he has to made us accepted in in the beloved and it's talking about his son accepted in Jesus in whom we have redemption through his blood the forgiveness of sins according to the richness of His grace now the because of the Lord Jesus Christ because we've made him our Savior and because it was predestined there was a script written that at such - such a time we wouldn't each individual person would make the Lord Jesus Christ his personal Lord and Savior at such a such amount of time what happens is you come into the forgiveness of sins because once you once the Lord Jesus Christ becomes your Lord and Savior you are covered by his blood and being covered by his blood allows you to inherit Redemption power through grace and remember what we said grace is even the time that's allowed for certain things to take place and said so according to the adoption through the Lord Jesus Christ because because we come up under Jesus and because God and Jesus are father and son God being the father Jesus is the son once we come up on it the blood of Jesus we become sons of God amen and now our sins are forgiven amen now watch this verse 8 wherein he has the bound of towards of the Nall wisdom and all prudence Prudence's is understanding is you executing those things that you've learned it's the wisdom that's that's being displayed or executed that's prudence wearing wherewith he had a bounder towards us in all wisdom and prudence having made known unto us the mystery of this wheel of according to the good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself we're just at the beginning of this epistle and and all the great things then we have to cover here it said the mystery of his will no one knew before until things got delivered how do you know that these things were delivered of man cuz God put his spirit into people and they begin to write well no one knew that God would eventually send his son the Lord Jesus Christ to redeem men from sin amen God understood in order to have man and carry out my purpose in my will he's got to be forgiven first cuz every time I look up he's going to the source of this world as far as lustily sins go he's going to the sin he's not sourcing he's not staying on my path he put the Lord Jesus Christ here that we would be redeemed through Jesus and now through Jesus we are given grace that we can accomplish things that we're supposed to do but we come in through the understanding because God decided to reveal what was once hidden from us salvation was once hidden from us no one knew how to get it no one knew that God would send his son until God released the information that through the Holy Ghost into man that he would be able to write it down so now things have been revealed to us and then watch this according to his good pleasure which he has purposed in himself according to his will he's the reason why he did this is because he wanted to be good to us he wanted us to have the best of what we used to had in heaven he wanted us to regain it a man he wanted us to make sure that we have it here and he called it his good pleasure that in the dispensation of the fullness of time he might gather together in one all things in Christ both which are in heaven and which are on earth even in him there's going to come a time to when all things will be redeemed once and for all and it's called the dispensation of times it's when when the redeeming of all things come that when when all things have been put under the Lord Jesus feet when Jesus Christ come and redeem all men's from his sin that is to read us the dispensation of times and it said both which are in heaven and which are on earth and even in him in whom we also have obtained an inheritance being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will it said so the wisdom of God has predestinated us to be able to accomplish his will on earth and then return back into the heavenly places having come into a place greater than that which we left before when we loved we didn't rule but once we come down to earth and we begin to fulfill the desires and the will of God God had had to have predestined us to be able to come in to an inheritance to where we be able to reign reign with his sons as Kings as priests and and once we begin to inherit these things and this is all predestined by the will of God that when we do come back when we do come back into heaven and then when Jesus Christ come and have his millenium Kingdom on earth we will be able to Reem being in a higher position of when we left them that when we came back what happened with Jesus when Jesus left and came back all things was put up under his feet he became all power of heaven and earth was given unto him guess what when you leave and didn't come back because you are with the Lord Jesus Christ he begins to dismiss to dispense dominions to you because we are reigning under and because we've accepted him because we just as Jesus did fulfill the the desires and the will of our Father going on and and all this was being perpetrated by the will of God his will is like counsel to him it begins to his will begins to inform himself his wisdom began to form inform himself on how things ought to be you know I mean if you think about this planet lining up this planet being placed where it is specifically where our Sun is how it gets the appropriate amount of sunlight the appropriate the appropriate amount of warmth guess what the whole engineering the whole architectural design of that whole thing God's wisdom spoke to him and told him this is how it's supposed to be his wisdom was like counseled to himself and told him this is how it's supposed to be and so it was amen verse 12 that we should be the first praise of his glory who first trusted in Christ so those that begin to receive the Lord Jesus Christ the Christian Jews first cuz there are some Jews remember everything goes to the Jews first there are those that rejected him but there are those that accepted him the Christian Jews first and then the Gentiles those that first trusted in Christ Jesus you know whenever the devil try to go to God and say look very no good there the devil is the accuser of brethren but anytime that you have some money accepting and trusting in the Lord Jesus that is automatic praise to God because it's his glory it's showing that whatever he designed is working the way that he functioned it to do so we can't help but becomes praise to his glory in whom he also trusted after you heard the word of truth the gospel of your salvation of whom also that you believed you were sealed with that holy promise the Holy Spirit of promise so once you come in to to accept in the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior you're automatically sealed with the promise saying once you accept Jesus he seals you with the promise saying you will be able to come back and live with us as you once did you're going to come back to your holy estate greater than that which you left amen going on and it's a promise to you amen verse 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purpose purchase possession until the praise of his glory what is the earnest you ever going buy a house and the first thing they say we need earnest money it is like it is like a downpayment on that house before the finance the star amen well the earnest the earnest of our inheritance there was a down payment on it amen which is made by the Lord Jesus Christ when he purchased us through his death that was the down payment on the inheritance that we got come and it's earnest money if you will which the earnest of our inheritance or the downpayment of our inheritance until the redemption of the purpose purposed or skills me the purchased possession until the praise of his glory so it was once we get once Jesus Christ come that purchase that he made by his death and through his blood gets redeemed when he come the down payment on it was the blood that He shed for us that's the down payment verse 15 wherefore I also after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and love until all the saints cease not to get things for you making mention of you in my prayers so now as Paul begin to understand spall begin to talk to the people in this letter about how whether they are in this in Christ Jesus as far as being part of the body he first begins to tell them that them being where they are today is by no happenstance it's not something that just they woke up one day that just happened by coincidence everything was written and happening according to the way God has written it so now after he let them know that they are important because they were purposed there in place the purposed and their important once that happens he begins to talk to him now wherefore I also after heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and love until All Saints he's not to give things for you making mention of you in my prayers he says so now as God has used me and others to help establish the body of Christ that way I've heard reports on the great things that you guys have been doing in the midst of all the negativity around you I can't help but give God thanks to see his will come to pass concerning you this is what Paul is saying verse 17 that the god of our Lord Jesus Christ the father of glory me may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him you ever come in to UM you never have an epiphany you have a wake up and you've been given thought to some and all of a sudden it begins to register it begins to click and all of a sudden it's like the greatest thing my wife recently was talking about she drinks a uh you know drinks a lot of tea right and she drank a lot of tea without drinking a lot of water and what was happening is she she become dehydrated because of course tea is like a diuretic and send you to the bathroom and she that it was only being replaced with more tea and no water and all this caffeine was drying her out and she she read somewhere where you have to drink a lot of water when you drink caffeinated drinks you know and she started drinking water and things just made sense to her things she just it was like a light coming on and now she's happy to have been enlightened by such information that she's just now coming into the knowledge of and she's building upon that which she had just learned something that may be simple and simplistic to someone else whereas she just got it and it was like wow all kind of buzzers are going off and and how much better she feels having to now come into the understanding that she has to compensate for that which she's losing to drink more water feels a whole lot better but she had gotten an epiphany after reading and and understanding things begin to click well if we see the scriptures here it's saying that once you ask us being with God and because we need to know what it is we're supposed to do and how it is we're supposed to do it he begins to show you the importance of yourself concerning his will and this revelation knowledge it's sometime it's he's revealing being the inheritance of what you're going to come into or sometimes he's revealing a function of the kingdom of God to you that you never knew before and when it happens once these things are revealed to you all kind of buzzard stone blowing off it starts to make so much sense and and that's revelry so he said that God gave you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him because anything that you're learning about the kingdom of God you're learning about God himself because he's the king of his kingdom and anything that you're learning about yourself you're learning about God who purposed your body to work in a manner that it does and so once you're learning about yourself you're learning about him amen Wow God is bad he's awesome and that's what it is to be enlightened with revelation knowledge going on in verse 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that you may know what is the hope of his calling concerning you and what the riches of the glory of this inheritance is in the Saints once you start to understand how it's important for you to be in place because you are part of the body of his son the Lord Jesus Christ once you understand how important you are you begin to function as though you are needed have you ever been to a job where you thought you wasn't needed and your boss act like he didn't care about what you could do what you were doing and what you could do he when your boss act like you can be easily replaced you're there because they're doing you a favor you wouldn't you didn't perform at maximum level for the company you only there to receive a paycheck for yourself but if you ever work out a company where they see the best in you and they know that the skills and gifts that you bring to a tape that you bring to their table once it connects with everybody else the productivity level is massive they start to realize your importance well that's how it is in the kingdom of God when you're in the kingdom of God yo Pro once you start to connect to other people within the kingdom see they can't bring to the table what you're bringing everybody brings their own individual things that God assigned to them but once everything clicks the productivity level concerning the purpose of God it's massive it's this massive such as the case here when you talks about you know the things that we come into what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe according to the working of his mighty power once you come in to the understanding of who you are in him then he begins to reveal himself as a whole you don't panic when there is just calls to panic when everybody else is taking things and and and and and buying it buying it off the shelf locking the doors and they're looking out they're scared you're not reacting like they're reacting because the power of God is working within you amen the greatness of his power in us who believe those who've accepted the Lord Jesus Christ verse 20 which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in heavenly places and that's he said the scripture said the same thing the same power that was at work when Christ Jesus was raised from the dead it's the same power that works in you when you are functioning as you were purposed to do so he said it's that same power that lifted the Lord Jesus up from the dead and brought him back into heaven and set him on a throne in heaven and gave him gave him a rank made him a ranking official if you will made his son heir to the kingdom amen verse 21 and and such as his title and Dominion far above all principalities and powers when you think about all principalities and powers they're talking about and physically here you're talking about presidents you're talking about ambassadors you're talking about Prime Minister's any titles here on earth Jesus Christ is over that now when you get into heaven when you get into spiritual world the enemy has different levels of Anarchy if you've not anarchy the the the governing title the governing bodies of the spiritual world you know how we have lieutenants we have captain's we have chiefs we have commanders sergeants of course lieutenants those ranking officials such as the enemy have in the spiritual world but it said no matter what the enemy has Jesus Christ once he once God brought him up into heaven it set him on his right-hand side I made him heir to the King Kingdom he set him above any ranking official both spiritually and physically in the world now and the world to come there is no greater individual there is no greater spirit there is no greater one no greater name than Jesus Christ in this world now and the world to come in this physical world and in the spiritual world Jesus is above all dominions amen and that's that power that elevated Jesus to the top you know amen and that same power that did that works in you today to accomplish the will of God if you let it and watch this let me finish verse 21 far above all principalities and powers and mites and dominions every name that is named not only in this world but also in that which is to come and when we talk about that world which is to come Jesus Christ will reign for a thousand years that's when a dispensation of time come Jesus will reign for 1,000 years and he's gonna reign until the enemy is placed under his feet once the enemy is placed under his feet that's going to have his takes about thousand years once all that happens he's going to issue the kingdom back to was filed during him and his father going to rule and then verse 22 he have put all things under his feet and gave him to be the head over all things to the church and him being a head of all things to the church we are the Lord Jesus Christ body Jesus Christ been the head he the head is above in heaven the body is here on earth amen and so us being the body of the Lord Jesus Christ we all have a particular function but he is our head you can think about him standing up tall and his head reaching up into heaven and his body in his legs everything is down here his he's head up their body down here amen and we get our orders from our King Jesus Christ verse 23 which is the body the fulfill the fullness of him that filleth in all things all in all in all so that's what I just got done talking to you about last verse I want to share with you go with me real quick to first Corinthians 15 chapter first Corinthians 15 chapter verse 23 to 28 verse 23 to 28 I know this was kind of long here and we've talked about some deep things but I know some of these things probably not all but some of them needed to be stated amen first Corinthians 15 chapter verse verse 23 to 28 now watch what this says here and it's talking about the rule of Jesus Christ but every man in his own order crisis his firstfruits afterwards they are Christ's at his coming then cometh the end when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God even the father when he shall put down all rule and all authority and power so Christ will reign for a thousand years until all things have been put under him once that happened he had transferred the kingdom to his father and said in verse 25 he must reign until he has put all enemies under his feet the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death for he that hath put he that hath put all things under his feet for he hath put all things on his feet but when he had said that all things are put under his feet it is manifest that it that he is expected which did put all things under his feet and when all things shall be subdued unto him then shall the son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him that God may be all in all and so it sent four thousand years when Jesus come and the dispensation of times when he comes he's going to collect us amen and he's going to establish what's called a millennium Kingdom here amen and when he established his millennium Kingdom the devil would be locked up for a thousand years to allow the Sun to rule once once the once the thousand years are over with the devil will be released then the Lord Jesus Christ would do battle with them and take him and he's going to triumph over the enemy once he tried triumph over the enemy the enemy had be cast it withstand judgment standing standing in judgment and be locked and in the midst of judgment and be sent to the lake of fire if you will and once that happens Jesus Christ were transferred the kingdom over to his father but as far as we go concerning this we are heirs whatever Christ come into we come into with Christ because he adopted God adopted us through the Lord Jesus Christ so if Christ is an heir when we're near he's king and He allows us to rule when the time comes and that's this major and and Paul in Ephesians is reiterating how important it is you know and that that the love of God you didn't get here because you work so hard you were chosen to be in the place that you are in amen so we'll stop right there I know I went long on 23 verses so we'll stop right there and we'll pick up the the other recording here on infusions to let other time but I only I want to take a short time to talk to you that you started to understand you were relating to what we were saying that you've noticed that within your life things have been out of control and you you've been trying to define what has been going on with you lately and you used to have a handle o things that it didn't get as bad now as it's starting to get bad and you're going and you've gone back to the way you used to go about fixing whatever was out of place and it's no longer working you're starting to see how you're losing handle I want to tell you how you can get a handle it I want to tell you what's going on and how to get a handle on it well what's going on is you're coming closer to this time to be used by God and if you keep going back to try to fix it the way you used to fix it it's not going to work it's not supposed to work because there is a time that you're coming into that where God has purposed you he's predestined you to perform those things that he purposed you to do when he relocated you from heaven to earth you're coming into that time and you may be rebellious because the suit of sin the sensors that are built into the suit is saying that you wearing is trying to go off in and and ring trying to alert you that it needs a refilling or whatever it is that's been keeping you from God the problem is you're no longer content by those things and even though that you're not content no longer by those things you keep going back out of habit huh and so as you're going back out a habit worse things are happening to you now you know why because God has purposed you to do what he has purposed you to do the very reason that he relocated you from heaven earth you will purpose and you're coming into that time you can't keep fighting it huh you can you're fighting against the creator of the world of the universe you're fighting against you're no longer fighting against the devil you're resisting the wrong one you're resisting God when you need to be resisting the devil the devil is trying to keep you from the purpose that God have established in your life huh so now that you know what's going on it's easy to say how to fix it stop resisting God hmm stop resisting that's how you fix it you're resisting the wrong one he's trying to kill you before he have you come over to God's side because he know that whatever purpose got for you can't be no good for the devil he already knows this so he he's trying to help you make your mind up against God he wants to keep you at his kid like he love you what parent loved they cared and want to kill they kid oh it don't work like that you know he's trying to kill you now here's what you have to do yeah accept the Lord Jesus Christ because God loves you if he didn't love you do you know how much of an honor it is to be called a child of God through adoption you know I mean maybe you were a citizen in heaven but when you come back you come back as a child of God a son of God how did you have you thought about that when you leave you come back greater than when you left because you are now a part of the the death and the resurrection of the Lord Jesus car you come in through adoption to be called God's own child that's major and mighty to know that your father is the king of all things made what are you waiting for God's arms and heart has been wide open his son's arms and heart have been wide open waiting for you to run to him waiting for the devil's pit is wide open waiting for you to run and fall into what are you waiting for look when you if you're ready let's do this if you're not ready you turn this but if you're ready then let's do this together I got you I'm ready I'm here with you I want to send you over here to God he's already sent us to usher you to him the Holy Ghost is already tapping you on the shoulder tapping you on your heart saying let's do this my job was just to show it away but I want to stand with you right now and here's what I want you to do I want you to repeat after me because this is a confession of your faith and all you're doing is reconnecting to the umbilical cord that's between you and the Lord Jesus Christ are you doing this reconnecting this is the way you get through the Father this is the way that your umbilical cord connects to the father it connects to the son amen we're going to re-establish the power of attorney over your life amen the devil should no longer have power over your life we want to re-establish the power of attorney over your life you're ready here's what we do you say this with me now you say this with me if you believe and you want Jesus to be Lord of your life if you want to come back to God right now say this with me you say God I'll come to you just as you know where I've been and you know where I'm going father I call on you right now to forgive me for all of my sins and you tell God this you say god I believe now Jesus is your only begotten son whom you loved so and you sent your only begotten child down to this earth and he gained his life out of love for us you will allowed him to give his life out of love for us he gave his life and allowed men to take his life and as he was killed on a third day you resurrected him from the dead in all your power and you set him on your right hand side and made him king of all things and now you call on the Lord Jesus Christ you say Jesus I call on you right now to clean me up with your blood you say Jesus forgive me of all my room you say I'm ready to make you Lord and Savior of my life call on Jesus you said Jesus I call on you right now to live in me and to live through me from this day forward if you minute and you've confessed it then praise God you've just been saved now watch this praise got my brother and my sister you have just been saved now watch this we got to get you baptized remember what we just got done reading far above all principalities powers mites and dominions and every name that is named there is no other name under heaven to which men must be saved by a man you can only be saved by the name of the Lord Jesus Christ therefore we got to get you baptized and when you get baptized you are baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ amen so what you want to do is call a man of God he's going to bring you to a tub whether it be in your home or his place of worship he's going to totally submerge you into the water which represents us dying in Christ and then he's going to bring you right back up immediately after you go down he'll bring you right back up which represents the resurrection of Christ and as being resurrected within Christ amen you want to make sure you get that done contact one in your neighborhood we don't sprinkle we baptize fully submerge a man make sure you get that
