first is this car came all the way from Miami we're doing sway bar bushings Ashley collars and rear motor mount like the dog bone mount what a beautiful day this is to will win travel power to straight now because the power keeps going on off and it's not enough power to run the lift right now keeps dropping to a 70 volts so as soon as the power stabilizes we'll bring this in it start on it so this flickering lights gonna give us a headache these are the colors and luckily George speaks Japanese fairly fluid I mean it gets by he can offer you know hey look at that kind of thing so these points under here there is one - and then wanting the in the front has to be changed and then there's mount right here and then the sway bar sway bar is tucked open there all right that's the sway bar the spoon one is one closest to me you see it's thicker kind of dark in here shop is on 70 vaults so everything is not having a good time fans won't even spin very fast we tread put the fans on or barely move it Koerner kapre wasabi bolts that's Japanese space grease Japanese space food yeah well saw the grease so we're gonna grease all of these I don't know where you really need the grease but if we put it everywhere we're not gonna worry about corrosion getting in there are these things getting stuck or any of the threads getting rustic - so these threads but kind of white it shows you a little bit but they're pretty dry so we don't want it seasoned in their analog gauge there is a new one just came eyes bluetooth it's really cool what it does they sent you a text okay you're getting close to your folks back wife leader says essential confirmation code you go to email the confirmation code you said in the password username I kinda like and it will give you real time for space pretty cool last thing on the list is transmission fluid with some royal purple the street tests that go over the bumps make sure everything is good settled and then next car is the yelling alright this guy came in for quite a list of parts bunch of suspension components clutch and fluids right now we're drying it off so it doesn't drip all over the floor because I just see it's miserable outside he came all the way from Maryland for this that's a long drive well we've got to make sure we give him the TLC that he deserves you know some of you guys probably think this is completely normal because this is you know what you get the northern states but look at this we don't see this at all I mean look at the control arm it's like they're Russell and medalists flaking off for nothing I guess we are spoilt livid in Florida because we don't see any rust so I see everything where PB blaster and before we do anything every single Baltimore blast met Glenn his sit and soak before we touch it look at that whilst I swing off a ship [Music] car has been here for like six hours right look at this it's still dripping water I just broke a bolt loose a little bit of vibration made it just started ripping look at that so it's right out for like three times ready like it's already wet guys well we really worked for this one this one was jammed on these dowels were rusted in you don't know what this is it's the rubber isolator boot goes over the transmission as you see it's broken and this thing is so dry rot it's rock hard it's not luckily we keep them in stock so we're gonna have to replace this one for a brand new Honda supple cover now we got the buddy club coil overs for the s2000 open these up so you can see what it looks like when you open the box you know we like our highly detailed unboxings it's pretty much everything move some styrofoam so you can see what you get you get a plate frame for shocks it's great stuff well what would use the tick is about ten minutes it's not far we're about two hours into it these bolts first rusted solid sort of having to cut all of these bolts out like every single one of them and all the new bolts from Honda George is working on the suspension there but yeah the rust is terrible I don't look forward to another rusted car all right so this car just came from Naples he's dropping it off a date early but it said it runs a little rough and listen it sounds like it's misfiring sighs ice runs on three cylinders so as well as the work that he is scheduled in for we're gonna try and figure out what is going on with that I say it sounds like three cylinders either that don't sound good she'll be doing that alright so after cutting the bolts and removing the AR here is the brand new a arm we're doing a new a arm and a new hub obviously the end link those bolts absolutely sucked getting out who are rusted in solid so they have to be cut as you see that took a lot of time to is the new hub and new bearing a new knuckle already that's gonna be installed on there again brand new Honda om stuff right here that's what the car meant became in foreign of cost you know the clutch and a few other things too can you see the new part yet there's a nice new buddy Club Cory loafers going in so what do we have here well we've had a couple of jacks around here for a long time let me put the camera down attendez so this is to replace the OTC Jack and I bought a few years ago the finally broke and turns out they want something ridiculous aight 220 bucks to rebuild it well a new one is like 260 it's a no-brainer guess we will put this together cuz I have a use for it right now look at that brand new we go find you the old one they do a side-by-side look at that old versus new so what does it change apart from it looking nice and fancy double wheels instead of one roller that means the still isn't gonna go over a zip tie I can't really tell if this is well profile or not look at that 80th anniversary that might be why it's so special so hopefully this one lasts longer it's kind of crazy we had a guy work for us for a little bit I don't know if anybody else has this experience but when people check these things up but turn this and they jacket and they get to the very top and then just keep jacking and jacket and jacking and it blows up the jack and then they never work right again well this I bought probably 1012 years ago when it was great until he used it and then guess what it goes up like this high but it's done that's a nice jacket George make sure when you use it you jack it right to the very top when you sat the top do 10 more pumps give you a chance to bleed 10 more pumps are you gonna make sure they carved up all the way right that's it doesn't mean it's not it doesn't mean anything the one give you a handle so don't want to keep pumping so I guess I want to test it out right now they give you plenty of leverage to make sure you can continue to pump after the follow keep pumpin here's the list for the yellow one we've been working on I feel like I'd really been fighting this one a little bit that's nice to finally check some things off I went ahead and I've assembled that knuckle it's on the car Boyan for some bowls to come in for the suspension arms the bolts were frozen into the arms and I'm sure John will show some footage of him cutting them FX 300 is in and done the trans fluids been done and the difficult has been done and the camo ring done did that first thing so as soon as we get those suspension arm bolts in you can finalize the buddy club coils and check two things off we'll get it down we'll flush the brake in the clutch and drive it nothing is getting as a brake fluid look at that when I refer to this is looking like the bottom of a river this is one of the reasons we're gonna be doing too much fluid too so let's take a look at that while we're here I'm sure that's equally as gross yeah better already event around about a liter and a half of fluid throw at this point all right back to the list we've got the clutch and brake flush all done so like I said we're still waiting for those both to come in from Honda they'll be here any minute then we can get it on the ground check our height for the coils then drive it and check for that rattle all right so as George says while we're waiting for parts for this car George is putting the checklist together burn this car that way it makes it easy when go through the list and get a good visual of what we have done and what needs to be done all right delivery from Honda use a new Honda - girl these are the bolts we've been waiting for we up to overnight these we really needed them thank you so much I thought you was Lisa first thing but you don't have the glasses on so here we are look at that nice new bolts new nuts everything so we are good to go when put this thing back together put the wheels on it put it on the ground and double check the height see where we are I don't think I would attempt to give these out special that one it's probably rusted behind there so you know what this thing can go in your seat we got that hole with no screw in it and that holds no screwing we just pops out so you got to put a lien up behind there and reach behind there yeah we'll just leave these two in and then and then the holes in the bottom never know it doesn't you know what I would do without enough rusted bone problems I would stay away from those six millimeters on this side tell you that much okay that's quite a bit it's a quarter inch on this side six millimeters on the other side yeah so for to lock these collars together I'm gonna adjust the height just by this one here all right we are now a quarter off on a walk so we're pretty close right now Esther just pulled us in for lunch let's see what we have for lunch nice panini machine is in full effect just had John give it a quick final test drive there's our height with the coils just a little bit lower than stock car rides much better now so this car here if you look through some of our past episodes this is the car we did this going to header airbox mod and we did the two and on the dyno also a radies rides check out his channel you of his you're 100% correct well guess what we're back around a second time I promised you that the owner of this car was taking his baby to a very special place down in Pinellas Park Florida it's lht performance he did a review on this car and give us some mention a little bit of love from rady so right back at you buddy you're doing a great job I love your reviews so this car is here for a next round of mods we're doing a clutch masters clutch and an lht twin loop exhaust so you might guess it it's in preparation to do a Kraftwerk supercharger kit look at that car so yeah I still got a soft spot for red special s2a thousands nothing is beautiful here we have car three for the week we got cool and flush spark plugs I'm going to modify a factory airbox with a can and air filter get that installed FX 300 flat clutch clutch masters flywheel ap2 retainers keepers with the valve cover gaskets he supplied a timing chain tensioner and a serpentine belt that's this guy here black ap1 none of them misfire good nap yes about before yeah you think what is that bad for the yellow one with the bad computer yeah that was Mountain coils that's true the rest of them all good like you said look at that got too much resin in it and they've overfilled that one a little bit Wow Oh homicidal Oh well don't let it's a quick snapshot of it - so this was the coil that was all corroded as you see how bad that is well the rest of them all look like they're overheated I mean the wires are all coming apart look at that it came out our tooth or literally glued in see how this one's actually pulled a valve cover paint off it was stuck on there so bad all right so we thought the brakes will drag in real bad on this car well you see the grooves in the wheels we're gonna control the control arm is separated and the only thing hold it together the only thing holding together is the wheel the wheel is stopping out coming out completely same on this side look at that - the grooves in the wheel that is unbelievable so this is when you know someone else has been in here when you see all these finger marks look at that okay you can get some DNA off that look it's wet it's drippy it's wet in there yeah what you think Bruce no good look at that more fingerprints right here you know someone's out of tough time when yeah someone's someone's being blathering and oil and being lifting it up in there and cussing it wet here we're gonna checks if we have a rear main seal leak check it once we get it apart its oil everywhere all right so keep in mind that we have these flywheels in stock and they're already prepped with the surface we've talked about health the clutch break-in they're not just a mirror shiny and we keep the FX 300 clutches in stocks or this year is the driveshaft bolts from the ap1 s2000 this was the only one that came out do the ones we had to cut out and you see the other ones are our LH t drive shuffles much deeper socket don't have an issue with these at all so we replace them whenever the bolts are damaged replace them with our upgraded bolts not only did it go in easier if you've ever got to work on it you will thank us for it these over here a notorious for rounding out the heads to take them out keep that in mind we have those in stock there [Music] [Music] here's the intake we pulled out of the s2000 replacing it with a modified stock airbox cinema plastic really helps keep the heat out of the intake we're also putting in one of these the factory replacement cane and air filter II - 2 4 3 5 is the part number I'll show you it all completely here desert and there's everything installed all we got to do is put the lid on and that's one modified air box so we're trying to come up with lunch ideas split ends aba-approved your dentist or recommend those and the batteries went dead so if it goes off this might never happen if this just ends yeah we're trying to figure out what to have for lunch Panera anything anything see the decisions I'm gonna keep you healthy they want it Lisa was here the day she wanted to go to winged house to have beers for lunch she actually brought back a six-pack we went you know what Lisa come on calm down she goes once you have those let's hit a movie we'll come back work late we'll get this work down no problem and then she leaves it like 2:30 and then Medusa forgets about all yeah then we go what happened to Lisa so what do we think everybody wants one say I all right so this car is done it's got new coils in a would fix the control arms we're just bleeding it this is our bleeding system George was took it for a test drive and it dries beautiful now the brakes are not dragging but if I showed you before you couldn't turn the back wheels here that I was supposed to do if we filmed one thing with film the control arms anyway he's got you see that in there there's a control arm so it's got nice new control arms yeah that sounds a whole lot better done it you know perfect real quick oh yeah all right go drive it see what you think it's gonna feel like a new car so what is in the trunk of a really nice red car so we're doing the brakes on this car and he's going with one of our recommendations stop tech looks like he's using the stuffed tank Rovers pads and lines we don't use the stop take lines up good reach we also have our different pads but these are very good okay so of course he's getting a touch masters clutch and our lightweight flywheel but he opted for the ethics has a little bit different disc it's got a six pad it's a carbon Kevlar still a very very smooth clutch and engages nice so that is a beautiful clutch I don't if you're accounting but this is the third clutch masters clutch and flywheel that we have installed this week not just sold but installed and this is one of our print flare wheels and that beautiful so we're replacing this exhaust and do in the lht twin loop and he wants to keep these om tips so we've done it before so we have to do a little bit of creative change in that's bruised by the way just leaving we have to make a pipe the right diameter for those tips which what about past videos I showed you how we did that now a secret but a little bit more time but this is what do you want so we're gonna do it all right stock exhaust if you haven't felt one of these things I can't wait because it's beyond what our scale capacity is but they weigh a ton so we are that's the OEM clutch it looks like it's a factory clutch it's even gone only pink on here it's got the honda stamp on here that will be the factory needs your bearing and it still feels kind of smooth cuz we're putting a new one on but it's car as 50,000 miles the Nicci bearing is still perfect that's one of the reasons we do it it's quite a bit more money to buy it that way but it's definitely worth it we've proved it's a better bearing so that's the one that we supply and install with our Kia so we've talked about this before the ap2 flywheel this sucker weighs a ton I don't go to the gym anymore I have two of these at home I'll do about ten of these question dollars you'll buy eight - said I can't lift them anymore try not to show off on film so yeah this is a replacement we're good with the FX 400 and the lightweight flywheel why we always walk fourteen pounds one that we put on twelve twelve pounds the hippie one weighs 14 these weigh 15 3 72 72 yeah 72 pounds so that's a big difference that's 18 - 72 quite a bit yeah it's math it's a lot all right so if you order the clutch from Ozora clutch masters you're gonna get this generic alignment tool which works it's pretty good the one we use is the aluminum billet one it's much more precise fitting here very tight plus the disk exactly needs to be so when you're put the transmission back on we're having trying to get that shaft in there and go through the spline and then for the pilot bearing this makes it more precise as much easy to get that transmission back on income-tax lot faster as well for that I know we didn't get it for free hint hint I wish with it we also know that an input shaft and a transmission works very well but we just don't have one no so this is pretty clean one of the things that we do is obviously this is where the release bearing slides on here this guess grease don't matter release bearing it gets very sticky over here and some of these actually get bumps in there when the grease dries up you see it was kind of polished this is still really smooth but we always clean these and go above and beyond to make sure this is absolutely perfect and put fresh grease on this and the Nicci bearing and you know what grease we use we've talked about it before but just in case you haven't seen that video this is the Honda super high temp your roller grease is the best stuff it's made by the people that make your car the best one you can use is the only one that we use share one of my tricks with you or one of our tricks these are the alignment pieces for the transmission you got to make sure that these go on these tubes line up with the engine you see on this side where this one has come out that means it's on the engine side put up there Greece see where it's got rust on there not only will it make you go in a little bit easier he will stop and get any kind of contamination and if you work on it again whether we work on it or you work on it you'll thank us and here's the clutch done and John inside just finished buttoning up the shifter [Applause] I smashed it for a convertible okay now you see me so the shifter came off without a lot net which means that this just turns on and stops well it was slightly crooked and I mean that would drive me nuts so and it's not a conventional size nothing hardly use for the shifter is kind of weird but I did find the right nut which way this goes is you put this on first it's not the exact Honda nut behind the nut is almost like a dark black but we have gold so what you do is this knob will seats upside down ride me nuts well when it was on there it was like it was like this all you do is you put this Center and lined up and then you tighten the locknut to it and lock it down also known as a jam nut so I'm gonna need a wrench for that but one of those little things that I added and he's probably not gonna notice until either he watches this video or he looks down and goes well look at that my shift knob is perfectly straight on the HT TLC things all right so these brakes are getting replaced the brakes he has chosen he supplied these parts are the stop tech slotted rotors the stop tech pads and the stop take brake lines the way they sell them they sell front lines back lines so that's why they're packaged separate his the back lines right here and of course the rotors and pads [Music] [Music] all right so this break is together we've got to go through the bleeding technique but it's all good soon as you the front one right now pull in the back caliper off if you watch one of our all tech videos the ones where I used to do how-to and then people used to argue with me and tell me how I did it wrong well this is one of the things that we see how characters I see how this pin stuck this is supposed to be a floating pin it's stuck all right so we just bled and flush the system with nice fresh fluid now it's got a nice gold color to the fluid brakes are good we'll do a couple of brake tests with it just to help bed in the pads and right now we're working on our twin loop exhaust [Music] so like we talked about we're using his om tips one of the things that we do see the tab right here it's just like the factory one that way when the tip slides on the bowl goes through and it attaches so it's not gonna fall off see I should this one right now George's put together so it's just like the OEM piece now I've seen people do this where they say okay you want your own tip to slide it on and then weld it on and paint it black and we don't do that so this is how we do it [Music] so if we're gonna hear it let's hear it on fast-idle the car is cold George is gonna start it put the gas all the way to the floor it bounced off the rev limiter for about 30 seconds let's hear what that's what these ourselves yeah quick is where to build oil pressure my friend no safe [Music] so this is fast-idle which is usually where it's the loudest one say get some to load their nose loud and obviously the idle calms down let's son it won't look for a few minutes I know a lady here always sounds like we'll do some outside clips alright so what does this sound light from the driver's seat they're responsive it is guess sound from this direction too [Music] just again I've got a cool little pop at the end do it again Oh you want all right I'll let the customer get some sound clips of that we're not gonna drive it well double check the brakes make sure the brakes are seated but he can run it up and down the street get some good sound clips maybe rady can do like a part two on this car because he did the FX 400 part three by basically a second party with our air box mod and tuning stuff and you can get his reaction to it than just trusting us and what we say yeah because their codes are the YouTube comments the air box mod doesn't work which you know you don't have to believe me I'm not trying to sell you anything so I'm not trying to sell you an idea anyway so look out for Reedy's rides you'll see a little bit more in this car and we'll get some outside shots of this and we'll close the
