Out of Bounds Easter Eggs in Video Games #4

hello there my name is James those of you that don't know me and welcome to the Easter Egg hunter a series covering the very best secrets Easter eggs and facts so today I thought I'd bring you ten video game Easter eggs and I hidden outside the limits of game world's the playable area or tucked away in areas that are not traditionally accessible unless you use cheats locally or perhaps utilize your inventory to help your character excel in some way to see them as we check out Easter eggs that are hidden out-of-bounds in video games set an amongst an industrial area a factory transport depot to be exact and homes Owens Paper Company and the portal organization upon the freights multiplayer mapping Call of Duty ghosts it is at the ghosts end of the play zone that many shipping containers are stacked up dominating the area and that actually conceal a secret spot to the north that is out of the map [Music] so by taking to the spectator option and free cam mode we can investigate this location further where not only will you spot a teddy bear hidden in the corner but also you'll find this secret message made up of objects on the floor reading stop hammer time yes in reference to that famous line from MC Hammer song you can't touch this [Music] [Music] so now we are heading back to 1995 to win British video game developers big red software from Lymington spa and ms-dos developers behind one of my favorite past-time titles Micro Machines brought us big red racing now normally in the racing title you would expect barriers walls or some sort of collisions help keep you in check and in the confines of the track that you are racing upon well not in this game apparently who's on the track of Japan if you hit in the southwesterly direction and just keep on driving [Music] eventually you will come across this hill where for some odd reason there appears to be an image of a dog or horse drawn upon it yeah it's pretty random but it could be a reference to the famous torque figures dotted about the hills back at home in England [Music] while in three separate maps in counter-strike sauce there are secrets here that required the noclip feature to see them so for a start on the map of militia if you want a down to the fence line overlooking a small shooting range it is in the distance that you will spot a bomb and by low clipping to the landscape surround the rest to the side of the map for some reason you will discover the logo of co-developers Turtle Rock Studios decorated upon it beside the ticket office within the gate area of clear and easy a bomb disposal map you will find a secret room that is unreachable without the use of noclip which is housing a large statue of a giraffe however in a slightly different situation on the map of nuke if you go clip to the roof in front of the map power plant sign and look in between the wood paneling below there the word man secretly rests to partner up with Mack to give you Mack men an alias of map creator and texture artist Chris Ashton [Music] next up we are looking in on polish video game developers people can fly known for being developers of Bulletstorm code developers behind fortnight save the world and the Gears of War series and home for a time were known as epic games Poland after epic games acquired them before people comply decided to split from their parent company to become independent once again anyway their very first game was painkiller a first-person shooter released in 2004 and it is during chapter 5 level 2 named the docs but if you manage to break out and over the levels barriers or simply use no click to do so then you can discover a hidden message that appears as you approach the water at the edge of the map [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] what can you when you visit the valley of the mines that you will come across the Great Auk wall a barrier where legends say that an army and a horde of orcs stands just beyond it and in fact there are numerous ways to check it out for yourself by climbing in particular spots using a glitch or by simply cheating to check out whether the stories are true then well in truth there is absolutely nothing there apart from this secret sign that reads the following ok man you made it behind the Great Auk wall as you see the story of the orcish hordes behind this wall is a complete fake there is nothing more to find here this place is abandoned it's the end of the world but may a mighty alien dwarf which not depends to this game story and which name is not a public interest here wanted to warn you you've been tricked to believe a story which is not true they want to get you do not believe anything they say keep your eyes open signed the mighty alien dwarf [Music] but that's not the only secret I want to cover here as in the region of Jharkhand ah to the far north over the mansion of scholars at the edge of the game world there's a special area here that believe it or not is home to a rusty car [Music] [Music] here there's a vehicle in Gothic 2 that also so happens to hold a notes that reads well I always wanted to make a game with cars you know [Music] so what's next well we are heading back to 2002 where publishers LucasArts and ravens software gave us Star Wars Jedi Knight two Jedi outcasts where for some reason in a galaxy far far away you can find the earth really yeah the earth is in Star Wars but before we can get to that you need to progress to level 17 that's set upon the doom Giver we're immediately after starting if you press shift + the tilde key the console will pop up then by typing in help us obi-wan which activates the cheeks and then entering in noclip you should pan outside the ship where you will find the earth just as it's being hit by an asteroid [Music] but that's not all as if you look to the southern tip of Africa in amongst the clouds you will find Brent Sienna one of the leading characters in Scott kurz webcomic PvP or what is also known as player-versus-player [Music] and now we're heading to the 2018 first-person shooter dusk developers buy new blood entertainment and throughout delivered an awesome title that provides a sense of nostalgia and a throwback to all those classic nineties titles like Pooh crate blood and even heretic and is filled to the brim with secret areas and easter eggs to check out and as we begin mission 9 in episode 1 sets at the ghost town you will discover a secret message hidden outside the boundary walls and there's a play on two of the most famous messages found in the GTA series [Music] [Music] [Music] and last but no means least is the Stanley parable again that has multiple endings secrets and easter eggs including being able to venture out of bounds [Applause] [Music] at first Stanny assumed he'd broken the map until he heard this narration and realized it was part of the game's design all along he then praised the game for its insightful and witty commentary into the nature of
