thanks him making him realize that it had been a while since anyone thanked him for anything then she observes that it had also been a long time since she thanked anyone and so the two enjoy the night scenery together later neilia ends up sleeping in another room since the one she was supposed to stay and wasn't ready yet zagen watches the elf sleeping when he feels hungry and heads out to grab something to eat upon his return he finds nephila just waking up she greets him with a good morning but the utterly antisocial wizard doesn't even know how to respond to a simple greeting and gets so confused about what to say that he ends up just handing the food to the elf leaving her puzzled later zagen starts eating some jerky for breakfast and neilia finds it strange that both of them are having the same meal since it's something usually given to a slave it doesn't make sense for a master to be eating from the same plate zagen realizes that it couldn't even be called a meal but since it's something he's eaten his whole life he never questioned it then zagen wonders what normal people eat and noticing his confusion neilia offers to prepare something more suitable the wizard is surprised that the elf knows how to cook and is excited to try her food so he decides that they should go out shopping however upon arriving in a cart zagin remembers that after paying a million gold coins for the elf is completely broke not even a single bronze coin left because of this zagen tells an affilia that it's not so bad to walk once in a while as he couldn't admit to not being able to afford any transportation the two start walking while the wizard thinks that maybe he could get some money by selling the torture equipment from the castle but he realizes he' still need to pay someone to transport it this makes Zen wonder if he should have robbed The Coachman but he realizes it would definitely not not please neilia so the wizard considers the idea of abandoning his castle to open a snack bar with her when suddenly some Bandits start robbing The Coachman and the people he was transporting in the cart zaga notices that the group of Thieves are not Wizards or anything like that just a bunch of harmless Bandits however he realizes that neilia is scared and deduces that maybe that's how she was kidnapped because of this zagen decides to confront the thieves to show the elf that she has nothing to fear the wizard cast his magic at the bandits catching their attention then the group's leader tries to attack him with an axe but zagen shows brute strength and grabs the weapon with his hand easily breaking it then with a simple flick he sends the thief flying desperate the group of Bandits calls for a wizard who had to deal with them and appears instantly to help them the wizard unleashes several Flames creating a circle of spells then he tries to hit his opponent but nothing happens zagen clarifies that he took the conjuration Circle and now it belongs to him then the guy launches a mega attack on The Wizard and challenges the bandits to face him but obviously they are all terrified and run away and so zagin is pleased to prove to neelia that the bandits are harmless but she disagrees with him since the group attack the people in The Carriage this makes the people of war attack thank the wizard who saved them from the bandits The Coachman even offers a bag of bronze coins in exchange for zag and traveling with them as an escort making the wizard wonder if money comes so easily he gets excited about the idea of defeating bandits in exchange for payment but soon remembers that usually Wizards are the ones being hunted as Bandits which includes cludes himself after all it has happened before that he sent annoying Bandits away and people never repaid him in that way so zon sees people telling the filia that she's lucky to have such a good Master which makes the wizard realize that they weren't afraid of him because he was accompanied by the elf and so the two managed to travel in the cart where neilia asks Zan why he decided to save the people from the bandits the wizard explains that he only did it to show her that there was no reason to fear the bandits then zagen thinks that could be his chance to get the elf's attention by saying something kind or heroic but again his antisocial side prevails and he can't act as he would like later the two arrived at the market and zagen realizes that even though they went to buy ingredients he needed to get daily Necessities for neilia even though he has no idea what a girl needs however zagen realizes that even if he asks her to choose everything she needs he's sure the elf would say she'd be happy with any old thing he offers because of this he decides to take matters into his own hands and goes to a clothing store where he's greeted by a winged girl named Manuela who clearly isn't happy to see a wizard enter in her shop so zagen asks her to find something for neilia to wear manduel is Enchanted by neilia and notices the collar around the elf's neck then the girl takes the new client to try on a piece of clothing leaving zagen alone waiting while he reflects that the collar which keeps her Mana contained really attracts a lot of attention after some time waiting Manuela shows the outfit she chose for neilia to wear which leaves both Zan and the elf completely uncomfortable as it's clothing that barely covers her body zagen complains about Manuel's choice and she explains that she was just trying to cater to his taste which makes the wizard wonder what that girl was thinking about him seeing how embarrassed neilia is wearing something like that zagan asks Manuela to get normal clothes for her to wear so the girl offers a traditional made outfit which includes a high quality silk dress an apron and Enchanted boots with healing properties which limits the exhaustion caused by standing work is Zan ask neilia what she thinks of that outfit and the elf replies that she'll accept whatever he offers the wizard then warns her that if she keeps acting like that Manuela will probably get another outfit similar to the previous one which makes neilia quickly say that she liked that traditional M outfit after buying an outfit for the elf the two leave menuel is shop but before they depart the girl tells neilia that she's lucky to have a master who takes care of her then zagen goes to a blacksmith and asks him to remove an NE filia's collar this catches the elf offg guard and The Wizard explains that as long as she has that collar it will be as if she still belongs to the archman marosia however shortly after explaining he regrets speaking as if she were an object then the blacksmith examines the collar and no says that it's Enchanted explains to zagen that it's likely trapped and if removed incorrectly it could fatly harm the elf zagen realizes that forcing the collar off is out of the question and the blacksmith mentions that the ideal way would be to use the original key but Zan recalls that nobody at the auction knew how to remove the collar implying they didn't have a key and he suspects it's probably somewhere in the properties of the archman marosia since the blacksmith couldn't remove remove the collar zagin pays for the information given but the blacksmith refuses payment for a service he didn't perform especially considering it's the wizard who saved him about a year ago as zagen does it recall meeting the blacksmith he recounts how the wizard saved him and his daughter when their Carriage was attacked and they fled in fear with this zagen understands that one of the many plagues he eliminated must have attacked the blacksmith then the wizard says he doesn't need to worry about that rescue as he doesn't even remember it however the blacksmith says he will never forget that day later EX an affilia leave while he wonders what was happening for people to be acting so kindly at the same time the blacksmith reflects that zag and used to have a frightening look making him too scared to talk to him but now the wizard has a very different and friendlier look later the two buy ingredients until the sun sets and zagen realizes it's too late for neilia to go home and still cook so he takes her to a restaurant where she asks if he's really interested in removing her collar as zagen confirms the elf asks if he's not afraid she'll run away but wizard reflects that this is something he truly worries about because if nefil is free she has no reason to stay with him but still zagen feels that he wants to remove the elf's collar however instead of telling her that he ends up saying that at the moment he can't remove the collar so she shouldn't get her hopes up immediately regretting not simply saying that he still intends to remove the collar then Zin wishes to find a spell book teaching how to talk to a girl when he notices neilia staring at his plate he asks if she doesn't know how to use utensils and the AL explains that she never ate that way remembering when she was a child and saw people eating at tables while she ate locked in a cell this makes zagin realize that perhaps this is why he was enchanted by neilia at First Sight because she's exactly how he was when he had no power then the wizard tells her to start with whatever she finds tastiest on the plate because surely that meal will be much better than the jerky they had for breakfast so neilia thanks for the meal and tries to stab something round on the plate with her fork but as the food offers the spoon she used which makes zagan completely nervous both because neilia feeds him and because it's the same utensil she used after zagen eats from her spoon neilia asks if she has permission to do things she finds useful for him considering he is her master and he never orders her zagen says she can do as she wishes and then offers to feed her too she accepts but this leaves both of them completely embarrassed especially as the people around notice them then the two leave and The Wizard observes that seeing themselves as master and servant for now help things calm down the next day at the church the girl Zan saved from an attack near his castle who we discovered to be the maiden of the sacred sword and captain of the Angelic Knights named chastel L fist realizes that what happened to her wasn't just a dream and for some reason she was saved by a wizard chasto remembers going with the guards to exterminate the Wizards who were attacking young women when suddenly one of the Angelic Knights attacked them however later she found out it wasn't a night but rather one of the faceless thieves they were chasing and zagen appeared and saved her life which despite having a cruel look also seemed very lonely at that moment father cladwell appears interrupting the girl's thoughts he calls her a heroin for being responsible for getting rid of some Wizards behind the serial kidnappings that have been happening chastel says she's not a heroin since she lost four of the Angelic Knights on her Mission but cladwell says it's not her fault and that she returned after avenging her comrades then he laments saying this incident isn't over yet because after searching the lair of a wizard they discovered there was another behind the haacks the true Mastermind behind the kidnappings zagin ches is shocked as she knew he was the one who saved her life but cladwell says that even if he has no connection to the kidnappings being a wizard means he's evil and must face judgment so the girl doesn't mention anything about being saved by the wizard but asked to be in charge of going after him Zen dreams of an old memory from when he was a child and was captured by a sorcerer at that moment he wakes up and sees neilia who informs him that breakfast is already served so he remembers to greet her finally managing to make a proper greeting later the two head to the dining hall where zagen is surprised to see how clean and organized everything is considering that place looked like a graveyard before besides cleaning everything neilia had also circle is the simplest form of sorcery and can create lightning by channeling Mana into it the sorcerer gives a small demonstration creating small lightning bolts and explains that this is The Superficial way of using power for this reason Sorcerers add symbols to increase the Magic's potency like directing the lightning expanding the range among various other things then he gives another demonstration creating a huge lightning bolt Zen also mentions that constructing this type of circle is called a circuit and anyone can use this power by channeling a bit of Mana so a restriction is necessary for only the original Caster to use it because without it anyone can take control of the circle as he did himself when he fought the sorcerer who was with the bandits that attacked the carriage that nilia observes that Zen was only making additions to the outer part of the circuit and asks if it's Poss possible to add something inside it the guy is Amazed by the elf's perception and replies that doing so is practically impossible although it's possible to add a second magic circle inside a complete one but by doing something like that the Mana flow is interrupted causing the spells to spiral out of control in other words the challenge of adding something inside the circuit and replacing someone else's sorcery is basically managing the Mana flow and someone capable of doing that would be safe from any magic and become the most powerful Sorcerer of all time however zeg explains that no one has ever achieved such a thing and that's why this method is just a theory and not studied so seriously then neilia asks if anyone can use the circuit as long as they know how it works zagen confirms noting that the elf has a talent for the subject he explains that for Sorcerers knowledge is a direct correlation with power and that's why they set traps to prevent Knowledge from being stolen Zan takes the opportunity to advise an affiliate to be careful when touching Knights only attacked the sorcerer with hatred zagen easily knocks him down and steps on one using him as a hostage chastel thinks about doing something to save her team but the sorcerer warns that he can eliminate the Knight before she can do anything she still then surrenders but as Zan continues to torture the Knight she asks if he is determined to dishonor the group even after defeating them his Zen clarifies that the reason he's doing this is that if he ended their lives the church would simply register four losses and send another group but this way the survivors can spread what happened and cause fear chest observes that the sorcerer is lying and zagen thinks that the truth is if he started piling up bodies around the house it would scare neilia but as chest still realizes that Zen isn't willing to harm the hostage she attacks him so Zan creates a Magic Shield which chest Del breaks with her holy sword with just a graze the wizard notices that the girl isn't as strong as she seems and starts calmly dodging her attacks not bothering to retaliate not wanting to attack a woman especially one who appears to be the same age as his beloved elf CH still realizing that Megan isn't intending to harm her asks why someone like him stain his hands with sorcery the guy questions if using magic is a crime and the girl responds that it's evil and that its mere existence oppresses and causes suffering to people Z then questions chest's power which has only been shown to be effective against weaker Sorcerers then he steps on the girl's sword and says he's not trying to justify himself but there are plenty of people who need sorcery to survive and she goes around crushing them as if it's fair this makes chastel even more motivated to accomplish her goal she attacks with her sword and zagen traps the weapon with his Magic Shield the guy acts as if he completely has control of this situation when suddenly chest still activates the power of the Holy sword and throws zagen away making him realize that the girl had been holding back until then he notices that the healing of his spell isn't acting as quickly and deduces it's because of the sword then the wizard wonders if he has no other choice but to attack his opponent when chest still takes advantage of them being far enough apart and Whispers in his ear to pretend to be defeated by her Zan is surprised by the the request and the girl explains that the church will go after him until he's eliminated and if she can't accomplish the goal it'll send another stronger Angelic KN to do the job but if he pretends to be defeated by her he can abandon sorcery and live a life as a dignify human chest still also says that although he said he wouldn't hurt the knights to spread fear she saw Mercy in his eyes and she hasn't forgotten that he saved her life zagin reflects that as an Angelic Knight making such a proposal to a sorcerer as a serious crime and chasel is risking a lot by doing so however if he flees an ailia won't be safe at that moment the elf appears worried about her master one of the knights notices she's with the Sorcerer And attacks neilia even though chest still tells makes the elf wag her ears happily she then demonstrates that she found her master's concern disturbing Zan explains that he was just curious to know what that power he had never seen before was apelia explains that the power is known as mysticism and Zan is surprise because until then he thought it didn't exist as he knew it wasn't a system of techniques based on logic like sorcery but a pay for what they did to her neelia feels guilty for letting all the villagers die and explains to zagin that she only realized what she had done after it was too late the wizard observes that this is why she stopped expressing her emotions theel feels ashamed and thinks Zan must be disappointed in her but he says that in her place he would have eliminated the village himself then neilia says she doesn't think she deserves forgiveness for what she did but Zan says that doesn't matter anymore as the people who should forgive are no longer alive that she must be strong the elf asks if she really can have that power and zagen questions that having power is truly evil the wizard recounts how many years ago he saved a girl from a gang of Thieves and told her to be strong so she wouldn't be attacked again but she acted as if he had said that weak people don't have the right to live zagen explains to neilia that he felt the girl had always had a life of luxury and comfort and that made her weak and as he didn't want to be like that he did everything to become strong neilia then asks if she really has permission to continue living in the castle and zagan says he can't imagine his life without the elf anymore especially after the meal she prepared for him upon hearing this neilia starts crying in the sorcerer's arms after the elf finished crying she apologizes for her behavior but zagan says there's no need for her to apologize since neilia had never spoken to him like that before it being the first time she opened up then neilia ask the wizard if his hands still hurt and zaga notices that the pain suddenly vanished along with the wound he remembers touching her hands and is surprised by the power of mysticism which proves to be much more potent than healing sorcery so Zen thanks neilia for healing him and the elf is overjoy because it's the first time the wizard has expressed gratitude to her leaving him surprised to realize his ingratitude zagen apologizes to neilia for this but she responds that it's okay after all he is her master at night the guy sleeps peacefully in his chair when he notices the elf approaching he becomes worried that something might have happened but she explains that she came to ask if they could sleep together zagin becomes completely nervous with that question thinking that neilia meant she wanted something more with him however realizing that didn't make much sense he asks if she UND understands what she's saying the elf explains better saying that since the castle only has one bed and zagen sleeps in the chair she thought he would rest better if they both slept in the bed the guy is a mega powerful wizard living in a gigantic castle with a million gold coins to spend at an auction but he sleeps in a chair due and because of that she offers her lap for him to use as a pillow that also doesn't make much sense since Zen is a wizard and could easily figure out a way to transport the bed to the room but instead of doing that zagen thinks he can't refuse such an invitation and accepts lying on his beloved's lap completely ignoring the fact that he's lying on the floor after calming down from being so close to the elf Z asks why she's doing this and ailia explains that it's her way of thanking him for allowing her to continue living there after learning about mysticism the wizard says there's no need for her to thank him for that as she's always done a good job so zagen takes the opportunity to ask a neilia wants to learn sorcery because apparently she doesn't know how to control her power of mysticism well and that's something that could help her have more control and even defend herself neilia asks if with that ability she could also protect her master zagen says there's no need for that tells that the girl was actually quite strong and destroyed some barriers around his castle which reminds him to ask barbatos to stop breaking the barriers whenever he shows up there at that moment nefil appears and offers tea to the guest barbatos accepts the drink but then is startled to see that she is the elf Zan bought at the auction to serve as a sacrifice he tries to find some reason why the wizard allowed the elf to remain alive and Zan explains that neilia is his Apprentice after all there are sorceries that are difficult to control alone and she will certainly be useful Barbados understands that story as if Sean were using Neil's Elven Powers speaking as if she were a mere object which leaves the guy quite irritated barbatos then remembers the mess he saw at the castle entrance and understands that the elf helped the wizard deal with the Angelic Knights later barbatos changes the subject and asks if zagen is after one of the arcan seats the wizard confirms his interest because he wants the key to the collar that's on neilia and with the authority of an archman there would be less risk of people going after her but zagen thinks it's impossible for him to be chosen for such a position since he became a wizard only a decade ago unlike the other competitors who have been doing this for hundreds of years and have much more knowledge and experience than he does despite this the guy reflects that as long as he stays alive there's a chance of getting the next vacant spot then zagen compliments the black teen affiliate prepared and Barbados asks if he still struggled to control her mysticism very well although she had learned to use some sorcery after a month of neilia living with Zan a bird appears in his castle to deliver a letter from the arch summoning him to a meeting so the wizard goes to the meeting Point located beneath the shopping center in the city of kids where the ruins used as a layer by the late archman orosia are arriving there everyone comments on how zagan is younger than they thought even considering him a child what he feels completely uncomfortable due to the pressure and intensity of Mana coming from the archman the most powerful Sorcerers in the world then as everyone just stares at zagen the guy says that if he came there just to be washed he'd like to leave one of the arch remarks that he's very brave he used that tone with him and since he has shown little patience the archman decides to get straight to the point and reveals that the wizard has been chosen to take the seat of the 13th archman next the archman presents the emblem that maros is the former wizard who belonged to the seat Left Behind Zan is completely shocked by the density and amount of Mana from the emblem being offered to him and notes that each of the timans imit a similar power that is it's not just about gaining a title but also immense power that makes any common sorcerer seem imposing the arch humans noticing that zagan hasn't taken action to seize the power of the emblem for himself ask if something's wrong so the guy explains that it doesn't make sense for him to have been chosen since there are many other more powerful Sorcerers one of the arc roomans acknowledges that his power is still insignificant but explains that even so there's no sorcerer capable of ending his life after all zagen at just 8 years old fac Andreas the cursed a sorcerer with a second name for his recognized strength even though he was just a child easily turned the tables taking the life and all the knowledge of the sorcerer just Abyss than the shadows of sorcery Zan was already aware of the price of following this path because since the day he was forced to become a sorcerer he knew that a normal life was out of the question because their Destiny is to become an archman or lose their life in obscurity however he didn't want to involve neilia in that Darkness so Zan accepts to take this seat in exchange for receiving neelia is proud of her master's achievement and he continues explaining that by taking marcho's place he obtained all the assets of the former archim including her collar's key and so before the elf can say anything zagen frees her and tells her that with his new position he no longer needs her services so she must leave neelia is surprised by his words and after leaving the castle she's completely lost about what to do the alha remembers that she was preparing a lamb stew for them to have dinner because Zan had liked it the last time she made the dish and wanted to evoke that same feeling him again neilia also remembers all the times Zan said he needed her and wonders why despite being abandoned the tears didn't come down after a while with neilia sitting in the middle of the street unsure where to go chastel appears conern to see a sad and lonely girl but as she approaches she recognizes the Wizard's Apprentice who misunderstands the Angelic Knight's intention and thinks she was there to eliminate her for being with zagin Chelle tries to warn that neilia got it wrong and their conversation attracts the attention of the people around who recognize the elf and also think the worst of the night including Manuela who immediately stands between them to protect neilia the rest of the people also start defending the elf and treat chastel as if she were a monster for wanting to attack an innocent girl which makes her feel bad with so many judgments when neilia clarifies that in fact the Knight hadn't done anything to her after the confusion menua neilia and chest Del go to have a better conversation in a restaurant where the wing girl questions if the Angelic Knight would attack the elf if she were on a mission but before she can answer neilia explains that when they met she was on a mission and still didn't attack her furthermore neilia says that chastel also didn't attack her master which makes the Knight remember Tores the man the elf saw hurting zagan who ended up causing panic among plants due to her attack maxel receives a meal and worries about how she will pay but Manuela says it's on her and shortly after it makes it clear that the same doesn't apply to chasel clearly demonstrating that she still doesn't trust the Knight neilia recognizes the lamb stew the same one she was preparing for her master the memory finally makes her cry and Manuela and neilia immediately try to comfort the girl and so after neilia finishes her meal and explains to the two that her master expelled her without explaining the reason and well CH still observes that she saw the wizard as a decent person but that story caused the feeling that he was just using the elf neilia affirms that's not the case and Manuela asks if something happened before Zan expelled her the AL remembers that her master became an archdan and asks the girls what that would be Manuela explains that they are the most important of the Wizards and the City used to be ruled her goal as a knight to clear Zan's name because some wizard impersonated him to accuse him of crimes he didn't commit with everything resolved the three girls begin to to say goodbye and Manuela tells neilia to look for her if she has any problems again because they are friends the elf is surprised by this and explains that she never had any friends before which makes manuella super happy to find out she's the first chest still asks if she can also consider herself a friend of theirs and Manuela says she wouldn't tease her if she didn't already consider her one then some Knights appear looking for chastel including Taurus who trembles in fear when he recognizes an ailia the girl tries to calm the situation when suddenly a powerful Magic from a wizard enveloped the place chastel fallen into one of his traps which he set up with neilia Z misses his Apprentice but remembers that he made the right decision because they SP little time together and no one will link him to her putting her in danger moreover the people of kids like neilia which makes it easier for the elf to have a peaceful and pleasant life in the city later as Zan begins to leave one of the knights grabs him by the foot and starts pleading for him to release chis still The Man reveals that the girl insisted on his innocence and was even willing to challenge the church to find the true culprit behind the kidnappings hoping it would make the sorcerer show mercy and set her free however the guy is just baffled since he didn't even know what happened suddenly Manuela appears and explains that chastel and neilia have been captured by a sorcerer zagen is shocked and wonders if he took too long to distance himself from the elf however instead of acting he hesitates to save her because it would make their connection clear to everyone and put her in even more danger noticing the man's indecision Manuel reveals that neilia wanted to return to him and questions whether Sorcerers truly care about those who care about them while it real questions Zan's goodness the sorcerer reflects that the pain he's feeling is greater than any attack he's ever had because neilia wanted to return to him even after he said cruel things to her so zagen thanks Manuela and agrees that all Sorcerers without exception are trash and only care about themselves treating people as mere tools but neilia belongs to him and for that reason he will make any sorcerer who dares to touch or pay and thus zagen opens a portal swearing to protect neilia and asking if Manuela will join him in Saving the elf the girl confirms and the Knights also asked to go along to save chastel menu explains that they only need to know where they went because the two were taken by strange Shadows but Zan explains that this is not a problem because he knows the sorcerer behind it far away anilia wakes up and sees that she and Chelle are chained by Mana sealing handcuffs preventing her from using any spells although not as zagen doesn't want her to because she won't let him live alone barbat starts to get impatient with Neil's reluctance who says she belongs only to her master then the sorcerer says she's just a slave
