this morning since yesterday the lord has been dealing with us but being unshakable and being not shaken we're going to just dive into some more scriptures that's going to build us up in this area um and this is something y'all i got to say good morning for mother would love this is something that it's i can't say that i have been an expert in these things i'm just saying what what the lord is leading us to um to dive into and so i am just amazing i am just i would say amazing to lorraine but i am just you know uh learning just as much as we all are learning and as the lord reveals you know this is something that we're all diving into so i want y'all to know that we all in this together we all know what the lord is going to say or continue to say as we go forward but i know sometimes it just hits me strong and i understand it and i get it and i'm like man and so you know i started sharing it with others good morning ash the worshiper so we're going to dive into prayer and then we're going to uh read a scripture that i feel like the lord led us to uh when it came down to this so that we could continue to grow in this thing um and continue to grow in the season of our lives and uh just continue to move forward in the lord so father this morning we bless you lord we honor your name and we thank you father for your sovereign your good your holy your righteous your faithful and your truth we bless you this morning we thank you for opening our eyes we thank you for allowing us to awaken to a new day a new day in which you've already made a day where we shall rejoice in it and be glad we thank you for stirring us up we thank you for calling us into new levels and new realms and new depths in you god we thank you for just securing us we thank you for giving us wisdom we thank you for pouring out your spirit we thank you for being on our side we thank you for ministering to our hearts we thank you for calling us into a greater place we thank you for sharing with us your love we thank you father for sharing with us your joy we thank you father for sharing with us the plans of righteousness your ultimate sovereign plan and we thank you father that we've learned to live from this day and we declare as a people just as you've already announced over us we are not shaken we will not be shaken we will not be stirred we will not be moved oh god we will stand firm lord jesus and i thank you for calling us into a place uh calling us into a place that that that oh well we are completely trusting you where we're completely lean and depend on you where you have called us into a place of victory god and we thank you that that victory comes by unusual supernatural ways but we trust in you lord we declare we trust in you god just as we declare yesterday we declare it this morning our trust is in you god let that not be a facade let there not be to something that we just say as a cliche but let it be our hearts declaration let it be our lives proclamation that we trust in you we lean and depend on you we turn to you and we know that you are the author and the finisher of our faith and so father we bless you we bless you this morning we thank you for the things that you're already doing in our lives we bless you for the ways we get to walk in for the doors we all that you're already opening on our behalf we thank you lord for awakening us to these new realms and new territories in your presence and we appreciate you god we appreciate you god we appreciate you we thank you for being patient with us we thank you father that we don't always get it right but you're merciful we thank you that you're gracious we thank you that even time at the time you keep proving yourself over and over and over again and you don't have to you're we recognize and know that you're king of all kings and lord of all lords but god you keep extending mercy you keep giving grace you keep proving yourself by way of your word you keep showing yourself over and over showing your heart towards us showing your will and your mind in us concerning us oh god and for that we are grateful we are grateful people we are grateful people we are grateful people we're not those that will complain oh god but we're grateful we just want to do your will we just want to fulfill your heart we want to do what you would have us to do we want to walk along the path that you have set for us to walk on we want to be led by your spirit we want to be covered on every and all sides we want to be found safe in your will not in our own wisdom but in your will oh god so we just thank you lord we thank you for strength this morning we thank you for strengthening our hearts this morning we thank you for strengthening our bodies this morning we thank you for strength oh god and even as we enter into this meeting god pour out your heart to us pour out your heart then we may come into the full understanding of who you are and what you're doing in and through our lives this day pour out your heart to us oh god pour out your heart to us this morning that we may align and know walk in your will and that we may follow after you and know what's in your heart what's in your heart for us this day oh god we want to receive you we want to hear from you we want to know what you're saying we want to be led by your spirit we don't want to be led by any other oh god will be led by your spirit be led by the council of heaven be led by your wisdom be led by your truth be led by your grace and your mercy and your we thank you for your kindness oh god you're so merciful hallelujah and we praise you god we praise you this morning we praise you this morning we declare there is no one like you hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah we worship you we worship you we we insult you oh god and we give you glory and praise and honor and we bless you we bless you we bless you we bless you hallelujah help us to recognize god the things that you're bringing us into as we're understanding our placement our identity as we're understanding oh god the things that you're calling us into as we're understanding our our stands in you our stands that comes from being connected in you and to you god we thank you for that and we thank you that one of those things is that we are not shaken we're not shaken by what we have to face we're not shaken by the things we have to walk in or walk through we're not shaken by the different seasons we have to endure but we stand firm in it and so father i thank you that this is not only something that we know our kingdom uh a characteristic of our kingdom we know that this is also a part of our life that just as the kingdom of heaven is not shaken by anything we will not be shaken and we thank you father that we're embracing that we thank you god that there is nothing in this world that can stop us there is nothing in this world that can all throw off your plan there is nothing in this world that can stop what you want to do in and through us god just as the kingdom in which we serve and live from is unshakable we thank you that we are an unshaken unshakable people we thank you that we're not moved we're not shaken we thank you that we're not surprised we're not caught off guard we thank you that we're not we're not caught unprepared we are we are we are steadfast and our footing is sure and for that we are grateful for that we are grateful for that we are grateful for that we are grateful i want to read psalm 62 i believe i'm gonna read verses one through six uh um oh god we bless you uh one through eight i'll probably read one through eight psalm 62 verses 1 through 8 again we're not shaken we're not shaken um this is one of the things i was reading a scripture let me tell you i was reading a scripture and this morning i was praying and asking the lord you know what what you want to talk about today and all in my spirit this morning i kept hearing lead me to a rock that's higher than i and i started praying and wow i'll start praying i was like lord that seemed like that's something you know i need personally i don't want to just talk about something that i need personally what else are you doing and uh he sent me right on over to 62 and what was highlighted to me is that not shake it not shaking not shaking and i was like yeah god you talk to us about not being shaken or or living from an unshakable kingdom on yesterday and so i believe he's just pulling that um into our hearts this morning and we as sons and daughters of the most high god we have to remember that the kingdom in which we serve is not a kingdom that is shaken by anything and it's not shaken uh sometimes shaking means that we're finding ourselves are unsure uncertain and we're moving we're we're moving we're tossed with the wind to and fro but no matter which way the wind blows no matter which way the the the cookies crumble or they fall as they may no matter what it may be we serve an unshakable kingdom and because the only way the kingdom is identified by being unshakable is not only by his military forces and i'm talking about just physically for us to know that oh that man that's a strong kingdom it's not only by its minister uh it's not only by its military forces it's not only by its economical systems but the way that a kingdom is truly identified in its characteristics is generally by the people that represent that kingdom again thank you lord thank you lord a kingdom and the characteristics of a kingdom the final conclusion that the whole world has about the kingdom is not by military forces alone it is not by economic systems alone it is not by or just the king who reigns and reigns alone but it is it is off of the fruit in which the people live by it is off of the representation of the kingdom by way of the individuals who live there and that's one of the things we have to be able to identify we know that we serve an unshakable kingdom because our father is in control and he is not shaken by anything but one of the things that we have to remember is that the kingdom and the characteristics of the kingdom the conclusion of the kingdom is always to some degree especially in the world it is testified by the lifestyle of those that represent the kingdom those that represent this set place i hope this is making sense so it's not enough for us to proclaim that we live or from and where we're we are our our lives and our is settled uh because we live from an unshakable kingdom and we don't demonstrate that in our lives and our actions and our emotions once again i'm not saying something that i've mastered i am just saying something that i'm having to walk through right now and i'm having to uh be able to uh live out right now and god's word is reminding me of these things again a kingdom and i just really want to press this in a little further so that you can understand this theory around and this thought and this idea around not being shaken it is not just based off of its military of forces our kingdom uh it being unshakable is not because of the angelic host that wars on our behalf it's not only because of that let me say that it's not only because of that it is not only because of our god right who reigns supreme majority of it is because of him but but in order for the world and other nations and other cultures of the world to recognize that the kingdom of god is not shaken the kingdom of god is unshakable that testimony comes from us the people that represent that kingdom when we live like we're not shaking when we're not you know thrown into anxiety like the rest of the world then the world as cultures and these nations can begin to declare they they serve an unshakable kingdom they come from a place that's not moved by natural world uh events they come from a place that's not moved by news or media they come from a place that they are sure in the truth of god as it pertains to their life and so not being shaken is something that we have to use our life as a testimony we have to use our life as a pure testament of the fact that we're not shaken because our kingdom is not shaken we we have to use our lifestyle and our hearts as a testimony of the kingdom in which we live from so i just wanted to press that in there about three folks times so that you can under uh we can kind of come to that understanding when we talk about god dealing with us as far as this and not being shaken psalm 62 verses 1 through 8 says this i will wait quietly before god for my victory comes from him he alone is my wrath and my salvation my fortress where i will never be shaken where i will never be shaken verse 3 so many enemies against one man all of them trying to kill me to them i'm just a broken down wall or tottering fits they plan to topple me from my high position they delight this is the new living translation they delight in telling lies about me they praise me to my face but curse me in their hearts um let all that i am wait quietly before god for my hope is in him he alone is my rock and my salvation my fortress where i will not be shaken my victory and honor come from god alone he is my refuge a rock where where no enemy can reach me all my people trust in him at all times pour out your heart to him for god is our refuge god is our refuge i want to read this also in the passion translation hallelujah we thank you jesus we thank you that we are not shaken just as we serve an unshakable kingdom we will be a true testament of the fact that this kingdom is not shaken hallelujah the passion translation psalm 62 verses 1 to 8 he says i i stand silently to listen for the one i love waiting as long as it takes for the lord to rescue me for god alone has become my savior he alone is my safe place his wraparound presence always protects me for he is my champion defender there's no risk of failure with god there is no risk of failure with god there is no risk my god a failure with god so why would i let worry paralyze me when even when troubles multiply around me but look at these who want me dead shouting their vicious threats at me the moment they discover my weakness they all began plotting to take me down liars hypocrites with nothing good to say all of their energies are spent on me on moving me from this exalted place verse 5 it says i am standing in absolute stillness silent before the one i love waiting as long as it takes for him to rescue me only god is my savior and he will not fail me he will not fail me for he alone is my safe place his wraparound present always protects me as my champion defender there's no risk of failure with god so why would i let worry paralyze me even when troubles multiply around me god's glory is all around me his wraparound presence is all i need for the lord is my savior my hero and my life-giving strength join me everyone trust only in god every moment tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart longings to him believe me when i tell you he will help you um and i'm just so grateful this is king david beginning he reads he wrote this psalm he wrote the psalms and one of the things i recognize that he connected that we don't like with the fact that we will not be shaking is the fact that we must wait we must wait we must wait on the lord psalm the scripture psalm 62 verses 1 through 8 and i just read it out of the new living and i read it out of the passion and we we don't we don't like having to wait on the lord to to get to a place and wait on the lord not only to get to a place but wait on the lord with confident assurance confident assurance that he alone will keep us from being shaken or from failing yo i cannot tell y'all i'm going to be extremely impressed there i've been struggling all this week with the idea of just failing you know i don't i don't want to fail i don't want to fail i don't want to fail you know and waiting on don to respond waiting on solutions and answers has been one of those things that have gripped me especially when you can hear god concerning everything else right you can hear god concerning different things you know i can hear god when it pertains to these morning beasts i hear him very clearly uh in that regard you know but when all is said and done there are some things that i'm doing there are some plans that i believe the lord has has sent me to do and i'm just at the point where i want to represent him and represent him well and i don't want to fail in these things you know it almost gripped me to the point where it was like okay lord you know how about we just start over it's just like how about we just start over from the top you know as people who direct inquires and stuff like that back from the top let's start all over again let's let's get this going um and so you know my heart is just to remain in a place of faith remain in a place where i'm not i'm not wrestling with these things and one of the things i've had to endure in this timely season is to wait on god and that is the hardest thing it can be at times the hardest things to do when you feel like y'all ever seen those cartoons where uh where you know it's like uh especially those acne with buzz bunny cartoons where they'll be trapped to a train and the train is almost about to come and you hear you see that anxiety and we as kids our anxiety used to be raised because it's like although we know buzz buddy's gonna get out and although we've seen that same episode 5 000 times we want to know like is he really going to get out this time as if it's going to be something different and so it's that matter of waiting i mean i'm telling you calvin i'm telling you i i just want to please the lord i just want to make him smile i just want to do what he told me to do and i don't want to fail in this um but i gotta admit y'all uh y'all y'all know how early i told the lord no lord that was that one okay i can see that being for me but but what about the people i think he got me again with this passion translation that's why i kind of laughed in the middle of it because i think he slapped me around in it by constantly repeating that there is no risk of failure i think he got me again y'all i think he got me again with there's no risk in failure with the lord and all i know how to do is be me all i know how to do is be it so you know um i call myself running away from these things but we have to know and understand that we we must be a testament of demonstrating demonstrating that we serving a shakeable kingdom and so in the midst of us just trying to be successful in the midst of us just trying to do the things that we want to do you know we have to take on the role that king david did when he said i stand silently to listen to the one for the one i love and he says for he is my champion defender and there's no risk of failure with god there is no risk of failure with god and it's it's something to know that knowing he is our refuge knowing he is our rock knowing that he is our shield and our descender knowing that he is our god and our victory knowing that he is faithful and true knowing all of these things it really requires us to have good great discipline to stand and wait on god yeah it's it's hard one of the things i said yesterday is that i won't fuel faith i won't fuel fear sorry about that i will not fuel fear i don't want to fuel fear i will not feel fear and so one of the things i have we have to recognize and know one of the things we have to stand firm in believing is that part of us not being shaken is for us to realize who he is and to take on this thing that there is no risk of failure with god and even in our waiting we cannot be paralyzed with fear anxiety even in our waiting y'all i'm standing still on some things i i i gotta make a decision but i don't know what decision to make you know and so i'm standing still i'm standing and i'm waiting to see god you know but he always trying to come and get somebody he always trying to come and get somebody and so we have to proclaim and declare we will not be shaken we will not be shaken we will not be shaken we will not be shaken we will not be shaken and having unshakable faith is being able to stand firm and understanding and knowing that he is one of the things i love about david is that in this scripture alone he says he says in verse two like i know who god is i know he is my defender i've seen these things time and time again he has he has blessed my life he has he has brought me through some things time and time again and i know i i i know that in him there is no failure i know that right and so one of the things david asks in verse 2 and he acts again he said so why would i let worry paralyze me even when troubles multiply around me he's saying i know that these things i i know even as i'm waiting i know these things are the case even as you know it's increasing around me i know these things you know but he is his resolve is even though they're plotting up against me i gotta stand i gotta stand and wait i gotta stand and see because i know i know there is no risk of failure with god and at this time of season you can tell that king david is king so he's ruling at this moment and there is wars and rumors of wars and all of these things all around him and he's like i know the lord put me here you ever ever question placement right he's like i know the lord put me here i know the lord set me as king he set me as king even before i was king you know and i want us to just take a moment to see this thing from david's perspective because when he wrote this he didn't write this from a place of uh something that he had already seen before he wrote this from a place of what he was enduring at the time king david he did not ask to be king many of us we didn't ask to be where we were we were kind of placed there we were positioned there right and so in that very place there was enemies lurking all around us just lurking all around us warring all up against us trying to dethrone us from our placement right now in this season of our life there is things that are surrounding us on every and all all their their things are surrounding us just trying to throw us we done we don't press we don't pull we don't uh we don't strive we don't fault to get to this place in 2020 we have been consistent in our devotions we have been consistent in our pursuits in the lord and we fought so hard to get to this place a place we did not ask for david got to this place that he did not ask for but the lord sought him out and the lord anointed him as king while he was in the shepherd field and the lord may have called you into this place of being an entrepreneur and the lord would have talked brought you into this place of being a leader he would have brought you into this position where you're here the lord would have opened the doors for that job and now that job may have been ending or closing or whatever it is or you may have to transition from that place the lord told you to come off for your 9-5 and now you're standing here all throughout kovac trying to figure out how to do i'm telling y'all something that i know the lord has brought you to this place this is not something you asked for the lord brought you to this place right here and you're trying to figure out lord my enemies they're they're brewing they're they're planning some things they're they're doing all of these things but david in the midst of this step i am standing and i will stand in absolute stillness that's waiting silent before the one i love waiting as long as it takes for him to rescue me and it has to become our bottom line in this season to wait on the lord it has to become our bottom line this season to stand it has to become our bottom line this season to stand on what we know about god not necessarily what we feel and not necessarily what we're experiencing but stand on what we know and although the enemy will attempt to kind of throw you off or tell you hey this is just the evidence of failure this is just repeating cycles of failure i break the spirit of the enemy that's coming to paralyze you with worry about these things that you're enduring in this year we declare that we're going to end this year and we're going to end this year strong we declare that we're going to move forward in the things of god and we're going to stand on what we know concerning the lord we're going to know that trusting in god it is not see a lot of us think it's risky trusting in the lord a lot of us feel like it's risky trusting in the lord because you don't know which way the tithe is going to turn but i decree now this day just as david has proclaimed it there is no risk of failure with god there is no risk there is no risk of failure with the lord there is no risk there is no risk of failure or as he says in the new living i will not be shaken there is uh my victory and honor comes from him there is no risk in failure we have to stand on this truth we know it's kind of it feels risky trusting in the lord we know that it feels risky putting all of our eggs in that basket yeah and so we want to have a plan a b c and d but here's the deal we have to stand firm believing he says standing in stillness for the one before the one i love and somebody asked the question let me go to it someone asked the question how do you handle uh when your situation dictates or needs an answer right now but you're waiting on god but it appears he's not answering or speaking i'm standing right in that right now and and just as just as that that fingers is running up just as that train seem like it's getting ready to hit me just as we're following um on all of these things and it seemed like time is winding up we have to remember and know that time is in his hands oh god and so sometimes i've had to pray lord even though this has a deadline i trust you and although the deadline is now and near whatever you would have for me to do i have to stand and wait and and it's hard waiting is hard waiting is hard but he says the scripture tells us that those that wait upon the lord he shall renew their strength they shall mount up on wings like an eagle they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint it's only that's only given to those who wait on the lord and who recognize that he is not ruled by time and he can extend time i've seen the lord extend time on our behalf i've seen the lord move some things and yes it is difficult it is difficult according to our own standards which is why david said i i know alone that he is my god and my savior and he will not fail me he says right here that he put his trust in the lord and the challenge is can you wait long enough not to faint will you be shaken can you wait long enough not to faint can you wait long enough not to faint let me tell you something with all the things that are happening and going on this in the world the kingdom of heaven is not fainting right now the kingdom of heaven is not fainting right now the kingdom of heaven is not sweating about these things right now the kingdom of heaven is sitting ruling waiting on the wisdom of the lord waiting i i know in revelations when you follow the pattern of worship in revelation as they're worshiping they will wait to see what the lord is going to do like what are we waiting on the lord for specifically how do we wait well it depends on what you're waiting on the lord for but how do we wait we wait finding ourselves a standing or sitting or resting in his uh in his will not moving on our own wisdom and and right at the moment where you're anxious is a test of your fainting it's a test of whether you will be shaken it is a test of will you be shaking a lot of us we will find ourselves getting so anxious then we'll be like okay you know what this is what i'm gonna decide to do and and and sometimes we have to get to a point where and i know some of y'all don't like to hear this because y'all want some practical stuff but this is where we demonstrate our faith in god and this is where we demonstrate our trust in the lord where we have to recall those things that he has promised and we cannot with our actions turn around and tell god he's a liar we have to stand stand in what we know and demonstrate and testify that our god i will not be shaken because i represent the kingdom that is not shaken in that moment your life testifies in that moment your life testifies of where you come from in that moment your life is a true testament of whom you belong to in that moment your life is a true testament of whose you belong to hallelujah so we have to demonstrate we have to demonstrate we have to demonstrate to the lord we have to demonstrate to the earth that we serve an unshakeable kingdom yes as they say yep many people yes they say call recall his promises stand on his word right remember those prophetic words and things but don't forget to remember who he is a lot of times we want to stand on the promises and the promises we want the promises of the lord to push us into a place where we can stand and wait on the lord but really our waiting comes from us knowing who he is and not just standing on what he told us he was going to do see a lot of us are waiting oh my god a lot of us are waiting on god to to to do what he promised us to do and we're forgetting to wait on who he is like like stand firm on who he is his character and not the things that he has done for us or we we take the time and we stop and we say lord if you never do another thing for us right and then we turn around and in that moment that we're waiting on him to do another thing we cannot stand because we forgot in that moment that god is not shaken by our timetables god is not moved by other things that we have to do no no no no no he is securing who he is we have to be secure in who he is and so we're not standing just on the promises alone we have to stand on who god is if you're standing on just the promises alone then you're only waiting for god to do things and in that moment he only becomes your genie and you got to be really really careful with that because you start embracing a habit that if god doesn't do anything you won't serve him no but that's not the case our our faith comes from knowing who god is not for waiting on him to move on our behalf and that's one of the things that in this walk we're getting confused with we're believing god and we're waiting on god to fulfill things on our behalf based on the things that he does and and and and and the things that he does but and the things that he will do and his promises and and the reality is if he doesn't do this then what are you going to do you're going to stop believing then from that point you are shaken you demonstrate that you are shaken but we have to mature to the place where we're standing firm not on the things that god does for us but on who he is which is why david cavalli say i'm waiting as long as it takes for the lord to rescue me i'm waiting as long as it takes because i love him not just what he can do for me but i love him and a testament of our fellowship with the lord is if we love him beyond what he would do but if we love him and so we have to stand on that we have to wait on and stand firm in who we know this is why those who wait on the lord who wait on the lord shall renew their strength their strip shall be renewed because he never changes he himself he never changes and in these times of waiting you know the weed and the tear really begins to be measured out because those that only stand on what god can do for you they are the ones that don't demonstrate this shake of the kingdom when god shakes you up and you ain't got no grip and you fall through the cracks these are those moments where it is demonstrated completely that your faith has been in the things that god has done for you and not in who he is and in order for us to demonstrate that we're not shaking in this hour and season we have to begin the trust in who he is i could stay there all day long verse 2 verse 2 and verse 6 says for he alone is my safe place not the things that he does he alone his person he alone is my safe place his presence a passion translation says his wraparound presence always protects me for he is my champion defender there's no risk of failure with god so why why would i let worry paralyze me even when troubles multiply around me i yeah like there is no risk of failure there is no risk of failure there is no risk of failure in the lord i want to read this in the passion translation y'all can highlight that in the message y'all can turn to that recite that in your heart and your spirit as you go um um the the message translation says god the one and only i'll wait as long as he says everything i need comes from him so why not i will read that again this is the message translation psalm 62 verses 1 through 8 we're going to read that again he says god the one and only i'll wait as long as he says then he begins to declare everything i need comes from him so why not and so his question there is if everything i know comes from him so why not wait on him why not wait for him when i know everything i need comes from him so why not wait many of you are asking why wait and and david here said why not wait when you know that everything you need desire and want comes from him so why wait why not wait glory glory to god glory to god if everything i need if god does all things well if everything i want and god does all things well come from him then why not wait instead of asking why lord do i have to wait we should be asking ourselves why not wait why not wait it says this he keeps reading he says he's solid rock under my feet he is solid rock under my feet breathing room for my soul an impregnable castle i'm set for life so why not wait verses three it says this how long will you gang up on me and how long will you run with the bullies there is nothing to you any of you rotten floorboards warm eating rafters and hills plotting to bring down mountains far gone and make believe you talk a good line but every blessing brings a curse then verse 5 he says god he repeats it again god the one and only i'll wait as long as he says everything i hope for comes from him so why not so why not now above it in verse 62 it says everything i need so why not wait and in verse 5 or verse 6 or verse 5 it says everything i hope for that means those things i'm delighting myself those things are waiting on those things that i do uh uh those things that i want we don't want to make excuses for our own human nature we want to take on this faith we want to embrace this faith and so we want to ask ourselves why not look to us why not everybody that is able to defend your carnality you're going to find yourself struggling with faith because faith don't often times make sense faith oftentimes don't make sense and so i refuse again to fuel my fears i don't want to fuel my fears so in verse 62 um i mean chapter 62 verses 1 it says everything i need comes from him so why not and in verse 5 everything i hope for so why not everything i hope for comes from him so why not so it's not just about what you need it's not just about what you need it's all it's also about to those things that you desire the scripture tells us that those who delight themselves in the lord he will give them the desires of your heart so it's not just also about the things that you need yeah sometimes faith don't make sense i'm sure of that oh my god but everything i need and everything i hope for everything i need and everything i hope for causes me positions me in a place that it says i know it comes from him and him alone so why not wait on the lord why not wait on the lord again he's solid rock under my feet breathing room for my soul an impregnable castle i'm set for life verse seven and eight and the message says my hope and glory are in god granted strength and safe harbor god so trust him absolutely people lay your lives on the line for him god is a safe place to be god is a safe place to be god is a safe place to be glory to the lord glory to the lord i just want us to be able to be able to embrace these scriptures this morning and as we hear the word of the lord i let our faith be increased as we hear the word of the lord let our faith be increased um psalm 62 verses 1 through 8 in the amplified version says for god alone my soul waits in silence from him comes my salvation he alone is my wrath and my salvation my defense and my strong tower i will not be shaken or disheartened how long will you attack a man so that you may murder him all of you like a leaning wall like a tottering fence they consult only to throw him down from his high position to dishonor him they delight in lies and they bless with the words of their mouths but inwardly they curse um and then it's a sailor then verse 5 he says for god alone my soul waits in silence and quietly submits to him for my hope is from him my hope is from him he alone is my rock and my salvation my fortress and my defense i will not be shaken or discouraged the first one said i will not be disheartened this verse 6 says i will not be discouraged hallelujah on god my salvation and my glory rest he is my rock of unyielding strength my refuge is in god verse 8 trust confidently in him at all times o people pour out your heart before him for god is a refuge for us and one of the things that we have to be able to know and understand and master in this time and season is waiting on the lord not for him to do something on our behalf but waiting on the lord as it pertains to us uh receiving what what um who he is who he is and not waiting on what he does to prove who he is like we gotta get to a point in our fellowship with the lord that we're learning him and not allowing what he has done to be the only proof of who he is we cannot we cannot afford in this hour and season to wait on only the things that he has done to prove who he is no we have to know him first and from us knowing him will allow us to be able to grow in fruit and and we will be able to know that because i know him then this this shall happen or this will come to pass or this will come at his timing so we have to come to the place where we begin to know god we begin to know god and in our waiting on the lord we stand firm and we don't withhold our faith if he doesn't do anything on our behalf but we demonstrate our faith demonstrate our faith as he calls us into a position to be able to demonstrate this is whom i love this is whom i adore this is whom i fellowship with this is god this is who is god and and that that is the thing that's going to secure your waiting how to secure your waiting how not to be shaken in your waiting have faith and trust and confidence in god not in the things that he could do but in him and this is why david kuwait and this is why he could say there's no risk of failure in god no risk of failure with god no risk of failure with him not in the things that he can do but in him and with him there's no risk of failure no risk of failure no risk of failure so it is our duty in this hour and season to demonstrate as kingdom citizens demonstrate to the world what it is like to live from an unshakable kingdom and part of that is dealing with our waiting how are you waiting how are you waiting how are you waiting and let's get to the place where we can grow in him and not just in the things that he can do or the things then maybe he decides i'm not gonna do that at this time but we won't be shaking because we know who he is and here's the deal you can pray all day long let me use this as an example and then we're going to pray you can you can pray all day long for something to work out on your behalf and be what you know you want it to be you can pray all day long for that but when god tells you no or not yet or when god does not answer you can find yourself secure i found myself growing in god when i realized that if he says no or if he says wait or if he says not yet then he knows what's best and that has secured my waiting that has secured me in my waiting me knowing him and knowing that his will is what's best is that whenever he gives set counsel whenever he says yes or whenever he says no that he's not leading me astray whenever he says not yet he's not leading me down a path that is uh dark he's not leading me as straight in that moment he's leading me along the path that is what's best and even if i have to endure some hardships along that pathway he still knows what's best and because of that i trust him because of that i trust him and that helped me to grow in my faith because he knows what's best even if i feel like i'm gonna endure some embarrassment or i'm gonna have to face some things or i'm gonna have to have some hard conversations or i'm gonna have to say some things i don't really wanna say or all i'm gonna have to do some things i don't really want to do i have to know that he knows what's best and so he's not advising me on something that could potentially lead me astray no he's advising me on the best thing and if he is not saying anything then i'm going to wait i'm going to stand and wait on who i know he is i know that god won't lead me astray so me waiting right now is not me waiting and even if it seems like it's on a deadline that's still the best option for me jesus that's still the best option for me and so we we go around life trying to trying to decide lord you know we we make our decisions based off of uh we make our decisions based off of what is what's best for us right we make our decisions on what's best for us michael went on when you when you are waiting on an answer and all you get is silence you wait on who you know he is you wait on that you wait on that that's all you can do is wait on that wait on that because the reality of the matter is that he knows what's best he's not gonna position us in a place that leaves us just out there is no risk of failure with god remember that there was no risk of failure with god so if he knows what's best ensure that your ear and your heart is open but if he knows what's best then him him calling you calling you to a place and waiting calling you to a place of doing this is in that moment what's best and you are still going to be safe and you will not fail you will not fail and that's a hard pill to swallow i'm telling you it's it's something that we're gonna keep pressing and endure again but we gotta remember if we don't remember anything else let's remember psalm 62 1-8 we're not waiting on what god can do for us we're waiting on who we know he is and because we're waiting on him because we're waiting on him we understand that when he has us in a still place when he has us in a moment where where we're you know going and moving we have to wait i'm telling you i i know i know it's a hard pill to swallow it really is but this is something that we have to stand on this is something that we have to look to this is something that we have to build our faith in because again we have to represent that we're not we serve an unshakable kingdom and because of that we are not shaken we are not shaken so i i all of us we're gonna be digesting this today we're gonna be eating this manna today because as we're pursuing and we're ending 2020 stepping into 2021. one of the things i know about it is that we have to trust him don't begin i know it's hard i know i know but let's demonstrate that we serve an unshakable kingdom and that means even in this even in this hard moment we are not shaken and we are not moved we're not trusting god because of what he can do but we're trusting god because of who he is and that secures us in our waiting that secures us in our waiting i know y'all i know i know father help your people help your sons and daughters because we struggling with this truth god help us help us lord we cry out for help to this morning we cry out for help this morning because god we want to do what's right we want to please you we want to honor you we want to represent you well we want to uh be full of fire and own faith but god you know times and seasons have been hard so lord help us help us help us help us help us to remember who you are help us to build our trust in who you are help us to build our trust forgive us for the years that we've built our trust in what you can do for us father today help us to build our trust in who you are help us to grow and fellowship with who you are god in the name of jesus and father break down this barrier between you and i bridge this gap whatever the gap is bridget god bridge that gap whatever father you know a lot of a lot of us we find it so easily to hear god to hear for others but god today we say is us o lord standing in the need not only of prayer but of your counsel standing in need of just your word standing in need of just knowing that you're watching over us and you're keeping us and that you're surrounding us father help us with this truth help us with this truth help us to embrace this truth help us because without your help we will fail without your help resting on our own strength we won't make it but we know that in you there is no failure so god we decide today to put our hands in your hands to put our lives in your hands and to trust you god to trust you god to trust you as we go to and fro we we want to be led by your spirit and we thank you that you won't lead us to demise you won't lead us along a stray path oh god but you will lead us and guide us into all truth and you are for us living you are for us living and living abundantly in you and so help us to remember who you are and the plans that you've already set up for us help us to remember that and we thank you oh give help us throughout today help us for the rest of our days help us in our pressing to the end of the year help us oh god help us to remember who you are and to find refuge in who you are and help us to remember that us putting our trust in you there is no risk in that there is no risk of failure in that there is none god there is no failure no risk of failure help us to remember that and so father we praise you god whatever stands in the way of us receiving what you have for us i do feel deliberate i don't know who's who's enduring some but i i do feel that father whatever you're whatever is standing in the way of us actually getting what we need in this hour and season god we ask that you would remove that hindrance or you will reveal what is the hindrance and that you would bring us into right standing with you father we appreciate you we love you and we will we will take your word to heart help us god with this thing help us all leave not one daughter not one son out help us all in the name of jesus in the name of jesus we give you glory we give you praise and we give you honor for it in jesus name i want you to be encouraged this morning i don't want you to fret let me tell you in your own strength it seems impossible if you keep looking at your own strength yes it's going to be impossible and don't walk in shame we all doing this i told y'all he got me so in your own strength it's going to be difficult but in him he will he he will remind us of our waiting will remind us of all of these things and we can stand firm in that just know i'm praying for y'all today i'm praying for all of us today that we will stand firm waiting on the lord and remembering his word remembering psalm 62 so that we can demonstrate that we are not shaken yup remain in here please don't jump outside please don't take him on your own please don't get so anxious that you decide imma do this my way because the lord take it too long don't do that he knows what's best he knows what's best absolutely absolutely so let's keep let's keep remaining prayer remain in constant communication with the lord and don't forget towards the end of psalm 6 though psalm 62 and 8 david admonishes us to pour out our hearts to the lord he says trusted the lord and then he said pour out your heart to him psalm 62 and 8 don't forget that part he's commissioning everyone to wait on the lord and he says pour out your heart to him for he is your refuge and so when you find yourself struggling pour out your heart to the lord when you find yourself having to battle with these things pour out your heart to the lord when you find yourself struggling pour out your heart to the lord pour it out pour it out don't hold it don't hold it in your heart thinking you're gonna dishonor him but pour it out to him pour it out to him pour it out as soon as it pops up and fear creeps in god i'm afraid help me lord help me help me in my fear so yeah it is my pleasure y'all it is my pleasure is it a secret what's best for me no it's not as i know it's not a secret but only god knows what's best and so we trust in the lord so we'll pour out your heart to the lord pour out pour out your heart but remember that you waiting on the lord you waiting on the lord you waiting on the lord comes from not what he can do but from who he is thank you jesus god we seal your word we seal your word we let your word be hidden in our hearts that we might not sin against thee let this word be hidden in our hearts that we will no longer dishonor you or or grieve your spirit or grieve your spirit help us not to grieve you lord in our decision making help us not to grieve you lord hey candace help us not to grieve you lord in the things that you that that you're leading us into you're calling us into a higher place to mature in this and help us help us not to grieve you but in the moments where we're struggling we know that you are a very present help in the time of trouble you are our hope and so you are a health so father we thank you for your word we thank you for your truth let this word be hidden in our hearts let it be branded in our hearts that we might not sin against or grieve you in any way we praise you we honor you and we thank you for it be glorified father in jesus day in jesus name we praise you for father we praise you hallelujah also i pray that you were blessed in the lord that you were stirred in your your heart to just at least pour out your heart to him make a decision today to just just seek the lord and then sometimes the lord will have you to look back and see it is i that have been carrying you this whole entire time and i will continue to do so says the lord because i love you it has been i says the lord that have been carrying you all this time look back on your life you have not fallen and you have not failed life has not been over for i have covered you i've carried you and i will continue to keep you says the lord i will continue to keep you remember that my plans and my thoughts for you are of good and not of evil to give you an expected end so even in your waiting even in your waiting even in your waiting expect even in your waiting expect me expect me says the lord expect me thank you jesus thank you lord thank you lord even in your waiting the lord says look back and don't forget don't forget that you you wrestled with seasons before and i brought you out of that i am still the god that delivers i am still the god that delivers he says i am still the god that delivers and i have not lost my power i have not lost in my potency i have not lost in who i am i'm still in control i have not lost it says the lord i just keep hearing the lord say look back look back look back look back i've brought you through seasons before and i have not changed concerning my plans and my promises for you someday in the midst of hardships i've brought you out says the lord in the midst of circumstance i've pulled you out of our places before i've done this before standing who you know i am standing who you know i am standing who you know i am some of y'all need to begin to respond to the lord in this moment respond to him in your time right here respond to him wherever you may be respond to him i am still god i am still god jesus we know who you are god and we will stand firm in glory glory glory glory we will stand firm in who you are we will stand firm in who you are we will stand firm in who you are jesus come on if you begin to respond to god i even to the last second even to the last minute to the last moment we will stand firm will stand firm in who you are god and we will we will demonstrate that we serve an unshakable kingdom that we live and we come from an unshakable kingdom our foundation is from an unshakable kingdom jesus and so we push our own wisdom our own conclusions our own thoughts and feelings we push them all to the side we push it all to the side we push it all to the side and we stand firm in who you are and we bless you jesus for it so even when the oppressor comes to oppress us we will stand firm we will not be shaken for we know we are safe in you our glory to your name and we give you glory for it god in the name of jesus we give you glory for it father in the name of your son jesus and we praise you we praise you for it glory to your name father let our ears be open that we may hear your voice all day today speak to us lord speak to us lord all day today speak to us oh god all day today and and lead us and and cause us to stand by your word your word give us life and so father speak to us that we may live today we are we live by your word oh god you said in your word that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of god so father today fuel our life with your words today speak and fuel our lives with your words today so that we may live and live abundantly according to your word thank you lord thank you lord help us not to ignore you or not to reject your word but to stand firm in what you're saying in this hour we we plead the blood of jesus over our ear gates over the gates of our hearts that we may be able to hear and to receive what you're saying unto us for such a time as this if you don't speak god we will find ourselves perishing but speak to us o lord that we may not perish jesus but have everlasting life bless you god and we thank you for it we thank you for it we thank you for it we thank you for it we glorify you we glorify you be glorified and we give you praise father in jesus name in jesus name it is so and it is done and we give god glory for it in the name of jesus we give him glory for it in the name of jesus we honor and praise you o god for it in jesus name amen amen amen it's sealed it's done i hear our ears and our hearts will be open to receive from the lord today thank you father thank you father thank you jesus all right y'all i will let y'all go but let this simmer let this be branded in your spirit let it make imprints in your heart and in
