*NEW* GLO-FISH AQUARIUM!!

all right it's now time to put the fish in oh I got them all in one scoop here we go be free what's up guys today we're going to be setting up my little fish tank for these fish that we just stole from area 51 if you don't know I'm Tom out you gotta go check out the last video if you're new here my name is George this is goldfish 12g as you can see this morning Johnny is not here anymore and he's back at school he's learning he's growing getting smarter trust me he needs it so this is what I realized instead of getting a whole new tank just for them I actually have a perfectly working freshwater tank right here so I'm gonna put them in my twenty gallon Cray fish tank this tank was next on my list for redoing the only thing that's in here is my blue crayfish Smurfette look at you you've got this entire tank to yourself these fish should actually be perfect for this tank because my crayfish has got to be kind of lonely in there and they'll provide each other stimulation keeping everyone in the friend group on their toes so did you hear friends you got Rachel Monica Phoebe Ross Joey and then we need to go get a Chandler oh my god we're gonna go get a Chandler and some new decorations for that tank oh good morning dad you think of my new video you see it so it seems like you're not upset anymore is that true well I'm still have said that you pull Jonnie out of school but for the video that you made I think it's worth it yeah it was a good one all right I gotta go all right you guys want to see something crazy check this out awkward Shelley Chicago is in one week and everyone is sending their packages to my house like look at this is this not crazy have you ever received this many packages but wait there's more but I'm not done yet I hope it's getting a little bit out of control and my mom is still kind of pissed off at me for going to area 51 so that certainly isn't helping this situation so it's like super early because I wanted to get these fish in a tank as soon as possible I'm here at Petco because honestly this is the only place that I know that sells Blowfish stuff and you know I'm not gonna act like I'm above Petco or anything [Music] all right I found their glow fish now which one of you wants to be a Chandler yep this guy looks like a Chandler I'm gonna go get an employee to get me my Chandler hopefully they don't recognize me hey guys it's me George this is a voiceover because I forgot to turn the microphone on the only worthwhile thing I mentioned in this entire clip is that the only sell the 10 gallon version of their glofish kit in Petco stores so if you're interested in doing a setup similar to mine I'm gonna leave a link in my description to a 20 gallon a glofish kit that I would recommend alright this weighs over any cent like right now because I'm I'm losing my cover not again that's twice in one video all right honestly I probably deserve this voiceover just bought glofish stuff from Petco this is definitely an all time fresh water scrub below for me basically I got all my stuff I'm about to put it in the tank let's introduce Chandler to the rest of his friends we're gonna get along perfect ok so it's time for acclamation [Applause] all right so the fish are pretty much done acclimating now I'm going to escape the tank really quick that way all that stuff is in there before we put the fish in so I got mostly green and like yellow ones I've never been a fan of fake plants but it does seem like a really good match low fish tank with a crayfish crayfish likes to eat real plants and so these will offer some nice hiding places without turning into a snack for Smurfs at all right so I think it turned out pretty good actually I like the way it looks I decided to only use the green and yellowish plants because it gives it a more natural look so they still glow because I got some of the blues on but it's that super like cheesy or tacky looking and it's kind of interesting because I kind of think I created a whole new genre of aquascapes altogether this is like a hybrid between an uma goomy and a globe fish tank now I have one more decoration I didn't want to share with you until right now this little UF okay like crayfish will be able to hide in Berlin it is also perfectly themed because these fish are from area 51 the water is a little cloudy because I did have to stir up the substrate now I also didn't fill up the entire space with these plants because Smurfette does need a lot of ground space to be able to roam around the tank all right it's now time to put the fish in oh I got them all in one scoop here we go be free be free oh it looks like the blue fish has met blue Smurfette they're having a little blue off right now Oh God Smurfette chill chill he's new he is new it's not fair you can't try to catch him while he's still trying to get acclimated we got the rest of the guys over here these are the smart ones I know you some of you are absolutely about to roast me for having an Ecotec XR 30 Pro on a globe Ridge tank for those of you that don't this used to be a saltwater tank back in my dorm room like two years ago so this tank just keeps evolving this light's actually kind of perfect for this tank because you can totally change the look of the tank based on the light yes she's already starting to use it as her new home right now she's kind of squeezed in there but I bet you in a few days once she digs all of the substrate inside of that cave out it'll look like she has a ton more room in there we're sorry please tell us what it is Noby it's a state of total awareness okay only by achieving true unagi aw be prepared for any danger that may befall you we may in case someone's trying to steal your bamboo sleeping mat or kettle of fish all I'm saying is it's one thing being prepared for an attack against like each other cool another story being prepared for an attack surprise alright guys I'm gonna be calling this tank the friends tank I do want to clear up any confusion that I may have created with my last video so yes it's true that all glofish are genetically modified however that's different from being genetically mutated so in my last video the very first glofish that you saw that were all clear with a painted stripe on them those are called painted glass fish and those fish I am actually totally against because those fish are injected with paint they're not born like that in my eyes that's something that I can't support it's not something that I would ever want for any animal is to be genetically mutated however these types of glow fish are born with this genetic disposition to the way that they supposedly created these was that they fused the DNA of the regular tetras with the DNA of chloral and jellyfish coral huh yeah it's no wonder I kind of like these so these types of Blowfish are born with this coloration they'll have it the rest of their lives they live just as healthy lives as a regular tetra to be honest I wasn't a fan of these fish at first but they have slowly been growing on me they created glow fish out of a variety of different species now including danios Tiger Barb's tetras which are the ones I have and now they're even doing rainbow sharks now when you're buying glow fish you should definitely buy at least five or more tetras are a schooling fish and so they do like to be in groups if you guys are interested in getting a setup similar to this I'm gonna link everything you might need down in the description below blue fish actually makes a 20-gallon version of their glow fish tanks in a 10 gallon you can swing maybe four or five glow fish but in the twenty gallon you can comfortably fit between six and twelve you can also then possibly get a crayfish guys if you do not have a twenty gallon tank please please do not put a crayfish in with your glow fish the reason that this tank concept that I just created is possible is because this is a 20 gallon tank with plenty of space on the ground for the crayfish and lots of room up top for the globe fish look guys I'll be honest with you I never thought that I would be making a video on glow fish like it just was never a thought the more that I research about them and the more that I learn about them I think they are a very good thing for our hobby they're getting a lot of kids interested in the aquarium hobby they are a very good beginner fish and so if someone can move from something like this to then a freshwater planted tank so then maybe a reef tank it's only growing people's knowledge for aquariums for fish hopefully those glow big George what's up man good how are you what's up what do you think I dug this to take out a little bit this is the friends tank oh I think that's awesome they look like glow sticks like I feel like Tiesto should be up here mixing save boots and cats like really really fast boots and cats and boots and cats to go faster fast foods and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats and boots and cats it's a cat how long do they live though I think like 5 to 10 you know that's a great ROI 10 bucks for five years yeah but this
