Old Gold Found Metal Detecting Huge Beach Cut

[Music] okay guys back at the beach and it's about seven in the morning and it's really cold it's 40 degrees celsius today i'm not sure that is in fahrenheit but yeah it's freezing um i can't believe people are swimming anyway guys um it's been really windy last night and yeah i've got to come down and do as many hunts as possible because the window of opportunity is slowly closing so because uh once these waves stop in about three weeks time um the beach just stands in and the jewelry shop shuts so um anyway i'm heading over to these exposed pipes there's a whole load of targets just in here and there's more targets than you can dig so it's a matter of um trying to pick out the good targets and there's a lot of iron too okay let's see how we go first target of the day 14 to a 16. and once again i'm going to do some shout outs because um i forgot a couple of people in my last shout out so um that one's out already sorry guys once again i'm having troubles talking and hunting uh so i want to give a shout out to jj james uh i believe he's um i think he's hunting in california i could be wrong but um the thing i love about his channel is he uses lots of different equipment and he gets into the technical aspects of um metal detecting so yeah really cool channel check him out uh jj james i'll pop it up on the screen okay it's just a zip full um oh damn this one is called uh also jj james is the master of finding um mobile phones he's he's the iphone master so um yeah check out his channel there's another target here uh second was metal detecting channel um i haven't had a chance to watch he's too often but he's been a subscriber of mine for a long time says he watches all the videos so um i want to give a quick shout out to him metal detecting channel and uh also another long-term subscriber dave uh dirt fishing dave and he did australia he's in my um home country uh he doesn't do beach hunting he just does uh hunting in all parks looking for um old silver coins but um he does he does do the occasional beach hunt but um yeah not too often anyway guys that's the shout outs for today um sorry i can't i can't shout out everyone there's so many good channels i'm not sure about this one okay it's out now it's a night in ah now the waves are coming i just there it is against the key okay let's keep going [Music] uh this one's a 10. it's also dropping down to a two not very stable see but it is that's a coin look at all the iron in there guys there's two other iron targets so um yeah you need uh in these conditions you really need to detect it with good separation okay guys got a solid 31. i am avoiding the high targets but um sometimes these are the 24 karat gold rings i don't want to leave them behind okay it's just a coin okay it's um this is the us quarter i might check the date on that one okay yeah i just detected along this cut here and um there are targets everywhere but they're all um coins keys and bullets so um i think i'm gonna move i thought that'd be um heavier targeting like um some rings anyway um i did my best excuse me i'm gonna head up north and um see what's going on up there okay he's got a side two two to a five i'm kind of searching for these low targets at the moment it's crazy how many targets have washed up that's more scrap metal oh no it's not that's a pendant strange pendant okay okay got a very quiet um one two let's pop it up to a nine that's the side one and it is okay it's like a it's tendon not silver bring it up with the one unless it's not the target there okay it's weird okay let's get going okay it's a nice sounding 14 target all right first ring for the day that's most likely a silver ring i actually like the design of these ones all right cool i was gonna leave this area but i might hang around a bit let's see what we got hey guys super loud 28 to 30. it's disappeared keep it down oh come on okay how much water is that oh okay that's it's a cool looking ring silver i'm going to put this one in the tumbler and shine it up for you guys because i haven't really found much for today's video check out this guys this is what the big waves and storms have done knock down all these palm trees um i'm guessing the government put down these sandbags i have no idea where these bricks come from but um yeah the beach really got smashed this year we had three typhoons go through let's see the devastation see the stairs hovering okay got a four or six uh it's very quiet but i like these targets still down there which means it's probably not gold oh hang on it looks a bit cold guys i see copper let's rinse this off okay there's another yeah this is a part of the all right whatever it is it's um it's falling apart let me rinse it yeah i think it's a fake chain yeah it's just snapping registering low like gold okay guys not sure what to think of this i'll um clean it up the links are definitely copper yeah i don't think this has gone but it was ringing up as a four which is normally gold so you notice okay i'll um have to get back to you on this one i just got deeper and um seems like i found more of this chain yeah it's just snapping yeah i think it's a fake fake gold chain okay let's keep going i know you guys can see this the guys washing the windows from outside crazy no harness no safety he's climbing back in [Music] vietnam okay it's a nice sounding eight nine target that sounds super soft nice ring okay it's got a love heart on there this is probably stainless uh yeah a lot of stuff inside from what i can see guys i just um it was a very quiet target it's very low um it's a five i haven't checked it yet but it looks like a ring it's a nice looking ring actually okay cool yeah most likely another stainless ring silver would have gone black okay i'm having a um finding a patch of rings on my way back i'm just walking back to the motorbike okay let's get going hey guys got a low target here jumping from a three to seven all right i got it go to solid seven i can't see it no there it is oh okay it's another ring i found a couple more rings too guys the um the gopro key is turning off but um hopefully this one's filming it's got an interesting target here i don't know what it is oh okay guys this is this is very cool so this is like a little bead bracelet but look what's also in the scoop it's a little pendant and it looks gold okay uh let's um let's see what we got that's a one gotta be right on top of that okay so this is the target that i picked up and this just somehow ended up in the scoop just fewer fewer luck wow i wonder how many targets are out there that we're missing all right guys so welcome to the wrap up uh another good hunt guys uh it's that time of year uh the storms the typhoons uh the sand is all turned up so um i'm finding some pretty good targets so i'll quickly go through the fines so uh lots of coins today and a lot of these coin sorry a lot of these coins are from the 1960s so we're really down to the bottom layers now and you can probably see here there's a lot of um coins from the united states there's uh two quarters four nickels uh two pennies and i'm also getting old coins from vietnam so uh these ones are five dong coins and five dong is like a fraction of a cent now it's like point zero zero zero three cents so um yeah these are also 5 000 long coins which i guess are about 20 cents um but they are no longer in circulation um they stopped circulating these about under 13 years ago um okay moving on to the i know i guess it's bling so yeah there's a bit of heart bling this one kinda looks gold but i didn't clean this one up uh this one's kind of cool when i scratched on the testing stone uh it looked silver but i have to clean this one up i thought it was uh bronze or copper but uh anyway um it's like another little star it's a star star pendant hello kitty earring as always uh another heart pendant i think this one's silver and this one also tested silver and i also found these uh dog tags so these are military dog tags from it's actually i won't show you the name because i did try to post this on a facebook group and my post got removed because of political reasons so um okay yeah we shouldn't get into that um okay moving on to the good stuff so find of the day i think it's this one that's a cool looking silver ring um i tried to clean this one up as best i could i put in the tumbler and then i used some of the silver cleaning cream to polish it up but um i probably should have put in the tumbler for longer this one's also a nice design i like this one uh so as for today's gold this one i when i dug this one out this one was ringing up as good it was a one and a two target but it was uh totally crusted over so there's a good chance this is this was a pendant it had a little hook on it i saw it in the video but the hook snapped off in the tumbler but uh this one's testing gold so uh that was a surprise i thought this was just trash and another gold target was uh this sort of i know like ballerina or dancer and unfortunately in the tumblr it broke so it's not solid gold it was splitting it split into two pieces and one of the pieces sort of crumbled away so uh this is super old gold guys but this one is stamp gold um as for this chain um i'm guessing this is gold-plated bronze or copper it's kind of falling apart but um yeah unfortunately i doubt that's real i also found many stainless steel rings today and i'm guessing that's because of the style of my hunting at the moment which is uh just looking for targets between 1 2 17 18 and yeah a lot of the stainless rings ring up in that area um but that's about it guys so like i said in the introduction i think we still have a few weeks left of the heavy waves rough surf and that causes the beach erosion uh but after that the beach stands in and uh things become quiet so uh that's when you don't hear from me for a few months because i don't like
