all right I'm Robert breaker mr. evangelist the Spanish the english-speaking people and welcome back to the cloud Church org today I've got a very special message for you is something that I believe it's very needful in the day and age in which we live and that's this this teaching of once saved always saved I get emails all the time for people that that say well I don't believe what you preach I believe that I have to do something for salvation well there's a problem if you have to do something for some patient then you have to saviors Jesus is one Savior and you yourself is the other what does the Bible say well the Bible only tells us there's one Savior Jesus Christ so over you it's good questioning it who are you to compare yourself to Jesus and to think that you can do something better than what Jesus did for salvation one thing a lot of people write to me and say no no I believe you can get saved by Jesus what he did but you got to do something to be saved or stay safe and so they attack the doctrine of once saved always saved and they said no you once you're saved you're not always saying you have to you have to keep working to keep it is that what the Bible teaches well that's where we look at today so today what I want to do is look at the scriptures look at the Bible and see what the Bible teaches about once saved always say is it true that all you have to do is be saved one time and you're safe for all eternity is that true how are we saved what we saved by works or we say by grace alone and we saved by what we do and our sacrifice are we saved by what Jesus did for us and his sacrifice once saved always saved is that a Bible doctrine Hebrews chapter 10 let's look at Hebrews chapter 10 I'm going to read verses 10 through 12 and I want you to look for the word once you see once saved always say that one word once is so important once saved always saved is that a Bible doctrine Hebrews chapter 10 verse 10 through 12 says by the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all okay so our sanctification our salvation is the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once so Jesus did something once to save us verse 11 and every priest standard daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices which can never take away sins man doing something thinking hey if you do what we do you'll be saved no it can't take away sin verse 12 but this man Jesus after that he had offered one sacrifice for sins for amber look at that one sacrifice for sins forever set down the right hand of God so there's once that Jesus Christ died and he did the one sacrifice sacrifice the Bible says that was for ever for all sin so what is it is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross sufficient for all sins past present and future or is it only your past sins and then you've got to do right the rest of your life for God to accept you well that's what a lot of people teach they teach that when you're saved you better work hard and keep it or God will take it away but it's not what the scriptures say what does the scriptures call salvation what is salvation let's go to Romans chapter 6 and verse 23 and see if we can figure this out because what's on what's at stake here what's it on the line it's whether or not you believe the Bible and what God says and if you think that that sacrifice of Jesus was not forever for all sin and you think we'll have to do something that keeps myself saved and what you're doing is saying well that said Christ Jesus wasn't wasn't enough you know it paid for some sins but there's things I have to do well how about every time you said this Jesus have to die again I mean if Jesus died for all your sins until you sin again what why did he do that that was pointless wasn't it he paid for all your sins until you said again whoops that doesn't sound like all-sufficient that doesn't sound like one sacrifice forever for all sins so is the Bible teach once saved always saved let's look at this Romans chapter 6 and verse 23 says for the wages of is death now watch this but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord so the Bible calls salvation three things we're going to look at those real quick it calls it eternal life what is something that's eternal oh and by the way it says that it's a gift of God once again to something you can't earn so once God saves you and gives you that gift of eternal life how could you lose it you see the word eternal means just that you turn on something that's eternal is for all eternity so God gives you a gift of something that's eternal then don't you have that gift for all eternity well that's what we're going to see in a minute that's what the Bible teaches that salvation is a free gift of eternal life and when you have that free gift it's something you have for all eternity now how could you lose that but all these people say no no you can lose your self-image and you can use it how can you lose it if it's eternal if it was temporal I can see you losing it but Bible doesn't say that God gives people the gift of temporal life it says the gift of eternal life go to Hebrews chapter 9 in verse twelve let's look at the second one neither by the blood of goats and calves but by his own blood speaking of Jesus he had it in once into the holy place once he entered into the holy place having obtained eternal Redemption so the Bible says that salvation is eternal redemption so what is eternal it's for all eternity so when God redeems the believer at the moment they believe they're redeemed for all eternity but that's what the Bible's teaching I understand how people can't see that they can't realize that hey salvation is eternal it's for all eternity that gift of salvation that God imparts to a sinner when he believes is an eternal gift because Christ Jesus died to give them eternal Redemption so the Bible teaches let's look at Hebrews chapter 5 and verse 9 Hebrews 5:9 says and being made perfect he speaking of Jesus became the author of eternal salvation and all them that obey Him well how do you obey Him well we read in Romans chapter 10 obey the gospel uh it says in other places that you have to obey by faith by believing so the moment you believe the moment you trust you receive eternal what salvation alright so if if you're saved once are you always saved well according to those three verses yes because God gave you a gift of eternal life he redeemed you for all eternity and he gave you salvation that's eternal for all eternity so how can people say you can lose your salvation the Bible starting to look like yeah once I have always saved oh yeah because it's a free gift of eternal life so why are the denominations why are their preachers why are their pastor why are the people out there saying nope you can lose your salvation you better do this you better do this by telling you you have to do something is saying that what Jesus did isn't enough but did Jesus do enough well according to the Bible he did he did one sacrifice forever for all sin that's enough so why are you trying to take the place of Jesus why are you trying to think well he didn't do enough so I'm gonna have to do the rest you know what that is that's saying Jesus didn't do enough and he didn't do it right and only I can and it's trying to replace Jesus with yourself that's scary well let's look at the words of Jesus himself let's go to John chapter 3 verse 36 if you won't listen to me and what I believe and what I teach would you listen to Jesus well I think you should because he's the one that died on the cross he's the one that did the one sacrifice forever for all sins what Jesus said well in John chapter 3 in verse 36 I love this first John 3:36 says he that believeth on the son hath everlasting life and he that believeth not the son shall not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him so you have eternal life now half is has well has is the present so has eternal life so Jesus says if you believe on him you have eternal life what is that it's life for all eternity how could you lose it if you could lose it then God's a liar God's an Indian giver he gives you a gift of eternal life but then you lose it and God didn't didn't tell the truth because it wasn't eternal how can you lose something that's eternal it's impossible people aren't reading their Bible people don't understand what the Bible says salvation is eternal life given as a gift when you believe it's Redemption for all eternity you're eternally redeemed it is eternal salvation and you have that internal life the moment you believe how could you lose it it's eternal you can't lose something that's eternal because eternal means it turn it T what is John 3:16 so many people know john 3:16 for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life everlasting what is everlasting it's something that lasts forever you got the word right there ever lasting so if it's everlasting that it lasts forever it's always lasting so you have eternal life if you're saved and you can't lose it if you could lose it then God is a liar because he said he gave you something that is forever and everlasting and he made one sacrifice forever for all sin so does your salvation depend upon your own works it doesn't sound like it depends upon him giving you the gift of something that's everlasting I just don't understand how these people can run around and say oh no you can lose your salvation well you know what I teach I teach you can lose your salvation but you can't lose college salvation let me explain if you think you can save yourself then you can't because the Bible doesn't teach that you can set yourself so you can lose that because you never had it to begin with in your mind you're thinking I'm saying don't same time say because I did something and guess what you do something tomorrow you'll say oh I'm not saying yep you just lost it because in your mind you thought you had something that you didn't have so you can lose your salvation but when God saves you you can't that you see salvation from God is eternal life eternal Redemption everlasting life eternal salvation you have it and you can't lose it and we're going to look at some words of Jesus right now that prove when Jesus said I gave you a turn of life when I save you no man can take that away you have salvation and you you're a Christian forever you're once saved always saved John 5:24 Jesus Christ is speaking in John 5:24 Jesus says barely barely I said to you he that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation but is passed from death unto life so when you believe and you receive God's free gift of salvation you passed from death to what to life which we've already seen is eternal life so when you're saved you possess eternal life the moment you believe Jesus Christ believe in Jesus don't you you don't think Jesus would lie to you so these are Jesus words right so Jesus says you've passed from death unto life you have eternal life when you believe in what does that sound like once they'd always say so who are you to try to say no man I can lose it okay if you can lose it then why did Jesus even die to begin with why would he die just for people to be saying that their past sins but then leave it up to you for your rest of your sins that's ridiculous he died once for all sin the Bible says look at John chapter 6 and verse 47 John 6:47 if you think you can lose your salvation that shows you have no understanding of the true gospel of the gift of salvation through what Jesus did to pay for all sins past present and future John 6:47 says verily verily I say to you he that believeth on me hath everlasting life has everlasting life that's what half is is has so you have everlasting life if you believe the gospel so once saved always saved oh yeah that's where Jesus preaches don't you don't you believe in Jesus don't you want to follow Jesus his words he says when you're saved you have something that's eternal how could you lose it you see it's not you that saves yourself if you can save yourself then yeah you could lose that but when Jesus saves you the Bible says you're he is how could he lose you we're gonna look in a minute you become a son of God you're born anew according to the Bible let's look at John chapter 10 very strong words by Jesus Christ John chapter 10 and verse 27 through 30 John 10:27 my sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me and I give it to them eternal life free gift of something that's eternal for all eternity and they shall never perish why because they have passed from death unto life and they shall never perish Jesus says neither show me man pluck them out of my hand my father which gave them me is greater than all and no man is able to pluck them out of my father's hands I and my father are one so Jesus is saying it's like this it's like my hand when you're saved you're in my hand and I my father one it's like my father goes like this it puts his hand around mine and he says they're mine and no man can take him out well that sounds like one saved always saved to me how about you well that's not as security in Christ and that's not eternal security I don't know what is who's going to come along and move the father's hand okay well let's say they do who's going to come along and open the sons hand when he said no man will pluck him out of my hand not even Satan himself can come in and pry away the fingers and pull you out if you're a Christian and you're saved you're in Christ's hand and a father's hand is holding it tight and according to the Bible you have eternal life well that sounds to me like once they'd always saved and that's not what I believe that's just what the Bible says see it's not me trying to force the Bible to say what I believe it's me following what the Bible says because the table says it not believe it John 14:16 says and I will pray the father and he should give you another comforter that he may abide with you watch this forever now according the Bible to come is the Holy Spirit the comforter is the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit comes inside of the believer for until the time you send and then you lose it it's how about the teaches is that what Jesus said you get the Holy Spirit but when you send it goes away and comes back goes away comes back you know I told you many times before before I would say that was a charismatic I was Pentecostal and I believe that you could lose the whole experience a comeback and leave and go back and come back come back and so he was going back and forth like this burnt himself out boom boom boom boom boom coming and going coming and going but after I got saved and actually read the Bible I realize had a comfort comes inside you and once the comforters inside you he's there forever that's just not what I'm saying that's what Jesus said we're look at some other verses here in a second that you're sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise that means he can't come out he sealed himself inside it's like he's gone in shut the door and locked it from the inside now how are you gonna reach in and pull the Holy Spirit out if you're a Christian see the Bible teaches that once you're saved you're always saying now those are the words of Jesus are those good enough for you I hope so according to what Jesus says you're saved by believing and when you believe you have eternal life eternal Redemption eternal salvation it's called everlasting life you have that life you have past from life into death and the comforter the Holy Spirit will dwell in you for ever what about Paul let's go look at the words of Paul what does Paul have to say about it because you know Paul is the apostle to the Gentiles he's our apostle today what does Paul have to say let's look at the words of Paul let's go to Romans chapter 8 and for those who don't know we're in the church age and according to the Bible the Apostle for the church aids apostle for the Gentiles is the Apostle Paul and there are many writings in Paul that talk about once saved always saved that when you believe and you trust Jesus as your Savior by trusting the gospel you have eternal life and you have the Spirit of God that dwells in you eternally even more than that you become a son Oh God Romans chapter 8 and verse 35 through 39 it says who shall separate us from the love of Christ shall tribulation or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword 36 as it is written for that for thy sake we are killed all the day long we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter verse 37 nay and all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us so we're more than conquerors when we're saved verse 13 for I'm persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers nor things present nor things to come nor height nor depth nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord so according to Paul nothing nothing can separate us from God from Jesus from our Savior once we're saved we're always saved we're in Christ second Corinthians chapter one verse 22 the Bible tells us this will start verse 21 now he which established us with you in Christ and hath anointed us is God who had also sealed us and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts he says when you're saved you're sealed with the Holy Spirit of God well if it's sealed that how could he leave you see a lot of people that preach against once they've always say they say when you get saved you get the Holy Spirit but if you do wrong Holy Spirit leaves well then what does it mean sealed when you seal something that means you put it in there like an envelope open envelope put something in it lick it it's sealed it can't get out it's supposed to stay there for a reason what's the reason of the Holy Spirit being inside of us to take us to heaven when we die it can't be going in and out and in and out and in and out otherwise it's not sealed let's go to Ephesians chapter 1 Bible tells us how long were sealed till till until it says we're saved till the day of redemption in Ephesians 4:30 what is the day of redemption well it's the rapture if you know your Bible you know that Jesus was out here and after Jesus the Apostles preached and they said okay Paul I want you to go and we're under the ministry of Paul today until the rapture and the rapture is called the day of redemption why because it's the redemption of the body now for those who don't know you have three parts you have a body a soul and spirit well your spirit when you're born is dead there's nothing in that spirit so you're 2/3 of them in your point 666 because 2/3 is 0.666 Revelation says that's the number of a man it's also the number of the beast so the Bible says you're born with a dead spirit so you're live in your body but everything you do in the body when you sin is charged to your soul that's why when you die the soul goes to hell but it said Corinthians chapter 5 it stole we're told that you become a new creature in Christ in Colossians it says your your body is circumcised when you trust Jesus and the Holy Spirit of God comes inside of you and melds with you and seals himself inside so you're sealed with the Holy Spirit so you're a new creature a new creature in Christ so when you sin who is it that sinan it's the flesh but that flesh sins the Bible says it will read what it says but the new creature inside can't sin when that body sins it's the flesh that sins but the new creature does not that's why over in 1st John it says that when you're saved you're not you can't sin you see the new creature he says even as Christians sinneth not the new creature does not sin it's the body that sins well the new creature is sealed with the holy spirit of promise the Bible calls this the purchased possession this is what belongs to God now how can it go to hell for this to go to hell means the Holy Spirit yes it goes to hell so can a Christian go to hell no can the Holy Spirit leave what if it left then there was no sealing there is God a liar can God lie no so when he says that you're sealed with the Holy Spirit promise that means your seal how long till the day of redemption so that means that the rapture it's the Holy Spirit that takes you if you die before the rapture then this new creature will go to heaven and the body will go to the grave you see a lot of people they don't understand the Bible so they go through there and say what I don't believe it once they've always said about that you have to do something and so they're trying to please God by their works and say well hope he accepts me I hope I did good enough and that spits in the face of Jesus who died on the cross for their sins he died because he wanted to be the savior because he wanted people to realize hey whatever you do it's always the work of a sinner and it will never be good enough for me so I did the only thing that would be good enough when I came and died on the cross now you either trust that and let me give you the gift of eternal life or you don't and if you don't trust that you'll die go to hell because you're thinking you're your own Savior like I said the beginning of this this message that you're trying to make to saviors Jesus is one and he can only save you so far then you have to save yourself nope either you give up all everything that you do and trust in what he did to save you are you spit in his face and say what you did isn't enough and you become your own Savior but you can't save yourself there's only one Savior Jesus Christ looking similar verses Ephesians 1:13 says and whom ye also trusted after that ye heard the word of truth the gospel of your salvation whom after that you believed you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise verse 14 which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession unto the praise of his glory this is the person's possession the soul so that Souls no longer yours when you become saved it's God's so how can you lose your salvation what what a bit be didn't lose your salvation be to lose your soul you can't lose your soul because not yours anymore belongs to God it says he bought it he redeemed it he purchased it so this is his and that's the new creature inside with his Holy Spirit now you can send in the flesh sure you can bob says grieve not the Holy Spirit of God when you sent in this flesh it grieves the spirit but the Spirit is not going to leave he's inside sealed if you're a Christian if you're truly say the problem with many people today is they're not saved they think they are but they're not because they haven't come through the gospel first Thessalonians looking at more verses that Paul preached 1st Thessalonians 5 verse 23 24 first s illumines 523 and the very God of peace sanctify you wholly and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless since the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ basically that calleth you who also will do it what's he going to do he's going to preserve your soul in his spirit and it'll go at the rapture of the day of redemption then at the rapture God will resurrect your body and your body your soul and your spirit will preserve blameless through Jesus Christ a promise of Jesus in which he promises to preserve all three do you believe the Bible let's go to 2nd Timothy time and time again the Bible tells us what salvation is it's a free gift of eternal life that God offers to all who L believe now let's look at some more verses 2nd Timothy chapter 1 and verse 9 through 12 second timothy 9 i 1 9 through 12 9 says who has saved us and called us with a holy calling not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace you see are not saved by works nor do you stay saved by works you are saved not according to works I mean it's so plain right here in the verse who has saved us if you believe in the gospel you're safe you don't have to worry about losing your salvation because once you're saved you're always saying because you're a new creature that's been born again we're going to look at that in a second so he says who has saved us not according to our works but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began but now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ who have abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel so it's all through the gospel that when you believe you pass from life are from death unto life when you receive the comforter you receive him forever you have everlasting life when you're a Christian verse 11 word floor I'm appointed a preacher and an apostle and a teacher of the Gentiles for the witch cause I also suffer these things nevertheless I'm not ashamed for I know whom I have believed and persuaded that he is able to keep that which I've committed unto him against that day for whatever I do in this body he's keeping that unto himself he's not going to bring it up again because all my sins were judged here you see my sins are under the blood and any sins that I do as a Christian are just sins of the flesh and in the body sure I feel sorry for him sure I hate them sure I don't want to do it but I can't lose the Holy Spirit because jesus said I have it forever so either Jesus is a liar or Jesus isn't telling the truth it is telling the truth and everybody else that says though once they've always saved is it true they're the liars look at some more verses 2nd Timothy did I read that one yeah I just read 2nd to me I want to go to Romans chapter 8 now Romans chapter 8 I'm just trying to show you Scripture so you'll know how great salvation is because salvation is so wonderful because it's by grace and grace is giving you something that you don't deserve well none of us deserve salvation but it's also God not giving you what you do deserve everyone deserves to go to hell because of the sins of their flesh but by grace God gives them holy spirit and eternal life when they believe the gospel Romans 8:15 through 17 says first many are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God for you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear but you have received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba Father the spirit itself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God and if children then heirs heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ if so be that we suffer with him that we may be glorified together so what does the Bible say it says we're adopted we are children of God we are also called the sons of God Jesus says over there in John chapter 3 Marvel not that I say to thee that you must you must be born again why well first time you're born you got a dead spirit so when you trust the gospel then your spirit is quickened it's brought to life and you have eternal life because you have the eternal spirit in you and when you have eternal life that new creature is called a son of God you become a son of God you're born again spiritually when you're born again you're born as a son of God now what does that mean well can a son of God go to hell I think what that means is once saved always saved because you're sealed with the Holy Spirit II become God's son and you're born again now how is it possible to come unborn again tell me that you see the first birth when you're born of your mother that's it you're born you can't go oh man I was born I didn't want to be well I'm going to just dive back into my mother's womb and not be born that's impossible once you're born you're born so the new birth is being born again spiritually and you become a son of God how do you become unborn again how do you unbecoming son of God you don't not only are you born a son of god you're adopted which is even more powerful I don't have time to get into that let's go to first Corinthians 4:15 how do you become born again first corinthians 4:15 teaches paul says for though you have ten thousand instructors of christ yet have you not many fathers for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel so you're begotten through the gospel so there's a begetting that takes place when you come to Jesus and you trust the gospel you are begotten that means you become a new creature but that new creature is the son of God you become the children of God through Jesus Christ so if you're born again and you become God's child how can you lose that there are good children and there are bad children but they're still children see I have two girls my two girls can't ever not be my two girls I don't care if they move halfway around the world they're on the other side of the world and they change their name who's their father this guy me so you get saved you become the purchased possession of Christ the Holy Spirit is sealed within you you're a new creature and you say oh I don't care anymore you move the other side of the world change your name who's your father still if you've been born again it's God the Father you see you might be a disobedient son the Bible talks about that there are obedient sons their disobedience sons what does God do to a disobedient son whom the Lord loveth you chasing it and scourges every son whom he receiveth what you're doing the flesh you reap what you sow God will chastise you in the flesh but that that's a purchase possession that belongs to God that soul can never go to hell because that's a new creature you can't lose it that's why once saved always saved is the Bible doctrine of salvation today Galatians 4:6 says because you are sons God had sent forth the spirit of his son into your hearts crying Abba Father son's relations 326 for your all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus faith saves Ephesians 2:8 9 says for by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is gift of God not of works lest any man should boast it's all about God's grace and in this time the church age God chose to give eternal life and give eternal salvation to all who believe salvation by faith when you believe you're sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise you have the gift of eternal life when you're saying you have passed from death into life you receive the comforter for Edberg that means he dwells inside you forever you're a child of God your son of God when you believe you're also a part of the body of Christ go to Ephesians chapter 3 and verse 6 Ephesians 3:6 says that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs of the same body and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel the gospel we are saved it puts you into the body of seasons 5:30 says for we are members of his body and of his flesh and of his bones so when you're sick you become part of the body of Christ you're part of his body so I ask you this how could you lose your salvation for you to lose your salvation would be for God to have to cut off part of his body did you just lose it is God going to cut off his finger is God going to cut off his thumb is it God not mutilating himself he's building his body through those who are saved and once they're saved they're always safe because they're a new creature and the Holy Spirit has come in to dwell with them 1st Corinthians chapter 12 verse 12 for as the body is one and hath many members and all the members of that one body being many are one body so also is Christ first our 10 for by one spirit are we all baptized into one body whether it be Jews or Gentiles whether we be bond or free we all have been all made to drink it to one body at once spirit the body is not one member but many I'm going to jump down to verse 25 that there should be no schism in the body but that the members should have the same care one for another and when the one member suffer all the members suffer with it or one member be honoured all the other members rejoice with it verse 27 now ye are the body of Christ and members in particular what's God going to start cutting up his body every time somebody sins and supposedly lose their salvation as some of you teach know when you're part of his body like we said earlier you're in his hand and God the Father has that hand and nothing can pluck you out of the hand of God that's why salvation is so wonderful it's being saved for all eternity it's eternal life it's once saved always saved because that's what Jesus taught that's what Paul our possible apostle taught that's what the Bible says I mean you simply look at the words this is not a private interpretation when he says he'll give you the comforter in the Holy Spirit forever that means forever the Holy Spirit dwells in the believer that's what the Bible teaches do I believe in once saved always saved yeah because that's what the Bible says now let me ask you this question if a person could lose their salvation could they ever get it back you see there are a lot of denominations out there that say no if you can lose your salvation but if you do just ask Jesus to save you again or just house these back in your heart or just repent and get right and Jesus will come back in you where are they getting that from they're not getting it from the Bible because if you go to Hebrews chapter 6 there's a passage of scripture that talks about what happens if it were possible to lose your salvation and you can't lose your salvation today in the church age it's impossible but if it were possible to lose your salvation I have bad news the Bible says you could never get it back ever you know there's people out there to believe oh no you can get saved and get the Holy Spirit but you sin he's going to leave well those same people say no but I can get a Mac they're denying the Scriptures yet again because they're not reading the Bible let's go to Hebrews chapter 6 in verse 4 through 6 I watch what this says Hebrews 6:4 36 says for it is possum impossible for it is impossible for those who were once enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the world to come if now notice if this is the key word it's impossible if you lose your salvation to get it back is what he's saying but there's no if because we've already seen the verses that say once you're saved you're always safe so you don't have to worry about the if but it says if if they fall away to renew them again to repentance seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh and put him to an open shame so Hebrews six four through six say it is impossible if you were saved if you lose the holy spirit to ever get it back again it's impossible to get back so once saved always saved you want to believe that because that's what the Bible teaches or do you want to believe no no you can lose it but you know lost it so can never get it back that's the only two possibilities but no no you want to forget the Bible and get in the middle and say no I can lose but I can get it back by my good works and then lose it and get it back and then lose your inventing a doctrine that's not in the Bible if you teach that you can get saved and lose it and get it back and lose it and get it back and lose it and get it back and lose it well as a matter of fact in Matthew chapter 7 verse 22 Jesus is speaking and he says many will say to me in that day Lord Lord have we not prophesied in the name and thy name have cast out devils and and I'm name done many wonderful works and look at what Jesus says and then will I profess unto them I never knew you depart from me ye that work iniquity notice what it doesn't say it doesn't say depart from me I only knew you four hundred and thirty three times it says I never knew you you see here either saved through the gospel and sealed and have eternal life or you're lost hey God says I never need there's no in-between and most of these people probably all of them who think they can lose their salvation it's because they are lost and on their way to hell because deep down in their mind they're thinking there's something I've got to do to be saved there's something I've got to do to be saved there's something I've got to do to be saved and what do they do when they're saying what Jesus did wasn't enough to save me so they're rejecting the cross they're spitting in the face of Christ they're taking Jesus blood and trampling on it the Bible says there's only one doctrine of salvation for us today in the Bible Jesus said it Paul said it here begotten through the gospel when you trust the gospel you become a son of God you receive the Holy Spirit for ever he cannot lose you've passed from death unto life you receive that gift of eternal life it's eternal salvation eternal redemption in Christ Jesus either believe that or you don't if you do then you're underway to happen because the Bible teaches that salvation if you believe the gospel you have eternal life and you're safe forever don't believe that you're going to heaven because you're rejecting what Jesus said you're calling God a liar and you're rejecting the actual scriptural verses that he gave I'm going to give you two more verses about this once saved always saved you can take them or leave them I learned a long time ago that I can't change people's minds and I told you before that my my background was this I went to a church for four years before I was saved that made fun of once saved always saved and then told me you've got to do something to get saved you can get the Holy Spirit but if you do this or you do that you'll lose it and I was lost I was lost as a golf ball in high weeds thank God my father when I moved back home to Florida he showed me how to be safe and he showed me what the Bible teach and I learned from the Scriptures how great salvation is it's so wonderful to not have to live in fear oh I hope I'm safe today I just don't know what I'm saying no I know that I know that I know I'm saved why do I know because God said it and that's good enough for me I believe what he said when he said these things so two more verses Moxley three Hebrews 7:25 and 26 Hebrews chapter 7 verse 25 speaking of Jesus Christ Hebrews 7:25 wherefore he is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them is it us that keeps our salvation by what we do or is it Jesus who ever liveth to make intercession for us verse 26 for such a high priest became us who is holy harmless undefiled separate from sinners and made higher than the heavens I'll go ahead and read the next verse who needed not daily as those high priests to offer up sacrifice first for his own sins and then for the peoples for this he did once when he offered up himself on the cross when he offered up himself this he did once what did he do once the one sacrifice forever for sins all sins and he's able to save to the uttermost anyone that will trust solely upon him and his finished work of the gospel the Gospels 1st Corinthians 15 1 through 4 Christ died for our sins was buried and rose again the third day according to the scriptures it was like while you say that every week you know well yeah because there's still people too haven't got it there's still people that don't understand there's still people say yeah whatever Jesus did that but I've got to do such-and-such to keep the Holy Spirit or he'll leave no he said he'd be in you forever if you believe so you've got a false doctrine you're miss reading the Bible you're denying the fact that that once saved always saved means that Jesus did the one sacrifice forever for all sin and when he saves you he's purchased you he's redeemed you he's he's taken you as his son and you're a joint heir with him he can't deny his son he came to not you if you're his son Hebrews chapter 9 in verse 26 last verse Hebrews 9:26 actually I'm going to read all the way to verse 28 and want you to look at how many times we see this one word once when you're saved all it takes is to be saved once can't lose it once you're saved you're safe forever and you receive the Holy Spirit for ever it's ever lasting life the gift that God offers Hebrews 9:26 through 28 now watch this for then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world but now once in the end of the world had the appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself and as it is appointed a man wants to die but after this the judgment so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation so Christ once offered himself to bear the sins of many one sacrifice forever we started with what Hebrews 10:10 let's go ahead and read it again Hebrews 10:10 by the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all once for all verse 12 but this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever what does that mean that means he can't come down and be sacrificed again that means every time you sit in the future he doesn't have to die on the cross again that means he died on the cross for all the sins past present future where's Jesus Christ now he's in heaven the Bible says he seated at the right hand of God why is he sitting down he's doesn't have to stand up why is he sitting down because he's resting from the work that he did once for all on the cross account so do I believe in once saved always saved you're darn tootin I do why do I believe it cuz my denomination says it no I'm glad they do I'm glad many Baptists believe this but I believe because they do I believe because the Bible says it and as I read through the scriptures I can't miss it so my question is why do you miss it why are there so many denominations out there today that say well you got to get saved and trust Jesus as your Savior but then you better be careful because you can lose it why would they say such a thing they're denying the very words of Jesus because Jesus said no when I give you the comforter he dwells in you for ever I save you I make you my son I give you the adoption whereby you cry Abba Father when I save you it's because I purchased you and I put my Holy Spirit and I sealed him inside of you I save you I give you a gift and God says I'm not an Indian giver I don't give somebody something in it turn around take it back Jesus said when you're saved you're in his hand and God the father's hand takes him and closes his hand and no man can pluck you out I'm inclined to believe the words of Jesus well I'm inclined to believe the words of Paul and I say bunk on anybody else that teaches anything else I say phooey on you that sells somebody they have to work to keep their salvation that's not what the Bible teaches so now let's make it all personal let's bring it all this we have here let's bring it all into you what do you believe if you were to die right now and stand eyeball-to-eyeball with Jesus Christ and he should say why should I let you into heaven what would you say how would you respond would you say well Lord because I did good stuff and I tried is it because your mindset is you think you're helping god save you so you have to do things to be saved bad news you're lost your trust and what Jesus did and that's how you say how your shape but if you trust in what you did that's awful Jesus looks at that and says why why are you saying that what I did wasn't enough why are you trying to think that you can do more than I did to get to heaven are you saved I don't know I don't know your heart I can't see you through the screen but I know one thing I know what the Bible teaches you're either saved by trusting solely upon what Jesus did Plus and I think - nothing don't add to the work of Christ you trust what Jesus did and you're saved are you trusting something else and you're lost if you're trusting and anything you do to get you to heaven and someday you'll hear these words that part from me either work iniquity I know you not sorry saved I hope so you're not saying it's saved go the cloud Church or look up past sermons start at the bottom the one with the gospel and work your way up is look at how the Bible teaches to be saved and how it all goes back to what Jesus did once for all because he did it once you don't have to get saved once because once you're saved you're always safe because jesus paid it all appreciate your watching come back next week at the cloud church organs we have new sermons and English in Spanish and we look forward to you coming back and studying the Word of God with us god bless
