mrs. Bowles chutney mrs. Bowles chutney John from America water from Australia good so today we're doing something I would say I think it's fun and it's things we bring back from home when we can visit our families in our countries I bring back many many things but I just bought two examples today and you guys mm-hmm also did drink everything sorry all right let's get started let's start with you John with me okay well I actually have a few things that I like to bring but to be a bit more simple and to be a bit more like the things that you might need and then when you go back to your country unites need to replace I have two items that I absolutely need have them here with me just a second one of them is definitely a odorant I know this is a stereotype but some of us do need deodorant deodorant deodorant is it bad it's one of my favorite deodorants it is a natural deodorant um and I think that it's quite hard to find deodorant that fits me in Korea so I have to bring this back I think I have like six or seven at home probably expiring soon the other thing I need it's because the kind of pain medication is a bit weak I think for me in Korea so I actually bring my own I bring the biggest ones possible so two things I can't live without is my pain medication and that sounds so bad so I've always in pain and I'm always steep I'm glad you asked Chantelle ah cuz when I come back to Korea I always have to bring Vegemite Vegemite when salt isn't enough yes um Vegemite is one of my favorite spreads for many people it's very stereotypically Australian but for me I grew up on it and yes it is super salty many people hate it I like um I know that South Africa and England have their own version it is salty I've tried it once in my life yeah well I need to try it the proper way which is like what bread I just tried it on like a cracker and I think that wasn't my best way to first experience it but I'm I'm all up for trying good monetary no but that combination is perfect wait wait do you do you mix it with butter of course yes okay yeah you got to go with butter otherwise it seems a bit like maybe the breads a bit dry and Vegemite is so popular in Australia that Vegemite is actually made on the street called Vegemite oh I just we give that out right now one even my way one Vegemite Wayne and Melvin yet so whereas John brings deodorant for his armpits and drugs I bring this for my armpits all right yeah what is my we need to bring in my big bag of nothing simple PG tipps you know the most simple kind of I want to say what's it the most consumed tea bags in England this is just PG tipps they're very simple I what what makes PG tipps stand out from the other ever consumed so be honest they're just so cheap what a great way to sell P it's great big great it is for me I just grew up on them I think the other families in England kind of tea bags okay my turn yes I literally bring a whole suitcase of things I have two suitcases one for my clothes and wonderful things a lot of stress of my mom trying to help me fit everything in so what happened last time um I couldn't fit everything in and I had to leave behind all my summer clothes and my mom had to post the summer class not just food like things in general I also brings my role on the same issue I have a favorite brand and I can't buy it in Korea okay firstly at first a bottle cap okay yeah it's an ointment Sam back Zomba yes is it a better way yes and you can smell it oh it's vicks vapor rub no it's not oh yeah not B you can put this under your armpits yeah yeah in my opinion big snows better okay so it kind of herbal type of thing it's an ointment I use it for for lip balm at night before going to bed but people put it on like if they've burned themselves it's like my mom would always joke and like there's something's wrong she'll just suck it's quite popular in South African I always have a have top whatever and then the next one is mrs. Bowles chutney mrs. Bowles yeah I'd like to know what Mr Bowles and do this on all kinds of things I like to have a bottle of this not yet because otherwise it expires too quickly this is a brand new one okay sure yeah I'll make I'll make some dishes with all kinds of things and like we have a special dish called property South African Dacian this is like perfect with Parvati and some curries and my mom makes like a chutney chicken dish that I like to make it's quite easy so yes this is like south africans in korea always like oh say yeah i actually bought this from another south african here show your head extra in the table sorry mrs. balls that I brought along I usually have many other things like snacks and I bring tears why I didn't think of bringing my tea because Sam I take it yeah I would steal that it's not [Applause] [Music] two things but it's a paste gochujang and some Jam yeah I mean the flavors are totally different you using the different things but it's both like to paste substance and I have I I take it home every time cuz my my best friend likes the Sun John and my brother likes the gochujang so he makes us you mix us like the the red pepper paste to the kochujang with like meat or rice or whatever and when he makes noodles the Korean noodles ramen and I don't know how my friend eats I'm gonna have to like like I haven't permanently gone back and I really didn't need anything from my trip back home because it was like 10 days real short but I know when I got back the first thing I missed was food I really I love the food and clay so I'm gonna say if I ever went somewhere for a while I would bring back some basic needed ingredients yeah they're hard to find in another place for example at Jenn tongue touches on some tongue those types of things are hard to find or expensive although I've seen a lot especially in YouTube these days foreign countries are using a strip with a Korean gochujang and then tongue in a lot of their cooking it's experimental things yeah so I think it's becoming more easily accessible for forestry markets to to export now so I was trying to think cuz I know everyone is thinking food and I was just trying to think of things weren't related to food but um realistically or just like just anything realistically if you want to because I've got a unrealistic one which is the Wi-Fi is horrible Astraeus yeah livery service yeah I guess like my friends always like it when I send back soon well it's not really cool coffee it's kind of like it's kind of just like on the go coffee like I know that a lot of my Australian friends actually really enjoy Maxim so if I would take that back anything I've already there's two things I have brought back to England one was Korean tea the other one I'm gonna do they think it was it was a big box of the Queen yes but if I had to just choose just soju because yes so many of my friends are curious yeah it's a curiosity thing like bit this cheap typical alcohol yeah you know okay yeah vodka but that's so easily accessible but soldiery is kind of unique like yeah any people know about it recently yeah so I have a bunch of friends who are like really curious about it and then they you know try something yeah well you have to drive a screen for you cream barbecue yes yeah well make it appear need some yeah yeah I brought some home flanger Ehlers bought some for my parents while I was there for my dad but he didn't like it yeah soju yeah so you drink the recipe you're like thanks I gave it to my brother so if you guys have anything from your own you know countries that you can't live without leave a comment educate us yes I'm always curious about things like that and then that's it for today thank you for joining us and don't forget to like comment and suscribe thank you [Music]
