Our Family DREAM HOME Just Hit A Major Milestone!

we are back at the house pad it is mid January and we have t-shirts on Jan has shorts on jet has shorts on I don't know what's going on with this we cannot complain about the cold [Music] anymore next step is the outside of all the bedroom walls this is our very outer wall it's our longest wall it's going to take us a little bit of time we need to unwrap it and get ready to get started different when the blessings are he who you're talking to just know I ain't no regular fo could be anything in the world but I can never be you tipto because this Earth back house has intersecting walls that have to overlap we have to be really careful about which wall we're doing next and because we're getting so high this is the last time we'll be able to use our flat sheets of plywood from the inner circle over the hallway Circle to get to this Outer Circle we've installed two ramps already there will be a third ramp to get into this bedroom area but we can't do that till we get this third course up this is the problem area there's not an easy way to get into it so yeah this is the last time we'll be able to use these boards to get in here and then after that I have to build another ramp we'll show you it all makes sense but yeah that's the plan we're going to do as much of this 125 ft wall as we can today yep that was not yep I'm am excited I'm really excited that we're doing this I just uh want to get started and I don't want to talk okay [Music] fine [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] he [Music] now that we're up to ground level trying to use just the tape measure because that Compass the chain was so heavy it was really hard to pull it to where there wasn't a sag in it and so pulling the actual tape measure we're definitely seeing a few spots on these walls where we weren't able to pull it tight enough and so the measurements are a little bit off so we're trying to decide if we need to split the difference we need to try to fix it just depends on how much it's overlapping in each area it looks like this outer wall everybody's going to get two more inches that's what she [Music] said got the feeling in your bones make you feel right at home H it does it does yesterday got to go the rest of the way here and we'll see how far that gets us it's so hard to tell we haven't really dialed in how many feet we can do per day yet so yeah we're just getting [Music] on do you want to explain what's happening I don't know what's happening this dolly bucket is not it keeps ripping bags I think we need to go back to version 1.0 yeah maybe all right well we were going to be switching over to the handheld bucket anyway because we've got some areas over here that the dolly would still catch on the vapor barrier so we're going to go ahead and make that switch now we got this in terminated um we'll figure out what's wrong with a dolly but we'll do that later [Music] oh [Music] all right we're back to continue working on this wall we just have a little bit left on this huge circle uh that's the goal for today maybe more or maybe we do another project don't know yet right now that's the plan uh Ashley's in town someone's watching the dudes so we're down to four people slow us down a little bit and can't use the dolly over here I can't no The Vapor berries in there I cannot wait to get all the way out of the ground so tired of bending over and digging in the trenches and moving stuff and that's going to be exciting dealing with the vapor barrier I know I cannot wait until we're out of the ground so still doing it by hand a is attacking us with a stick let's [Music] go W wo wo everybody get up W everybody [Music] [Music] get [Music] we are definitely moving a little slower I'm stuck over here holding the bucket and we have one person mixing one person doing the wheelbarrow and where' they go one person scooping um so we're almost to the end here and then we just have that little bit to go but still have to go back ramp that whole thing which is a b but we're almost [Music] there b [Music] we're back at the house pad today is a big day we're going to do two walls in one day and more importantly we're going to finish course three course number three on the house let's [Music] go I want to drive on your open road like the wilderness way we are born singing wo there's an oce in your eyes a million stars that paint the sky so we'll drift down with the tide singing wo you and me let's fly away somewhere past the Milky Way May maybe we'll return someday Don't wake me up don't wake me [Music] up waiting for the sun to rise rainy days and careless nights say you will don't say goodbye say it's all right throw your caution to the wind to shelter off my single bed you can call it Wonderland we could stay the night so as you can see things are a little complicated over here this is part of the reason we're building all these ramps but also the ramps aren't going to be completely successful until we're able to like back fill all this we can't back fill it till we give it till we get above ground so this layer or the next layer will be when we actually get to put all this dirt back in and then we just have bags coming up out of the ground but until then you can see like for part of this we came in that way for part of it we came over the middle circle into this little hallway area and now we're taking the other ramp into the hallway kind and we it's all it's like every wall you do every section of that wall you might have to come in differently it's a little confusing [Music] what is it about this place that everyone got no patience and everything's in your face killing y imagination not paying attention [Music] why don't you just use your words and not your violence not paying attention uhh you got me losing connection uhh I'm in a temporary home so full of aggression not I think this is the first layer where the second bag is actually pretty much in the right spot and I think it's because this trench was so wide we were able to adjust it a lot more it's really hard to adjust it underground so laying this one is going a lot faster because as long as we keep it right in the middle should be good all the way [Music] around [Music] yeah the wrong way to do [Music] it oh [Music] he time for the last bag on course number three it's an inner Courtyard wall guys I can't tell you how cool it is to see that this house is above ground right now we're still on Foundation yes I understand 30 more courses to go hey B are you ready yeah uh we lost the dog oh there he is Moo come on M [Music] we're more than halfway done with the inner Courtyard wall which means we should go get sushi we should go get sushi soon can I also talk about how fast we're moving uh we came out here been like 30 minutes uh 45 yeah uh we're just we're not recording a lot we're just getting it done yeah sometimes we just need to go go go and not tap tap tap and not talk talk talk and sometimes we just need to work work work so let's do it can we also go Sushi Sunday soon on Sunday maybe Sunday Sushi Sunday Sushi yeah maybe that's not say yes I don't know what's going on Sunday say yes [Music] we're going to plan our scy date yeah we are are we sure I just want to finish this back also we need to take it off the bucket I feel like you need to be a little bit more excited for sushi I just I need time to to get my mindset out of this and into Sushi your mindset should never be out of sushi should always be front of mine okay yes I am 100 miles up say yes I can is it all love say yes I am
