Niagara Falls Winter Festival of Lights / Santa and a Coke / Clifton Hill / Canada Falls Christmas

tonight we're here in Niagara Falls Canada we're going to go down we're going to take a look at all the Christmas lights that they have down there you ready Don ready let's do this [Music] thank you foreign [Music] ice house or yeah very very cool and then you have oh it's a it's a pegasus right oh it's a unicorn yeah because the Pegasus got Wings right and that's the casino on top of the hill there and our hotel is just under it just over that way beautiful Christmas trees so there's this little walking area through the park here through Niagara park I think it's what they call this because the Falls are just just over there so this is the area on the opposite side of the falls but anyways uh beautiful oh my goodness the Coca-Cola Santa truck is here and Santa himself is over there taking photos with folks and they're giving out free bottles of Coca-Cola over here right across from the Falls of all places yeah I could think of a better place to pass out Coke hello Merry Christmas it's Santa merry Christmas everybody are we having a good year yes you've been good young man yeah well you got time to make it up Christmas isn't here yet you make it easy oh oh young man you got him she's a makeup you better get her done they have to be cold under the tree for you well we got to meet Santa up here in Canada and he gave us a Coke a dream and he says I'm gonna get coal that's what he told me it's on the naughty list I haven't been that bad this year no you've been on you're on the good list all right yeah they got these twinkling lights here in the woods kind of like fireflies [Music] tell a single soul what I'm going to say Christmas Eve is coming soon now are you dear old man whisper what you'll bring to me tell me if you were a cat when the clock is striking 12 when I'm fast asleep down the chimney Broad and black with your pack your queen yeah this is King George IV is all surrounded by some Christmas lights the American Falls look spectacular over there they're changing colors you'll notice this fire hydrant has this great big like stick hanging out of the top and that's for snow so they could find it because they can get they can get that much snow you've got these beautiful angels in this Courtyard there's a lot of folks out tonight enjoying this of course it is Saturday night I love how the trees are reflecting off the water even these deer over here are reflecting oh my goodness there's a lot more lights coming up we're at Niagara Falls welcome to Niagara parks this one here is very popular with everyone everybody's getting their family photos taken here [Music] so we walked from the casino to Clifton Hill normally we come to Niagara Falls we stay at the Crowne Plaza or the Brock Hotel and this is the Gatlinburg of Niagara Falls pretty much the same thing apparently got a Rainforest Cafe I've never been into this one they have a Wendy's they have a movie land wax museum how the Stars over there the Great Canadian Midway they still got their Ruby Tuesday and they're headquartered while they were headquartered in Knoxville we lost all of ours but there's Ruby Tuesday here oh they got a great big cuckoo bird ah cuckoo hookah bird a fun house I had some friends that stay at this travelage haunted house and brontos Adventure Playland [Music] thank you miss everybody these guys are having way too much fun tuned everyone some of these things they'll be in different videos but they'll be coming out it's the greatest show in Clifton Hill Family Fun and this has been here as long as I could remember Dracula's haunted castle I've never been in here but it's just very iconic here I like the the tooth you'll notice they still got a lot of their roadside attractions uh where Gatlinburg has been getting rid of theirs over the years and this here has got to be they're almost 40 years old The Blue Moose Trading Company huh and that's the Blue Moose himself man it's a toy store another thing you'll notice they have a lot of their hotels still on the strip and they some of them still have balconies that you can you can sit off of Clifton Hillbillies I didn't know there was Hillbillies in on Clifton Hill show it's not Poor Boys and there's a little mouse that just ran by [Music] e oh my goodness they have a Benihana here that's one thing I wish we would get I know we have a Little Tokyo but it'd be kind of cool if we had a Betty Hana too and this is very iconic to Clifton Hill they have Frankenstein up there eating a Whopper of all things he's eating a Whopper up there they got a Hortons Canadian Trading Company wizard Wizards golf and Ripley's Believe it or not and when in the north you got to have Beaver tails world famous this is a famous house of Frankenstein [Music] so this here is new and I have a feeling this will be coming to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge shortly it's Ripley's selfie Studios pretty much what you do is they have these backgrounds that you can take selfies of yourself and I think it's the next thing you're going to see in Gatlinburg and you have Lewis tassad's wax works over there that's been there as long as I can remember too they also have the guru which is an Italian restaurant and we've stayed at that Falls hotel before it was a different name back then but they got Christmas lights for their wheel that's cool [Music] behold the Baconator a half pound of fresh Canadian beef six strips of bacon foreign [Music] really nice fireworks display up over the falls and we got there at the last few minutes of it we're running down Clifton Hill and but we did get to see a little bit of it and there's the American Falls they change colors slowly frosting is very popular over there with the kids and that's Niagara New York across the river I don't think they run May to the miss this time of year nothing more welcoming to Canada than a maple leaf [Music] now we're gonna head down to the Horseshoe Falls that's very spectacular um he'll get missed it down there those lights up there is what changes the falls different colors I first come here as a kid they used to be great big light bulbs now there's LEDs it just shows how much technology has changed and it's misting it's raining well it always missed in here oh The Falls are beautiful look at that changing different colors every color of the rainbow yeah it's getting windy okay so I'm absolutely soaked to the bone that was probably one of the most amazing things I've seen in a while I am soaked I'm cold that was like the craziest my camera's all soaking wet wow there's the love of my life right there nothing better than being in a great big heart and so saying I love you and the wet freezing cold cold all we need is love [Music] the American Falls are red white and blue and then over here at the Horseshoe they have the Canadian colors red and white well folks that's going to do it for tonight here in Niagara Falls we do have some more adventures coming
