hey it's me it's me and sparing T here with the Penguins magic Shawn today I'll be doing nice little mountain scene something we had done a little bit and I get so many questions on doing more mountains today I got 16 much 20 cameras same as I normally do I got covered with amazing why there's a thin nice little even coat of amazing life they'll get the job done for us and I'll have the colors go across the screen for you like I have them on my palette I mean my two-inch landscape brush today and we'll go to the little fellow blue using Grimm Bakr pre-tested paints they're just fantastic don't take much of the painter to get you going so this little fellow blue and let's go up here I'm using X stroke they're just a back end forehand stroke something we normally do this X stroke it's nice X's and it'll get you going then we'll work it down an amazing watt will mix with this paint and we'll get lighter and lighter as we go down towards the horizon line so that's just a fantastic way to get your skies or backgrounds done really easily don't have to mix up three or four different blues just put one blue on there and go pound on it go and appends if you want your sky lighter or darker if you want your clowns to really pop for you make your sky a little darker and I think we might have a little bit of water today so let's hold two inch brush back up and again looks a little blue and then here the bottom will go straight across make that flat water sizzling maryann water day or not it's just a great way to have some background stuff underneath your colors you read all that wine on the canvas now I'm gonna leave a little bit of a gap here except can create some instant Miss for me just an easy way to do it I make more in darkness up a little bit I'm gonna take a little more sailor blue I'm gonna grab a little touch of ivory black just a tiny little bit just to darken it up just a little bit let's go back up here now that's fantastic that make our clouds really pop if you want you can do some swirls up here and I'll kind of get you some movements in your skies over a cloud to be very easy for it's nice trying to paint the clouds if you do these little swirls if you're making a real detail look at stuff but move me in your sky a little bit of movement and I always make you shine look more realistic so you go outside and you look at the sky in a nice blue day you'd be able to see all these little movements in here and that can be different cloud in the sky and they like that song look up a little bit more that same color you see I right into the water just makes it nicer even okay you swap out the brush on a paper towel like cleaning off or anything I couldn't blend it out nice and soft don't take much to do it with these are natural bristle brushes and that makes it easy for it to blend paying wet stuff dude all these little scratchy to see a lot of scratches on paintings and things and if you do getting scratching your paint you can use our Hague brush that's really soft real soft brush already see why one do now so I'm taking my fan brush number six fan brush and want a little bit of titanium white just a little bit of it not too much just a little bit then I'll grab a little drum bucker red put just a tiny little touch that in just a little bit Rani both sides are loaded up nice and even screw up here now we're going to use nice little tiny circles or backward sees little tie they like this here don't take much and we get a nice little beautiful detail clowns in here another I'll take the two inch brush and give them monkey-faced on it makes a big bushy looking big fluffy looking clowns a little bit more I don't want too much going on in my skies I just just nice little background to it not too much I want a big mountain in here today big strong mountains there we go another thing I hold brush this way and I'll do circles and what does it kind of blends a little bit the base of that for me a soft soft soft stroke and also craziest a little small cloud at the base of that I don't think my 2 inch brush you getting it still has a blue line it has beed out a little bit I'm gonna do an extra go soft extra that's a base then we'll horse straight like this and give it a tiny tiny little bit of a fluff to it just a little fluff you kind of go back and forth just a little bit just a little bit let's make our mountain now it's like a big strong mountain will take us right here and scrape it up it's a little bit thin where it's kind of mixed with the amazing one take a little of the Sailor blue and ivory black some blues and crimson in there those are great colors make a nice base for a mountain point out Flint you get you a little roll paint around the edge of your knife let's go up here now I thought we'd make a mountain the dad's kind of strong and big and strong mountain up here today now I'm putting a lot of pressure into this canvas you can take it's a strong canvas very strong that's one nice strong Mountain if we can do many people are asking for those nuts wintry mountains nice white blue mountains all we want is nice outside shapes so we're looking for these nice edges to them and sometimes like to leave these little broken spots if we can see those little broken sponsor pick is a nice little details into this mountain already that was going to scrape it out scrape it then we take a paint on it and it's kind of mixing around where the tape always that good thing that's a good stuff and I'll have to do it right here too I bubble up a little bit nothing's getting me sorry for some mist or whatever there's a nice little sparkling spots on this mountain all right all right now let's take your so two-inch brush someone breath you're using the kind of pull expand a little bit pull it out and then I'll take this brush kind of do C strokes or swoosh emotions and hotter and liner I go down to make it miss make it go this way whatever way you want to go and so now it's time for you to decide where you want your life to come from you want come from the right or the left if you're left-handed it'll be a lot easier for you to highlight on the left side of the mountain but I'm right-handed and most of my most of the time I like to paint my house come from the right side so what bought the old palette knife and will take this pan here and smoosh it up there need a nice thick paint something nice and creamy get a nice little roll paint right there up here and we don't use any pressure on this knife just wanted to kill just let it down like that I like to use kind of a motion like I'm just jabbing it a little bit and that gets his nice clumps of paint to really work for you you go down like that there's no little swoop be nothing right there the dough novice go down real smooth it takes a great good paint to do it with some people say if I got cheap paint you know or I think working around how can I get to work well what you can do there's a couple of ways you can get to work for you you can put it in the freezer let it freeze for a little bit now sticking it up a lot or you can put on piece of paper towel that's if you got the wrong paint and then it working for you now so putting the freezer where you can put it on a piece of newspaper or paper towel or something you get some that oil out with it but mace you have to use the remm about your fan so they just it's already done for me I have to do anything extra alrighty so let's see here maybe you want this to kind of down with me more like that hockey's big enough some mountains like that so let's take and make a shadow color hook titanium mountain there's a tiny bit of phthalo blue with that there's a little bit make it nice and marbling just like that and we'll see what we what we get up here let's go back up here and I think I'll start on these smaller Peaks and put these in here it's a nice good old wintery mountain no pressure on man no pressure we put pressure on this knife it's not gonna work for you not gonna work for you don't work at all only a tiny little piece of my knife here the small end and I'll go pretty little small details up here very easy to get in there with this knife it's nuts two different blades on it so you can do that we'll go back into my titanium white now you can get a little raw paint right there go back up here and just figure out where you want to where you want these to touch back up at forever you want to be you can want a questions on these type of mountains hope this helps you out a little bit that way not to you all do make it's more interesting I'll take a little bit of mountain color already had mixed up I'll get a little royal paint let's go back up here now right here I'm gonna use this and one pull this mountain peak right out from that mountain won't take much to do it just like that right there and see it pulls that route there you can even do it appear a little bit if you want to there's a tiny little bit of that mountain color it makes it pull right out from there you can make it come out from right here too a little bit comes up that one alright see it's fun little things they can do that get that will get your painting to sell so those little extras really get people excited about it and I get excited about knocking hard talk so buck start talking too loud or too fast for you just comment below let me know just slow down a little bit I think it's so excited with all these nice things come together and you just can't help it alright so only take your so two-inch brush and so make it some miss down here so I'm just going to take this pressure just crunch a little bit just a little bit it's follow the shapes that your mountains going then we'll give it a little bit of a pull X stroke might even grab a little bit of titanium white with this you get that to come in there just a little bit you may not be able to see it on here but it just gives you this that a little more strength you may need to get that mr. come through for you I don't think it's a brush part to some of that mountain color here's our nice little trick you can do once I guess and wrap this one around so just that easy we just wrap that old mountain around and it can be trees or whatever you want that's they turn anything nice little trick you can do all right easy easy easy anybody can do this painting you make a paint all right not something decide what I want to do in the background underneath this big mountain you can decide you can maybe you want another mountain in there you can do whatever you want to do but I kind of think that I want some some land back there so I want to you I want to mix some orange color up take some more ivory black phthalo blue some crimson set green just a little bit those colors and mix them all up real nice so make sure you swim you mixing scraped it up off the pallet and turn it over that way you're mixing those bottom colors makes it nice and thoroughly apparent good a minute of paint I don't think it'll brush I'm gonna order it in there after I wash it off I'm gonna give it a little bit of a crunch this brushes can take it there may not have nice bristles so you could crunch it do whatever you want to do so I got a crunched up let's go back here and once the quorums gonna give a little bit of a push up like this put some land back here little bit of land you can get a little bit of a pulldown canvas is wet there just pull down nice and easy that's it easy for you okay so now we'll just take up some more brush I got crushed up the same way you know maybe we got a few little trees lit back here just a few little trees maybe too many separate I don't make them all one straight line because I can get kind of boring I like to break them up a little bit member is a warm little bit they're warmer here taller ones are all kinds of different tree shapes you can reload this brush and get a nice chisel on and then you can create some nice little evergreen trees so got nice and loaded on both sides go back up here then we got a ever great laser out there take one corner touch it and this go down your camp as you go down push harder and harder and harder that way it gets that base filled up and then we can just do some just kind of impression some faraway trees everybody knows what's there but if you put some limbs out there like that another evergreen trees or some big pine tree us backer and if you put it on the water long as you do some simple things like that don't know exactly what you're talking about back here it was beating out a little bit you and that's a little cool across I'm gonna clean fan brush now I could be at number three or number six it doesn't really matter I'm like a tiny little touch of some I'm amazing want any tiny little bit of some cadmium yellow and tiny touch a set green I'm coming here mix this up down here I don't want to pollute all my yellow it should take much I want put a little green back here so we know there's a tiny touch of grass back here I'm gonna do too much but just a little bit so the viewer know there's a little bit grass back a little greenery going on and just dark Becker it's a little bit of a hope back here okay nurse now I'm sure you clean your knife and I suppose a little water linebacker but if you make you just straight as possible because if you make them crooked I'll make you penny lights going off the canvas so make astray as you can you may want to add a little touch of amazing walk to it if it's not sticking that good for you make sure you keep it as straight as possible a little trick you can do - and you got grey on your canvas going up and down sideways so you can look at the side way that kind of follow that grain a little bit you know help you get those straight little lines okay no too much better looks like a nice place to catch a bass or something alright I think we might need some more of this color so let's mix up some colors and black and blue Crimson's percent green all those nice dark colors don't take much of these just a little bit this is we get a nice little pile if you got a lot of painting finished here knowing all right let's do a lush medium do some evergreens over here maybe let's take this whole big Brush you get a little crazy with this big brush here the old bridge wants crunch it right into the skin up to the palate right to the paint just push it in there just brush push it into that paint it's gonna leave the bristles open let's go back up here maybe ears up we've got monkey-faced on a gram they're the nuts tree not through here just crunch it down just like that give a monkey face darkness there's all these little could take it to its wyman in their face on it they're they're gonna matter of seconds where are you guys heading almost finished dinner it's tickets now you may be wondering what that over here well we got a lot a little trick am I supposed to miss coming through there or something there we go I still get maybe some more black into this blue you can make some buzz you brush and it makes it even more crazier because you get all these different colors going in there already now t11 do over on this side I'm taking a little hike brush this is a two inch fake brush and this will be green whenever it goes onto the market I'm just going to really lightly soften it really loudly and we can crease missed that easy there's a mess back here goes off into nowhere maybe we take a little touch of amazing white and titanium white we're on the old corner of this heck brush around the corner okay it was on this side so you don't want too strong when it reaches this side with people knowing there's some mist in here little touch missed it can be early in the morning whatever already matter yes there we go a little bit um yes not easy that way you can just cover the corner up now you got something that's there that's up come up with nothing new it's a little mist and honestly when this dries to some novel techniques you can do with miss we might we may be on the show here let's take the pallet knife I think a little bit of burnt sienna a little touch of black kind of makes a nice burnt umber if you use that a little bit more white I'm use a backside of my knife your nice little real paint let's go back up here I don't put a little tree trunk impressions in this tree you have to be you know I mean I'll be able to see it on here but I put a little more white in there just a little bit let me console scratch into the twigs and limbs real easy I think should be relaxing and fun and do what you wanna do don't listen everybody else thing whatever you want to paint I'll take a one inch landscape brush I'm going through some amazing white and then some of the cambium yellow I'm sent green let's go up here I'm gonna tap on some nice highlights and so shouldn't take much pressure at all shouldn't take any pressure really because you load your brush route and your brushes and make directly it shouldn't take much of a touch I want to touch on my limbs and bushes and things with Leafs I think can be a little too yellow easy but maybe my a little more Satmar into that change the flavor a little bit as you go maybe there's a little bit of one over here I'm if you leave the darks in here as you go it's really the darks because if you don't you're it's gonna look like mud if you don't do that so you want to be muddy on you now I'm gonna take this person when we make our dog paw with it unless you're pulling through the paint and you're creating it around the edge just pull up through the paint and you'll get a nice rounded edge but we isn't writing that you make some bushes with let's go back up here to the canvas now it's not where you wanted to be on maybe reform right here just follow you bush there is maybe there's another one right here and they could be more over here these falling shape make sure you make sure you go all the way around with it your that around this it needs these are some wild bushes you're not tangled reading so let's whenever I was designing my brush I want him to Bush a brush that could make a bush look wild into the wild and so that's when I heard his unease brush I want a nice soft bristle that could really do this bushy just fall out this brush so now we got these town where he wants the mornings that maybe won't change the color a little bit maybe we'll add a little burnt sienna now make a little ochre eat on him that's golden tone and we'll put one over here why not you can do the shape and then come back into the middle see that it's real easy to have to do real easy to appearance another one right there maybe we want to pass in here someone can take it it's a knife and what kind of Sketchup my path that's simple damn take some Browns my black might be some that true color with you who cares I'm just dark nuts not starts to brown color a little blue also in it will make a nice almost black so it's almost a band dr. Brown nice little row let's go back in here say one nice little path that comes in here no way you can you can kind of walk through here go fishing back in there nice fishing spot nice little pass we ain't done on path a long time so that we do one on the show today anyway just take the little titanium white with that maybe we'll touch blue in there that's not a silicon color she has nothing marbled don't over mix it then you get him natural paint and that's Marbley so watch me paint this will come in no presh luck you're highlighting the mountain it's like you're hiding it make a little that just we're blue in there kind of breaks it up a little bit there we go no one has some wild grasses wild grasses what's wild grass some think this brush won't tap into it like this okay then we'll flip it over because now it's kind of all nice and open but this sense compact that sounds open I'm going to push up like this what that doesn't make some instant wild tall grasses it just looks perfect and I'm gonna take a little that read to hear it slower it will touch that that's a nice color then maybe a little more yellow in there there we go real simple painting today not really hard to do let's do some limbs and you're just a little bit little take this a color start color does really matter a little mineral spirits or you can use amazing clear maybe we get a little mold when it comes out here I'm like I maybe that'll dead little dead bush or something where we go you know they cook this one here I might have a finished picture I may do a few might do a few Tom grasses in here or something well quickly but you got all day to paint these paintings you know I'm just trying to show you some quick little things you can do there could be a little little post in here or something if we got enough you could see this come through give little posts or two in here and that'll kind of help bring the eye where you want to go back into that path luminarias looks fine to me okay I think we got to finish little painting here and with that I think I'll sign this one I'm gonna take a little amazing white then I'm gonna sign it over here hope you enjoy painting with me today this one's a nice simple little mountain scene that got a lot of questions on it on how to do these I'm hope it's helped you out a little bit little tips on how you can make your paint a little batter for you got the correct paint let's make this paint work for you like a lot of people live all around the world with questions about their paints and stuff and can really get to these good stuff so you can use put in your freezer you can put it on some paper towels and put on your pallet whatever which way you want to do it okay there we go the nice little mountain scene I think anybody would be happy to learn or paint it so this one here is ready for their art gallery so is yours I'll see you real soon
