Niall Horan's totally fake interview

[Music] niall horan obviously was part of one of the biggest boy bands of all time he would have done millions of interviews but nothing quite like this I'm quite nervous there's some things that I haven't spoken about my life you know ever so to do it on national television for the first time is going to be tough people think they know everything there is to know about Niall Horan but if you do you should think again because you don't Greg's been known to be quite the interviewer so I feel like I'm going into the Lions Den ready so yeah wish me luck and we go I'm Greg James and this is unreal lives [Music] now hurry gray gents welcome to unreal lives thank you very much for having me let's go right back to the beginning your first big break at the age of six mm-hmm on the BBC talent show get my child on the stage so you you're on that show for quite an unusual talent weren't you when did you realize that you were so good at doing bird impressions Hey suppose it was okay well if my first words were like birds and their birds names and and like bird calls right so I just kind of never really said mommy or daddy or and like I just kind of wait and what was that bird that was the low flame and eagle from the South of France I'm just fascinated can you translate some stuff into into bird right now the judges were particularly impressed by your chaffinch noise as well can you do a bit of that for us so we've got the eagle and the that's the chaffinch what what did you say just then huh large latte it's also quicker than saying in English yeah yeah well some languages are like that and the birds are no different okay the judges loved it than me yeah he loved it and then heartbreak in the live final hundred millions of people it all went horribly wrong now it must have been a very scary experience for you this show a live TV talent show you were six years old and you do have a weird thing that happens to you when you get nervous don't you yeah well I was Oh see it's a traumatic time being six anyway the whole world's against you mmm you feel like that anyway you know when I get nervous I do tend to urinate all over myself the nerves took control of you on that show now if you're okay to continue we'd love you to tell us what happened I prefer if you took a break what we could keep talking same okay so what was the impression you were about to do I was gonna do the bald eagle and how does that go again it's well it's more just that way because we saw so it's not really much of a bird colic or the wings flapping in the air right and just did the gracefulness and that was when you were being lifted above the stage yeah well they had they had like that you know they're attached this length had its thing underneath here then they attach the clip on yeah you stood up and slowly moving around what but did you have wings no I just used my hands because it was all about the noise of the air and then I just started seeping out really so you were flying around urinating yeah on everyone beneath you yeah it was it was about it yeah especially like 20,000 people at the o2 arena yeah I probably hit 18 of them it's tough now no not many people know that now Horan isn't actually your real name you changed it because at school you got teased a lot because your name is actually much longer mhm can you tell us your real full long double-barreled yeah a name Rompin still scan Johnson & Johnson James Rumplestiltskin Johnson & Johnson James was your real name what was it like at school and what sort of things that people say to you what were the nicknames that they used for Rumplestiltskin Johnson these come be baby wipes it's just baby wipe was the one I used to get it up chaffinch boy yeah savage Bo him and baby wipes you know to be loved cleaning up messes okay so a young Rumplestiltskin Johnson & Johnson James that's just merrily going about his business at school yeah and you changed your name to Niall Horan when you left school you formed a band here's that band now what was the name of that band again that one was over two called the black shadows or something exactly so that's the black shadows and obviously we've got young Rumplestiltskin here mm-hmm this guy what was his name again it was John yeah and we got that was Steven yeah this was a while ago I think you and the guy long here that was William John Steven William and Rumplestiltskin okay well yeah like yeah it was tough because they all had normal names so I can had to go along with that that's why I changed my name you had quite an interesting style of music wasn't hugely commercially successful I'm not from there was that once on which I I loved one was custard what was it called custard something peanut coaster or jelly time peanut custard jelly time that's the one which the one that you wrote actually yeah and only took me about four minutes was it was one um ones that just happens really quick it was nice seen times it takes a long time to write a song but that one happened it was just like just came to you yeah it's actually my favorite karaoke song no it would be an honor if we could do a version now of it Tara not today okay so but I can do I can do a bit the birds if you want really you take the chorus okay or do it what L mean whatever okay so so it's just peanut butter custom Tanya [Music] when I woke up in the morning all I was is young and I just wanted custard next line me do standing in my kitchen just thinking about Kirsten [Music] mother came in and she said is all the jelly gone now said mother it's peanut butter custard jelly time [Music] peanut butter custard that was really yeah something that being said the album wasn't very successful it flopped whatsapp it you hard dumping the spirits hmm now the balance split up soon off the album was released mmm do you still see the lads no no the black shadows are no more no yeah one of them is I think one of them is a Tyler no wonder the boys just teaching physics which one was Tyler Stephen which ones teaching physics everybody William yeah Jones and Jones a swim instructor at the local pool and no no we are reaching the end of your unreal life we do have a surprise for you before you go one little surprise do you recognize this voice no it's me no sounds familiar and again no it's me that's right it's your twin sister Oh Tillie what a lovely reunion twin sister Tilly now you were telling me backstage that you now have a special handshake do you want to do if you know I love it okay right hand left hand tweet tweet tweet first go you then go me yes we haven't done that no way that was a bit rusty I'll get it I'll get it never lose it earlier that was you could tell we were born in the same minute you can that was impressive the other thing I've noticed is there's yeah well Ron explained I'll tell him it's not actually real we're actually both born in Surrey he put he puts it on too too smooth it's a hole it's an elaborate ruse the accent isn't it oh the accent is around speaking you realize actually from Chobham sorry do you realize from the accent sorry and we both went to boarding school I went on after the chaffinch show yeah and took on a different role in life and she kind of stayed at home and yeah exactly okay now you did have a nice childhood together he was always doing nice things to be with me we did I mean obviously yeah we did my favorite thing and I hope you don't mind them me telling them this and if when I had trouble sleeping he would sing me to sleep with my favorite song your beautiful by James Blunt yeah my favorite thing was his own his intricate you to the saxophone yes and I heard about this so you can actually do that song on the saxophone yeah amazing yeah well I feel like this would be a lovely place to end the interview if you wouldn't mind a musical accompaniment to say goodbye to everybody we have got yes we have got a saxophone ready to go so you can do
