and let's get ready to find the ghost and i'm not kidding do you understand what is that is like there's somebody back there oh i just literally saw something moving well hello there and welcome to a video where we are going to combine two things that i love very much frozen treats and ghosts and we'll get to that in a moment but first i'd like to tell you something that you may or may not already know about me and that is that i really really love haunted places and spooky things and not just in october i'm talking 365 days a year baby oh my god please never use that word again totally get it hated it the second i said it so did we i'm sorry i was just trying it out it'll never happen again okay thank god right anyways as i was saying my entire life i've been obsessed with spooky things i'm [ __ ] ghosts skeletons haunted houses tombs witches ghost stories funeral homes haunted ships haunted shops cursed items vampires and honestly about really any spooky thing that you can think of probably werewolves too in fact this right here is the very first toy that i ever owned as a child and watch what it does and i warn you you better get ready for a fight and if that didn't have you shaking in your boots this right here is a sacred and slightly haunted gothic sword that my brother gave me when i was eight years old because apparently eight-year-olds owning swords in the 90s was fine what else do i have is spooky despair which i almost never talk about because he legitimately terrifies me i'm very frightened at this very moment he's okay but there's someone in there this box which is so scary oh my god please don't even get me started i just realized the infinity gauntlet back there turned off when i brought out the box i'm telling you this causes problems i need to put this away right now sorry box sorry anyways something else very haunted and terrifying that i own is this benjamin a highly possessed doll that i own is a full-grown man he absolutely terrifies me and i keep him in the closet at all times i have no idea what he is or when or even how he was created but evidence suggests his genesis being sometime around the era of the crusades but no one can be supernatural and i know i'm not alone in this if i were to ask you to guess how many people in america have claimed to have seen a ghost in their lifetime how many people do you think that number would be just reasonably guessing 100 000 500 000 even something as crazy as a couple million and of course no not at all it's nothing even close to that number because oh my god it is so much higher than that it's 196 million that's right somehow according to a 2018 survey an astounding 60 of americans have claimed to see a ghost that's 196 million people who were just like ah a ghost that's crazy but i figured why trust a random online survey when i could do my own survey so i went to my twitter and randomly i asked people have you ever experienced something spooky or supernatural in your life out of the 56 000 people that responded to that poll 74 said yes i have and unexpectedly over 800 people replied with stories and photos of their experiences with ghosts entities entering their rooms and i made the severe mistake of reading those at nighttime but my point is that countless millions of people all around the world have had paranormal experiences so of course there's got to be some truth to this and the idea of diving into that truth and experiencing haunted locations is something i love very very much and i've done a lot of in my past dude i don't like this please hurry [Music] and also something i want to do a lot more of right here on my channel so you can imagine my excitement when my friend giselle told me that the gelato shop that she owns in studio city california is very very haunted which is funny cause i think i've known gisele since i was 15 she is not superstitious if she thinks her gelato shop is haunted it might be anyways luckily for me giselle made the wonderful mistake of allowing me to stay there overnight when i asked her if i could hey gizelle can i stay overnight at your haunted ice cream shop yeah very cool so that is what we're gonna do in this video well we experienced the most haunted ice cream shop in all of america it's possible will absolutely nothing supernatural at all happen and will this just be me being a terrified idiot yes that's also possible but either way i have to do this and not just to serve my obsession with haunted places i also really need to leave my house why's that couple reasons what i mean by that is if you saw my last video a day in my life then you know that my friend andrew schwicke and i have been quarantined together here in los angeles and going slightly insane in my very tiny place and a not so fun new development is that the days here in los angeles are currently reaching 100 degrees and surprise my air conditioning just broke which means that my place is also reaching 100 degrees but right now it's the night before and when andrew comes over tomorrow for coffee i'm gonna spring it on him that we are staying in a potentially very haunted but also very air-conditioned ice cream shop but before all that happens i wanted to do some research and find out more about the shop so luckily i was able to talk to a couple former employees of gelato bar things would randomly fall down there would be weird noises a lot of stuff would just like randomly break ah i mean it was like some poster guys yeah some poltergeist action for sure another guy brought a ouija board into the place after hours and then there was an uptick in activity the first thing i can remember is uh just noticing that there was like something there like i felt like i wasn't alone i started hearing like other paranormal stuff from like my other co-workers i had a co-worker named moses that used to work there and he said like it was like a glass mug for coffee that just like flew across the room oh and earlier on the phone giselle told me that she didn't know much about the history of gelato bar so using my friend google i tried to research the shop in hopes of finding out why it could be haunted but i also found out something very strange and very unexpected about a lot of other ice cream shops in america turns out a lot of them are haunted as [ __ ] for example there was reed's ice cream where before its demolition in 2003 people would hear cries of a woman named linda who apparently died there in the 1950s and in the 1970s people started reporting sounds of a young man laughing then there's trowbridge's ice cream where apparently they got a confederate soldier in there named charles who's throwing ice cream and chicken salad at people cut it out charles and how about you go haunt something like a battlefield because an ice cream shop doesn't even make sense then there's walrus ice cream in fort collins whose owner charlie still hangs out there even though he died in 1940. apparently he's often seen in the basement we know about this particular haunting because not only are there countless reports of it but also because the business itself is not too discreet about it in fact they literally have a sign above the door that says come meet our ghost charlie apparently he's very friendly and he looks friendly too unlike charles over at tro bridges who apparently enjoys his afterlife throwing ice cream around like a petulant child grow up charles as for gelato bar i don't really know much about it besides the fact that it was built in 1947 and a bunch of current and former employees think that it's very haunted so as for our ice cream shop i guess we'll have to wait to see if it's as haunted as some of those others so right now i'll say welcome to whatever this experience might be because here's the point where you get thrown headfirst into it so whatever happens i hope you enjoy our experience as we stay [Music] jeez i don't even know what to do andrew dude i don't even know what to do oh it is so hot in here i'm not even going in there every single piece of this place is like a freaking of heat you know how many times i put my head in the freezer andrew i've been putting the back of the ice on my neck and then i've been putting petite peas on them ew don't think you and your party peas are fine and you know it like the water's not even cold i meant for a little cold splash but it's like what oh it's warm oh god i used that on the floor yesterday remember oh yeah all over the place okay listen andrew stop move i put batteries we are taking this to where we're going okay i need to get just you need to calm down you need to chill out [Music] ouch my brain listen up listen up i actually have something very very very excited to tell you right now this is not going to turn into me running around here do you want to know why and this is very exciting because we are getting out of here today this space we're saying sayonara we're taking a hike dude we're out of here i don't want to go on a hike it's really hot outside is you kidding me it's not happening yesterday it was 100 degrees today i think it's close to 100 degrees record high temperature of 130 degrees recorded in death valley which is actually pretty close to here dude look at this it is 92 degrees inside so we're getting out of here do you know why because it's hot i'm sorry if i met do you know what no okay so my friend giselle owns an ice cream shop one of the best ice cream shops here probably in america if i'm being completely honest she serves gelato treats good times family fun friends and nice and vibes guess what though it is potentially haunted oh yes yes i've met many ghost stories about about in the reports of things falling over knocking off the shells who ate that ice cream dude seriously there's a haunted i might put andrew you're not listening my point is my friend gisele owns a haunted ice cream shop and i called her and asked her if we could go stay in it for the night and guess what she said no she said yes why would you want to stay the night of that andrew and it's 90 degrees inside of here oh how about go to an ice cold ice cream shop uh yeah have you ever seen this much sweat yeah on like athletes and stuff no no point is we're getting out of here dude and we're taking uh supplies probably some ghost hunting things well like ghost hunt the fact that it's haunted is a little bit of a side side uh story giselle was saying that the people who work there have experienced things oh dude don't bring her legitimately gizelle doesn't believe in anything like that and then when she went in this place she was like yeah i don't know what to do cups are flying everywhere she's like i'll just be working and like a whole thing of cups will just like not tip over but like you get projected off so yeah that is the thing i don't know what to believe i'm not like hoping it's haunted that's just literally what like her and four employees have said so why are we gonna go i mean i understand okay hold on hold on why don't you understand hold on a second so you're just really hot in this apartment so you so you said oh i have a friend that has an ice cream shop that must be cold so can i stay the night thing yes not only is it hot as he double hockey sticks in here but we need to mix it up we've done everything we could possibly think to do in here i'm going bonkers with a capital b and you know it know it know it no andrew we have to go oh you're gonna oh we're getting out of here dude we're going to a haunted ice cream shop and we're staying the night in there just please do this with me i'll do it this backpack right here i'm going to give to phil with all the supplies we need to stay in the ice cream shop okay so i figured basic items like just necessities is what i'm focused on oh so benjamin the ghost um did you hear that when i threw him yeah i thought it was you no no that hair in my mouth i just spit all over my hand oh i'm so sorry oh we're sneaking around what do we actually need we're gonna be spending the night there do i need my toothbrush andrew it's one night your teeth will be fine should i bring my deadbeat it is so hot now oh man look at this your ground is like baking i'm baking and i don't mean cookies that's i hated it oh [Music] oh [Music] did you blanket oh a candle's sticking a candle walking around how can i forget oh winnie she's a ghost yes this is really cool [Music] you know we should bring trash bags to cover up the windows no keeping toms well also people are gonna be like what's going on why is there a couple of people running around an ice cream shop at three in the morning what if they call the cops they answer if they call the get hungry i'm sure they have plates yeah but nothing like this you know i'm true no oh i hope she didn't get swallowed by a ghost oh what if she's too haunted to pick up oh my god she picked up we were gonna survive a night in a haunted ice cream shop we couldn't do it with bravery alone we for sure needed to stock up on some essentials after all we could be in there for several hours and you can't just survive off of ice cream you need nutrients oh nice wait nice thank you my hands are full and i want a cookie android and with a little bit of teamwork we were basically able to get everything we needed what about some canned soup let's go i hope my car works okay it just takes a second to get in to drive hang on to the haunted ice cream shop we arrived andrew and it's already pretty scary a trash can named serendipity oh that's pretty scary is it a doorbells haunted that actually does look kind of scary oh i think is that is that to um is that to hold the dumpster in place or is it to hold up skeletons tortured in it torture the next chamber skeleton is tortured yeah i feel like you're trying to make this more scary than it is oh no i'm not trying to make it more scary than it is andrew but it does say no admittance for the living oh that's when you think it's a sink or is it wear the titanic sink to the depths of the ocean i'm morgan i hit my head on a morgue table they keep the milk how to make coffee she even made the mistake of showing us where they keep the cakes and then she made a bigger mistake and showing us where she keeps the extra case and then she somehow made a bigger mistake by showing me where she keeps the brownies gisele do you want any inventory after this evening cause honestly i don't even care if a ghost gets mad at me i'm gonna do some damage to those brownies but giselle really saved the best for last take a look at this beauty that's red velvet so not only did gizelle show us all the incredible flavors she even showed us how to scoop the ice cream but then she made a pretty big mistake in giving me some red velvet gelato it was a mistake because i'm not too good at multitasking and while she was showing us a lot of really important things about how to run the shop in her absence the security system the cooler i was just a bit distracted i couldn't focus which was a great problem for me at this point but a really bad one for her considering that i didn't know how to do anything really but despite not knowing anything i was gonna try my best and i think that's all that matters do you like this shirt what oh i think someone's trying to come in are you serious this is wonderful i'm gonna make it private so no one does any of this father heard a skeleton [Music] yeah that's that was like we were between shooting bows i'm not sure i'm not trying to like make something more than it was that was terrifying i swear twice man i just thought someone was in here i was like oh hi you know all right [Music] okay what the hell was that dude are you kidding me right now dude are you actually kidding me right now what was that i'm not even kidding you i heard like a tap tap or something no no no no no no there was like a crazy crinkling noise dude i'm not even like i was uh okay all right it was like somebody crinkled one of those little cup things no it was right when i walked right here it was like a huge like tall creature just you know like just so over people it's like this is full of monsters i'm not kidding you though man like i don't know this [Music] was like no it was like this no it was even locked let's finish our fries could it have been the gingerbread dude wait well in all fairness they just left they just cleaned maybe something just i don't know toppled over [Music] i don't even want to say i don't want to get you unnerved but there keeps on being this though [Music] all right should we turn the lights off for now we're doing ice cream right now well we did just eat so i me a voicemail for experience here let's see what she has to say hey eric so there were a lot of weird things that went down a gelato bar but um the weirdest thing that i ever saw that table where there are like sugar packets and where people put milk in their coffee there was like a vase that had fake flowers in it and one morning there was like nobody in the store and it looked like somebody like backhanded that face and it broke on the floor it was super weird so um hopefully that gives you a little bit of a clue of what happened who backhanded the face huh if you backhanded the vase maybe he says you're sorry i'm sorry i didn't think it was a tasteful verb it was sort of a teal that's got nothing to do with the color palette of this room [Laughter] that was one employee who said ooh she said that the base got possessed i like start adding she said the face stood up and started calling her name everyone literally just hurt nothing like that okay but andrew what do you think of me setting it up to be scary in here do you think that i've done a good job of making it smooth are your bones shaking is your heart pounding through your chest so okay we've got some scariest tails i've set the mood oh andy andra i can tell you something else i googled how to summon a ghost and this is what i came across so apparently i also found some of the fairy but i don't think that's for right now this says think of someone like think of the spirit that you assume is in the space and then it says this and andrew i hope you're filming because i think the ghost is probably going to come out right after i say this you ready what spirit show yourself spirit reveal spirit come to me so i know you're real did you hear that it seemed like there was someone singing w.a.p by cardi b [Music] went walking down the stairs to get herself a glass of water and her mom goes for her grandma cause she lives with her grandma she goes um what's going on what's all that noise are you walking down the stairs for water and she goes yeah and then wait she is going now she opens that bridge in the water are you scared well the surprise was gonna be that the water is made of blood i don't know what to do what do you do when you make a haunted video but nothing's really that haunted i mean besides the crinkling and the piano apparently and the ghost that kept on singing wap that was really great what is funny about this oh there was a basement i'm gonna keep going no this is actually where it gets scary guess what the basement was full of werewolves you know it's actually not that scary like los angeles is like just outside that door [Laughter] [Music] there's a weird looking woman walking across the street and i think she's a ghost you like going oh and then dipping it in that cheese what the hell was that isn't giselle waiting on you to like call her so that she'd come back here and lock this up last chance ghost rock our socks off okay giselle's got to come lock this place up i'm not joking man there's a ghost in here i know it and if it's the last thing i'll do i'm gonna get a good solid interaction with him before this video ends so i got this and i've got this and let's you been here how did you die how long have you been under here i used a bunch of sugar packets artificial sweeteners okay a couple of plastic cups isn't in here big deal but you didn't check the other side is just more cups and stuff there's just like more sweeteners actually well i suppose we haven't checked this drink case drink case what about in here come on [Music] so the ghost wasn't in the cabinet or the trash or the drink cage i suppose he could be in this box oh my god come on oh there's probably not a ghost under the espresso machine are you looking for a ghost like if you lost your phone or something he's probably just hiding with the milk i know where he is i'm serious you ready and you better get this quick because he might jump out you ready sure look um it's just it's just that we've been back oh my god there he is i'm not joking this time you better be prepared because when this ghost comes out it's going to be a scare stone what is that what are you even opening up a bunch of sugar it could be a haunted sugar though did you still say you could open that all up i'm not even gonna look in the bathroom why because you already looked there and would definitely use it in there [Music] these goats move quick [Music] maybe this wasn't the most haunted ice cream shop in america but what matters was the experience and i made you the best coffee drink you've ever had in your life well i got to experience what it would be like for me to be an ice cream man i mean i got to eat some nutritious food well i definitely don't think that i got to tell you a really scary ghost story again i don't have to explore the streets of los angeles i just walked outside for like two seconds you see him we found him we finally got him well what'd you think welcome to my outro in retrospect i realized that i probably should have called that not staying overnight in a haunted ice cream shop i probably should have called it something like spiraling into chaos inside of an ice cream shop that has haunted stories about it i don't know i hope you enjoyed it i really want to do more haunted stuff on my channel as for what's happening right now i'm trying to be a little quiet which is rare for me because it's like 5 50 in the morning because i just got home from the gelato shop and then i started reading scary stories on reddit and i couldn't sleep so i just didn't beautifully made called loneliness by a channel called in a nutshell kurtz got in a nutshell i think it's pronounced i send that video to everyone i know because loneliness is something that everyone deals with no matter who you are and i love that video so much i've probably seen that like 15 times it's just beautiful i love that entire channel so that's my question for you what's a video that Jeeze i always forget how much of Garrets personality Shane took on. If you watch older videos with Garret, hes always been like this, but you cab see Shane slowly trying to mimick that personality.

Not to mention how much more natural it feels when its Garret and Andrew filming with each other. When it was Shane and Andrew, it always felt kinda like forced personalities.

Just FYI Garrett edited all of Shanes spooky videos and did the research, brought the props, planned where they needed to go etc. He also did this for Queen Mary and the Texas series (I don’t think he edited the entirety of those but he did help a lot). Imo it’s really easy to tell which of Shanes videos Garrett had a hand in because the same themes pop up in his own.
