winning never dying and the US grew over time through a combination of Word of Mouth recommendations and the increasing accessibility of anime through streaming platforms as more people were exposed to the series and its distinctive blend of humor and animation a small but dedicated group of fans began to emerge these fans bro not that small show is off the wall humor any reverent take on the action genre okay it's not an irreverent take dumb fun I feel I feel like people trying to make it more than it is end up hurting it more than help and sought out others who shared their also that Arts fire it was awesome the growth of the series following was also fueled by its popularity among the otaku Community who appreciated it it's not to Japanese pop culture and references to other it has very little interest when it comes to catering its sense of humor to political correctness even back in 2010 the series had no issue making fun of the Catholic Church showing the priest garter will be happy especially me because I love chaos the potential issue for the show like I can only imagine that any of us that are not on Twitter on Xvideos only online are going to be hearing a lot about this show one way or another I hope so because if that happens there's more hype and then when I react and I'll get canceled which in turn will only make me stronger ladies and gentlemen we come have to wait and see if something is shocking and sardonic as Penny and stalking could still succeed in this current media landscape things have changed so much since 2012 though it can also be argued that people getting upset over painstalking is nothing new since they've been upset it's scared to be so much fun I love watching people get upset over stupid things for even back in the day when it first was released but nowadays uh it could get ugly though also this could completely like backfire on the detractors because hey controversy sells it might make that's right exactly that much more popular I mean hey look at that Harry Potter game that came out oh God I never heard of it but I saw reports saying like it's one of the best-selling games or most streamed games on Twitch so controversy sales I guess also it's worth noting that this is an anime an anime itself tends to operate by a different set of rules compared to Western animation and its sensibilities but for me my biggest fear of all is seeing the creators of Penny and stalking compromise their vision and buckle under the pressure don't dude if that happens I will be so sad sure in order to play it safe in order to avoid kind of problematic backlash yeah screw that I don't like that at all stick to your guns yeah Something's Gonna Be nuanced on some bad jokes you can leave behind but if you like completely strip the show of any of its cynicism of its sense of humor if that happens then it's not the same show like there are some unsavory jokes that were never funny to me to begin with that animation right it's surviving on the unmute there's literally one person that makes all the decisions I think that's so much healthier than someone that has to appease Brands and it has to appease mobs and it has to peace people and they need an appease a board that's a much harder place to juggle which is why I love that hell of a boss is doing so well that japanian stocking can as well so yes I recommend panty and stalking the writing the jokes the characters are not perfect but it is definitely a unique spectacle that oozes Unapologetic style and passion hopefully season two can improve on the original series and rock the boat in a good way with his current media landscape one that is much more sensitive and difficult to Traverse but folks could you imagine this show coming back today what if it was released now yeah the show that inspired panty and stalking the show that was so offensive so shocking that mid-2000s Comedy Central canceled it drawn together is literally the
