Packaging My FIRST T-Shirt Order || Entrepreneur Series Ep. 2

hey guys welcome back to the channel so as you can see by the title today I'm going to be showing you guys how I pack my very first order if you're new here I do own my own clothing brand it's mainly for people of color but I am trying to expand and make my brand suitable for everybody hey hey so in today's video we're going to show you guys how I cut the vinyls and how I press the shirt do you have any other technical questions make sure you comment down below because I will be reading the comments alright so I'm going to start off by showing you guys how I cut the vinyls about further ado let's get into the video fYI I wasn't sure if this was going to be a voice over video or if I was going to be talking so excuse me while I try to figure this all out I'm gonna be talking but I might do a voiceover will see you'll know before I do so I have to of course turn it on I can't love this excuse her this is like her favorite thing ever okay so we are going to open this is like my favorite part it's so fancy and this is her favorite part to Jimmy down this is gonna be very hard to do okay so now that my Cricut machine is on I'm going to be sliding the mat in very carefully let me make sure I get these bubbles out she really wants so badly to be a part of this and I try to let her as much as she can but I do not let her touch anything isn't that right [Music] all right so now we are going to unload the mat just like that [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] sorry I'm moving kind of fast guys I'd like to do a nice hot peel and I like to start from the bottom left-hand corner peel a nice and slow make sure nothing lives at all okay and that is a perfect design I just do a press for about five more seconds so quickly I just wanted to show you guys my setup this is my promotional card here I have it flipped over so you guys can't see the discount code this is my thank-you card of course this is a sticker that'll be going on the outside of the packaging this is my hang tag this is a sticker that I'll be showing you guys what I do with that later and then lastly this is my tagging gun so the first thing I'm gonna be doing is folding everybody has their own way of folding because as I move around like dust particles and things will and land on the shirt fold down just a little bit so it fits nicely now I'm going to be taking a piece of tissue paper and folding it in half now that I have the shirt Center I'm simply going to say I'm gonna read for this video is a flop I can't put the name tag on this video is a flop okay [Music] [Music] okay so my hang tag is attached to the shirt now I'm going to be putting a size paper alright so this is the order right here she ordered one curves of a goddess unisex tee using my hello 40 discount for 40% oh oh what just happened bugged me out so we are going to click create shipping label and for package we're gonna be clicking on Polly mailer I made this up the other day all you have to do is go to add package and then you could create whatever you want so now it is time for us to weigh alright so I have my skill here I'm gonna turn it on and lift this thing up here alright here's the package I'm just making sure that it's the correct weight now it sank seven ounces seven huh higher one more time it's either between seven and seven point one so I'm just gonna wait one more time seven point one all right so now that we have that so is this uh and now we're gonna come back to my computer screen we're gonna change this to ounces to be on the safe side I'm just gonna say seven point three and I'm gonna scroll down and I'm gonna select first class package okay so I just selected UPS first class package it's just shipped to her in three business days so just really good I'm purchasing the shipping label so once you purchase your shipping label you'll get a screen like this if you have Shopify of course and we are going to print the shipping label if you guys are curious I have the HP Officejet 3830 hopefully this goes well [Music] my cat lose the printer alright so we have our shipping label so now that we have our package I am going to run to the post office and hopefully they let me shift this off for today this is the guy and this is just simple okay gotta go okay so I'm the worst and I barely got any footage at the post office but enjoy this clip alright guys so I hope you enjoyed this quick little video I got a little bit of footage literally all I had to do was walk into the post office there was no line hand her the package she asked me if I wanted her receipt I said yes so I got my receipt and that was it so it was really simple and it wasn't much -
