Opened 5 STAR Drive in Movie Theater in our BACKYARD!

whoa we're seeing if we can send my truck through here how's it looking right this is hard work what do guys tonight we're gonna be hosting a drive-in movie theater in our backyard first we're gonna build it and then tonight we're gonna invite a bunch of people over so they'll be able to drive right through and pull right up to the movie screen and we're all gonna watch a movie together we're gonna have epic things like a popcorn machine we're gonna have candy and snacks we're gonna even grill burgers and hotdogs gonna be delicious it's gonna be a fun time so we have a lot to prepare before people come over let get first we're gonna be building the scaffolding about help me out here because we need to attach a big frame on to it and then we're going to touch a big screen onto it and the projector will be putting light beams and photons on the screen which will then it bounce back into the viewers eyes so it also be audio where it's sending out sound waves entering their ears they're gonna be perceiving the sound in their minds and ears are gonna put all the images and sound together and then it's gonna create a story in their minds I think they do that's kind of over-explaining so this is gonna be the canvas it's 15 by 12 so we need to build a 15 by 12 foot frame the drop good work boys and I use the word boy intentionally you are not meant so we're gonna use these big wooden posts for our frame this gonna be one big screen so we do the back this side up and then we let stand up I'll move it over so that's 15 the height of the screen is 12 so we need to see how high we're gonna have it off the ground [Music] our jumpers overheating so I'm attaching this nice pink umbrella there we go [Music] frames almost done it's got the tarp on one up make the tarp fall down we got ourselves a drive-in movie theater screen we gotta lift it up now this is gonna be saints row I need someone so gnarly so tall I think it's love to tow this big huge wave we were supposed to put the tarp on first we didn't think this through I didn't think it would be that high for some reason when you're sitting underneath it yeah it looks a whole lot we don't think it's safe because once we put a big tarp thing on it it's gonna act like a sail if it's windy it could blow onto the vehicles and that wasn't so bad so we're gonna use smaller wood instead of this but it's still gonna be really tall and we're just gonna let this drop down and guess we gotta get better materials for this so we got to go to Home Depot we were trying to use the materials we had but we don't have enough good materials also we were running out of screws so what we're gonna hum do you fall see what times we can fine and we'll be back in the backyard do it since the first trim didn't work we got more wood so we're gonna build a completely new one so we're gonna have one team working here we have another team working in the garage clearing everything out so the cars can come through the driveway into the garage straight into the back do it the new structure is complete it's a lot lighter than our previous one we had two super heavy 20-foot long four by sixes so we're gonna be putting the tarp on right now put some nails and a hammer use our little star feet our shop it's gonna fit perfectly you can be nice and tight dang look at this movie screen guys this is crazy won't like Gus [Music] receive if we can send my truck through here how's it looking Ryan it's really tight well it looks like they sell a little bit of work to do so we're gonna come back to our site oh no we got no muscles right now colonel virus killed my muscles so we almost just ripped the canvas trying to put this thing up no realized how much the wind is gonna blow this thing over so we really need to make sure this is strong putting another frame across the ends we don't want this thing to fall on some cars that would be really bad I'm currently Roger strapping and the frame to the scaffolding so that it is on secure okay this job is tight I think we should probably put some extra straps on just in case because we must certainly don't want this falling down that'd be really bad all right I'll see you guys later lay down so we got Emily and Julian here and we're at Walmart so we got to get all the burgers the hotdogs the candy the popcorn that we're gonna be giving out to people we're at the candy aisle okay Julian take it away okay can't see me but I'm smelling its black licorice for the way no black licorice do it what do you think about these these are what are you doing I'm just minding my own business that's all okay so part of the card is pretty full of candy to think we might be good so we need hot dogs so we got a bunch of glass we got this speaker gatorade and then a cart full of so it's 5:21 we got to get home because people are coming over in two and a half hours and we're not ready we're back from Walmart and look at this awesome screen legitness this thing is huge we got to set up our food and snack table or popcorn machine we got to set up the projector beaker all sorts of things lots of work to do okay so let's do the popcorn and the snacks right all right let's do that we need to be ready by 7:30 it is 5:40 has a dream moment you're making me mad wow this thing's pretty cool okay so how do we get this X so this pops off here so now we got to build the stand for the projector Oh hold it straight bro giant scared me did you know if you show me anything what is that funny because it's like a subconscious thing you know wait hang out and you're like oh I think you like what they do that we're also gonna spray paint this so it looks nicer this is gonna go Thanks they're great they're perfect so we got some lights these are gonna direct the cars you got your classic low voltage rope light and they turn different colors how's it going well this took me way too long unless you took me a half hour well ten minutes is looking for this instruction manual and then the other 20 minutes is me slowly putting it together but it looks good so it's not completely quiet yet I stopped a couple things to do but we're getting the popcorn thing is done we're gonna make our snack bar right here and we're gonna make so much delicious popcorn this is gonna be what epic nice so of course we need you to get in the extension cord to plug this in you need a little shelf for the laptop so let me put this right here babe would you mind holding this for me right there baby all right hopefully this works for the shelf um this is all the wood we got it actually looks like it works I don't think it's gonna fall into the school that we need to panic all right so the laptop shelf is all painting that awesome dude yeah this thing is so cool I can't wait for the Showtime I haven't been to a theater in like three months bro we're gonna debut the Gangji Braille movie right when I grab this yeah the deja vu movies come we should make a movie we should my most favorite part about this drive-in movie theater is how you get your movie tickets so I have this roll of tickets here and in order for people to get in to the drive-in theater they have to tell us a funny joke I have a funny joke but who's the biggest nub of them all Gillian you have a column speaker set up we're gonna test it real quick power button so let's see if this speaker works we're gonna play a danger borough video we got 48 minutes until people arrive and we have to cook burgers and hot dogs like we're running out of time this is hard work I don't think yeah it's not gonna show because it barely shows up on my hand I think it needs to be darker need to be darker alright so our lovely candy creation is all complete most importantly black licorice and chocolate fountain strawberries and peas and everything and I'm so happy I might eat it all before they get here so Chris is bringing the truck in I'm gonna use these to direct traffic what do you start good news you look a lot cooler or that is a tight squeeze I made it through that's sketchy [Music] it looks like we're gonna be able to fit one car here maybe one right here to here just gonna be in the back I moved my car on the side because mine's a little bit bigger so I don't wanna be blocking the whole screen Chris do you want to direct me in Oh oh no no no that's today all right guests have arrived Robert has the license is directing the traffic with and Chris and I are gonna give them the tickets and admit them to the theater so FAQ what problem okay so in order to get your movie ticket you got to tell us a funny joke this is Josh this is gonna be my future father-in-law Dale's in there too that's a funny joke did you know that a pie in Jamaica costs five bucks and a pie in the Bahamas cost 6 bucks those are the Pirates of the Caribbean to Pirates of the Caribbean oh my gosh the Pirates of the Caribbean once every car is in place we're gonna go around and collect everyone's orders for what they want for the meal all right so in this next car is Matt and Joe Lina okay so for you guys to get your ticket if you don't answer this correctly you're out of here okay I don't care about all the tears you're gonna cry tonight you need to tell us a funny joke and if we like it you're in what time do you go to the dentist wait wait wait wait wait I got this 3:30 2:30 no at 2:30 oh there you go Robert Roberts gonna direct you ball him I'm sure none of you guys need an introduction we have Bobby does that Bobby from cement so in order to get your movie ticket you have to tell us a funny joke what is green and has wheels a big green tractor no grass I lied about the wheels that was the first unfunny joke okay I feel bad you have one more champ one more chance would you rather kill a baby seal or would you rather kill a matter baby a matter baby what does it matter baby so Jeffrey's gonna bring his truck in and then we have a lot more guests dude it's like carvanha a lot of cars that was a bad joke you don't get it you don't get to be in the movie theater sorry here comes enough Jeffrey this kids not funny so we'll see we'll see if he gets the movie ticket all right Jeff you got one chance on the funny jokes to get this movie ticket wait why do I have to be by this process to my own theater that I helped create all right you're good now once a fine hotel what do you call a fish with legs a tuna fish a tuna fish a tuna fish like a tuna fish - knee - knees with two legs officials to make that was a pretty bad last and final guest is here let's have a pull-up what's cracking what's uh we are here to watch a movie who's your friend his name's armadillo in order to get into the drive-in theater I think I think your friend he said tell us a funny joke oh I mean my last relationship was a joke it was a tight squeeze but we got one two three four five six seven be coals for this backyard movie theater we're gonna go around getting everyone's orders we're gonna bring him food we're gonna watch a movie we have a great time tonight you guys I'm really good bought this rooftop tent cuz I'm gonna set it up I'm gonna be able to watch from my tent we're gonna set this up real quick alright so Johnson Dale what would you like for your meal we can you order here I want to make fish which with cheese I make fish wits well that's not on the menu tonight oh you're taking the order a burger yes and for the lady Icelandic fresh Icelandic it's fresh from Iceland in case you're wondering okay and then we have two Gators and then the hamburger is on its way all have two hot dogs of burgers and a large two hamburgers they're just on the same bunch oh it's one mega hamburger all right hot burger what can I get for y'all do we have egg witches all right so everyone's got their food we're currently trying to set up the movie right now running into some technical difficulties okay we'll get it figured out looks like you know everyone's just hanging out right now guys the only person I wasn't eating is me so I'm gonna hey let's eat Julian Julian are gonna right now tell me what's happening so we're gonna serve the candy to people so yeah look another screen look at this we got like it I'm excited for this effect are you guys ready to start the movie so now we're gonna watch the movie and then after we're gonna ask everybody if they enjoyed it my first-ever drive-in theater in our backyard have you come up here check this out this is our view yeah how is later all right guys the movie is over so I'm going to go around and see how everyone's experience was at our drive-in theater what do you think babe that was awesome I can't believe a theater in our backyard yeah what do you guys think of the theater it was legit like the good old days we should do this all summer definitely yeah good Bobby the movie was scraping I'm still waiting on my car wash I don't know what's happening Oh focus is in the car no shoe where where am I my Becker oh yeah ten out of ten it's great a little bit are you guys sleeping you're both sleeping I can't believe you guys can't believe you the driving is awesome for the time man first time cool experience cheese moves up again yeah we're keeping it up so and like he says scary movies okay we'll do it well everybody left I was a successful drive-in theater in our backyard
