644. Now on day break and we are celebrating some holiday attractions opening up just over the border in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The Winter Festival of Lights is about to begin. Yeah, something to do with the family. This time of the year, the free winter tradition is an outdoor light festival with larger than life displays and day breaks. Kevin o'neill is there live with a sneak peek for us this morning. Hey, Kev. Hi, Kevin. Good morning. Good morning. Good morning from Canada's second largest country in the world. So happy to have it. Uh Hi, uh as uh our neighbor, uh Charles Hunter. Uh Nice to see you. How are you doing? Director of Horticulture from Niagara Parks. Uh Congratulations. You, you gotta be excited again. I am. You know what? This is actually one of my favorite times of the year. Most people are starting to shut down. We're just starting to light up. Uh How geographically, how, how expensive is this? So the winter festive lights about a mile and a half. So three kilometers long, it extends from Clifton Hill all the way to different islands. What an undertaking. Yeah, it's a little different every year, every year we've got something, a little special this year is a little bit more playful. We have more light activations and I want to say experiential celebration stuff. Yeah. Yeah, there's light shows. There's light exhibits. There's vignettes for people to take photo ops. That sort of idea. We've got a really great starter night planned for November 18th. Uh, we start at six. Is this the, this talk about what's going on? Yeah, so we've got 630. We start up Nicholas Picas DJ Nicholas Picas is starting off the show. We've got a spect spectacular uh Circus Orange at 730 then we've got a special uh uh fireworks at 830. That's outstanding and it's, it's not entirely set up yet. It's gonna be all done by Saturday. You're here early today as we are. How long does this go on until we, we start November 18th? And we go all the way to January 7th here in the destination. There's lots of things to see. Niagara is busy every day, but there's always something to do. Is this a drive around or walk around? You can walk around, you can drive around. There are many bits that are free. In fact, the, the opening ceremony is definitely free for visitors and guests. And one of my favorite things is actually the hot chocolate tour I'm in. Yeah. How does that work? Well, if you go to uh wl dot com you're going to find that route on there. In fact, we've got a specialty one at our own table house, our Table Rock House restaurant and it's a salty caramel from Wayne Gretzky's. I'm in my favorite. Fantastic. Again, it's the Winter Festival of Lights. You remember those initials? That's the website WFOL dot com. You know, the, the, there's, there's the charge to get into the floral show house. There's, you probably get charged for parking. Other than that, everything is free. Uh, salted caramel and Wayne Gretzky. It doesn't get any better than that. All right, thanks very much, Kev. Great.
