they're gonna have a few drops you're gonna drive I do think he drops too many balls but at the same time he catches his share also all right let's do fourth down and it was bizarre because it was exactly 13 years to the day of being acquitted and double murder charges in Los Angeles that OJ is now going to jail he of course was found guilty convicted faces up to life in prison this goes back to the kidnapping charges that he faced in Las Vegas do you have any sympathy at all for OJ Simpson yeah I have some sympathy for what happened to the OJ I once knew pretty well back when he was an all-time great player and a pretty accomplished actor and pitchman and commercials do I believe he murdered two people in a jealous rage I absolutely do do I believe this was some sort of karmic justice served here because he's so brazen li and idiotic Li committed armed robbery yeah I do but we forget I thought he was the second best running back in the history of football to Jim Brown and he had such charisma and he was so gifted in front of a camera that it's just staggering to me now to look back at how much he threw away yeah I mean I don't sympathize with uh with this situation obviously growing up in the 70s played running back my entire life from football and when you grew up in the 70s and you played running back you wonder where number 32 OJ Simpson was I tried to explain to somebody didn't see him and doesn't remember his career a younger person he's pretty much like LeBron is right now the status of where he is right now media wise and crossover appeal and commercialism he was that big that being said I think he's just done some tremendously dumb things to go in there have his guys with these guns was just a terrible miscalculation and I really believe that he went in there saying you know there's not any cameras there's no one going to be able to to really prove any of this happen but what he didn't realize was that if he gets caught you know people are going to have the feelings about him which they did 13 years ago I don't care what anybody says the jury that did play in the part of the jury and they're thinking about this case he should be a hermit man he should have been a hermit for the past 13 years he should have played golf played with his kids traveled around the world stay out of people's faces there they have people's cameras at the end of the day you have to learn from everything you do in life the good and the bad when something good happens what did I do to make this happen why this happened how this happen when something bad happens okay that was dumb what I do to stay away from that he's 60 years old man and what he went through at the age of 50 he should never even find himself in the position that he's in right now I do feel bad when I see them put the handcuffs on the juice but at the end of the day I'm like look in the mirror dude you did all this to yourself so I don't feel sympathy for now he's going to be a hermit for the rest of his life this incredible man is sad it hurts it really hurts I won't I want to ask you guys a question he has always been such a racial lightning rod going back 13 years ago do you think that through time his the way african-americans have viewed Oh Jay Simpson has that opinion changed in your opinion I mean I think this basically you know you're stupid I mean you're doing stupid things and unlike you skip the thinks that he murdered two people whatever we can't we there's no it's too long even go back in the day but a jury you know found them innocent of those charges whether he did or not I have no clue bottom line is I think 13 years later black people look at it it's like man dude you can't be this stupid you can't put yourself in this situation and give you know the legal system and and your detractors the ability to take you down again and he did he fell right into the trap is unbelievable that OJ Simpson is 61 years old after what happened 13 years ago is going to jail maybe for the rest of his life that's unbelievable the glove didn't fit I always say that but once you beat that rap whether you did it or not disappear dude what a book saying if I had done it are you kidding me since are you trying to do OJ what are you saying to the people who told you okay we don't know what happened exactly there's some things going on but we're going to tell you to get out of here your back in front of their faces again to give them another reason to judge you no way like I was saying for a terrible miscalculation I think when he went in there he thought if this does come to surface I'm taking my stuff it's my stuff the bottom line is though you can't come in here with guns draw like this is the wild wild west like we're in Dodge City this is 2008 it's crazy not not today alright gentlemen thank you very much we appreciate it we are out of topics but the show is not over
