NOOB vs PRO: SECRET VOLCANO HOUSE BUILD CHALLENGE in Minecraft

let's get started today we're building volcano houses volcano houses that sounds like fun all right how about you and I have a little friendly competition to see who can build the best Volcano House oh that's a great idea I'm gonna get started right away oh well then I'll put some distance between you and me I think I'll build my volcano house over here okay I'm gonna make mine amazing you won't believe your eyes JJ all right I better get to work [Music] time to build my Volcano House let's see with the help of a simple Command right around here and I'll make my own volcano like this into the volcano whoa wow look at it go this is amazing okay now it's time to turn this pit into a real volcano for starters I'll take this entire area and make it rise higher and higher out of the ground Earth is lifting up whoa it just keeps growing this is shaping up to be a massive volcano isn't it before warps on rising at this rate the mountain will keep growing forever and ever bigger and bigger and bigger I wonder how big it's gonna get oh awesome cool it's finished a humongous volcano's been born it's incredibly big alright I'm at the Volcano Summit now next I'll make the volcano erupt with molten lava hmm let's see how should I do it I have so many options to choose from let's use this kind of TNT all I have to do is set it up first things first I should line it all up around the mouth of the volcano I'll be sure to use as much lava TNT as I can [Music] all of this will help the volcano erupt I can't wait to see it [Music] I'm placing lots of TNT just like that I've covered the mouth of the volcano that sure took a lot of TNT blocks okay next up I'll create a device to activate all this lava TNT I'll use even more TNT first I'll place a lever here then I'll make a platform here now it's time to line it with TNT [Music] I'm setting it up so the regular TNT explodes and causes the lava TNT to activate [Music] now to lay down a redstone circuit right here thank you it's a bit long so I'll include repeaters along the way [Music] or a TNT see how I'm surrounding it with lots of TNT The Chain Reaction will cause the TNT to explode setting off the lava TNT below just a few more over here okay now I finished placing the TNT the device is complete alright then let's make this volcano erupt here it comes three two one go foreign wow that was amazing that's a lot of lava pouring out wow there's so much lava coming out of this giant volcano that it's basically covering the entire Mountainside that's incredible okay it's finished the volcano is complete next I'll turn this thing into a proper volcano house I'll place the entrance here in the lava let's hop in I'll throw some blocks down around here is this a big enough area there that should do it I've created the entrance next I want to make a way to enter this first room to do that I'll create an entrance in the ceiling I'll grab a couple of signs now I'll place a couple of these signs along the sides like this [Music] we'll enter by passing through the lava up there so we'll place the water directly beneath it foreign [Music] now for the blocks [Music] next I'll Place water right here by doing that we can enter through the lava above and instantly put out the fire see that's how we'll put the fire out [Music] now I'll Place slime blocks all the way down here that way we can land safely I'll cover the entire floor with slime blocks to make sure that we can land safely when we enter now it's safe to fall from all the way up there awesome now that it's finished I want to try jumping in for real jump right into the lava and that's how we get inside there's water directly beneath the lava so we can immediately put out the Flames plus there are slime blocks on the bottom of the entrance room so you don't hurt yourself when you land all right I think it's time to get started on the next section first I'll punch a hole in the wall [Music] next I'll create a space around here I hope this is a good size okay and done I'm gonna turn this into a room so let's make it nice and comfortable let's start with the TV I'll place it over here next up I'd like a sofa I'll use this one now let's see here there's a refrigerator so let's make a kitchen I need to put some food inside the fridge how about apples that's good I'll fill it with apples since this is gonna be a kitchen I'll have to add some kitchen counters too the other thing this kitchen needs is an oven I'll place it here right next to the sink what else do I need how about a bed the bed can go here why don't I place a computer right beside the bed I'll need a computer and a chair goes there [Music] and the chair goes here this room needs a door whoa now that's a comfy Volcano House next up wall is pretty empty so let's use paintings to make a secret entrance [Music] I'll clear some space out right here [Music] I'll use signs [Music] just like that now to hang a painting like that there's a secret entrance behind this painting that leads to another room so let's make a secret vault I'll free up some more space in here there the secret entrance will lead right here both rooms are connected time to hide some treasure inside my secret safe let's see here it's a vault so I'll play some chests maybe over here this looks good I'll place a large chest and if I place a staircase block then you can access the chest through the Gap what should I put inside let's fill it with treasure but what I'll start off with some enchanted diamond armor blast protection sounds good that's what I'm talking about [Music] now to fill up this chest with a bunch of treasure I'm stashing the armor I just Enchanted and next up I prepared some diamonds lots of diamonds golden apples too I'll even throw in some gold ingots and emeralds wow that's a lot of treasure this treasure chest is good to go but let's hide a dummy chest in this room as well and not just any dummy chest a people-eating treasure chest [Applause] as you can see I've placed a fake treasure chest in here if you try to get close enough to open the chest it'll eat you wow I wonder if Mikey will be able to recognize the fake treasure chest and open the real treasure chest instead finally I want to build an escape route for my volcano house right behind this fake Treasure Chest I'll install some Bedrock doors they're camouflaged this is where I'd like to build my Escape Route I'll dig through here to make a path that leads all the way out I'm making a long long hallway this is the kind of Escape Route I'm making it's a secret hallway now that I've dug this far back I'd like to make a passage that leads upwards next that's why even though I like building stuff normally I'm gonna do this all at once I'll clear a space about this big there we go that's how you make a path that leads upward let's open the ceiling if I break this section open it'll lead back to the surface we'll be able to escape from the Volcano House through this secret hallway so now at the end of the hallway I'll place an escape button here this button is capable of launching you straight to the surface let's give it a push three two one click that's pretty high [Music] that was awesome I use TNT to launch myself High into the sky next time I launch myself I should wear my blast protection equipment just to be safe it also seems like a good idea to eat a golden apple just before escaping okay my volcano house is complete I wonder if Mikey's finished yet let's go see how he's doing Mikey are you done yet hey JJ check out my Volcano House Seats isn't it great whoa I even hit some treasure inside my volcano house why don't we see if you can get your hands on it okay so this is your Volcano House like it I'll give it a shot hmm Hey where's the entrance you'll have to find it yourself do you think you can figure it out hmm where could it be it's pretty tough huh where is it you can't find it JJ ouch the entrance must be somewhere not this way good work Mikey it's pretty difficult it might be impossible to find what looks like an entrance this is tough Mikey but I think I'll oh well that's suspicious hmm huh is this your secret entrance Mikey what you found it impressive really you fooled me yay I'm gonna head inside sure go ahead three two one open here we go huh I'm trapped in a cage huh how am I supposed to escape from here I trapped you once and for all I succeeded in capturing JJ with my Volcano House hooray hang on I'll find a way out of here Hmm this cage ah wait is that a toilet maybe what's wrong with it nothing really researching more in other places there's nothing there it's just a toilet let's see hmm I wonder if I can fit in there oh a secret passage I found it huh up through here no way see I escaped wow amazing JJ you found the secret passage ah you escaped there should be treasure around here somewhere where take a look around I mean I hid it in a place where you'll never find it so it'll be tough oh what are these two buttons over here huh you found them thank you pretty says I'll explain JJ you have to make a choice one button is correct and the other is wrong luck will decide whether or not you find the treasure I see two choices well which one should I choose I think I'll try the one on the left really are you sure I'm gonna push it three two one go zombie wow [Music] you fooled me Mikey yeah nice thinking too bad the security can be beaten with a few punches DJ there oh you did it I'm proud of you all right then if this side was the wrong one then the right button is correct you figured it out I wonder what it does oh well three two one oh is that that's the treasure isn't it Mikey yep you found it open it up JJ go ahead all right open whoa so many diamonds whoa good job JJ as your reward you get to keep all the diamonds whoa I made my way through Mikey's volcano house to get the treasure that's right congratulations JJ where's the exit over there there's something over there oh wait this must be it I just have to push this button go ahead hey I cleared the Volcano House yeah I made it too wow good job well I managed to make my way through Mikey's volcano house to get the treasure yeah [Applause] [Music] next up it's Mikey's turn to tackle my Volcano House one question JJ why is your Volcano House well good luck searching for the entrance just try to get inside Mikey all right I'll do my best to find your treasure still I can't believe how big you made this thing JJ cool right yeah I'll start by looking for the entrance good luck finding it where could it be I bet I'll find it easily though I'm really good at this kind of thing I'll find it right away foreign [Music] but I can't find the entrance at all can you please give me a hint a hint yeah your hint is to jump into the lava I don't wanna get me trust you all right I'll give it a try oh Jeepers oh in that case I'll gather my courage and dive into the lava you got it here goes nothing okay it's now or never three two one go you okay the entrance I'm coming whoa oh Mikey slime oh wow you're in yeah yeah the volcano I can't believe you made all this JJ incredible all right oh there's a door yeah huh what's it for is this part of the entrance too all right TJ I'm going in go ahead okay whoa there's a real deep inside the volcano this comfy room was here all along yep oh hold up there's even a computer and a TV a sofa too wait you even have a refrigerator well that's amazing I wonder what's inside take a look huh JJ this is incredible incredible what is it lots of apples apples this is awesome now what go look for the treasure Mikey all right this is no time to be eating apples I need to find the treasure where could it be I wonder where it's hiding oh I know it's probably in one of these drawers hmm JJ I already figured it out it's empty too bad huh keep going look around oh I know maybe here in the oven three two one open it's not here JJ oh it's nowhere hmm it's not easy to find give me a hint JJ a hint a hint please you need to look at the big picture what the big picture here this picture it looks like a normal painting to me JJ it is an ordinary painting but try touching it touching it go ahead will something happen all right three two one no way nice Mikey I went right through it it's a secret entrance that's right oh wow oh look I found the treasure JJ yeah you found it I wonder what's inside I bet it's stuffed with all kinds of treasure all right [Music] that's a fake people-eating Treasure Chest are you kidding me nope don't get too close [Music] good luck [Music] finally I beat it but that was a powerful security system I know so scary you almost got eaten that was a lot now where could the real treasure be Mikey yeah that's a great question [Music] but is there even a treasure chest in a place like this take a look around hmm [Music] there is a treasure chest in here you found it it's in this little hole oh I see it open it I hope it's okay all right I'm opening it three two one whoa it's full of diamond armor and diamonds too and golden apples and gold Indians even emeralds wow that's a lot of treasure yeah and you can take all of it with you really oh this is incredible Selvin diamonds all for me I can't believe it this is some seriously awesome treasure now let's put on our armor sure putting it on you got the treasure Mikey whoa yeah you're right I did it nice oh thank you JJ why don't you take the treasure with you outside sure what's the truth is Mikey right beside the fake treasure chest was this secret Escape tunnel no way awesome well let's move on right through here wow what a long hallway it is pretty long come on all right onward well after finding all that treasure all I have to do now is get back to the surface a lot of treasure yep oh is this it Mikey you should eat one of your golden apples then we can go Golden Apple mm-hmm these things are delicious great now Mikey come further into the room once you push that button you'll be able to escape then you'll be back outside just push this button yep go ahead that's too easy okay here I go ready three two one if you enjoyed today's
