Our Marriage Testimony - Kevin & Kathi Zadai

hello everyone dr kevin zadai with you with warrior notes and welcome to kevin and friends and i have my wife kathy here again and we are talking about prayer nations and kathy um i i wanted to talk to the people out there about how we met and uh you know your testimony of everything was going on in our lives separately and then how we how we we got together it seemed like it was all in harmony and and god was synchronizing our lives and so i just wanted to share and in part to you all uh what god has has done for us in marriage in our relationship and how um that has developed over now um we're just over 28 years of uh being married yeah and it just seems so fast everything is going so fast but i really appreciate you i appreciate everything that you've done uh for me personally and for the ministry and you know god has just been so good to us so um i i just wanted to start off with a couple questions um to you but first i wanted to kind of lay the foundation out for what was going on with me and you know as we all know i had gone in for the operation in august i believe was around august of the previous year and that is yeah and so i i um i in 92 in the late summer early fall i had that operation and um it was scheduled to just be about an hour you know they put me under but uh you know when i was in that operation is i had my experience and then he he showed me everything and sent me back jesus did and then when i was in heaven it was interesting that i didn't um i didn't think about marriage or anything because up there you know you're not married you're just married to jesus you know you're married married supper of the lamb and there's no marriage or relationships like that up there and there's no con there's no conscious uh thoughts about the opposite sex or anything like that up there it's just um it's just all uh family we're like the angels you know so i i didn't even think about it didn't miss the fact that i'd never been married um it didn't even bother me you know i was just glad to be in heaven but when jesus sent me back and he put me in my body then all of a sudden uh you know for the for three weeks after that i was so immersed in the glory of god that my my uh my body just it just didn't um it i just couldn't do much you know i laid in bed for like three weeks and i was kind of groggy but my body took a long time to recover it took years actually to recover but my spirit was alive to where i knew that i'd hit the ground running again and all of a sudden you know i'm i'm uh realizing that jesus is coming back very soon because he told me he was coming back very soon and this was in 1992 you know so for a couple months i i was very diligent i started to to study the scriptures more i i was working working at my job going to church i was involved with the music at our church and then one night i was on my way home from practice from because i was one of the singers on the in the band uh for church and we were going to be traveling and things like that so i pulled into the driveway where i was staying and it was like someone um got into my car but the door wasn't open and i could feel the the uh we had a 300 zx right that white 300 zx i had and um everything everything uh went down you know someone that was a a an adult person had stepped into the car it went down like someone was sitting and i could feel like someone was sitting beside me and you know it only been like three or four weeks since the operation i would say maybe five at the most and um the lord's you know the lord was saying uh to me that that um you know he was seen in his in his presence in the glory it got to where he was saying that um something was gonna happen very soon and that i was to get ready for that and he gave me a word and then that presence stayed in the car but then i could feel like someone left the car so as it goes you know as we got got closer to the time of me being sent to seattle he told me he said oh you're going to go to seattle and he said you're going to meet your wife this weekend and that that uh glory went with me into the house and i had a friend there that was visiting that was actually actually i was watching their house you know and they were home and uh they saw that glory on me and they said what just happened to you you know the glory of god's on you and i said well i just had a visitation of jesus i think that it was an angel or jesus i don't know i didn't see who it was but they said they they asked me well what what did the what did he say and um he said that i was going to go to seattle this weekend and i was going to meet my wife and that person you know who ended up being dotty you know that that you knew uh that i was watching her house and she just ended up being home when i when i came home she said well i'm going to seattle this weekend and i already know who your wife is and she's just started laughing i can hear her laughing right now and she said um she said uh uh i'm gonna be there you know so you know well how are you gonna do this i said well the lord just told me to get a flight and go up there you know so anyway the glory was so strong that that we we both like like we collapsed under the glory and we were just laughing on the floor for a long time so anyway that that time came that next week and she flew up there and then she called me and she said you know i'm not going to tell you who it is you know i'm just going to introduce you to a bunch of people and i'll just let the lord tell you who who it is that i know is your wife because i've known for about a year so she had known for about a year then yeah so um i flew up there and uh she picked me up at the airport and we stayed at her daughter's house and then on sunday morning she uh took us uh to church you know and that's when when i walked into the church i saw you on the second row and the lord said that's your wife you know and and so that's uh pretty much my part up until that point i just wanted you to share a little bit now but you know god had had uh for years and years since i was saved at 19 um you know i i used to pray for my my wife every night because i knew that you were alive somewhere on the earth you know and you were actually on the mission field um part of that time but um i prayed every night for you and i'd go out underneath the stars and i knew that you would be out under the same stars somewhere you know and so that i just did that by faith for all those years you know until the day it came when you know he told me to go to seattle and we met so um tell us some of the things that happened with you because i know um when i met you you you really didn't know everything that you that you know now about what was going on but you know we we've talked and i i knew a lot more because i i was coming you know 1300 miles away on an airplane to see to meet you in a city i've never been to before it's a big step of faith yeah so so what uh tell me your side of it you know tell so that people know what happened you know well i just when you were sharing just right now i felt that same presence you know that you know when the lord brought us together yeah it's so it was so cool yeah that's so good you know i remember seattle in the in the uh uh space needle that was our first date and the same presence that's here right now was there you know was there that night yeah and i feel like you know um you started the show this this particular recording by saying how god's been so good to us yeah and i feel like that was what i you know even before the presence came in i felt like i wanted to share that that you know it's his goodness that leads us to repentance oh yeah you know and it's like his goodness that he like supernaturally brought us together you know and i just pray that you know what he did for us it's like it's just a tip of the of his love for us like it's just a small piece but it's so powerful and it so pure and holy and so what he did is really beyond words but we're gonna we we don't want to keep it to ourselves because it's such a miracle oh yeah but it's not we couldn't have done it like you could have never known i was in seattle and um dottie i had known her because she was close friends with the pastors that had taken me in because i had you know as we talked earlier i'd gone through that rough spot before i met you and i was um you know had gotten off track and um so i had known her but she had no i mean i didn't she never like was like in fact i thought she was believing with me to get restored back to the person i had been married to before and you know she had gone through a rough spot in her marriage so i was always praying for her and she was just like that sweet beautiful woman of god full of compassion that you know she you just you know they said she wouldn't hurt a fly she was just so sweet and just loved her and was always so excited when she was in town because i knew she'd come to our church but she was much closer to my pastors but so i didn't even know the only way i i think one time she had called the house looking for joe and linda my pastors and i had answered the phone and um i never talked her on the phone except for that one time she mentioned to me that she had a flight attendant living with her and that he was always like he would encourage her and you know would have words of the lord and i thought oh i never knew and just in my mind i thought i never knew that i thought she just lived alone you know but yeah she was just she was an elderly lady she was single and uh so you know she she allowed me to stay in one of the bedrooms in her house just to watch the house and be kind of like her bodyguard you know yeah and you'd met her at the church and through the music ministry and stuff yeah and she was just a very forthright integral woman and yeah she had an extra room so she let you stay there cause you were fighting in it right so um but yeah so it was like my point is that she was never like i never knew she thought that you that she knew that the lord was putting us together i think she just kept that to herself you know it's just like her between her and the lord yeah so yeah but um yeah even when i was little you know i felt like this was important because um when you were you said let's do another show this morning and i was like so i actually just got down by my by by our bed and i was just spending a little time with the lord and then i remembered that that was really how it all started you know i feel like in that the lord kind of like quickened that to me that it is his goodness that leads us to repentance and it's not about our circumstances or what problem we might think we have or how impossible our situation is because i actually um when i was a little girl cleaning out my horse pasture the lord told me that i would be a christian and i would be i would always be married you know and i was not a christian at that time in fact and then from that place i went on to being less and less of a christian in a sense to in the world's eyes you know i ended up going further and further in the wrong direction for many years you know that was still i was probably in grade school when he told me that and it wasn't until my senior year in high school that i got you know born again or saved and it was the reason i did get born again or saved is because of his goodness i was in the back of my mind i always knew well i'm going to be a christian so that must mean that somehow like you know eventually i'll get my life straightened out and become good enough and then i'll be a christian and when that that train of thought actually enabled me to go further and further down the wrong path because i was looking to myself and you know i you know you all know how far you can take yourself not that far maybe a little you know you can achieve a few things in yourself but nothing that's really going to be of eternal value right and so um i really feel this is important because it's like you know for a lot of people that um is that it was one day i was having i had um developed sort of a friendship with the lady that was doing my hair she was you know a younger woman very beautiful had a family and her parents owned salon so when my mom would get her hair done she would take me and then tony would do my hair the daughter of the people who owned the salon and so she i could tell she kind of knew where i was at like where my mom i didn't think she knew totally that i was the crowd i was running with was as bad as they were you know i don't think my mom she was more brought up more sheltered you know back east you know fancy you know schools boarding schools and all that so she didn't have that exposure um so tony would i could tell she was kind of she'd ask me questions like she kind of knew what i was up to you know and um but then one day she told me how wild she used to be and i was thinking in my mind i thought it just did not commute i thought compute i thought there's no way that this girl she just was so sweet and nice and pretty and healthy looking could ever have been wild so i just you know she's working on my hair and i said well how did you ever change because you know obviously she wasn't wild anymore you know and she's like oh i didn't change she goes i asked jesus into my heart and he changed me and i was like that just like i think i was in shock you know i don't even know that she realized what she did for me but she asked jesus in her heart and he changed her that was the key i needed so it wasn't long after that that i came home one night probably from a party went into my room downstairs we've talked about that place actually years later after we met and got married we that same place the lord's ministered to you or visited you where i but i got down on my knees by my bed and i just said help basically you know my life's going the wrong direction helped me and it was no fancy prayer but it was a surrender and the next morning i woke up and i went upstairs with my bible for breakfast and so i knew my mom knew something was different and i haven't stopped reading my bible since you know and i mean all sorts of stuff i was involved in just left so um that and that was a reason part of the reason i did get mixed up with the wrong person is i thought that's how it worked for everybody but i found out that you have to continue and i felt like that was another thing the lord wants to encourage people it's about continuing you know just always continue you know always give them your yes and so that's where it started and um i felt like that was an important piece you know that you know and so that part was fulfilled but then you know he also told me i was always going to be married and that was nothing that was really in the forefront other than you always you know as a girl you're always thinking you know you'll be married someday but it wasn't like a something i would act on i felt that's an important key too is that there was a day after i'd been on the mission field where that word did become like in the forefront where like i knew that i was entering that season in life where i was going to be getting married like the lord was highlighting it and i um i guess they would say you got i got it could be a lot of different things but i could have um gotten ahead of him so that's a even today like there's a lot of things we could do we know the lord's highlighting but it's not until you get to that place where it actually gets you get two things happen one you get to where you could live without it you know whether it's a project or a thing or a situation you get so far into the victory that you could live without it which actually happened before before i met you the day you came up i was so far into the victory that i was like i hadn't realized i wasn't in faith anymore the lord asked me it's kind of like i'm going around in a little bit of a different routes here but the day kevin came up to my church um we had a guest minister and the anointing came in um before he and dottie got there were i don't know the exact but you guys got because it was icy out so you guys were a little bit weren't there right at the beginning but the lord asked me what are you going to do about what i promised you which was that i would be restored in the area of marriage and i realized by him asking me that prom asking me that question that somehow i was shocked that i wasn't in faith anymore because it had been such a big deal for me but he had gotten me so healed so delivered that i was actually just happy living with the pastor's family riding horses and going to church i wasn't in faith anymore i was just like sort of coasting and so i thought that he and i i've told this story before but it's really good is i thought he was asking me to start i knew i had to get back into faith so i thought that what that meant was that i would need to start believing for this other person to come back to the lord again who he'd already released me from so i told my girlfriend i'm gonna i told her what i was gonna do even though my pastor would think i was nuts and so as i'm telling her i'm going to go back and start believing for this person again even though people around me my leadership are going to think i'm crazy i didn't care i just wanted to get back into faith and that's what i thought it was going to take but it was like abraham and isaac he didn't care he loved god so much that he was willing to offer up isaac his only son but god wasn't asking that of him he was only asking for his faith so as soon as i was ready to tell my girlfriend karen this is just i want you to i'm making a covenant and as soon as i was writing that down with her after the service dottie comes up with kevin i hope this all makes sense but it was like the lord took my faith he saw that i feared him more than i feared man and then kevin was there and then there's so many cool parts about our testimony oh yeah tell it all yeah so i love that you know that god just wanted he wanted my faith he loves that when he sees that you don't care about what other people think as much as you care about him and the thing about those situations are though you can't really set them up yourself we can do stuff like you know we can each day we can say you know i choose you lord you know um i'm gonna do this instead of that because i love you all day long but sometimes those big things there's almost like a supernatural setup like with abraham and isaac that was a supernatural setup and that faith that abraham exhibited there that day actually we're living in you know and that was part of the equation for jesus for god to offer up jesus you know he he chose to like connect himself with his people you know and um so you are so connected with god you are so special to god and all these things we talk about like um you know you were created before the foundations of the world in him you were created in him for good works so if you think about it that um even though um i went through a rough spot before i met kevin kevin was always god's original plan for me in fact i would need to tell him that story about brian but oh yeah go ahead yeah so kevin was um the lord's original plan and it's like um i'll tell you the story about brian but it's if you think about if you go out and buy like something that you love like if you're a kid you get a toy that you really like or if you're a grown-up you get um whatever it is a camera a car whatever but if something happens to that it like say it gets dirty and it falls in the mud or it um gets something happened to it that does not change that thing's original purpose like say if it's stuffed animal or a toy and it falls in the mud and then you clean it off and that toy still fulfills its original purpose you don't keep the mud there and um it's like the mud is so insignificant compared to the original purpose you know it's god's plan that stands it talks about in jeremiah about to go to the ancient paths and find the good way like when we find his path for us it's um in jeremiah 6 16 i love the scriptures like that well actually yeah 6 16 over says says um stand in the ways and see and ask for the old paths where the good way is there's like an ancient foundation an original plan that he had when he created you and there's rest it says here in that path that when we're walking in his ways there's rest like when kevin and i came together and the lord put us together we found rest like we always can return to that the fact that he brought us together it was his idea there's rest you know and then we work from that resting place it's not like we're you know so there's like a strength in that so just remember that whatever you're facing like with if you think about the apostle paul like he's like one of the best like out of the that's a huge example like think about him he went from killing christians to actually helping probably more christians than probably except for jesus than most people have because of his writings that he was able to write and he that was his original purpose his original purpose was to be an apostle his original purpose was to write the new big big chunk of the new testament that was his original purpose you know to bring revelation of jesus christ into this realm that was not here before and we've heard taught before wasn't really even completely here in the gospels it came after jesus accomplished his work that those revelations were released and we have them and so think about your life too whatever the original purpose that god has for your life that is more real than any circumstance that you're facing and that is really what uh a big piece of our marriage is is that we um you know god brought us together and that was his original purpose but the word we're referring to is brian mccallum who used to fly the sr-71 yeah the spider-man the spy plane which is a really cool plane it's also called the blackbird yeah the blackbird so you can look at an astronaut he's he's an astronaut he flew all at the edge of space yes he's the lieutenant colonel yeah yes and then didn't they even wanted him to become part of the space program the first space shuttle pilot you know the spot the shuttle pilot yeah space shuttle yeah and then he left it to go follow the lord yeah well he he was um the lord told me he was going to be kenneth hagin uh seniors pilot yeah yeah so that's what he went and did yeah yeah so that's and that so this if you as you listen to the story and you think about brian who he could have been one of the first people as part of the space program but he left that to obey the lord and go serve and be in the ministry obey the call of god if he hadn't once to hear the story you'll realize how important he was in our lives in just one man's obedience i mean he helped thousands of people besides us but he was in the right place he was there because he'd obeyed the lord so kevin always felt like he was going to meet me at rhema the bible college and um he left there left rhema not meeting his wife right and i actually had had it on my heart to go to rhema but um ended up going with y wham and um still love rhema you know and i'm so thankful for brother hagin we listened to him all the time yeah so kevin had gone back after he'd already gone with the airline yeah i got on with the airline and then um he was a friend so i i went back to see him he was the dean of students at the time at rhema yeah and still kenneth hagin's pilot too as well and um so i got to talk to him a little bit and i asked him some questions about the discrepancy of not being able to meet my wife at rhema even though i felt i should yeah yeah yeah and you said you felt like something had died yeah you know so i sat at a front of him at it you know in front of his desk there with him and i asked him i said what do you think happened and his initial reaction was well i don't know i i don't have you know i don't have a witness on you know what to tell you that happened while you were here because i was i had worked for the ministry for about a year as a volunteer and then um you know got hired with southwest and it bothered me that you know here i'm at the airline and so i when i asked him that he said i i don't know and as soon as that he said that the power of god hit him and came in the room in his office he's a dean of student he's also a lieutenant colonel he i've never seen him get emotional at all ever he's he's you know he's at the edge of space flying in a spy plane he got he said he got shot at by the russians every time he went flying and he fell face down on his desk and he couldn't get up and he's shaking and crying and he said jesus is behind me with his hands on my shoulders and he's wants me to tell you that that it's not your fault that you didn't meet her here that she had taken a different path and it's going to take her four years to get back on track but if if she does if she's obedient and she gets back on track then you will meet her in four years if not i will groom someone else i will have someone else to take her place and then jesus walked out of the room and he got up and he goes what just happened and he he he uh he couldn't explain what just happened it completely was taken over by jesus yeah yeah so that had happened uh in in school one other time with with my roommate jesus had done that too as well but uh anyway so that's what happened there so yeah and then that was exactly what happened because four years like four years i met you in 93 yeah and then just about a month 89 89 i had um entered that other marriage right and it took me four years and it really was 1993. uh january 93 we met and then um got married in may of 93 and then um i really when i went through that i i literally felt like a ping-pong ball on the ocean that was like so such a just a hard rough spot you know but it the lord i was able to um you know get back on track by the grace of god you know says by grace you know through faith we're saved you know and i always think of that scripture where it says that you know while we were yet powerless he died for me because that was that was my story of salvation i was powerless you know and he died for me when i was on my worst day not on my best day and that always strengthens me to know it's not me and the same with being married it's like it's by great we do everything we know to do but it's by grace through faith anything you do with the lord there's a there's a comfort in that you know knowing that it's not you we're not looking to ourselves regardless how many years you've been in the lord or how much you know or how much he's shown you it's still by grace through faith i mean we can't boast and i can't boast that i got back on track but i'm thankful that i did you know and it wasn't um a big sin that would have kept me away it was more just the i just felt so vulnerable you know i didn't know what to do but thank god for um you know my pastors because they took me in and they lived they actually had been through a rough spot in their marriage and recovered and i thought there's no way like they survived their marriage survived and i thought there's no way these people are so in love with each other it was funny it's like god almost put them in front of me you know just to show me that you could live through being heartbroken you know and so i lived with them and i was just like the lord just kept it before my face face and um i really feel like he will get you to that whatever you're believing him for whether it's marriage or something else he will get you to that place where you're just like so happy that you know yes or no whether it happens or doesn't happen you're still okay you know i think he wants us to all get to that place to where we're like you know there's so much so much word in us it's like i actually got to the place where you know i shared the scripture before about where that he gave me that scripture that faith is the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen and then at that moment that scripture in hebrews came to me one day when i was spending time with the lord at the dock by the lake and all of a sudden i'm like i got it i knew i had faith i had faith i was like i'm not sure it just i think just through worshiping and just following him and having the right people in my life and spending scriptures time in the word suddenly i had faith and i knew that that i had faith to be married you know and then that became you know i i got to the place where like when kevin showed up i the lord had to ask me what i was going to do like right before he showed up at the church what are you going to do about what i promised you i was so shocked that i wasn't like because i'd had such target fixation right you know and so it's kind of fun when you get to that place there's like so much joy and that's how is that's how we're really created to live like we're like we already have it you know we're not supposed to be always like you know we do labor to enter the rest but that's the rest of faith so we shouldn't we're not we are really kids kings can't well we are kids of the king yes you know we shouldn't have a worry or a care in the world we shouldn't taken care of yeah it's all taken care of like we were already created in him yet before you even thought about being born before your parents even were born he already you know you know before adam and eve were born we were already created in him for good works like you were already destined for greatness and that really if you just think about that for a minute you're already created for greatness that could be like going to a spiritual chiropractor right now where you should feel everything inside you come into alignment where there's just like nothing but joy and rest you know what i mean yeah you think about it instead of like always trying to get what we already have you know when you think about it really that's what happened to adam and eve the devil was trying to get him to get what they already had exactly and the devil tried to do that with jesus if you're the son of god well hello he just told me i was the son of god where were you obviously you weren't listening you know when the you know the spirit ascent descended on him he said this is my beloved son in whom i'm well pleased and then like pages later or even not maybe not even that much maybe the devil's asking them if you're the son of god yeah trying to get jesus to doubt who he was you know and so um that is like probably one of the biggest things that you should watch out for and not let it trip you up is the devil trying to get you to be something you already are it's a lot of wasted energy yeah yeah so so uh you you know god just got you ready and it kind of blindsided you a little bit when i showed up but um you know to what happened like after you met me you know i i knew you were the one and um i actually came uh came back up a whole bunch of different things i was going to be doing ministry-wise and yeah even even a cruise we were going to be singing on a cruise with with an evangelist and um so yeah the lord was starting i told i told him that i was going to go to seattle and meet my wife and i and he just he just laughed when i called him and said i met her and so i came back up again yeah it was kind of humbling to me because i was i had had such target fixation trying to walk out of that other marriage right judging myself and just making sure that never happened again so i was trying to you know maybe overdid it a little bit you know but in my overdoing it the lord like got me to the the right place sometimes that's okay you know and um so it was he was working something out of me but i remember one thing was interesting is that before you came up the second time i would start seeing your faith i could be at work you know working or doing hair or something at my shop in um woodenville washington where i worked and i would see his face sometimes and i thought like that was odd because i had had so much target fixation before that there was like no extra data coming in you know i was like real focused and so i thought and i would see his smiling face because we did meet you know dottie brought you over at that service and we met and we talked and i liked you you were real friendly and everything and yeah my friend was there um kim she had her puppet that's right i always remember the puppet and kim standing there while we were talking yeah but i would see his face while i was working and then um i thought that's you know just making it i thought why am i seeing kevin's face you know dottie's friend and um then one time this was interesting somebody sent me some flowers at work and i thought well it's either you know who i was with married to before i thought well i don't maybe kevin sent those i actually had that thought and i thought why would kevin like why would i even have that thought and it turned out it was i had sewed my wedding dress from before it was beautiful but i felt like i was just supposed to sew it to the um bridal shop and i told her she was a christian lisa just if there's anybody comes in that needs this dress just please you know they can't afford it please sew it to them and she said okay and so turned out the person she sowed it to sent me those flowers so um so when you came back up the third time or the second time it was like yeah you stayed with the assistant pastors and then you came up to the house and um we all had pizza and went um you guys watched us go horseback riding yeah see and then my pastors knew kevin was the one too and it was like i was a little bit slow but it was like what happened it was that night actually where i got the revelation because after you guys went back home i came home after we put the horses away and everything you guys went home a little bit early because you were they weren't dressed properly they were like freezing it was cold up there yeah over that i mean he had a nice leather coat but it was still cold but we all hugged goodbye just like you do at church or whatever everybody hug goodbye you know and i hugged kevin too just like you always do with you know how us we do most christian gatherings and um didn't think a thing about it till i got home and for some reason i felt led to pull out that prophecy that i had gotten about how god was going to restore me in the area of marriage and it said you know i'll again place you in the arms of another man and you'll know him but that's prophecy there was so much before about the getting out of the other marriage and a lot of direction i had been living in that and the end of it was nice about the restoration but never really focused on it until that night when i read it i realized the light came on i'm like oh my goodness this is the person in the prophecy where god said he was going to place me in the arms of another man and i would know him by um his commitment and the words that he spoke and that's what happened when we were like when we start first started the show and that presence came in and we were like getting teary-eyed it's that was the same presence that um was in the space needle on our first date and he was you told me how much you loved me but it wasn't like um it's sharing a lot but i feel like we're sharing a lot of personal stuff but normally um you know if you're a girl and somebody tells you how much they love you for me anyhow that was like i that wasn't not my cup of tea because normally that wasn't the case but when kevin was telling me i knew it was like the lord was standing there he said see i told you [Music] i knew this was from the lord and there was so much peace on our first date that when i got home and the pastors were waiting for me and the their kids they were like so excited they're like well what'd you think because they already knew and i didn't know what to say i didn't really have an answer other than all of a sudden i did have an answer the piece i had we so much peace when we were together you know and at the time there's no way i i didn't want to leave them because with them for me in my life what i'd been through that was the most piece i had was living in the past it was like living at church i loved it you know and we had prayer meetings all the time but with kevin it was like the next level of peace and so that's a good something good for people to think of too like if you're considering a next step in your life whether it's marriage or something else if it's not taking you into more peace then you don't want it you don't want to go backwards no you know he's taking us on from glory to glory so that's what i told my pastors i said well there was just so much peace when we were together you know and they were like all happy so um that was really cool it just was humbling too to know that like brian that man of god at your he he had that word from the lord that you know that i was to think that i mean kevin was in tulsa and i'm in seattle about to enter the wrong marriage and god's already speaking about it like that was a whole new concept for me that it was kind of humbling but yet comforting to know that you know god was that involved you know that he already knew and that's what i feel like there's just so much good news you know he's so good yeah it's like his goodness yeah and then and then um i wanted i would uh my unspoken request to god was i wanted to get married on my birthday and so it worked out that way where god um arranged it that we were married on my birthday may 8th which is now now our anniversary yeah it was just like exactly what god and that there were so many supernatural events we had supernatural events the whole way leading up to that and during that whole weekend that we got married and there was a supernatural like it was just like angels everywhere jesus actually was waiting in a a restroom at a restaurant that we the lord just told us to stop remember taco time or whatever taco time yeah yeah in the in uh that's that mountainous area in eastern washington yeah like north bend or before you across and the lord said stop here so i you were ordering for us and i went into the restroom because we had been driving for a while and um i walked in there there's nobody in there and so all of a sudden the wall in the bathroom just disappears as i'm standing there and jesus is standing there and he starts to talk to me about getting married and uh to to start to give me instruction and then the he disappeared and came back out and we went and got married that weekend and it just so happened that the the town where we got married in in washington and eastern washington on our on our weddings our marriage certificate it actually says the town which is sila which is you know in the bible is is stop and calmly think about that uh david would write that every now and then after a couple of verses in the psalms in hebrew means to stop and meditate and calmly think about that and so we got married in sila watching washington and um that was on our on my birthday and uh then you know we you know i had to get back to phoenix then to go back to work so that next week we went right straight back to work and but um the lord just did a mighty miracle he worked mighty mighty miracle in in that in that whole thing and so it's been over 28 years now and we we uh are growing in all kinds of ways but it's kind of funny is that we we both love to pray a lot so we would have prayer meetings every day we've had prayer meetings maybe twice a day yeah almost every day we have prayer meetings together and um and so god has been so good to us and i'm just so thankful for you thank you for everything you've done for me and helped me with and the lord has you know what you've done for the lord is there anything else you want to share with us before um we close this i mean is there anything else that comes to your mind just i just want to reiterate you know that yeah i'm just so thankful i love i love my honey he's the best the lord always gives me the best yes amen i know i got the best of heaven but i really feel like he just wants to really highlight that his goodness you know leads us to repentance and that you are already created in him for good works you know that whatever you know word an example of a total miracle yeah like there's no way we could out of the whole world found each other no no you know because you were from pennsylvania i grew up my parents were from pennsylvania but we they raised us in seattle right so yeah well let's um close in prayer if you want to pray for everyone and then we'll close yeah thank you thank you father thank you thank you father father we thank you lord for each person that is watching now or that ever will watch lord this broadcast that whatever that good work is that they are created in you for that we set ourselves in agreement that that's what will come to pass that all the decrees of the enemy will be silenced and that your victorious voice lord will reign over their lives that they will be set free to worship you to serve you to glorify you and to live in you that they will live and breathe in you and have their being we just thank you lord for your covenant that you made with each one of them in your blood in the precious blood of jesus that's stronger than any circumstance they might be facing right now we just thank you lord for total victory total deliverance and total joy for each person listening in jesus name in jesus name well thank you for for being
