new release so it's a brand new full release on Steam on Epic and it's out for everybody so the game is now like complete into 1.0 so it's a yeah brand brand new spanking release full game good stuff beautiful landscapes and this game is somewhat the same but uh different in many of its own ways and it's been around a little longer too so anyway welcome good to see you all here happy Friday chat and uh yeah loaded up and trucking yeah doing what they say can't be done this game also has a really cool story it kind of plays out like um I think you're on like foreign planets building railroads uh think of like you know factorio a little bit like you're transporting things between these big factories and uh uh has a little bit of the appearance and Vibe of factorio but you're building like space colonies too cuz you're transporting around water and food and things that people need on actual colonies and you know they kind of treat you a little bit like an employee you'll see what I mean mineral water is low all right welcome to the first region let's go over the basics main tasks are in the upper right corner our main task is to export for energy oh cool it's like a cyber Punk with the giant blimps and stuff coming in uh these structures are geothermal power plants they're mini Industries which produce energy this is a zeppelin dock Freight can be delivered here for export contributing to your objective and earning you profit money before we export energy we need to build track and stations and trains freaking trains BR press one to select the track tool uh with the track tool active left click on the plant and then click again near the Zeppelin dock okay I guess we just easily go this way or do they want a specific one no we're good uh track does not have to Loop for trains to be able to travel along line trains will reverse once they reach the end of the line next we have to add stations press two G is kind of cool too cuz the stations can be put on like an angle or a curve so it doesn't have to be a flat track ooh there comes the uh Zeppelin uh with the station tool active left click to uh put down the station on the geothermal plant and the Zeppelin dock the yellow means they're in range huh I could even put it as close as there but we'll go we'll go here stations let you load and offload Freight to and from nearby Industries you can connect multiple stations together to increase loading and offloading speeds now that your Railway is set up buy a train and let it roll brother hell yeah brother yeah yeah oh we're going to the Train Shop oh we can build uh tunnels too have the train tool over the track to configure your first train ah so we're buying a train and also the cars that go on the train so there's a boiler engine and then each energy car is 16 Yen mhm cheap prices oh you can customize the color let's go with um orange oh there's the engine details uh-oh we got to worry about upkeep top speed acceleration climb rate weight and rated weight extremely low upkeep cost as well as low upfront investment not recommended for Hills or fast deliveries okay so straight and flat good for uh like a desert okay we're supposed to add four give me a hell yeah fantastic you've taken your first step so the geothermal plant is charging up batteries and we're exporting that to the zeppelin dog uh it takes time to export oh so they'll only turn around when they reach the end of the line oh there's even a photo mode for the game give me a hell [Music] yeah oh there oh you're also timed oh I'm not going to worry about that that's going to be a nightmare good job building that track terminal is reporting that the trains in track passed all self checks now on the the branch control oh there's a world map nice which means there's probably multiple biomes to work in right now we're in Canada but soon ooh multiple deserts forests coastlines that's pretty cool Branch control really don't think the tutorial should be timed especially since it's like stops you with all these like you know popups please do not laugh truth be told I tried the self checks before you were assigned and the self check train got stuck okay brother yeah uh this train wants to deliver water to the city at the bottom of the hill the station will accept water and Supply it to the adjacent City before we get the train down here let's take a moment and handle the camera controls oh uh shift to rotate that's cool H&L to tilt and comma key to reset ooh cool each train has its own route at each branch in the track in this region the train carrying water does not have a clear route to the awaiting City Select the Train by left clicking and start fixing the route we want to go down there oh I see so we can stop the train h you can make a loop forever down there oh I see okay we just need to deliver a water we don't even have to make it come back oh my God that thing's going to fly off the tracks hell yeah brother oh my God whoa whoa Game of the Year wow that was that was awesome damn roller coaster vouchers can be used to purchase licenses that allow you to use new Industries upgrades upgrade engines and other extras faster is preferable yeah one of those games where clearly we want to uh do things as fast as possible but if you don't gives you good replay ability nothing wrong with that edit modifiers oh the time will not be measured you'll always receive the maximum amount rank oh okay so you can control the difficulty how you want that's kind of nice all right time to worry about output and input cool industrial chain primer many Industries have outputs which require inputs click on the steel mill steel mill requires two Freight inputs uh coal and iron in order to make steel okay this is a coal mine produces coal Iron Mine produces iron they'll continue to produce until storage is full oh we have to worry about workers too select this steal Mill industry must be staffed by workers in order for it to function the closer they are to being fully staffed the faster they'll produce output uh you can add workers or remove workers from an industry by pressing F or V sign eight workers to the steal Mill oh all right the steel mill is ready to work now all you need to do is provide iron and coal all right technically we could just do it at the furthest distance POS like you could do that technically but that might not be maybe longer is better for one delivery to fit all the cars we could also do it with one state now I don't know but one station means slower offloading guess we'll see how that works uh two stations means it can take two at a time yeah the first couple maps are all in the snow sweet absolute genus [Music] ooh hold on [Music] [Music] Euro Truck Simulator 2 West Vulcans DLC this track try selecting one of the short trains you to configure at [Music] three add an additional engine ah cool so we can add cars and engines to them all right deliver water to the Zeppelin station need to reach a certain export rate of water from the region 15 per minute oh the trans can ghost [Music] for let's see how that works okay should be a way to give car uh trains with cargo load did the priority I can get rid of that train oh guess we can't yeah this game's fully released today 1.0 full release Outpost Infinity I haven't seen a trailer for that yet okay we're at 10 out of 15 I think we need to make another train here [Music] yeah that should do it we have six workers too so we could increase the amount of water being pumped no water pumps don't need to have workers but today is like the this is rail grade if you go to the steam store Page um Friday 13 October 13th rail grade is now available so it's the full the full launch the game so it says steam launch trailer uh and I think it was on Steam before um for a year was only on Epic then I think the last year was on Epic and steam and now it's like the full game as it's intended to be played is available and it's only $22 so pretty good yeah on Jason's birthday I know sure okay um we've got two oil plants it looks like there's a few more oil wells out there like four more and there's workers housing I don't think I have to bring the workers to the oil plant I think they just get there automatically this is going to be one of those tough games though like uh Station to Station where the difficulty is not necessarily in the mission it's like making everything look pretty and like that you're satisfied with it you know I have my own rules rules where I'm going we don't need rules so another thing I need to know is if the station doesn't reach the thing do they connect together requires existing track near a source or destination okay so it does need to touch at least in that white square oh was that a tunnel kind of all right can't turn 90° no no no no no no okay uh well I guess we'll test this and see how it goes oh wait that's four and four or we might need to have double trains on here they could ghost or we could make a bypass lane we got plenty of money I guess we could make we could make a loop to return you bought workers and resources Soviet Republic it's on sale good that's a good game yeah I think hooded horse the publisher of that the people who are publishing workers and resources Soviet Republic are also publishing manner Lords and a bunch of other great games and I think they're having a sale that might end this weekend so definitely a phenomenal uh publisher and a great uh that's a great game workers and resources is like if you like City skylines but you're like oh this is too easy I want to feel physical pain when I play no get get that [Applause] game was that too high oh it exceeds the support Limit Oh So track looks like it only be two squares High three this a beautiful map though I like the details here like it looks really nice and we get to ride the trains in first person or third person well so we have a return track so we at least have to go two to go over the top of another train track makes sense [Applause] and I should just have one train bringing the energy back and forth I feel like that could be enough we'll have to see but there's more oil rigs out there so I don't know if it's intended that we should do more we'll see all right time to rip and dip so let's set up train number one [Music] n going to be hard for that boost production last 90 seconds when you're ready hit backspace to exit the screen oh they're going to build a oil well there or a water water well naturally occurring supplies within a region that's five to enter the industry menu oh we can build the industries too that's okay that's cool we're going to get a water pump license we're going to pump you up okay so if we're in the green then we can build an industry nice let's get that blue gold bottled and loaded as Freight okay I see this one we might need to loop around oh we can cross that way I don't want to do that I think we'll just do population of a city by fulfilling its demands resulting in more workers for you ah so they want water salt wire and steel and then the city will grow we'll get more workers this is cool man this is like arcade version of like uh the startup of any sort of Transport uh game where it's like you find out what the towns want start delivering it to make more workers and get money and then you start delivering uh more and then more and more and more and more and more okay so City population of 128 future task oh I like that it'll tell you what you're going to do next so you can prepare for it 40 energy so in other words fuel the city and then fuel the power plant got it well all we've got is water pump so far ah but batteries batteries will speed up the production of the [Music] water I'm there we're going to need water to the oil plant and probably water to the oil well I don't know if I'm going to have enough money at this well actually the Industries could be really expensive oil well water pump they're a th000 each um might even want to upgrade this water pump we'll see if we're not making enough we'll make more yeah this game lets you build Industries pretty cute pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty cool now do we have a zeppelin export no the batteries though are just going to go to so the batteries need to go to the water pumps oh that's interesting so there's like multiple ways to upgrade things so you have workers for Industries but then you have upgrades for like water pumps but then then also the water pumps could require batteries and then they're going to require oil all right so if I ship oil and water to the oil power plant that'll help the water if I ship water to the oil wells that'll help the pump the oil pumps but it's the water's only going to come from there so and I don't want to do too much cuz I don't want to like go bankrupt I thought the Robocop game was cool as hell I know there was some people who I don't know they they see PS3 graphics and you know the the graphic bad game bad argument is invalid it it just doesn't doesn't apply time and time again I can and for every person that says graphic bad game bad I can provide a 100 examples of games that have made massive amounts of sales it's all based on gameplay somebody was complaining that RoboCop didn't have a Crouch button or he couldn't jump and it's like bro are where all the resources are and then you start thinking in your mind like what's the most efficient way and the most affordable way to transport the most amount of goods in the fastest amount of time for the most amount of money dude freaking birds are flying over wow cool this game has like flora and fauna akuna matata what a wonderful phrase yeah alien Birds okay so I think we could have two trains running on this line one that's bringing water to the oil plant and one that's bringing batteries back to the oil to the water pump or actually what I could do is put three cars of water on one and a battery car on the other is there no way to move that heart no yeah if you're seeing a little heart in like the lower right side of the screen that's like a new YouTube feature you know it's supposed to increase interactivity or whatever I don't know I can't turn it off though it some people might see it but in traditional YouTube fashion YouTube will giveth and take take it away take it away take it away take it away it's so cool like the we're not even like technically playing the level yet we're still in the planning phase and it's really cool to like plan this all out but at a certain point we're going to have to hit go and then build more cuz we're going to run out of money oh we could we could do that yeah this is a lot like um how railroads online works too that's also like a puzzle solving game oh there's water down here so we could get more water for the city that way yeah I know the yeah where they put the heart is dumb I don't know where else they could put it but um I cut cutting off messages and making it harder to use sounds like YouTube in a nutshell okay um so okay once we buy our first train the timer starts so I don't want to do it just yet so this train will haul water and batteries back and forth to the water pip pump which will increase water going to the power plant which in turn will make more batteries to which we can ship some down here to this water pump but the problem with the batteries is that they have a there's a maximum storage at each of these locations and we would have to deliver it via rail an industry needs workers assigned okay there we go so they at least want me to make 40 energy so we do need to pump out uh batteries no matter what and there'll be a bottleneck if we don't put them somewhere to be used so now 5,000 bucks ain't a lot cuz we got to buy the trains next how much of those well not too expensive yeah where's that new train all right let's start the timer and see how things go we'll start with water uh cheap price or balance speed oh this one has a top speed of 50 o we're going to have to go with that boy wait go this way I think we can just get away with [Music] four then I need to build another train but yeah boy that thing's going to make another four Water by the time that Train's halfway there anyway let's start the oil I also like how the game automatically detects what's on the line so you don't accidentally export something that you didn't mean to I go with a cheap train here this is just a really short line that should hold batteries back to the water pump there then we need to make another water pump that goes that way and that should pick up a battery yep okay cool and then that's just going to make more and more water we got to make 40 we're not getting enough water actually we could just buil maybe building another industry would just be cheaper to build an oil well I think that'd just be cheaper to build another Well rather than build a super long train line yeah I probably would have equaled out that's a speedy boy train is fast man how I can't get it to go the other way there we [Music] go okay so that thing's making a lot of water so we could bring another train line of water to the city unfortunately it it seems like ghosting mode might be necessary because you can only make the trains like can't really uh set up a block Network you can give them like ways to bypass each other but you can't really control if they slow down or stop or whatnot I don't see a way to do that anyway a train will just hit its maximum speed and then if another Train's in front of it it won't stop in a section yeah we have to double rail everywhere and that's just too expensive like it's it's it's the right way to do things but it's just too expensive okay now now we're making tons of water just keep it at four this is a bank Banks can offer you oh budget no that's a scam whoa 8% oh you can deposit money oo what does that do I can earn interest on my money okay oh wow you can actually time when [Music] you you can actually time like when you make a withdrawal oh yeah this place can't even can't even accept the water anymore okay we need to make 40 energy I got to ship out more uh more batteries to make a a train line that goes down to that water pump though is so expensive and it would it would just fill up and I don't think it'd be worth it can we we can upgrade that to produce more batteries but I need somewhere to take the batteries we we got to build more uh train lines to go down there can I pull out my money now there still not enough money though to make a new train and go across there we could upgrade the water pump actually that might be a good idea then I can put more trains going to the city that thing's line all right um well let's start with the steel mill as they said oh these don't have a catalyst oh but they produce waste where do these want waste yeah it accepts waste as a catalyst okay that's amazing but yeah and factorio announced that they're redoing some of the trains and some of the other like all the mod makers are excited now CU they're adding you know new stuff in the base game means new stuff for modders you know you know actually this isn't even that far and I'm going to make a loop anyway the problem here though is that with the distance to the steel mill being short and with a lot of [Music] um stuff going into the steel mill there's going to be a bottleneck but the town want steel so we can ship that back I could do this oh you only have to go one yeah the birds are a nice touch yeah okay this is going to be taking steel away so this will go to the city no internet hasn't been upgraded yet I'm still waiting uh for the uh the event for it to go down the uh The Purge The Purge has yet to begin you're still trying to figure out what to do first and what goes where yeah me too uh but I think the the best thing to do is to start with whatever they gave us in the upper right corner so we're going to start with just steel we only have to produce eight which isn't that much but then we have to have some of that go to the uh liance Factory so we're going to have to first connect to the town to make money from steel we can also export steel but I also want the city to grow because if I get the city to grow to 128 then I can assign more workers cuz I only have six so I want the steel mill to work at maximum capacity and then I can export some steel too so the Zeppelin export dock will buy steel for 64 but the town will buy it for nothing but it'll it'll grow the town and when the time comes I could just delete this station at the steel mill or the connection between the steel mill and the town and then just use that as a hub to bring the appliances through so the appliances can just go over the steel mill and then right to the city or to the Zeppelin dock which I don't know if they'll buy that maybe the tier 2 City will buy oh maybe the tier 2 City will make waste as well I'm not sure but I think we'll need money first and we need money and we need um to export to the town so maybe I'll make a route going up there too but let's connect to the city first cuz we do need more workers for the uh steel mill and then the appliance factories and stuff so raw resources won't take workers they can only be upgraded [Applause] okay they will ghost through each other but you can have them not do that I'm making Loops here so so that way they don't do that but also you can make shuttle trains that just go like back and forth where you can have like a locomotive on each end that just shuttles things yeah this game's got a lot of options on how to play you can even have like stations on an angle and you can do that if you want pretty cool hey you can do you can do a curve station pretty cool oh I can't go through the Oh I thought I would have been able to build through there my bad well change of plans then yeah this game gives you options which is nice leave that like that for [Music] now and uh uh some of the yeah some of the missions let you place Industries like we placed our own concrete Factory but some of the water pumps come it just depends on the mission sometimes you have to build it other times it's there sometimes you can do both where they'll be one but then you can add multiple to increase the industry cuz sometimes these towns want like you know lots of water so you can provide a little bit of the water and then eventually expand do more water ah just too many games not enough time yeah the problem is with Assassin's Creed Mirage is it dropped right when the steam next event dropped and then you know City skylines right around the corner and too many games not enough time I thought Mirage was cool though I was enjoying how do I make this go higher yeah there's there's ways in the game to kind of cheat if you want to I think it's just meant so that way like younger younger kids or other people can just like try to I wouldn't say there's ways to cheat it's more like you can make the missions easier based on your preference if you want want the missions to be tough they can be tough they provide a good [Applause] challenge well I guess those two elevations are different under there H I don't know why it does that oh there we go that was tricky but we got it cool symmet uh production is that the city doesn't really want that much they want more water than anything else but so long as all the trains are fully uh shipping with water will be all right W concrete yard can take a hell of a lot of water though [Music] love the look at the buildings in this game really looks nice this reminds me of that new uh City Builder that came out recently that we covered called high high-rise city which plays a little bit more like re workers and resources Soviet Republic with how the uh I I like how games are now getting a little bit more into resources are needed to build a city you can't just like you can't just have a dump truck full of gold bars pull up dump it on the ground and then magically a building appears it's like um no that takes planning and you got to have workers and got to bring excavators to the site bulldozers expeditors the lunch truck we really should take advantage of that water spring there but we need I probably need another 3,000 to buy a train build station and a track onto the existing okay I want to upgrade another one of these and then buy another train so upgrade is $2,048 iise has a demo yeah good game keep in mind chat we're getting close to the end of the steam next event it ends on Sunday so a lot of the games you may have seen on the channel will uh come to an end not all of them though I think some of them like for example the RoboCop demo because that comes out um on like November 2nd or something something that'll probably be any game that's releasing in the next month probably would have its demo up until the one more train I'll put it right me we got another silica train rolling through and they need way more silica to make that concrete too it's two to one two silica for one water and it's got to go much further distance man it gobbles up that silica the mo the moment that train left the station that silica was just gone look he can't even pull out of the station without yep it's immediately over wow hey but we got you know the city seems to constantly be growing Del trains on the way back that should hit four by the yep wait didn't I upgrade this oh they started level zero okay I see so we got 11 minutes to hit 256 let's see if we can do it so level zero demands also need to be before level one demands can be taken into account okay so they still need more water what I want to do here is just upgrade our water pumps again and add another train could go to the bank let's do it now horrible horrible rates well we need that water and we can't do batteries so it has to be through upgrades the water must flow silica is being imported Max Max Speed what's the number two upgrade 4,000 okay it's good enough for another train but without water they won't accept concrete so we need to keep pumping out that water water those got them damn 8,000 now for the next level ain't no way but now we can buy another train shortly this is the cleanest map we've done this is great this is sexy Super
