Hi guys What's up? So I figured what better way to start off the new year with a basic Classic on my animals video because guess what I have new animals if we're being completely honest here this could almost become a weekly series, but We're gonna try to keep it to a minimum because I don't like to repeat videos But this is one that I often repeat Because people request it a lot so apparently people cannot remember what animals I have and don't have people have lost track So let's let's go over that shall we okay so right now all the animals are basically on the floor But I'm getting some new shelves in they're gonna come It's a whole process cuz they're also custom-made so literally it's gonna take like four weeks But every single animal in this room except the fish are getting cage upgrades every single cage is gonna be So much bigger than the cages They have now of course if an animal like the transferor or something requires smaller space they're gonna stay in smaller enclosures But Benji's getting a cage. That's like three times as big all the snakes are getting upgrades crested geckos are getting upgrades hedgehogs It's kind of cool that I'm doing this now cuz then you know in a few weeks. We can make another video Where you see all the differences so anyway? I'm gonna shut it down so that show the animals, okay, so First up we have ella ella was asleep, so it might take Ella minutes be a little friendly. Here's Ella hello Ella Can you calm down for two seconds Ella just to say hello come on come watch she is an African pygmy? And she's a Pinto you could see she has one great ear ouch, and one pink ear that wasn't very nice I didn't I didn't okay. I'll put you down. I'm sorry They don't really like to be held on their backs like that So I'm gonna go ahead and not do that no Ella's leaving he's done. Okay. See you later Don't know what coming back up not leaving where you going? Oh, she's going to see her sister her sister is nowhere near as friendly. She's in here This is Surabhi as we can see here ella is down to play, but Surabhi is not you can't really keep a hedgehogs together There's not really there's only occasional circumstances where you can keep them together, but most of the time. It's more of a risk than Anything because if they're trying to sleep together or something One of them can poke to each other's eyes out most of the time you definitely want to house them alone. She was a rescue We rescued her from someone who just abandoned her completely. They were feeding her like one mealworm Everyday and that's definitely not sufficient for a hedgehog She was extremely underweight couldn't even walk right and she was surrendered to a local rescue group And they contacted me because they knew I had had jobs and so I decided to take her in Apparently her owner gave her to a friend to watch and then the owner moved and never came back so yeah She's mine now, and I love her, but she's really shy Ella's a little upset that her food bowls empty. Okay. She's walking away She doesn't care that much and she's going back to sleep so now we're moving on to the vape house here. We keep Teenagers in here who are too cool. I don't know where to go with that we keep angsty teenagers in here It's the vape house For real though in a real note. We have let's see if we can find them it's always hard to find them teenagers these days Okay, so here's Drogo. He is a crocodile king He's a little moist all right here is Daenerys put her in there, and she's gonna run off. Yep two seconds She's gone, and they don't like to be held at all so that's basically all you're gonna see from them. They're definitely Observational animals you look at them, and that's all you do you don't really hold them or anything That's all you're gonna get out of them So then it put them back away and turn their vape system up So this is bindi bindi is my Blue Tongue skink. She thinks that I have food for her. Hey bendy She just winked at me I'll bring you food in a second. Okay, bendy. I see what you breathing really heavy You're getting excited thinking about food like in your lips. Okay here. We have my pride and joy you say hi That's a good lick. Thank you for the lick for the camera now these guys are native to Australia It's actually kind of funny because I don't know where you're watching from but here in America we have these little things called a Knowles and There are these tiny little lizards, and they run all over our backyards And they're all over and we see them every day basically no in Australia people see these things every day They're a little bigger than a Knowles, but these guys will run around in the backyards in Australia. You'll see them crossing the road They're all over the place. They're now Blue Tongue Skink some really really like snails, but I can't even promise you that she's gonna eat these right now But we'll give it a go. We'll see you shortly Nell Bindu. You're gonna pass that right up I'm talking about how much you love them, and you are passing them up You're making me look bad like this is how I get paid to buy you snails look if you ever want to snail again you Got to eat it for the camera, okay I won't be able to afford buying you snails unless you bought eat a snail for the camera so people can say whew that's a Cool video, okay, bindi forget you you just you made us go bankrupt. Thanks bindi. That's it careers over I hope you're going to the trash. Can yep, that's where we belong and in here We have a Western hognose now These guys are rear fangs venomous, but their venom only affects frogs and an phibian sand I just broke this plant and I was kind of distracted by that, so I'm sorry. Let's start over okay anyway These guys are rear fin venomous But it really only affects and fib ian's and if a human were to get bit it would really be the equivalent of a bee Sting in the wild these guys will eat in phidian's, but in captivity. They really are normally just about a diet of mice I've had Celia since she was eating pinky mice And now she moved up to Fuzzies and then hoppers so she's eating hoppers now now these guys actually don't normally resort to biting as a defense That's one of their last resorts the first thing. They will do is a lot of fall strikes and hissing well. They're gonna You know they're gonna puff up They're gonna, try to look scary and they're gonna pretend to jump and bite you But they're actually not going to if that doesn't work then they're going to roll over on their back and play dead I see you Doing a little wiggle there It looks really funny so I'm just just filming it for a second you're doing you're doing a really funny wiggle now these guys are called hog noses because They do have a very pig-like nose. It's a super cute feature It's one of my favorite features about these guys other than their keeled scales which just means their scale pattern More rigid than other snakes these guys have scales that are very similar to like a rattlesnake this enclosure is for a leopard gecko Her enclosures being upgraded when all those new enclosures come in. She's in need of a big upgrade because she's getting really big She's actually not blind She just has very White eyes and a good way to tell the health of a leopard geckos by checking the thickness of their tail as their tails really Thick it means they have a lot of fat stored up and that they're eating really well And if their tail is very thin then they may be emaciated they may not be getting enough nutrients in their diet And it's a good indicator that you need to maybe change up their diet a little bit feed him a little more frequently we're gonna Go ahead and get her out of these bright lights because she just does not enjoy bright lighting at all And they actually can completely detach their tail so you have to be really careful when handling them Because they can completely throw their tail off because some predators will grab them by the tail they detach it So they can still run away. I can't wait till I get all those new enclosures guys. I'm telling you She's actually in this hole right here now this snake Here is Gucci and she's just about to shed so we're not gonna keep her out too long We don't really want to handle her too much handling a snake That's about to shed can really stress them out and make this shed a little difficult now Gucci is this a no lean milk snake One way you could tell she's about to shed is her eyes become very blue This is a skin cap it's basically a protection Protects the eyes when they go through a shed so the eyes don't get damaged also become more Joel in color So she's normally a little brighter of a red when they're about to shut. It's best you just leave him alone They normally won't even eat sir about a week before the shed and use leave them alone and let them do their thing and then They will go back to their normal diet all right this one can be a little difficult to find Because she likes to burrow now her enclosure is really just the bare minimum right now It's just so she can adjust to being where she is now a whole new place moving It's very stressful on these crabs these crabs will sometimes have a very hard time acclimating to a new environment So I want to start with something small to make sure you know she was comfortable if you're gonna handle these guys I always like To handle them close to a surface so if they fall. They're not gonna really hurt themselves thanks for that little pinch I really appreciate that my hands. Got really dirty looking around for her anyway. This is my Halloween crab I think she is amazing There are such beautiful creatures these guys actually are forest-dwelling crabs that go to the ocean only during breeding season She really likes to eat fish so I always put fish on there anyway her enclosure super basic These crabs actually do like to climb so especially when I get an upgrade to this enclosure. She's gonna have a lot of Opportunities to climb and then you know one side to burrow in and one side to explore in climbin now over here We have my tarantulas enclosure She's actually building a web year we can see if an and she has a lot of spots She can tunnel in she actually built this little area herself now It's a little hard to tell, but she actually moved all of this dirt out and back on top of here And she made her own little cave over here off to the side She has a very shallow water dish right here Which I end up having to clean about every day because as you can see she gets a lot of dirt in there tarantulas aren't Known to drink very much It's always good to have water available for them some very shallow water, so they don't end up You know hurting themselves getting in there to Deep Potentially drowning themselves so you want something really shallow very accessible really trenches get most of their water from their food So don't be alarmed if you give your tarantula water And it looks like they never really drink any now I would get her out But she personally just does not like being handled although Rose hair tarantula is normally do very well with being handled He just really doesn't enjoy it at all. She's never really liked it when I first got her I could handle her a little bit But ultimately if it tells that she really did not enjoy it now this guy here has a very Boring life to say the least this is my pac-man frog his name is asteroid and you can see he's just Chilling in the dirt, and I actually brought him up a little bit out of the dirt. Just to show you guys He was actually pretty much completely covered in it with just his eyes poking out asteroid is a pac-man frog basically They live up to their name where they are just a mouth and a giant stomach And that's really all they are and they will eat anything you put in front of them basically this guy will eat crickets earthworms mice Even when they're older they could eat, baby chicks, so they absolutely have a huge stomach now these guys are sitting wait predators Which means they don't go out and hunt for food They sit in the dirt and just wait for the prey to come to them the prey will not be suspecting them you know just Walking over thinking. It's Patra dirt. Suddenly. They're inside the stomach of a pac-man pro now these guys actually do have teeth. It's very interesting Okay next up we have my opinion, Stan Bowa these decorations are pretty much completely useless. He's never gonna use them He's gonna spend his whole life in the Aspen He might poke his head out to get some water or to eat But otherwise he just you know lives in the dirt So my best way to find him is by looking under the enclosure means go under here, and Oh looky there We have a snake He's currently under the water dish this actually might mean he's close to shedding as well because they like to get a little extra moisture When they're gonna shed but let's check him out real quick. This is toast. He's my Kenya and SAN boa He's tiny they really take a very long time to grow since this guy is a male He's gonna max out at about a foot and a half max So he's definitely a very small snake although their name is a Kenyan sand boa They do not need sand to live on I actually recommend Aspen because the Aspen holds their tunnels better okay next up is my nice skin black king snake so here He is he's actually my favorite snake my favorite. Type of snake that I own. I think my skin black king snakes are beautiful He has a little bit of sawdust on him from the Aspen, but if we look in the light He's this extremely beautiful black color It still has a little bit of white on his little beard area that will go away with age He'll turn completely black He is very young right now And these guys are also a species that kind of like to climb around a little bit And they don't like to go into trees and things like that But they do like to climb up a little bit higher Sometimes in their enclosure now these guys do like to get pretty warm sometimes, so we do have a basking spot right here He could sit over there You'll see him perch out there quite often actually and then just a regular UVB light, which isn't necessary But I actually find that it's really Useful and helpful for them and here we have a rotten banana next up weight of Phoenix. He's my crested gecko He's one of the reptiles that I really recommend for beginners I think they make great beginner reptiles very low-maintenance very easy, so that was Phoenix And this one is Ecco as you can see they come in different color variations So you can get all sorts of cute colors interesting fact about this guy is I adopted him and I say adopted of course Loosely because it did come from Petco, but he was free I adopted him from a Petco They actually got a shipment of adult crested geckos And they were keeping them with a bunch of really young juvenile crested geckos And they were fighting a bunch as you can see he actually has three nostrils It's really hard to see it's not really a third nostril It's just a wound that healed kind of weird, but he has a little little nostril on him It was just from the way that they were keeping him inappropriately At Petco either that or he was bred really weird Um either way could be completely believable when it comes to places like Petco for reptiles I always recommend just going to straight to a breeder a local breeder Not a mass breeder someone who does it humanely and? Knows all about every single one of the little babies They have and really can tell you their history appropriately okay next up We have my really grumpy really blind Hedgehog And he really likes to poop on his wheels so I get to clean his wheel again tonight you may remember him from I let my hedgehog roam the house for an entire video, and yeah, he was blind then and he's still blind. Oh, yeah He's he's chewing something right now. What are you sniffing? Okay? You're gonna. Go care. Just go back to eating things Kovu I'm done with you over here. We have my freshwater planted tank We actually have some bamboo up here in the filter because a lot of people don't really realize that if you buy this bamboo at a store you might often find it being sold in the Water and you buy it you take it home, and you put the whole thing in your water And then for some reason your bamboo dies and that's because bamboos actually are only semi-aquatic They only go halfway in the water and the rest is supposed to be let out so in here We have some betta fish you have a little bit of Sorority I have some Kongo tetras some Celebes rainbow fish and a leopard bush fish celebrity. I've had since it was really a tea Biddy He's grown a lot. We also have a clown pleco and some quarries in there, and that's a 48 gallon BOE front Okay, now. We are entering ball python central. I adore ball pythons They are amazing and the way that I keep the temperatures in my house is just perfect for them So I definitely have gotten quite a few in a very short period of time, but hey Can you blame me I freaking love snakes. Okay, so first up. Here is a new addition. This is Tate now He is an albino pied ball python But I really wanted to get in the light is his little little face on the side of him I think it's super cute I think it's super cute, and he's an albino, so he's the only snake of mine that has a red eyes So that was Tate and this one's gonna be violet violet and Tate you know American Horror Story, okay? I actually had a really weird you know name idea at first I originally wanted to name her morphine because morphing is a painkiller and most people associate snakes with inflicting pain so I thought maybe morphine would be a cool spin on fighting the Stereotype for snakes, but you know Morphine isn't opiate and there are people addicted to opiates out there So I felt like maybe that would be too much of a push You know I went ahead and I was sticking with violet. She is a super Mojave He has that little pinkish purple head of hers, and then the rest of her is literally almost iridescent She's white with a little bit of yellow in there So now when she gets older this may turn to more of just all yellow hoping it doesn't the breeder showed me some pictures of Her parents and the parents really kept the white and the head actually got more purple So we'll see she is my only female ball python So I'm excited because that means she's gonna get a little bigger than all the other ones so that's violet We're gonna move on to the original ball python the very first ball python I ever got This is Maui Maui is getting very large ball pythons Definitely don't need a lot of space because they really do spend most of their time Relaxing other than when it's time to hunt I don't think he needs like a massive enclosure, but here's Maui He loves to sleep in his little Hut he's always gonna have a special place in my heart because he was my original ball python Ignore my bird mark there. I hurt myself making pizza today, so he's a pastel pied ball python. I think he's so beautiful I love him so much as you could see he's getting very large. I love when they look wiggle Look at how they wiggle I love it you wiggling back to your home Maui keep on wiggling wiggle wiggle wiggle Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo, no okay. Oh look he's going back in his enclosure. Oh never mind no He's not I thought it was gonna be cute I thought you're gonna put yourself away and a little enclosure, but instead you did this. What is this what have you done? Hi? What you doing now next up we have Louie now, Louie is my most expensive ball python He is a firefly pastel clown. This guy is definitely really pretty to look at my favorite feature about him I mention it every time. I show him is his angry little eyebrow He has a little eyebrow above his eye that makes him look permanently concerned. So that's Louie and Louie does have this blueish green Eye color it's super pretty now. This guy is getting an amazing tank upgrade. I actually already have the tank ready I just got to set it up now this guy's in the middle of shutting pretty hard so actually I'm not gonna get any amount it Just started so as you could see his head the nose just tipped out so the rest should follow It should be a one complete piece That's how you know if the humidity is correct in their enclosure If they do shed in very choppy little tiny flaky pieces you definitely need to work on your humidity And then we have this little girl her name is twisty All she was young now. She is a red bearded dragon so when she grows up She's really gonna get that red coloration in and this here is Gus he is my two and a half year old Rescue mouse he was opposed to be a feeder mouse for someone's snake but I just kept eyeing him down and Eventually the person was just like do you want to take him instead and let me take him for free He was covered in a lot of nasty injuries from the way. He was housed beforehand He was housed with a bunch of other adult male mice Which is never good for male mice to be housed together normally works with littermates being housed together Otherwise most male mice are just going to fight People have pointed out lately that I wear very dark colors and seem very dull So I'm wearing a shirt with a quarry on it, and it's pink next up We have ghost say hi. Go next we have ghost one of my kittens oh He tried to lay on my shoulder but he is too big for that I Was a cute little Dion you did for the camera next we have Nemo who's getting really big You say hi Nemo Nemo look up here hello Nemo Nemo hello, hi You're playing with a crumb you're playing with the wall That's the wall Nemo you're playing with nothing That's your tail So this is my thirty gallon of bio, cube. This is a zoo my little dwarf fuzzy lionfish He was actually the first saltwater fish I ever owned an exception of one little clownfish that I had tried to save but Did not end up doing properly But hey I tried this was my I guess to be exact this was my second ever saltwater fish He's two years old now, and he's doing awesome He's with the Lightning maroon clownfish a female and his Toby puffer and a lot of freaking apt Asia Which I need to get out of this tank it's really bothering me. It's really ugly It's basically a pest and enemy, but it definitely doesn't bother the Predators in here. They could care less But that's this little tank in here. They're all hungry, so they're coming to the surface now I think it's time to eat But they have a little bit longer to wait until it's time to eat Now this here is a tank that I'm still really excited to get some more corals in and things like that But it's home to many of my very personable fish we have mr.. Cheesewright here. He's actually part dog. I'm convinced He's just an underwater dog But so was irwin if we're being honest Irwin likes to come to the surface and beg for food I think he's doing right now. Hey how you doing you just watching me film Yeah Yeah, okay meow to you too - are you eating hard food, I'm so proud of you I'm so proud of you for not eating wet food. You don't you only eat wet food You know some seaweed everyone likes to beg for food Oh God that got in my eye, and cheese is getting really large like his little horns sticking out of the water and then here in the kitchen is my Axolotl Mushu she's doing really well now she had a little bit of a scare a while back I believed she was egg bound so I kind of left her alone to go through her issues You know her lady problems, but it turned out she actually ended up having a fungus that just wasn't showing externally very well It was actually a very scary experience, but she recovered fully gonna come to the surface and get my finger nibble. Oh, thank you Oh, thank you. Oh, thank you. Oh, thanks. Oh you got it. You got me Yeah, when she got that fungus She had lost all of her gills, but as we can see they have all grown back now fully, and she's definitely pumped back out She's doing really good I also kind of wanted to include in this video the elephant in the room a lot of people have been asking me what happened To my service dog let's let's talk about that for a second a lot of people are like Where did she go why don't you have her bla bla bla bla well? Long story short actually there is no way to make this short the quickest Way to sum it up is I did the training for the service dog training She was wonderful she learned so much and then got her vest everything But then it came time for me to move and she had really really bonded with my entire family Not just me she kind of became a family dog even though she was in training to be my service dog We hadn't gotten to the point in service dog training where she learned alerts or anything we just did the very you know beginning phases of the training since she was a rescue and she was a very skittish dog and Did take a lot of intensive training to get her Past that point where she was you know too nervous to be a service dog it took a lot of training to get her to Open up and be comfortable and be a dog. I think it took like five months or her to even start playing with toys That's crickets are gonna drive me nuts in the background of this. I swear to god She was just a very nervous dog so the training took a long time by the time It came you know time for me to look at new places to live and what I was wanting to move out She'd become very very attached to not only my family, but also my other dog, Chiara They would play like crazy in the backyard together. They'd go everywhere together. They sleep together They loved each other on top of that the initial reason I began looking for a service dog for myself was because my little brother needed a service dog and we came across one that you know I fell in love with and we decided to train her and get to the point where we can train her for my anxiety and my you know joint problems my mobility issues things like that we Thought you know okay, that's gonna be good for me But we still never found one for my little brother anyway Basically when it came time to move we decided to go ahead and leave her at My parents house even before I started looking we kind of came to this decision beforehand We kind of knew it was gonna happen back around summertime actually is when we first kind of started talking about this being how? Things were gonna be we decided to go ahead and use her to be Tanner service dog since she had already Gotten so used to that family. You know she loved my mom she loved my brother She loved my little dog my dad she loved that family as she loved that home And she's already 2 years old she spent the first two years of her life being thrown around all over the place She finally got a permanent home somewhere I felt like I've lit like uprooting that and moving into an apartment Without my other dog because Kiara is pretty much My mom's dog so you know taking her away from that family and making her live in an apartment Just to be my service dog was not fair on her so I love her to death seriously. I love that dog so much I'm getting teary eyed because like I miss her I miss her, but I know that she's better off With my parents and better off being a service dog for my little brother so she can still you know be the you know puppy and play in the backyard with my other little dog and have a Yard and sadly it just didn't work out for me But it's not really sad because that dog is so happy she's such a happy dog and she has such an amazing life So I'm so I'm positive I made the right call on that so So that's where my dogs went anyway back to showing you guys the animals I hope you guys enjoyed seeing all the animals again Sorry these videos are annoying to some of you guys are always apologize when I make these videos Because I personally think it'd be annoying to see this more than once But I know a lot of you guys really like seeing them all in one and you Know knowing exactly what I have and things like that so so so check out my merch on my merch store We have cool new merch coming soon Say, thank you for watching I'll just leave it up to cheese to do it Do the outro cheese, thank you for watching please subscribe so I can take over the world
