Gold Chain Testing and Beach Hunt with XP DEUS II

okay guys so i'm at a new beach and well this isn't a beach this is another bay but um it's actually low tide at the moment and i have with me the new xp ds2 so this is my second hunt and i just met with a local woman and she said that apparently on saturday uh this place was packed so there's some sort of sorry some kind of event on so maybe there's some good targets anyway guys i'm gonna use the machine with no headphones today so you can hear the audio uh this beach is very quiet so i don't think i need the earphones and that way we can hear the targets together okay let's see how we go so i'm in program 13 which is beach free this is a new program or bgp sorry and it's a little bit unstable so we'll go through the menu so i'll do a frequency scan try and quiet it down and if that doesn't work this is uh there's a lot of buildings around here so i'm guessing um there's lots of wi-fi um i'm not sure if that really did too much iron volume reactivity so apparently if you bump up the reactivity you can also quiet the machine down that's audio response actually i might turn that up threshold discrimination so yeah it's a little bit unstable i'm gonna turn sensitivity down and um we'll do a ground balance okay let's see how we go okay to put on bottle cap rejection you scroll through the menu here and you go to expert so i'm in pitch mode at the moment i might leave it in pitch i normally sorry i normally use um all turns let's go and pitch uh okay go down to bottle cap oops i went past it and let's put bottle cap rejection on to see if it does anything hmm let's turn it up again four yeah that's a bit better okay let's run it on four i don't want to dig up bottle caps over there all right guys so i bought this um this is a chain i found in vietnam it's kind of a thin chain but i think the reason i found it was because it had a pendant on there and i just want to test this with um this new beach program it's a four target but you got it got to be on top of it oh hang on that's not a full target sorry it's still in um the menu 56 let's see how it sounds if i put it long ways well picks up the whole thing okay and i also have a small gold ring that i want to test it on this is a sub gram gold ring i'm not going to bury this down because i could lose it oh it smashes that wow okay even like 10 inches above it's hitting that so i'm not gonna miss that actually i might be able to turn the sensitivity up let's bump it up to 9. it sounds better up here 95. okay it's here now yeah it's smashing that okay guys let's find some good targets okay guys 55 target that's some serious black sand so there is a what's that there we go looks like a coin okay that's five cents that's a good sign guys if people have hunted here and they're not digging the low targets i like the low targets a lot of people in australia do coin hunting they hit the high targets uh two dollars and one dollars and they leave the low targets behind which i'm happy to dig let's get going okay guys new target this one's in the 50s i lost 30 target anyway this is super trashy guys i think these swimmers are going to get angry with me marking up their water what can you do oh there it is cool five cents i like it hey guys 50 target sounds like it's on the surface ah this thing's um it's working really well in the black sand guys and uh quite impressed okay we got a ring cool it's gone black could be silver 88. okay see your coin oh wow that's an old one cent coin from australia these have been out of circulation for god i don't know 25 30 years [Music] man i'm surprised this hasn't been picked up yet guess people don't like hunting this area it's so dirty okay keep going hey guys got two coins in this scoop got 10 cents and looks like 5 cents yeah that's 5 cents it's pretty cool two coins in one scoop oh man there's gotta be some jewelry or gold in here somewhere all right guys first 50 cent of the day this right uh this one rang up is a 75 i think yeah 77.75 working on a 90 target guys oh there we go it's a two dollar coin man it's going black normally these are gold color it's been down there a long time see some jewelry all right it's across so i don't think this is um silver guys it uh looks uh stainless better than trash another 10 cents by y'all that's 20 cents an airplane hold up five cents uh washer square nail found all right guys that's it for today i'm out of energy been swinging for about four or five hours now and um yeah i i'm starting to cramp up anyway not a bad day i guess lots of trash but also a lot of coins uh one ring and one cross so um yeah hang around for the wrap up i'll give you more of a review of the days to my thoughts on it stand by alright guys so wrap up time uh i didn't show the trash today i just leave it in a plastic bag because i'm staying at my sister's house and i don't really want to dirty the place up but yeah that bay was super trashy guys it's a little bit cleaner now but it's going to take a lot more hunts to clean that place up uh lots of coins so these ones are two dollar coins and this is a one dollar coin two 50 cent coins 20s tens and fives and that was just one one cent coin which um you know they're out of circulation here in australia now so fines of the day uh this is just a stainless steel cross and i guess the fine find of the day is this uh ring i'm not sure what this is made out of it's um it looks kind of silver it's gone black but the registry was a 50 which is a sort of mid to low tone on the deus 2 so this could be a junker uh as for the machine itself i have been out on a few more hunts since making this video while doing the wrap up and yeah i've got a lot more hours i've probably got about 20 25 hours under my belt now and i'm really starting to like this machine guys uh the target separation is incredible um you can really get between the trash and iron targets also it's super lightweight but what you have to worry about is the coil cover it fills up with sand very easily so this increases the weight really quick so i'm actually thinking of removing the coil cover and just hunting without it because yeah it's a little bit annoying but besides that this machine i think once you get your head around the menu and you become familiar with the turns it's a really good machine i'm operating in pitch mode now and that seems to um and that seems to bring out the really deep target so yeah guys i'm starting to get a feel for this machine now and i think it's going to be a good detector anyway guys i've babbled on long enough i hope you enjoyed the hunt um yeah my fines are not really as exciting as back in vietnam but uh it's still fun to go out nonetheless
