Jewelry and Coins Found Metal Detecting the California Beach with Minelab Manticore | JDT Episode 9

I think that's it right there whatever it is you know what we got you know what we just found [Music] all right what's up everybody we're at another Beach today this one I like to call globby right Beach because the first time I was here I think probably 80 percent of what I dug was copyrights the waves were fairly low but that's like a that's got to be about a 10 foot breaker almost took the scoop out of my hand [Music] this guy over here is getting in trouble for being out in the water there's a big one holy cow that was crazy you think I could make it down to that shell line right there before the wave came in right now and then run back up I bet there's some good stuff down there though I was just talking to the Lifeguard and just asked him about how oh there is a target there I asked him how low it gets during low tide and he said it doesn't get [Music] he said it doesn't get very low [Music] he said because the uh the angle and stuff with the I think that's it right there whatever it is you know what we got you know what we just found just found [Laughter] oh that's awesome that's so cool we found a ring 15 so it's probably a stainless steel but um yeah we'll go ahead and put that in the pouch and we will check it out in a little while I can't believe that okay wow all right I thought this day was going to be a total loss anyways back to what I was saying the um the Lifeguard said that uh it doesn't ever really get very low it's just the the height to which these waves comes up changes here we've got another Target [Music] he said that because there's such a a steep drop off out there said just past the waves there it gets to be about 10 feet deep and that's why there's such extreme Breakers [Music] so oh I see it's just a tent stake I think yeah all right got ourselves a tent stake nice and shiny all right I think I'm freaking the Lifeguard out being where I'm at so I'm down on the bottom half of this cut up here there you go so I was down there there's a secondary cut forming these waves are no joke I'm not used to this in San Diego we don't have it like this down there beaches are a lot flatter in San Diego all right we got a 35 or something like that right in here let's see if I can get it I get it already I guess so [Music] yeah I think I see it it is there it is nice and shiny all right we had a 24. I think we got it out so let's take it up here water's coming in pretty hot okay [Music] all right we got ourselves an old crusty nickel it's good though that means we're finding some coins that sounds like it's probably a dime or an old Penny sounds shallow see if we can get it boy all right maybe it's not shallow so it's ringing up a pretty solid 69 whatever it is okay it's in the scoop [Music] oh dang the way the way that it was colored I thought it was a ring yeah it looks like it's an old penny very worn away you see what I mean I saw that in the scoop and oh it's light around the edges I thought it was a ring well that's another old Penny very old and when I say old I mean it's uh just really worn out it's been in the ground a long time so bringing up a 77 . [Music] okay it's out sounds like it's right about in there [Music] all right we got ourselves a dime crusty green old dime water's coming up fast oh there goes the detector the target's out here I think I might have just dumped it whatever it was you got a penny and I think there's another maybe a nickel so that here's a penny got that luckily we didn't drop it and I think right next to it yeah [Music] I guess that's a nickel okay I think we got it in the scoop let's bring it up here bring it up like a 24 FK it's in the scoop yeah all right called it old crusty nickel so a nickel and a penny we're still after that quarter that might be our quarter might be another dime though see a 88 still down in there though oh okay don't want to lose it if it is ah shoot might have lost it and it's gone so I think we just lost our quarter if that was quarter we're gonna go get another one though or we're gonna find it all right we are getting a nine I brought it up here and I think I see something goldish oh there's no way I don't think so that's that's the target though boy it sure looks gold it doesn't feel heavy like gold I think it's just like a brass or something okay well we'll get it home and take a better look at it and put it in here for now you missed it was right on the surface we found it so we we had lost it and now it's in the scoop there it is we got it I can't believe we found the one that we lost it was just a few Paces down there's our quarter hey we got a 3435 here it's also ringing up kind of like iron not anymore see kick this out a little bit more it sounds kind of like a globby right okay oh what's that that is not a glob you're right all right we got a piece of jewelry here it's like a little uh some kind of thing like a leaf or a feather kind of pattern there it is a little sand Critter in there there he is throw them back in the wet sand you just burrow down an 80. maybe a is that a penny bringing up an 80. yeah what is that no you know what I'm not sure what that is it's actually the size of a dime I mean I'm sorry a nickel it's the same size as a nickel but it's ringing up in 80. just for comparison here's a penny so it's not a penny because there's a penny interesting so I'm not sure what that is bringing up as an 80. you got like a 27 here [Music] it's still in there okay I think we got it let's get out of here up on this hill water's still been coming up all the way here though oh phone's ringing it's in the scoop okay got ourselves a nickel yeah wife's calling let's bag this and give her a call back so we're at the uh kind of the south end of the accessible part of the beach here and there's another cut I'm just kind of walking along and feeling my way along this cut here another thing I got out of there right in time I cut a little step here you can't tell but that's about at least eight feet down and this is a really steep slope right here waves are crashing up there anyways at a Target right here and got it out looks like we got ourselves a bottle cap cantaritos boy I just wanted to show this view right here incredible seagull taking off there he goes all right I was getting a four right down here the water's already come up I threw it up here shoot where'd it go here it is it's a solid four and it looks interesting oh all right it's uh it's the back of a watch 73 I think we got it in the scoop 75 now [Music] I think it's going to be a dime right there yeah we got ourselves a dime this looks like the top to a really old key 38. ringing pretty high got ourselves a quarter sure about that either these waves are still kicking kicking pretty hard so right in this little strip here quarter there it is I found a little sea turtle or something what is that is that some kind of charm looks like it went on a bracelet Maybe where all my friends were hanging out hey guys all right this is the last dig I promise so I found a spoon looks like it's been in there quite a while uh it might be made of silver I don't know but it's kind of like a little petite spoon I'm not sure cool all right it's the next day from globby right Beach went ahead and dumped the pouch into this little mesh basket take these out get a little Shake get all the sand off of there oh I can see that ring haven't looked at anything yet so it's just next day all right we're back yesterday's hunt at glabyrite beach was not bad at all we found quite a few little globby rights some of them are very small but they rang up pretty good but we also found a lot of other stuff too so let's start with the coins I think there was 10 pennies two four six eight ten pennies two four six dimes four nickels and two quarters we found two bottle caps one pull tab this is a key that I found very broken key but on the other side of the beach I found another piece of a key so I thought that would be interesting if they went together like that found the back of a watch it doesn't have any brand name or anything on it but it says Made in Japan stainless steel when that was in the sand it looked like a ring I I was excited but still interesting nonetheless found a couple pieces of jewelry here scraps of jewelry this looks like it was probably at one point some kind of sea turtle with little uh colored gems on it and this is like I don't know some kind of shape I guess it's a leaf neither of them are precious metals but still it's kind of interesting we got this spoon here I can see some kind of inscription on the back but I can't make out what it says it might be silver Sterling I'm not sure but it's old these were kind of interesting these are actually rocks that are very very flat and elongated and I grabbed them because they found them at two different parts of the beach but they kind of remind me of like surfboards so I thought that was kind of cool and of course we got this ring so I was really excited when I pulled this ring and I didn't even look at it until just uh earlier and I had guessed because it rang up so low I guessed it was stainless steel and I'm pretty sure my guess is right because it's it's actually a spinner ring and it's got a little arrow on it and it says it just says keep so I guess I'll keep it but yeah it spins it doesn't have any Engravings or markings on the inside but yeah I'm pretty sure it's stainless steel anyways that's about it in terms of the wrap up we
