Oops...I Did It Again! I Used WAVE NOUVEAU On My Natural Hair! OMG! 😂😂😂

so the year is 2020 literally nothing makes sense and neither will this video so i am at walgreens minding my black magical business and i go into the owl that brings me joy in the midst of chaos and that is the hair product section previously about six or seven months ago get protect i set the internet ablaze in the natural hair community by using s curl curl activator on my hair and to my surprise it was lit and so i said you know what the world is still crazy i have nothing but time on my hands because i'm still on house arrest from rona and so i'm just going to give it a try and so i picked up something i've never used before and that is wave nouveau texturizing system they're moisturizing finishing lotion now be clear although in the name it says texturizing system that is the whole system this particular item is just a finishing lotion a moisturizer something that's supposed to make your curls look good it says it quenches dry thirsty hair it softens and it provides shame however the one thing it does not say it does is add holes so i have to go to the thing that gives me joy in the midst of chaos and that is wetland extreme gel so i'm gonna pair these two puppies together to see if it work out for my hair either it's gonna be great it's gonna be horrible but either way you got something to keep you distracted in this world of chaos and so of course i cannot just do the styling portion oh no oh no mother must put on a show and so i'm going to do my whole head with my function of beauty shampoo i just grabbed it because it was pretty in this pink and honey i'm just going with the vibes and then to keep with the pink thing i'm going to use my miss jessie super sweet back treatment because not only is it pretty and it's pink it was expensive and honey mother needs to use this up and then to go in with my leave-in i'm going to use my texture id spray it's not pink but it's close enough so listen we're just going to get into it and so i'm going to go off camera wash my hair with my shampoo come back and we're gonna get this video started i just hope this goes well because honey i haven't been through enough this year i don't need another bad hair day listen this got to go well let's roll this beautiful being footage and we're back hair clean booty clean let's get this video started so i'm gonna put this conditioner on my hair it's the super sweet bag treatment from miss jessie's yes i like it but honey it's expensive so even if i didn't like it i was gonna make myself like it but i actually really do like it so i'm just going to put it on my hair honey it looked like amoxicillin like the child's medicine it tastes like bubble gum yes that's exactly what it looks like it smells like too so i'll just work that in just like that right there honey i'm really hoping this works out for me because listen after the year that 2020 has been to me and others honey i deserve nice things i deserve good hair days i deserve to look cute without spending a whole lot of money because why it's 20 20. so let me add a little bit more work that in just like that right there uh-huh yes thank you all right so my conditioner is applied mother's froze looking real good and luxurious and white and coated and all that other stuff and so now it is time to bring out my friend she is not a guest on this channel if you are new here welcome not so listen i have an extra large shower cap as collective we've named her samantha samantha really owns this channel you just gonna have to get into it so on the count of three say hey samantha one two three hi okay so i'm gonna just put my little cap on just like that uh-huh yes thank you look at it look all the more extensive i just looking real ridiculous so anyway i'm gonna get under my dryer for about 20 minutes let this thing set on in to prep my hair for whatever this message i'm about to do to it and we're gonna come back all right my conditioner has been rinsed out mother is dripping like a way puppy but we're gonna get it all together so i'm gonna just apply some leaves and this is by texture id it's a spray leaving but honey it gets the job done so i'm gonna spray my hair real good put a cap on top to let it sit in for about 10 minutes detangle my hair and then i'm gonna get into what you came here to see jerry curl juice my hair is separated and detangled it is go time so i'm really excited because honestly i have never used anything from this company before i've seen it when i was a little girl like family members had some of this going on but i've never used it so i don't know what to expect now reading it it says it's to add shine soften and add moisture to natural or permanently waved hair so in looking at instructions on packaging it tells you exactly what it's supposed to do so it does not say anything about hole which is why i'm gonna put a gel on top to add some hole to it now i want to say to those who are ingredient conscious while this does not have parabens it does have silicone so if you don't like silicone on your hair just let this be your entertainment i'm volunteering as tribute for you so let me go ahead and take this off uh-huh yes hair real soft and silky and free i want something just for me just for me okay all right so let me go ahead and take out this small little section so my method will be to add some of this rub it in real good so it don't flake up on me hopefully it don't flake and then i'll put some gel on top so oh it smelled real good oh oh that smell really good oh it's a jelly okay i was thinking it was gonna be a cream so if you look at it it kind of looked like soap it's uh it's more of a jelly consistency so i like that yes so i'm gonna rub that on my hair and applying it baby that feels oh okay y'all see this okay okay listen okay i don't want to get too excited so i'm going to take some here is i need to flick you off but here's what i'm taking i'm just rolled it in there rub that on my hair and i'm gonna just rate that through it smells really good it's like a perfume scent it's a little strong but it's not annoying so i'm gonna rub that on there really good now mind you this is not a gel at all like the consistency looks like kind of like jelly but it's not at all it's just like a lotion so i'm just rub that on there [Music] mother likes that okay so i'm gonna just take some gel as well and put that on top just to lock in the shine and the definition that this cream gave me so i'm just take some gel rub that on there um yes like so and release and let it go bye-bye i know okay oh this is what it looks like i like that okay let me put some on my uh roots though cause they're gonna be puffy if i put some gel on there so let me hold on mother is getting excited because the weight look look at it look at it look at that look at it look at it and just pour it on my finger i'm gonna try not to go too hard with it just because i don't know what it's gonna do because i never used it before so this is what it looks like yes so i'm gonna take that together rub that on there it feels really good though like seriously this feels amazing so hold on i'm gonna add a little bit more on that section because i feel like i i ain't really do enough so on my hair when you rub it on it feels extremely softening i can feel the moisture on my hand but it's not sticky like some curl activated gel when you rub it on it gives you like that sticky greasy disgusting feeling on your skin and neck but this does not have that at all so right now they get points and put that on top so my method is to run well smooth the gel along my strands just to really get it saturated and then i take my fingers and right through so that's my whole thing smooth and then rape the smoothing really smooths the gel onto your strands and the raking through helps to clump your curls together so it can just be like real springy or whatever so i'm gonna just actually make this smaller i just feel like the results are speaking for themselves the results like i don't have to say nothing else hold on where i put that little section i heard hold on so i'm gonna do another section on camera with you all then i'm gonna mind my business put that together and really smooth that along my strands [Music] wow that is a wow and then i'm going to take some gel to really lock in all that moisture shine and a little bit of definition that the gel cream or whatever that mess is called whatever that is whatever it did i'm locking it in with the gel so so that they look good so that is what i'm going to do i'm going to use this to give my hair some softness some moisture some shine and a little bit of definition and then because it doesn't have hold i'm going to top it off with wetland extreme gel you don't have to use this gel any gel that you like use that i just like this because it's like three dollars so that is what i'm gonna do i'm gonna go ahead go off camera finish up the rest of my hair and i'm gonna come back and show it to you before i dry it and shape it and all the good stuff but right now look at it look at it look at it all right and so we're back my hair is completely set and i just want to say [Music] i am so obsessed with how my hair looks and feels and as long as it doesn't flake up i can literally say this feels like one of the best washing girls i have done since i did my big chop in march my hair feels incredible now of course in reality this ain't nothing but a big old bottle of glycerin and some silicones but at the same time it was five dollars i am not pressed about it so honestly to get this look for five dollars i am not mad at all so this is what i'm gonna do i'm gonna get under my hooded dryer and let it completely dry i'm going to stretch pick and fluff and do all my shaping off camera just to keep the video from being too long or whatever and i'll come back and show you the final results right here and here are my final results y'all i love my hair so much my curls are so springy and so bouncy yet they have the perfect amount of hold like this combination worked very well together the wave nouveau uh finishing lotion gave me a lot of moisture a lot of shine and they even gave a little bit of definition but because it doesn't have the ability to hold the wet line came in still deal got that thing all together like my curls have enough hold to it to where i know i'm gonna get a lot of days out of this style like this was everything now i probably won't do another jerry curl video just because i don't want to be known as that jerry curl girl but at the same time sometimes it's fun to reach back into what my elders used to do combine it with my little new techniques for my natural hair and see how it turned out and in this case it worked out well so let me turn around let you see the back uh huh yes uh-huh yes yes get into it get into it so that is it honey i'm not even to the front with
