New FORTS Battleship Siege vs Orbital Strike!

welcome back to fort's high seas dlc we have floating warships battleships aircraft carriers we have a whole slew of new weapons that we showed off in the last video which included air force planes that we can use to run air strikes on enemy battleships now we did a battleships only game but you're going to see in this map we have a mix of both warships as well as forts and the enemy is going to be dealing with a mirrored force now among the weapons we're going to use today are the orbital strike basically we want to use the death star to help us destroy enemy ships and the enemy forts now we didn't use the orbital strike in the last video so i'm really excited to see how this new super weapon that was introduced to forze with the newest dlc how that plays out so at first what we need to do is well we need to get our defenses up and running and i'm thinking that the way to do that is with lots of gunners at first because they are oh so cheap all the while needing to work on our technology and i'm thinking these forts in the back are the best place to do that now as far as where we're gonna put our orbital strike i'm thinking on these uh land-based forts because space is at a premium on the battleships and i'm thinking what i want to do is put one of these hard points on the back of each of these so we want blast doors right there we got to get this technology up and running let's work on our power base here what we're going to do is just build the tallest tower ever apparently and get these turbines in now we can put smoke stacks on our warships to generate electricity but like i said space is at a premium and we want to reserve this space right here on each of them for deck guns for heavy artillery this is looking like it's gonna work pretty well so what's interesting is we have to get a hardpoint first and then we're gonna need orbital sweep ammunition spots so whatever base is gonna have to have that he's gonna need a lot of room for it so i wanna dedicate this fortress right here to that endeavor all right let's we could turn this into an early firebase now where is my auto cannon the 20 millimeter auto cannon we need the next bit of technology which is this munition plant and then we're gonna need a factory for later tech so let's just do that and upgrade some of these generators and hope that we're just ahead of our tech than the enemy is oh look at that i love how they're doing this they're putting little sandbags and little machine guns they've got okay they do they are using a few smoke stacks and we're not but honestly i think i'm okay with that we need to turn these into deck guns this is gonna be one two and then back here where we get the autocannons whenever these two things are done it's gonna take a little bit of time so one thing we can do while we wait is get our anti-aircraft defenses up so what we'll do is build these little like extensionary gondolas oh incoming what are they firing okay rockets that's fine that's some early level tech nothing to be afraid about oh here we go we're getting our first deck guns and we're gonna build some auto cannons to spray and pray that is literally the early game strat all right i'm thinking this is looking decent though our ships are looking pretty thick and juicy oh the enemy is doing the same thing they're putting their guns on the back too okay i don't like that and one thing that stinks is you can't send your ships forward like would it be cool if you could like create ramming ships to attack the enemy okay oh wow their artillery guns are already done dang they were a little ahead of us it seems i do not like that control group three is in range or control group four is three is not and needs to be adjusted i think i just blew up my ship you sang my battleship shells away let's see what their anti-air defenses it's pretty dang impressive yeah it's gonna require these guys isn't it how are we doing that one was overshot that one is either over or under depending on where you're looking we took out that artillery shell immediately let's start upgrading these guys and hit the enemy with something there we go i like that i do like that alright so were you undershot or overshot i think you were overshot there we go that's juicy that's good good hits good hits they have a singular high-powered cannon how are these guys uh oh there we go getting good hits okay this thing is sinking and not doing well at all we took out the artillery piece that was sitting off the back there while we're upgrading ours how are we doing as far as our defenses we did lose one machine gun here but other than that we're fine we're gonna put in a few here and these things are definitely saving our bacon so i just love spamming those munitions oh they got a heat laser that did it's really a very good job at stopping a lot of our guns oh we got fires we didn't put out oh man that heat laser went all the way in through the core yikes there's the auto cannons shellacking them and hitting this gun in the back which is already a three barrel yikes all right so these were too powerful man two shells were already destroyed oh oh wait big hit oh they put a deck gun back there they are sneaky and cheeky okay oh wow i did not see that i do not like that at all all right we are getting shellacked on our early ship let's upgrade these to triple barrels oh big artillery shell made its impact pieces are falling on our ship okay what i need to do then is get to materials and build the glass door here and we'll put some deck plating on this thing this is an all-out slug match is what this is doing a good job once we do more damage and take out a fort i think we could invest in the air force and then we'll get our orbital strike in but it's just way too early to try that right now you know we could do i guess we we could either do sandbags but these guys are sandbags that shoot you know so let's just do that all right shells away autocannons firing two those are overshot but look at that that middle fort is getting decimated this is a really heavily targeted area so what we'll do oh they're firing you're stealing my strategies they're firing autocannons back at us oh that's good we'll adjust all three already taken out you're kidding me oh that there we go those are good massive explosions the top fort is rendered almost useless at this point auto cannon shots coming in hot and heavy dude auto cannons like i thought air force would be like the play here but it's definitely auto cannons i think so i'm thinking i'm gonna try this out uh what we're gonna need is orbital ammo which is gonna take 8 000 energy oh my god uh oh i really need to take out those deck guns oh there's their orbital laser can we take that out please please oh there's like nothing left on the top that which i'm still aiming for so i need to adjust my fire however yeah i love it oh we're getting so close to destroying that they're very heavily armored which i do like so now the main guns need to be adjusted even less to make more hits come on it's raining explosions pretty good look at that is that a cork no that's a deck gun that's the core so our main artillery oh oh please take that out there we go yes they lost their deck gun oh and we caused a nuclear eruption excellent okay all right orbital laser and orbital laser i don't think they both need to be orbital lasers but guess what we're doing making both orbital lasers all right it looks like we're winning this war of attrition so what we could do is change up our tactics i think i think we're doing this right we'll want even more ammunition now if any of this gets hit we are this thing's going up in smoke wait a minute can you build on that i don't think no you can't it has to be right okay bummer all right now with you what do we do look at that man 50 of the shells are taken out even before they start to arc oh okay excellent hits though all right so first attempt at one of these it's gonna get shot down isn't it oh my god it just threaded that needle and oh it worked but what happens now what's that oh okay so where it hits dagon but we gotta see it in action okay okay and what you need is more ammunition because it comes in very slowly and you're only building one at a time so it actually makes sense to have one at different forts orbital laser mark ii what orbital laser mark ii i guess that makes sense right all right so this is orbital laser whoa okay that's nice you can kind of see where it's aiming that kind of looks like it would hit a ship oh it's going way too low what happens will it create a buoy and float no we need buoys man we need orbital laser buoys here we go yes yes i took out the rear gun okay so most of the heavy threat is disabled we just need to take out their anti-air and i'm thinking what we might want to do is fire the cannons all right hit that back base that's looking good this guy needs to aim down oh that's juicy good hits excellent hits now what i want to do is try to get this super laser on oh that's bad he got over that oh oh he got taken out right there simultaneous autocannons beautiful that thing is oh shoot now they of course their ships are gonna be where the majority of the threat comes from these shells look like they will threaten their ships if they can make it oh wow only one's gonna get there but it did massive damage now sweep the deck that was beautiful there we go oh see they have that any aircraft gun i'm shooting my own artillery shells down whoops the super lasers not super practical yes auto cannons finally did enough damage on this thing how much ammunition oh we have we have a decent amount of munition all right firing all the guns we got there we go that's gonna make it much more difficult how about there please make it hail mary full of grace oh he got hit once he's dodging that that's gonna be difficult to dodge but he's doing it no this game it's like the coolest weapons are the least likely to work and the most usable weapons to me are like the most mundane with the uh with the autocannons i guess we could try an aircraft carrier approach i could convert this into a carrier i'm gonna try it without sinking my ship because look at that that core is almost below the water line it's a hodgepodge carry but it works flat guns sweeping the deck of enemy defenses is very necessary it looked like a banana popped off from this guy's sandbag but it was probably just a sandbag then again could be a banana let's let's go for it i think that last one was on now they just have a machine gun so it's less likely to get intercepted oh yes we got the super laser we're tracking oh my god that is massive okay okay indeed um but there is something else i'd noticed like you can upgrade to orbital focus ammunition all right we do have air strikes available so let's try to carpet bomb their air defenses that's good yes the bombs literally spliced the anti-air defenses are you kidding me what is where's their flat gun even located right there okay there we go the flat gun is down this could be it that's looking much better yes we have target acquisition call in the super lasers now there's yes okay that thing is awesome we've got these planes ready let's let's do a little bombing run on that all right bombs away boys it's so cool but it doesn't do a lot i'm telling you the best weapon pound for pound was actually these auto cannons however easily the coolest once you get it going is definitely the orbital laser oh we lost one of our a-10s bunker busters boys oh this guy can actually fire okay i don't know where you're going let's hope it's accurate oh my god what a shot just a little bit over if they still had the forts there that laser would have just destroyed one there we go the flat gun is down calling the air strikes take out those flat guns well you didn't take out the flat gun but you did a good job it's unbelievable that guy's so well protected i need to take notes [Music] come on there we go he's out okay fire the gun i think it was right on it right let's hope so concentrated laser oh yeah that looks good that looks perfect concentrated laser destroy it if it was just a little bit further back all right so i've got the system down what we do is sweep the deck almost there we go the deck is sweeped this guy has to be slightly adjusted we fire and we do our hail mary's dear and jesus please bless us on this day this shot make it accurate oh that's gonna be a good laser but it's not directly on the core so we will cut through the tail of the ship my god we are so close okay and the flat guns just kind of like destroy their little machine gunner dudes that are gonna shoot down my amazing weaponry good they've got nothing to defend themselves we gotta do it again though there we go okay now we need to go slightly back with this shot like ever so slightly just for good measure okay come on get the super laser oh that's perfect that is perfect that's gonna do it oh my goodness this game is glorious it is awesome ladies and gentlemen thank you so much for watching another
