No Minions, No Problem | Spell Mage

no minion Mage has been a powerful deck in the past and now with whizbangs Workshop it's finally back and the star of the deck is going to be yog in the Box it's an eight Mana Shadow spell that casts five random spells and if our deck has no minions those spells are guaranteed to cost at least five Mana so this card is super random but it's eight Mana to cast a minimum of 25 Mana worth of stuff and at that price point it's pretty hard to get unlucky enough for this card to be bad we also have manufacturing error a six minute spell that draws three cards and if our deck has no minions those cards cost three less you might remember a little card called skull of Gan which this card Compares very favorably to and finally we have Spot the Difference for four Mana it lets us discover and summon two three cost minions after a long game of casting powerful spells like these we finish with the 10 Mana legendary spell the galactic projection orb which recasts spell of each cost that we've played this game and they target enemies if possible this was actually my most successful deck of the theory crafting preview stream I went 4 and0 with it which obviously small sample size but it's got to count for something right what will we uh this person just conceded on turn zero against me and then switch classes so I think I'm getting counter queued or maybe they just queued the wrong deck uh Cosmic keyboard is good I want to play Elemental companion after it probably seems like a decent little curve actually I probably should I maybe I should have kept infinitize feel like that could be a pretty good card in the stock um I could coin oh there's splendiferous seven copies of Astral automaton okay but there are 23 other cards so what those I think I'm going to hold my coin for maybe an inspiration or a [Music] box okay uh sure I can play this why not fire nature arcane I'll take the nature spell since I do have the elemental inspiration in hand already and I guess I can make one On's Tempo this freaking hif has been insane only one card out of pip and it's a robot could play star power here it doesn't really like it's not really necessary but it does make a 44 out of the weapon what should I do let's make a 4 four I'm aggro Mage also that was an Arcane spell for Elemental inspiration so that's pretty good this is a shadow not sure how likely this is to hit something good for inspo I don't know is explosive runes still in the game that could be good okay kind of wish I had a star power another inspo summoning Ward it give me another hi it probably give me this but it could give me another hi which is pretty sick but I think I probably just want the frost spell with double inspo in hand do I want to trade off before two it's probably pretty good too otherwise it's like three one 11 one hero power maybe that's fine having free Mana is pretty good in the deck or having discounts on spells is pretty good in the stack because it's all spells okay oh I will play that instead cuz then I can coin this next turn and then these are better and this card might be sick anyway okay why does one of the whizbang decks just not play new card isn't that kind of lame developers dude there's no way this robot has a propeller on its head and you can't spin Italy uh wait their board is good well I think I probably want to play this uh maybe it's safe to play the cheaper one and then I'll have star power to clean up if I need it blizzard is excellent holy this was insane oh I don't know about that one the Mills weren't too bad okay what does this card do summon 711 AR with rush if they die this turn summon seven more okay well they're not all going to die this turn I did want to open up a board slot for this crafter Aura though uh not a great six but whatever and Roden is for things I've played I don't think I've I don't think this Roden is summoning anything at the moment beginning as expected wisdom nothing in my hand makes the wisdom cost zero I think I'm am just yogging again maybe I trade off my one ones in case I fill the board GE what should I do I'll keep one around that I can maybe trade off for crafter Zora a l a sunset volley not a sunset Broly oh oh baby okay I think you're probably dead but you are priest so they could have the uh the new psychic scream card repackaging or whatever light bomb I don't think that does much it killed one of my minions got him and I healed the 30 okay uh yog in the box is pretty freaking good I would say oh I queed too fast and got a rematch hate to see the rematch but I do love to see keyboard and maybe infinitize is okay nah let's try to find Elemental companion to go after the keyboard or Spot the Difference as well would be good one soles any problem I guess I'll play a discovery on turn one wow um I do have this to draw cards kind of far away I'll just go AI on turn three after Cosmic keyboard I think that's fine Firefly I wonder if this is the same deck they were playing last game it is the same opponent playing [Music] Paladin Tempo uh I do think luac was probably the best one here well no there's a 44 right the 44 is probably a little better but I don't think there's much difference between a 24 and a 44 here [Music] okay quickly lots of stuff in play Oh star power I could definitely see myself coining star power here but my opponent's turn did suck so I don't know if I need to be worried about Crusader Ora necessarily whatever let's kill their board and make a 55 what should I do there was a 40% chance that didn't clear but we hit the 60 that card is powerful sucks to use my final weapon charge when I've got a big six Mana card coming next turn but I think it's fine do I have a big six Mana card coming next turn I'm going to have nine in hand so I guess not only one pumped into my Inspirations and what was it it was Arcane intellect so I do have this Shadow wow most of my stuff in hand does not have a spell school theong to the my opponent did that combo last game and I drew into or I randomly generated their Reverb which was really sick oh another star power I think I'm down to rip another star power here but let's see what discovery of magic can hit I think prioritizing these since I have three of them is pretty good here so I don't really want a shadow spell probably just like a nature which is otherwise nearly impossible for me to get this is actually pretty good here could just cast it all right might get a good little treasure off of it while I'm at it okay um so if this goes here it's going to have four Health doesn't seem like pyro will help with that probably just take a loot hoarder or I guess hipster can be good for these yeah yeah we'll go hipster all right I think this is good so these are up to two and I have I can easily get them up to four I will not for uh wow my star power is really bad into that card huh [Music] show me Reverb um wow I guess I take Sunset volley the other I don't know maybe I want an ice barrier in play here I am kind of getting murdered I have so much value in hand without the sunset volley shoots five times so it does 11 damage right my turn's almost over keep it real all right it's fine [Music] whatever open your minds to the light jeez uh man I'm kind of getting bopped here I'm glad I took the ice barrier this might be a yog box turn keep it real okay repackage is good and okay and this is even a pretty good Elemental all right this is a great yog box now these are up to three next turn can be resistance Aura plus one maybe for Elemental Inspirations is pretty good or for uh vortexes is pretty good oh that's a insane six drop probably should have sent a two in in case I got a rush no rush I should have sent the two in cuz I want to do this all right well that's kind of dumb but whatever while a minion has stealth it cannot taunt good to know I win this oh there's no way you drew an eight get get absolutely [Music] on all right this turn was great for me wait why did all of my vortexes get taunt that's crazy I think if I had traded properly here I could have also killed the two too which I might regret but my four FS do pretty well into that oh I guess they don't do well into that because of Crusader aura my bad my one with stealth does well into that cuz they can't attack it that could have value traded right I guess they didn't want a value trade they wanted the card soles any problem for Duty 27 taunt well this can deal four damage to it I think cross stitch is quite good here maybe it's just cross stitch plus Spot the Difference I've or I can just play another Elemental inspiration maybe throw down an ice barrier that's probably extremely reasonable have I played a frost spell yet I had not rushers would be appreciated I got one rusher okay two taunt and a ice barrier with me being a 19 and I still have the resistance Aura up so I don't really think I need to worry about being dead here you have a fraction of my power oh it made my guy a four1 thanks to the aura they could have done that in a slightly different order to avoid that not on my unless it's a trap and they wanted my minion to be a 41 I assume that gives you the minions in the order they hit the board but if not they're could possibly be a bunch of one- one rushers in there which my opponent probably doesn't love there's one one-1 rusher although I guess that's good with Crusader AA feel like they could have better abused the uh life steel buff thing uh all right well this is a freebie blizzard is good is it the play though could play another Elemental inspiration still have the ice barrier this um let 55 is kind of annoying maybe it gets cross stitched but the one one is also annoying maybe it's just blizzard plus Spot the Difference isn't this just so good though I just I don't believe that the Rope is already burning I think I'm being lied too all right whatever what was this the guy that yeah increases the oras okay this turn was kind of pathetic but that's a really strong card I don't really feel like my position is better here than it was last turn although this card is actually really really good maybe I do some cross stitching here I don't know I think this might be a yog box turn how do we feel about yog boxing I'm don't let me down yog well Sunset volley is incredible it's not the best spread but this thing is insane God bless yogs are on dude and then this guy summons something at the end of the turn oh don't go face kill one of the minions no should be fine I still have ice barrier on my oh the Crusader Ora is finally gone right but perhaps another Crusader Aura light fight do I have lethal they're at 24 I have 22 can you go face four to a character so I just need to be able to deal one damage to this righteous protector right and that'll do it and I want my water Elemental nice no hands gamer I guess I'm supposed to keep Spot the Difference that's my op card okay a new spell school for my wisdoms uh this is oh no I can't see what the card I just blade does I think it makes it cost two less so can't play the explosive runes here but I can play it soon probably just scripture runes next turn unless the scripture gives me something real good pendant of Earth uh I do love a keyboard I probably go runes and then keyboard and then I can Spot the Difference next turn play scripture when it's more likely to get extra value sing along buddy is this a Raza otk thing maybe or maybe not necessarily an otk but a Raza thing so the things I'm getting are just summoned here so we just want the big thing oh I did have a weapon for Hench Clan Thug dude I'm ogrean ogre there's RZA so I have the L cross stitch which for some reason only does four damage I would like for it to kill RZA here doesn't it suck a lot to trade a 4 four into this and then shoot four damage into it like wouldn't I be sad doing that H it's kind of sick killed their thing and my board got bigger no complaints and I put a frost spell into my wisdoms and I believe the void scripture still gives me a discount manufacturing error that makes a 66 and another keyboard we love to see it I don't think there's much point in playing these zero cost spells here okay and heal eight oh we're popping off oh for the hero power that's so sad oh I guess they get to play that as well okay is my opponent dead so I just rip a blizzard this goes here this might not even go face I think I'm farther away from lethal than it looks crash of Thunder could give something rush off of cosmic keyboard that could be nice uh void Shard and Chaos creation both go face oh wait this card is so disgusting here what the heck my turn's almost over okay darn if my ogre was smarter I would have had lethal I didn't inten this is scary or is it oh they did get to refresh the hero power cuz they hit this card maybe this was scary no yes I'm on a roll tier one I've won two games in a row I think maybe three
