Ring Found Metal Detecting the Beach with Minelab Manticore | Episode 11

water's coming in oh my goodness [Music] all right folks Jason here again it's about nine o'clock at night maybe 9 15. and we're back here at Jake's Beach so there's supposed to be a low tide fairly low oh there's people eating dinner in there anyways the low tide is going to be about a 0.5 not too low but low enough that we should be able to get out there around 1 15 a.m tonight so we we'll see what we can find looks like there's been some changes to this beach definitely not seeing as many rocks looks like they may have moved some of this sand around I don't know if you can see it but let's just see what we can find first Target in and it rang up like an eight I don't know why it rang up like an eight but it's a it's a brass or something looking screw maybe it's uh stainless steel thank you maybe it's just coated with something but it's a it's a screw it was right in here it was ringing up like a 99 took a couple of Scoops out [Music] now it's a really solid like 73. there it is bright red look at that that's a that's a copper penny I don't know it doesn't sound great all right it's in the scoop do a little rinse yeah all right there it is it's a quarter all right out of this hole 65-ish a lot of noises down here see was it just this it might have just been this thing here sounds like iron no no no something else in there there we go that was iron though so there was iron in there too okay we got ourselves a coin looks like it's a penny like a older copper penny there it is it is the glaberite [Music] I'm not gonna lie this looked pretty good coming out of the sand I don't know the lighting and stuff it looked it looked gold I think I've just got Gold Fever I got a fever it's just some brass though it started out as like a 57 and now it's ringing up like a 91 97 there's a lot of Rocks Under the surface um oh boy it's really hurting the scoop I think I got it in a scoop oh okay I see it oh wow that rock looks like a potato that's cool some other big rocks in there yeah I think that I've rediscovered that Penny Garden I was finding last time I was here it's a zinc penny anyways I've I've found that the the best way to approach these rocks is just when you get the scoop in to the sand and you're hitting rocks just give it a kind of a wiggle back and forth and just let it kind of find its way Don't Force It I'm really doing a number on the tip of my scoop so anyways I wanted to share that with you it's another penny it was ringing up an eight and I think I've dug one of these before it's like a insulator end cap thingy for uh some electrical cable Shield Penny it's running up pretty high looks like a mermaid earring or something it's all cobbled with rocks and shells and grime yeah I think a mermaid would just put that right in their ear like that it's probably um Aerials Ariel's earring we got one of those little thingamabobs in case you were looking for one of those 12 13 14 it was down in the rocks and I just carried it up here I don't know I don't have my hopes up for this one you see glass right there that's kind of cool oh there it is I see the target now this just goes to show these these corroded zinc pennies man they bring up all over the place I know I've said this before but I had one in Pacific Beach ring up as a one two or a two three something like that well we found one of those thingies yeah there it is well this little bugger rang up in eight I thought it was just going to be some can slaw but it's actually one of those 2032 or whatever CR2032 little batteries and it looks like it's corroding so it's good to get that off the beach tool what is this oh water's coming in we got ourselves a vacuum token quick Shine car wash cool we could use that if we find the place well whatever this is it's ringing up really high dump it out over here where the waves come now it's at like a 77. I can't see where it is comes the water is it oh no there it is I thought it was a globby right no It's actually an orange dime got ourselves an orange dime it's cool I think orange dimes all right whatever we got in the scoop is ringing up a four five [Music] all right it looks like the stainless steel snap part of a watch like a men's watch maybe a women's watch but you know a metal clasp that snaps closed on the wrist part guys I don't know what this is it rang up kind of janky uh in the in the 40s yeah I don't know no it looks too low quality to be gold let's double check what it rang up again now I'm going to toss it down yeah it's in the high 40s to 50 range let's check it with the magnet that'll tell us real quick yep it's magnetic sticking right to the magnet all right so we got some got some Junk Jewelry There It Is Well we got another like 29 30 something like that in the scoop probably another pull tab or or one of these little markers yeah it's a glob you're right sorry I didn't mean to get you all excited might be a quarter what is that I don't want to lose it if that was it [Music] is that it and the tone there what is this oh wow yeah you know what this is that's crazy I've never seen that it's like a cluster of rocks and grime and then there's a coin in there huh never seen that before let me double check it make sure that was it [Music] yeah it's ringing up really high too like 85 so I will take that home and check it out right now it's just a mystery coin dang It Bobby sounds like there might be a multiple targets here but it getting like a 52 I think it's probably just a penny yeah there it is 22-21 18. [Music] who's coming in oh my goodness do you see what I see uh what's that say it says golf on it I don't know it feels kind of heavy but this part right here looks kind of faded out like this looks this looks like gold I don't know I've never felt a if this was gold I've never felt one that's this large but it feels heavy oh guys see any markings I think this just might be plated oh my gosh look at that we'll have to get this home and double check I can't imagine that there would be a actual gold ring this size that would just say golf on it and Goofy well brings a ring all right I found a little basketball pump thing found that for my nephew Aaron so Aaron you will be getting a new basketball pump thingama Bob it's a little corroded but should still work fine there you go I'm guessing that's probably an older Penny or maybe a a dime all right it's out it looks like it's going to be a dime a dime is 10 times better than a penny cool we got a dime all right how's it going everybody Jason here for the wrap-up of Jake's Beach it's the next day uh we found quite a few targets a lot of them were junk and actually some of that junk is still in our pouch but let's just run through these pretty quick we found a lot of globby Rights a lot of iron trash and a lot of pull tabs I think there was eight pull tabs in total these ones always look really old I'm not sure it even says lift on it this one was actually really neat it rang up like silver but if you can see that it's actually a coin trapped between some rocks so I think I'll save that for another video breaking that open and seeing what kind of coin that is we found two four six eight ten twelve fourteen sixteen eighteen pennies some of them are very corroded we found a quarter and two dimes and we also found this it's a vacuum token for quick Shine car wash so we'll have to vacuum out the sand from the car if we can find the place this little thing here it looked like gold when I first pulled it out of the sand but it's actually magnetic so that's going to be iron thought this was a kind of cool rock an agate some sea glass this I was just joking around in the video I said it was like a mermaid earring I don't think it's an earring at all it's just a like a piece of a nail with some shells and crud stuck on there let's see what else oh yeah we got this little guy right here this was the most exciting find of the night it's our golf ring yeah look at that so this broke my heart because when I pulled it out of the scoop I was just really really uh certain that that was gold it looked like gold and it rang up really low now I've never found a ring that's this chunky that's made of gold so I don't know what that would ring up as gold but this thing rang up um between 17 and 27 I think it would ring up sometimes like 17 18 and then 27 28 something like that but yeah it's it's a golf ring it doesn't have any markings inside and you can tell that it's kind of faded here it's it's not gold I'm um I'm pretty sure it's stainless steel that's probably just plated in Gold I did stick it up next to a really powerful magnet and it it kind of wanted to stick but it wouldn't totally that's what makes me think it might be stainless steel but hey it's still exciting it's a golf ring so that was our exciting find of the night uh I really would have preferred it was actual gold but I'm okay with it so it'll go into our collection all right so I think that just about wraps it up for today or actually for yesterday uh but I hope you enjoyed I hope the lighting was okay I was trying something new uh with my headlamp I was using a like a wide angle beam and yeah so I hope you enjoyed and as always until next time happy Hunting thanks for watching [Music]
