THE LATE LATE SHOW IN LONDON.
this was much more emotional than I expected. I don't really like james corden or carpool karaoke but that moment where he talked about his grandfather was very touching.
Epic! Also the longest karaoke there ever was (23mins) which is understandable considering it's f*ckin Paul McCartney... but still some parts are missing (mainly the Beatles statue visit), dunno why they edited that out
I actually started tearing up. Imagine being at that pub. I bet it was pretty emotional for Paul as well. I’m so glad i got to watch that. Had the biggest smile on my face the entire video.
I've always been fond of Paul McCartney, and this wonderful tour only strengthens that. Had never heard of James Corden, but he clearly lives in the moment-- he got teary while singing "Let It Be" with Paul, and then he got so emotional he almost couldn't accept Paul's invitation to sing "Hey, Jude." What an incredible video!
My favorite 5 seconds may have been the man in the crowd outside Paul's house shouting out that "Me brother was named after you!. We played your songs at Dad's funeral!"
The personal impact that band has had on millions of people is hard to imagine.
Paul McCartney is the greatest living icon ...it will be a loss when he's not here in 20 yrs
I'm so jealous of those people who got to be at such a small intimate concert with A BEATLE HOLY FUCK! It looked like they were all fans. People with Beatles tattoos and bags and what not. They were probably pre-screened because it was such a small setting. Maybe still a surprise though? Maybe they thought they were just gonna be on the show? Thoughts?
while he's an old man, I would disagree with the sadly part.. the opposite of growing old is the sad part.. sadly we never got to see John grow old...
I love Paul so much, but watching so many of his more recent interviews makes me realize that he's so much like an old man who tells the same stories over and over again.
